The diploma thesis focuses on the performance evaluation of ALMIPA plus s.r.o. using the Balanced Scorecard method. The theoretical part defines the basic theoretical background, which are necessary to understand the issue and the subsequent processing of other parts of the thesis. Dagens samhälle har blivit mer och mer digitaliserat vilket har lett till att förändrade köpbeteende har vuxit fram hos kunderna. Genom den digitala utveckling har kundernas tillgång till information ökat kraftigt, vilket gör att kunderna är mer välinformerade än någonsin. Det ökar konkurrens mellan de olika aktörerna på marknaden och leder till att driva på innovationstakten. För att lyckas med det räcker det inte längre att företagen fokuserar på teknisk utveckling utan de måste istället fokusera på att ta fram helt nya affärsmodeller. De nya affärsmodellerna bör i sin tur fokusera på att sätta användarna i centrum för värdeskapandet för att på så vis maximera användarnas upplevda värde. Frågeställningen som besvarats genom uppsatsen har därför varit att undersöka hur användarcentread affärsmodellinnovation kan bedrivas i ett B2C sammanhang. Syftet var sedan att ta fram ett ramverk för användarcentrerad affärsmodellinnovation. För att göra det utgick arbetet från uppfyllnad av användarnas behov för att på så vis säkerställa att användarcentrering uppnås. För att ta fram ramverket studerades relevant litteratur och sex olika fallföretag för att på så vis ta fram ett nytt analysverktyg som kan användas för att förstå och jämföra affärsmodellinnovation mellan olika företag. Det verktyget applicerades sedan på de olika fallen varpå en inbördes jämförelse genomfördes. Utifrån den jämförelsen kunde sedan en sammanställning av best practice av användarcentrerad affärsmodellinnovation tas fram. Utifrån jämförelsen kunde även konkreta insikter om hur företag som vill ställa om från en traditionell B2B-logik mot att istället bli en mer användar- och B2C-fokuserad verksamhet tas fram. Fallstudierna var av teoretisk och kvalitativ karaktär och baserades på i första hand av studier av teoretiska artiklar, årsredovisningar och kvalitativa intervjuer med innovationspersonal på fallföretagen. Den empiriska undersökningen visar att framgångsrik användarcentrerad affärsmodellinnovation tenderar att fokusera på innovation av kunderbjudande, kundrelationer och kanaler. Traditionella företag som är fokuserade på att göra affärer med andra företag tenderar däremot att fokusera på innovation av interna aktiviteter och resurser. För företag som vill skifta fokus i verksamheten från B2B till B2C användarcentrering bör därför ställa om den övergripande innovationsförmågan mot en mer erbjudande och kundorienterat innovationsstrategi. Det nya ramverket kan således användas rakt av för att applicera användarcentrerad affärsmodellinnovation i ett företag. Eller så kan ramverket omformas och anpassas efter andra kontexter än de som studerats i uppsatsen genom att använda andra eller fler exempel. Slutligen kan även de konkreta verktygen som satts samman och presenterats i uppsatsen användas separat för att övergripande analysera och förstå affärsmodellinnovation i företag eller hela branscher.
Today's society has become more and more digitalized, which has led to that changes in purchasing patterns have emerged among customers. Through the digital development, customers' access to information has increased dramatically, which means that customers are more informed than ever. That development leads to increased competition between the various players on the market and an increase in the pace of innovation. To succeed, it is no longer enough that companies focus on technological development but must instead focus on developing new business models. The new business models in turn should focus on putting users at the center of the value creation to thereby maximize the users' perceived value. The question that is answered through this thesis has been how user centered business model innovation can be conducted in a B2C context. The aim then was to develop a framework for user-centric business model innovation. To make it work the thesis has been focusing on the fulfillment of the user needs, thus ensuring that the user centering is achieved. To develop the framework relevant literature and six different cases companies were studied, in order to create a new analysis tool that can be used to understand and compare business model innovation between companies. The tool was then applied to the various cases and the results were compared with each other. Based on the comparison a compilation of best practices of user- centered business model innovation could be compiled. Based on the comparison practical insights on how companies who want to switch from a traditional B2B logic to instead become a more user- and B2C-focused activities were identified and analyzed. The case studies were of theoretical and qualitative nature and based on primarily the study of theoretical articles, annual reports and interviews with staff working with innovation in the cases companies. The empirical study shows that successful user-centric business model innovation tends to focus on innovation of value propositions, customer relations and channels. Traditional companies that are focused on doing business with other companies, however, tend to focus on the innovation of internal activities and resources. For companies that want to shift the focus of the business from B2B to B2C should hence change the overall innovation capability towards more offers- and customer-oriented innovation strategies. The new framework can be used straight off to apply user-centered business model innovation in a company. Or the framework can be reshaped and adapted to different contexts than those studied in this thesis by using other or more examples. Finally, the concrete tools that are put together and presented in the thesis could be used independently to analyze and understand the overall business model innovation in companies or entire industries.

