Resumen

This article provides an update of a lighthouse heritage experiential education project conducted by the Run Run Shaw Library, City University of Hong Kong. This project initiative aims to encourage students to conduct research by leveraging digital technology and archival collections, and hence connect themselves with the communities. The research team followed the six-step ‘forensic investigation' to continue its mission of 3D restoration of the lost Xiyu Pagoda Lighthouse in Xiyu Island, Penghu, Taiwan. A new line of inquiry regarding the economic behaviour of the pagoda lighthouse was also extended during the course of clarifying the obscured text of the evidence collected. Beyond demonstrating how technology and humanities are intertwined, the aim of this article is to illustrate how librarians may actively disseminate knowledge through connecting students with archival collections.

Resumen

This study analyses financial liberalisation in Trinidad and Tobago within the context of the McKinnon–Shaw model. The broad objective of this article is to empirically investigate the validity of both the McKinnon complementarity hypothesis and the Shaw debt intermediation model in relation to Trinidad and Tobago. These two models purport that persuasive government intervention and involvement in the financial system through the regulatory and supervisory network, particularly in controlling interest rates and allocation of credit, tend to distort financial markets. Therefore, by the removal of administrative controls on the assets portfolio and pricing behaviour of financial institutions, interest rates will rise to levels that will result not only in increased savings and loanable funds but also in a more efficient allocation of these funds, providing, in turn, stimuli for economic growth. Utilising the cointegration approach, the empirical analysis is conducted with annual data from 1970 to 2001. The empirical results support both the McKinnon complementarity hypothesis and the Shaw debt intermediation hypothesis in the long run. That is to say, real interest rates have a significant influence on savings in the long run. However, the results indicate that the real interest rate plays an insignificant role in the Error Correction Model in the short run for both the McKinnon and Shaw theories. Hence, this article provides empirical validity for the McKinnon–Shaw financial liberalisation theory in Trinidad and Tobago over the long run. Thus policy makers should take explicit account of this result in the formulation of financial policy. The sustainability of this policy, however, depends on the appropriateness of other fiscal, monetary incomes and exchange rate policies.

Resumen

Polytypic programming is a way of defining type-indexed operations, such as map, fold and zip, based on type information. Run-time polytypic programming allows that type information to be dynamically computed – this support is essential in modern programming languages that support separate compilation, first-class type abstraction, or polymorphic recursion. However, in previous work we defined run-time polytypic programming with a type-passing semantics. Although it is natural to define polytypic programs as operating over first-class types, such a semantics suffers from a number of drawbacks. This paper describes how to recast that work in a type-erasure semantics, where terms represent type information in a safe manner. The resulting language is simple and easy to implement – we present a prototype implementation of the necessary machinery as a small Haskell library.

Resumen

This paper analyzes the determinants of domestic private investment in Pakistan using long time series data for the period 1982 to 2012. The conventional variable such as output is not significant in explaining the domestic private investment but the interest rate has significant negative effect on private investment in the long run. The results of the study confirm the validity of crowding in hypothesis and debt overhang hypothesis for Pakistan. This study did not find any support for Mackinnon-Shaw hypothesis. The improvement in law and order condition and existence of democratic political regime in the country has significant positive effect on domestic private investment in the long run. The focus on non-conventional variables could restore investors’ confidence and may result in the recovery of domestic private investment in the country.

Resumen

The objective was to assess the safety and outcome of cold snare technique used by flexible bronchoscopy in the treatment of airway benign neoplasms. The clinical data of 21 patients, who had airway benign neoplasm and were treated through the cold snare method in Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, affiliated with the Zhejiang University, were retrospectively analyzed. The relief of the symptoms and occurrence of complications were observed and evaluated. All the tumors were benign and removed by cold snare. Postoperatively, we found that the treatment was completely effective in 12 patients, and there was a significant improvement in 7 patients and a moderate improvement in 2 patients, and no recurrence in follow-up visit. In conclusion, the cold snare technique is an economically feasible, safe, and effective method in the treatment of airway neoplasms.

Abstract After a number of aborted attempts to secure distribution and exhibition in the West in the 1950s and 60s, producers of the Chinese cinema came to understand that film festival prizes, which had been the Japanese model, were not going to work for them. Instead, early attempts were made to break into the US market via an exhibition in New York. The commercial distribution of Hong Kong’s commercially-oriented martial arts movies in the 1970’s satisfied the long-standing desire of producer Run Run Shaw for success in the West, but hardly provided a similar opportunity for the more specialized auteur-cinema of the Mainland and Taiwan in the 1980s. Instead, the New York Film Festival emerged as the premier showcase for Fifth Generation Chinese filmmakers and the New Cinema of Taiwan, along with the Art cinema of Hong Kong’s Wong Kar-wai.

