Resumen
This article investigates the musical thought and stylistic evolution of the American modernist composer Ruth Crawford Seeger (1901-1953) in her formative years. It shows the relationship of style and idea to what she termed "spiritual concept": the core of her transcendental modernism. The sources of Crawford's spiritual aesthetics are Theosophy, Eastern religious philosophy, nineteenth-century American Transcendentalism, and the imaginative tradition of Walt Whitman. Thus Crawford drew on an eclectic legacy of ideas that had been linked in American intellectual life since the turn of the century. Documentation of her thought is based on unpublished diaries, poems, and correspondence. The mediation between style and idea is discussed in terms of the influence of two composers, Scriabin and Dane Rudhyar, and specific compositional procedures, such as: (1) the local referential gesture, exposed through expressive terminology like "mystic," "veiled," and "religioso"; (2) the hidden program, in which an untitled work is revealed to have an extra-musical context; and (3) the free, imaginative recreation of Eastern sacred chant. Music discussed includes the Sonata for Violin and Piano, the sixth and ninth prelude for piano, and the Chants for Women's Chorus.

Resumen
Blood vessel formation requires endothelial cell (EC) migration that depends on dynamic remodeling of the cytoskeleton. Rudhira/Breast Carcinoma Amplified Sequence 3 (BCAS3) is a cytoskeletal protein essential for EC migration and sprouting angiogenesis during mouse development and is implicated in metastatic disease. Here, we report that Rudhira mediates cytoskeleton organization and dynamics during EC migration. Rudhira binds to both microtubules (MTs) and vimentin intermediate filaments (IFs) and stabilizes MTs. Rudhira depletion impairs cytoskeletal cross-talk, MT stability, and hence focal adhesion disassembly. The BCAS3 domain of Rudhira is necessary and sufficient for MT-IF cross-linking and cell migration. Pharmacologically restoring MT stability rescues gross cytoskeleton organization and angiogenic sprouting in Rudhira-depleted cells. Our study identifies the novel and essential role of Rudhira in cytoskeletal cross-talk and assigns function to the conserved BCAS3 domain. Targeting Rudhira could allow tissue-restricted cytoskeleton modulation to control cell migration and angiogenesis in development and disease.

Resumen
In the modern information society a man is in the flow of a dynamic life. An avalanche of information falls on him, which has a strong impact on his consciousness. In this situation the question of human values becomes particularly relevant. The relevance of the values’ problem draws attention to the concepts that reveal new aspects in the determination, formation and functioning of values. Regarding it the A. Maslow’s concept of values, built by a researcher in the XX century on the basis of psychology, is of interest. The purpose of the research is to reveal the main provisions of the A. Maslow’s concept of values highlighting the moments of novelty in them, and to show its influence on the certain cultural phenomena, in particular astrology. The analysis of astrology is based on the material of works of D. Rudhyar, the famous philosopher and astrologer. Within the research such methods of humanitarian knowledge as the method of comparison, analysis and synthesis are used. It is need to separately note the method of philosophical hermeneutics, the main elements of which are understanding and interpretation of the text. The study of the A. Maslow’s concept of values and the possibilities of its application in culture allows us to outline the new ways of entering the applied axiology, which is closely related to the inner man. A new determinant of the genesis of values – psychological – is discovered. A. Maslow reveals that the basis of the formation of values is the person’s needs and abilities. It is on their basis the valuable and significant for a person is formed. An attempt is made to move the issue of developing values from a purely descriptive plane to a practical one, eliminating the gap between «what is» and «what should be». It is revealed the usefulness of applying the A. Maslow’s concept of values with the example of astrology, which is not exclusively descriptive but involves an active practical application of it by a person. Moreover, based on that, markers of human interests and his receptivity to various cultural phenomena, in particular, astrology, are identified. The revealed features give a new way of looking at the explanation of the reasons for modern people hobbies and addictions to different non-scientific ways of mastering the world, including astrology. The research seems to be significant for further investigation of the forms and methods of human mastering the world and his interests in various aspects of modern cultural life.

Hybridization program has been used to increase fish production for more than three decades. Concern to this program is due to the problem of potential impact on wild population. Hence, it is urgently needed to provide quick identification tools in the field and as well as commercial aspect in term of growth rate. This study investigated biometric characters, growth performance, and ovarian development of Pangasius djambal and Pangasianodon hypophthalmus and their reciprocal hybrids. A detailed morphological analysis was done on the hybrids of P. djambal and P. hypophthalmus. Earthen pond on the growth comparison as well as the ovarian development was also observed. The results of morphometric and meristic showed that the reciprocal hybrids have intermediate characters except for gill rakers numbers in which lower than that of parental species. Growth analysis showed that hybrids has better performance compare to the parental one, while ovarian development of hybrids was developed abnormal. No oocytes reached vitellogenesis and showed major atresia and fatty. It can be concluded that hybrids of P. djambal and P. hypophthalmus is true hybrids. The hybrids can be used as final seed for aquaculture production due to clearly identify from parents, superior growth performance and steril.