ABSTRACT Titel: Gavlegårdarnas BSC, Balanserat styrkort i ett fastighetsbolag Nivå: C-uppsats i ämnet företagsekonomi Författare: Daniel Lazic & Adrian Ottosson Handledare: Ann Wetterlind-Dörner Datum: 2011 - Maj Syfte: Vår C-uppsats tar sin början i en litteratur- och fallstudie som vi utförde i kursen Verksamhetsstyrning 2 där syftet var att fördjupa oss inom ett styrkoncept. Syftet med den här studien är att uppdatera Gavlegårdarnas balanserade styrkort. Genom en studie i litteraturen ville vi få en uppfattning samt presentera hur ett effektivt styrkort kan vara utformat. Därefter ville vi identifiera de brister som finns i Gavlegårdarnas styrkort och utifrån detta ge förslag på hur uppdateringen av styrkortet kan gå till. Metod: I vår studie har vi arbetat utifrån en deduktiv ansats. Vi valde att arbeta kring en kvalitativ vetenskaplig metod då vi skulle göra empiriska intervjuer. Vi har använt oss av både sekundär- och primärdata. Vi har sedan jämfört teori med empiri för att identifiera skillnader mellan dem, men även för att upptäcka brister som idag finns och för att slutligen ge förslag till förbättringar. Resultat & slutsats: Några brister vi identifierat är att Gavlegårdarna inte låter sitt BSC genomsyra hela verksamheten, att det inte finns tydliga kopplingar mellan de fyra perspektiven i styrkortet och att de inte använder sig av strategier för att uppnå de mål de har under varje perspektiv. Förslag till fortsatt forskning: Fortsatt forskning kan handla om en jämförelse mellan fler fastighetsbolag, olika kommunalägda bolag. En studie kring att implementera ett helt nytt BSC i Gavlegårdarnas verksamhet kan vara intressant eller en vidare forskning om kritiken kring BSC, som lett fram till användandet av strategiska kartor. Uppsatsens bidrag: Vi hoppas att vi genom vårt arbete kan komma att få andra studenter att bli inspirerade och intresserade av BSC. ABSTRACT Title: Gavlegårdarnas BSC, The balanced scorecard in a real estate company Level: Final assignment for Bachelor Degree in Business Administration Author: Daniel Lazic & Adrian Ottosson Supervisor: Ann Wetterlind-Dörner Date: 2011 - may Aim: Our essay starts with a literature review and a case study that we did in the course Business Management 2. The purpose was to immerse ourselves in a steering concept. The purpose of this study is updating the balanced scorecard for Gavlegårdarna. Through literature, we wanted to get an idea and present how an effective BSC can be designed. Then we wanted to identify the failures of Gavlegårdarna scorecard and from this give suggestion of how the update may be completed. Method: In our thesis we have worked from a deductive approach. We choose to do a qualitative scientific method as we would do empirical interviews. We used both secondary and primary data. Then we compared the theory with empirical data to identify discrepancies between theory and empiricism. Then we wanted to identify the gaps and make suggestions for improvement. Result & Conclusions: Some of the weaknesses we have identified are that the company doesn’t let their BSC to permeate all its activities, they haven’t clear links between the four perspectives of the scorecard and they do not use any direct strategies to achieve the objectives it has in each perspective. Suggestions for future research: Future research may involve a comparison between more real estate companies or between different public owned companies. A study of implementing a completely new BSC in Gavlegårdarnas organization can be interesting and further research into the criticism of the BSC, which led to the use of strategic maps. Contribution of the thesis: We hope that through our work other students might be inspired and interested in the BSC. Perhaps future paper writers will find inspiration in our work and reflect upon what we have written, or make future researches on the proposals that we have given. Bakgrund: Företag som har utvecklat ett BSC med finansiella mått, mått förinterna processer, kundtillfredsställelse samt innovations-ochinlärningsförmåga, har en grund för ett välfungerande styrsystem ochbör därför utgå från denna som bas för belöningssystemet. I syfte att fåbelöningssystemet att bli en integrerad del i företagsverksamhetsstyrning bör Balanced Scorecard användas som bas förbelöningssystemet. Detta leder bland annat till att alltför kortsiktigvinstinriktning undviks. Metod: Vi har genomfört en fallstudie på företaget SCA Packaging Sweden.Denna studie innefattar en kvalitativ undersökning med abduktion somforskningsansats samt en kvantitativ undersökning. Datainsamlingenav primärdata för den kvalitativa undersökningen har skett genomkvalitativa intervjuer, och den kvantitativa studien bygger på enenkätundersökning. Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att beskriva hur SCA Packaging använderBalanced Scorecard och belöningssystemet, samt analysera omföretagets BSC kan användas som grund för belöningar. Vidare har viambitionen att belysa huruvida ett Balanced Scorecard skulle motiveratill högre prestation enligt medarbetarna på SCA Packaging. Slutsats: Utifrån litteratur och empiri har det framgått att SCA Packaging tillstor del inte använder BSC på det sätt som den teoretiskareferensramen föreslår. SCA Packaging kan därför i dagsläget inteanvända BSC som bas för belöningssystemet utan företagets BSCbehöver först utvecklas. Resultatet visade även att majoriteten avrespondenterna som arbetar på SCA Packaging anser att ettprestationsbaserat belöningssystem som bygger på mått somexempelvis kundtillfredsställelse och produktkvalitet skulle varamotiverande för dem då det bland annat är viktigt med sådana mått pålång sikt.