For better utilization of computing resources, it is important to consider parallel programming environments in which the number of available processors varies at run-time. In this article, we discuss run-time support for data-parallel programming in such an adaptive environment. Executing programs in an adaptive environment requires redistributing data when the number of processors changes, and also requires determining new loop bounds and communication patterns for the new set of processors. We have developed a run-time library to provide this support. We discuss how the run-time library can be used by compilers of high-performance Fortran (HPF)-like languages to generate code for an adaptive environment. We present performance results for a Navier-Stokes solver and a multigrid template run on a network of workstations and an IBM SP-2. Our experiments show that if the number of processors is not varied frequently, the cost of data redistribution is not significant compared to the time required for the actual computation. Overall, our work establishes the feasibility of compiling HPF for a network of nondedicated workstations, which are likely to be an important resource for parallel programming in the future.

We consider the flow of instantaneous releases of a finite volume of viscous fluid in a narrow vertical fracture or Hele-Shaw cell, when there is a still narrower vertical crack in the horizontal base of the cell. The predominant motion is over the horizontal surface, but fluid also drains through the crack, progressively diminishing the volume of the current in the fracture. When the crack is shallow on the scale of the current, it saturates immediately with the draining fluid. In this case, we obtain an exact analytical solution for the motion. When the crack is deeper and does not saturate immediately, we calculate numerically the motion of the fluid in both the fracture and the crack. In each case the current advances to a finite run-out length and then retreats: we describe both phases of the motion and characterize the run-out length in terms of the controlling parameters.

Student-run Facebook groups offer librarians a new means of interacting with students in their native digital domain. Facebook groups, a service launched in 2010 enables university students to create a virtual forum to discuss their concerns, issues, and promote events. While still a relatively new feature, these groups are increasingly being utilized by students in universities and colleges throughout North America. Little research has been done on these groups and how they may be changing the way that students interact with each other and with their university on social media. A student-run university Facebook group was monitored for a year to measure library content and types of engagement. The purpose of this research was to systematically explore whether outreach to these new virtual forums are of value to librarians in term of effort and outcome, and to provide research-based insight into the best practices for librarians when confronted with similar unofficial student-run Facebook groups. Our findings suggest that library employees strategically focus on key periods during the semester and use photographs and contests to increase virtual engagement and spontaneous in-library event participation. Students used the Facebook group both as a source for library information and to thoroughly answer their peers’ general library questions; when confronted with more research-based questions, the students referred each other to the library for help. We conclude, that library outreach on a student-run university Facebook group is manageable and can complement in-house marketing and reference efforts.

Purpose This paper aims to concentrate on reviewing articles on open source software (OSS), found on the internet, that were published in the year 2016. Design/methodology/approach A critical look is taken at OSS generally as found in the literature and also on the commonly used OSS in libraries and information science work or research work. Findings It is hoped that this review will assist in pointing out the trends and aid in informed decision-making, as it concerns OSS. Social implications Akintomide (2016) described OSS as a part of human existence which is exhibited in mobile devices that run on the android operating system, to computers, laptops and servers that run on the Linux operating system, to other software (Library management software inclusive) that are open access. Originality/value The openness of it makes the users (libraries and scholars) leave documentation that steers how the open software technologies are implemented and by whom. They are free, have used communities, are vetted by users and are constantly in development.

The security of lattice-based cryptosystems is based on solving hard lattice problems such as the shortest vector problem (SVP) and the closest vector problem (CVP). Various cryptanalysis algorithms such as (Pro)GaussSieve, HashSieve, ENUM, and BKZ have been proposed to solve these hard problems. Several implementations of these algorithms have been developed. On the other hand, the implementations of these algorithms are expected to be efficient in terms of run time and memory space. In this paper, a modular software package/library containing efficient implementations of GaussSieve, ProGaussSieve, HashSieve, and BKZ algorithms is developed. These implementations are considered efficient in terms of run time. While constructing this software library, some modifications to the algorithms are made to increase the performance. Then, the run times of these implementations are compared with the others. According to the experimental results, the proposed GaussSieve, ProGaussSieve, and HashSieve implementations are at least 70%, 75%, and 49% more efficient than previous ones, respectively.

Resumen

The direct slicing software of three-dimensional model which can be run in the Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0 environment is successfully developed. The method is the use of the secondary development tool Pro/TOOLKIT, which is used in Visual Studio 2008, using VC++ language to write the dynamic link library files which can run in the Pro/E environment. The software realizes not only the function that direct slicing on three-dimensional models, but also the generation of NC code file through the use of custom class on slice and the Standard Template Library which save the three-dimensional contour data of each slice.

