Phytoplasmas are dangerous bacteria severely infecting agricultural production worldwide. In the present study, the identification of phytoplasmas infecting tomato plants showing symptoms such as small leaves, flower abnormalities, stunting, witches' broom, and reddening was performed. We describe a new species of New Guinea Worm-Eating Snake (Elapidae: Toxicocalamus) from a specimen in the reptile collection of the Papua New Guinea National Museum and Art Gallery. <strong>Abstract.</strong> <em>Amblyomma helvolum </em>Koch is a reptile- associated bont tick native to the Oriental and Australasian regions. This account reports host records of <em>A. helvolum </em>collected during the 2017 herpetological expedition in Sorsogon province. In addition, tick specimens from a dead king cobra collected in 2023 were included representing the first record of <em>A. helvolum</em> parasitizing <em>Ophiophagus hannah</em> (Elapidae) in the Philippines. The genus Atriadops Wandolleck, 1897 (Diptera: Nemestrinidae) occurs in the Neotropical, Afrotropical, Indomalayan and Australasian Regions. It is easily recognized by not having ocelli and the vestigial mouthparts. Out of the seven recognized species worldwide, only one is present in the Neotropics, A. macula (Wiedemann, 1824). We report the first record of Atriadops from Ecuador, a female of A. macula, from the Napo Province, provide the first DNA barcode for the species, and discuss the possible reasons for the low number of records of this genus.

Koponenius, the westernmost genus of the basically Australasian family Haplodesmidae which has hitherto been known by two species only, one each from Nepal and northern India, is recorded in Myanmar for the first time. It is represented there by K. simplex n. sp., from Chin State, the first haplodesmid to be described from Myanmar. This new species nicely fills in the considerable gap in the distribution of indigenous Haplodesmidae lying between the Himalayas, on the one hand, and Thailand and Yunnan Province, southern China, on the other hand.