Denna studie undersöker hur framgångsrika B2C e-handelsföretag och UI-design är sammankopplat. Undersökningen har sin utgångspunkt i vilka element och funktioner på en e-handelssida som användarna anser relevanta. Med relevanta menas viktiga för att användarna ska tycka att e-handeln är professionell och visuellt tilltalande, för att få användarna att stanna kvar på sidan och förhoppningsvis bli betalande kunder. Studien genomfördes tillsammans med sex respondenter och den jämför två e-handelssidor. De båda e-handelssidorna har valts ut utifrån att en av dessa uppfyller de kriterier som formulerats, i form av ett grundantagande, och den andra för att den inte uppfyller dessa kriterier. Momenten och metoderna intervju, inspelning av interaktion, retrospektiv tänka- högt och enkät ingår i studien och fungerar som datainsamling. Resultatet av denna datainsamling ställs sedan mot teoretiska förklaringsmodeller som presenteras i rapporten. Resultatet visar tydliga resultat kring vilka element och funktioner som anses relevanta och tillsammans med de teoretiska förklaringsmodellerna visar resultatet en fördel för den e- handel som uppfyller kriterierna. De resultat som presenteras analyseras och diskuteras sedan för att avslutningsvis presentera en slutsats. I slutsatsen ställs resultatet av studien mot den ursprungliga forskningsfrågan samt ger förslag för vidare forskning.
This study investigates how successful B2C e-commerce companies and UI-design are interconnected. The survey has its starting point in which elements and features of an e- commerce page that users consider relevant. Relevant meaning that it is important for users to think that e-commerce is professional and visually appealing, to make users stay on the page and hopefully become paying customers. The study was conducted alongside six respondents and it compares two e-commerce pages. The two e-commerce pages have been selected based on the fact that one of them meets the criteria formulated, in the form of a basic assumption, and the other because it does not meet these criteria. The moments and methods of interview, interaction recording, retrospective think-aloud and questionnaire are included in the study and act as data collection. The result of this data collection is then set against the theoretical explanatory models presented in the report. The result shows clear results about which elements and functions are considered relevant and along with the theoretical explanatory models, the result shows an advantage for the e-commerce that meets the criteria. The results presented are analyzed and discussed to conclude a conclusion. In conclusion, the results of the study are based on the original research question and provide suggestions for further research.

The thesis deals with Balanced Scorecard (BSC) method from the related theoretical and practical point of view. Starting point of the thesis focuses on the content of Balanced Scorecard that is expressed by the analysis of the two key functions of BSC -- BSC as a measurement system and BSC as a strategic management system. The content analysis of BSC is accompanied by the description of the suitable techniques that can be used in the process of creating BSC. On the basis of gained information of the content aspects and the suitable techniques is created proposal of BSC system for real Train Engineer a.s. Corporation.

Resumen

The Master’s thesis is focused on evaluation the performance of the company NEPA. The theoretical part includes the definition of business performance concepts and the presentation of the assessment methodology. This part continues in the description of selected types of strategic analyses. There is an introduction of the company, its activities, strategic and financial analyses in analytic part. That is important for inscription and the base of Balanced Scorecard concept. Based on these findings a Balanced Scorecard implementation proposal is for the analyzed company. In the conclusion, this is completed with relevant proposals.

Resumen

Dr. Eleine Mad är Madeleine Jacobsssons talesperson för dom vetenskapliga och paranormala upptäckter som uppstår i hennes världar. Hon beskriver innehåll, teknik och estetik utifrån ett kategoriseringssytem där konsten delas upp som olika typer av komponenter och därefter avkodas dessa allteftersom. För att förstå intuitionens inblandning i arbetsprocessen omförvandlas den till tre separata roller av en Sökare, Samlare och Myntare. Med rollerna försöker jag beskriva på vilka sätt som intuitionen är till gagn eller av förödelse för det konstnärliga arbetet. Sagan om M handlar om en grodlik karaktär, Delop, som lämnar sin hemplanet för att uppsöka andra världar. I sitt sökande hittar Delop ett folkslag vars syn och levnadssätt skiljer sig från hennes erfarenheter av “verkligheten” såsom hon lärt sig att överleva i den.
Dr. Eleine Mad is Madeleine Jacobsson's spokesperson for the scientific and paranormal discoveries that arise in her worlds. She describes content, tecniques and aesthetics based on a categorization system where art is divided into different types of components and then decoded as they go. To understand the intuition's involvement in the work process, it is transformed into three separate roles by a Seeker, Collector and a Myntare(In swedish language the one who is a "myntare" -is verbally declaring a concept or term). With these roles I try to describe in what ways intuition is beneficial or devastating to the artistic work. The story of M is about a frog-like character, Delop, who leaves the home planet to seek out other worlds. In her search, Delop finds a world whose views and lifestyles differ from her experiences of "reality" as she learned to survive in it.