Resumen
French-American composer Dane Rudhyar’s (1895–1985) vision of dissonance as a spiritual discipline was profoundly influential upon American ultra-modernist composers in the 1920s and ’30s. Rudhyar’s own compositions manifest his theoretical ideas, which revolve around a mystical conception of Tone as the totality of all possible musical sounds. His prose reveals several interrelated methods of creating Tone: using the piano’s sounding board as a gong, employing dissonant harmony (relating pitches by geometric relationships, which manifest as interval cycles), applying “the new sense of space” (beginning from wholeness, which requires equal divisions of the octave), and creating organic forms by basing each composition on a “seed-tone” (a dissonant tonic sonority). Rudhyar’s theoretical writings suggest two compatible methods of constructing seed-tones: building quintal sonorities (which exemplify dissonant harmony in Rudhyar’s theory) and employing “interpenetrating harmonic series.” These two methods facilitate the identification of seed-tones and their elaborations in Rudhyar’s piano music. Schenkerian-style graphs accompany detailed analyses of two of Rudhyar’s piano pieces: “Stars” and the first movement of Granites. Rudhyar’s seed-tones may suggest new analytic perspectives for other post-tonal repertoire. In addition, Rudhyar’s connection of dissonance with spirituality serves as a reminder that many early-twentieth-century pioneers in atonality and dodecaphony perceived a numinousness in this new music.

Resumen
ABSTRACT This study aimed at assessing the economic impact of Pusa Rudhira variety using an economic surplus approach during 2014-15 in Haryana. Primary data were collected from Panipat, Sonepat and Fatehabad districts purposively on account of a large area under vegetable cultivation and the total sample was 120 farmers. The results revealed that there was an economic surplus of 100.84 crores generated out of this technology. Of this total surplus, the share of producers’ and consumers’ gains was around 66 and 34 percent respectively. It implied that such benefits came from investment in research of this crop production technology. Financial viability analysis of returns to investment in research of developing the Pusa Rudhira variety showed that the project was economically viable since benefit-cost ratio (BCR) and internal rate of return (IRR) was 447 and 138 percent respectively. Sensitivity analysis was conducted, four scenarios were developed keeping both supply and demand elasticity at a different level. While keeping inelastic demand and supply elastic, the economic surplus was 59.4 crore.

Resumen
The 20th century did not only see the rise of academic sociology, but highlighted also strife within societies that resulted in specific forms of totalitarianism. Literature on the relationship of sociology and these totalitarianisms is controversial. Some authors state that sociology is not a natural antipode to dictatorships: Some sociologists like Sombart and Michels were active proponents of totalitarian ideology, and most totalitarian regimes quite liked the technical expertise of social research. Other authors propose that a flourishing sociology needs a certain form of society characterized by openness and tolerance to find a constructive climate for theoretical reflection, empirical research and practical relevance. From this position one could state that there is a “Wahlverwandtschaft”, a structural affinity, between sociology and democracy. The article uses empirical material from a case study on the development of sociology at the University of Halle between 1900 and 1990. The University of Halle is an interesting case in so far as in this East German university the societal context varies between monarchy, democracy, fascism and communism. The empirical material focuses on published and unpublished work of Friedrich Hertz and Rudhard Stollberg, as well as archive material to their activities and conflicts. Specific dead ends of forms of historical sociology and empirical sociology are analysed with regard to the guiding question, whether there is a structural tension between forms of totalitarianism and sociology.

Resumen
A detailed review of ancient texts of Ayurveda connotes tremendous information on wound healing potentials of herbs being utilized by their different forms. This brings curiosity to learn more about the creative applications of herbs in various types of wounds. Probably this could be one among the several reasons which honors Sushruta, an Ancient Indian Surgeon as Father of Surgery. Wound dressing in various systems were compared not only on the basis of the rate of granulation tissue formed or the rate of wound healing but, also on the cost and duration of hospital stay of the patient which was considered as a measure of the morbidity of the patient. As per Ayurvedic texts, Wounds, Ulcers, Burns and Incision all are grouped under one term as ‘Vrana’, a defect in skin or mucous membrane being common in all of them. On the basis of stages of pathogenesis Vrana or ulcer has been divided as Dushta Vrana (Chronic / non healing / infected ulcer), Shuddhavrana (Healthy wound), Ruhyamana Vrana, Rudha Vrana (healed Vrana). Sushruta indicates eight pearls for Infective ulcer, these eight being the eight forms of medical therapeutics used locally to cleanse the ulcer and bring to healthy state.