OBJECTIVE: To find a method which can establish arithmetic library of signal process based on PDA, and apply the method to process the EEG signal, and though function of the Mathworks Matlab R2010a is very large, there is currently no MATLAB version for PDA, In order to surpass the limited arithmetic on PDA, the arithmetic of Mathworks Matlab R2010a must be converted to C# language. METHOD: Several signal processing methods can convert the arithmetic function in Mathworks Matlab R2010a to arithmetic library of signal process with C# language, which is resort to every line function of Mathworks Matlab R2010a. RESULT: Three signal process functions have been converted to arithmetic library of signal process which can run on .net framework. CONCLUSION: Because of the limit of memory and instructor on PDA, there is impossible that the arithmetic of Mathworks Matlab R2010a run on PDA, therefore the arithmetic has been converted to arithmetic library of signal process with C# language.

Next-generation sequencing platforms are powerful technologies, providing gigabases of genetic information in a single run. An important prerequisite for high-throughput DNA sequencing is the development of robust and cost-effective preprocessing protocols for DNA sample library construction. Here we report the development of a semi-automated sample preparation protocol to produce adaptor-ligated fragment libraries. Using a liquid-handling robot in conjunction with Carboxy Terminated Magnetic Beads, we labeled each library sample using a unique 6 bp DNA barcode, which allowed multiplex sample processing and sequencing of 32 libraries in a single run using Applied Biosystems' SOLiD sequencer. We applied our semi-automated pipeline to targeted medical resequencing of nuclear candidate genes in individuals affected by mitochondrial disorders. This novel method is capable of preparing as much as 32 DNA libraries in 2.01 days (8-hour workday) for emulsion PCR/high throughput DNA sequencing, increasing sample preparation production by 8-fold.

LHCb has been using the CERN/IT developed Conditions Database library COOL for several years, during LHC Run 1 and Run 2. With the opportunity window of the second long shutdown of LHC, in preparation for Run 3 and the upgraded LHCb detector, we decided to investigate alternatives to COOL as Conditions Database backend. In particular, given our conditions and detector description data model, we investigated the possibility of reusing the internal Git repository database as a conditions storage, and we adopted it since 2017 data taking. The adoption of Git gave us improved performance, smaller storage size and simplified maintenance and deployment. In this paper we describe the implementation of our Git Conditions Database and the way it simplified our detector description and conditions development workflow.

In the 19th century it was difficult for the growing number of medical practitioners in North America to access current medical literature. Various ways were suggested to solve this problem; one of them was the creation of physician-run medical library associations. After other failed attempts, Ontario physicians formed the Ontario Medical Library Association (OMLA) in 1887. In 1907 the OMLA became the nucleus of the Academy of Medicine, Toronto.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to examine the relevance of information, transparency and information efficiency in short-run performance of new issues. The current research evaluates the short-run performance of IPOs during 2005-2012, which even includes the recessionary period. The present study evaluates the impact of informational variables on first-day returns. Design/methodology/approach The short-run performance of the IPOs is measured through market adjusted excess return. A structural equation model (SEM) has been designed to identify how information influences the short-run performance of IPOs. Findings The results of structural model reveal that the sale of promoters’ stake and underwriters’ reputation are the major contributors towards information and are found to be highly significant statistically. The model also shows that the issue size (a component of information) is statistically insignificant at 5 per cent. The model suggests that the availability of information has negative impact on the first day returns indicating that the issuer which disclose maximum information to the public get lower returns on the listing day and hence, their issues are less underpriced. Originality/value The present study has a contribution in investment decisions for global investors, as the participation of international investors is common in IPOs of emerging markets. The findings of the study are expected to be useful to the practitioners in predicting the pricing of IPOs based on the informational variables influencing their performance.

And so with payroll and payment operating, it takes a proper system to run its activities. Thus, the company will be able to avoid possible risks during transactions. This research is aimed at investigating how the application of payroll system and to determine if the existing system helps the management in controlling its payroll and payment system. This is a descriptive research using primary data such as interviews with management and secondary data. Data are collected using observation technique, interviews and library research. The result concludes that the company has run a proper system in its payroll and thus helped the management to control its payroll and payment system.

I found myself laughing at the baffled faces of my library volunteers the first morning of our newly formed preschool reading time, Destination Library Tails.I warned them that we would have a lot of people show up. These two volunteers had jumped at the chance to head an ongoing preschool reading time—one that could take place in the morning for parents with small children and for homeschool families. I was thrilled to have someone in the community who cared enough to dedicate two days a month to providing this service, especially because it would be an ongoing program. I just needed them to trust me when I said a lot of kids would show up.

