Resumen
This article describes the riparian vegetation of a river in the Rio Grande do Norte state for the first time. This is a seasonal river in the semiarid region of the Caatinga biome. The study is based on data from herbarium collections and new expeditions from July 2007 to October 2008. Two hundred and forty seven taxa were recorded and of these, 116 are herbs and three of which are epiphytes, 25 sub-shrubs, 77 shrubs or trees, 26 lianas, one parasite, and two palms. This study focuses on the Quaternary sea level changes in the Apodi-Mossoró Estuary and adjacent shelf, Northeastern Brazil, based on the analysis of high-resolution seismic profiles, integrated with echosounder, SRTM and satellite image data. We use these data to develop a relative stratigraphy. An incised-valley extending from the Apodi-Mossoró Estuary onto the shelf dominates the investigated area. As aquatic macrophytes absorb a large amount of essential nutrients or not to their development. The goal of this work was to determine the amount of total nitrogen [EMBRAPA, 1999] and the crude protein content [Boyd, 1970] present in aquatic macrophytes of the species Eichhornia crassipes, relating the values ??obtained with the temporal variability . Abstract This study evaluated the spatial and temporal distribution and density of the bivalve Donax striatus, at beaches close to the Apodi/Mossoró River estuary, through, six semiannual sampling campaigns were performed between April/2009 and October/2011.