While the RUN bibliographic utility fully supports display and search capabilities of Hebrew script in bibliographic records, its card program is not able to produce cards that include Hebrew script. Hebrew Union College Library commissioned the writing of software to utilize existing RLIN functions to download Hebrew script records for local card production. However, modifications of the records are required to accommodate the idiosyncrasies of both RLIN and the local software.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to propose an approach for identifying landmark papers in the long run. These publications reach a very high level of citation impact and are able to remain on this level across many citing years. In recent years, several studies have been published which deal with the citation history of publications and try to identify landmark publications. Design/methodology/approach In contrast to other studies published hitherto, this study is based on a broad data set with papers published between 1980 and 1990 for identifying the landmark papers. The authors analyzed the citation histories of about five million papers across 25 years. Findings The results of this study reveal that 1,013 papers (less than 0.02 percent) are “outstandingly cited” in the long run. The cluster analyses of the papers show that they received the high impact level very soon after publication and remained on this level over decades. Only a slight impact decline is visible over the years. Originality/value For practical reasons, approaches for identifying landmark papers should be as simple as possible. The approach proposed in this study is based on standard methods in bibliometrics.

Introduction: Bloodstream infections (BSIs) are serious diseases associated with high mortality, especially when caused by extensively drug-resistant (XDR) Klebsiella pneumoniae. The prevalence and pandemic strains of extended-spectrum beta-lactamase (ESBL)-producing K. pneumoniae isolated from blood cultures of patients with BSIs were determined at Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, China. Methodology: A total of 24 XDR K. pneumoniae were isolated from blood cultures, and the clinical data of the patients were analyzed retrospectively. Bacterial species identification and antimicrobial susceptibility testing were performed using VITEK2 and E-test methods, respectively. Common ESBL-resistant genes were amplified and sequenced after the validation of a modified Hodge test. Strain homology was also analyzed by pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE). Results: All of the isolates were resistant to 10 antimicrobial agents. Several strains showed partial sensitivity to aminoglycosides, but all showed sensitivity to polymyxin and tigecycline. All strains were Klebsiella pneumoniae carbapenemase (KPC-2) producing, and carried two or three ESBL-resistant genes, which belonged to 13 PFGE clones (A–M). The overall mortality rate in patients was as high as 29.2%. Conclusions: KPC-2-producing K. pneumoniae BSIs are associated with high mortality rates. Our observations suggest that KPC-2 and ESBL-producing K. pneumoniae might be responsible for the clonal dissemination of extensively drug-resistant isolates in our hospital.

Objective. This study adopts the method of retrospective analysis to collect general information and laboratory results of physical examination population, hoping to clarify the correlation between uric acid and thyroid hormone. Methods. The subjects of the study were healthy subjects who underwent physical examination at the Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital affiliated to the Medical College of Zhejiang University from January 2016 to December 2018. Demographic information and medical history of all subjects were recorded through an electronic health system. Serum uric acid (SUA) was grouped by quartiles. Statistical analyses were performed with R version 3.5.1. Results. A total of 48,526 subjects were included in the analysis. Gender ratio, age, BMI, waist circumference, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, FBG, HbA1c, TG, HDL-C, ALT, AST, FT3, FT4, and TSH were significantly different among the uric acid groups. The regression coefficients of SUA in the TSH, FT3, and FT4 regression models were B=1.000 (95% CI 1.000-1.000, p=0.009), B=0.999 (95% CI 0.999-0.999, p<0.001), and B=1.001 (95% CI 1.001-1.001, p<0.001), respectively. There was a significant dose-dependent relationship between FT4, FT3, and SUA gradient. Conclusions. Under normal thyroid function, there were significant differences in TSH, FT3, and FT4 between groups with different uric acid levels. Uric acid levels were linearly correlated with FT3 and FT4, but not with TSH.

IntroductionSepsis commonly results in acute kidney injury (AKI), whereas about 50% of AKI cases are due to sepsis. Sepsis-associated acute kidney injury (SA-AKI) increases morbidity and mortality especially among critically ill patients. This study aims to monitor renal microcirculation perfusion during sepsis using contrast-enhanced ultrasonography (CEUS), and to explore whether CEUS is useful for predicting the development of SA-AKI.Methods and analysisThis prospective observational study will enrol patients who were diagnosed with sepsis-3 definition. The total of septic or septic shock patients were stratified into AKI (including stages 1, 2 and 3) and non-AKI groups according to Kidney Disease Improving Global Outcomes criteria on days 0, 1, 2 and 7 after admission to the emergency intensive care unit, meanwhile, the CEUS technique will be performed to monitor renal microcirculation perfusion. A multivariable model including all CEUS variables were expected to create for predicting the development of AKI during sepsis. Ultrasonography results, demographic information, therapeutic interventions, survival outcomes, laboratory and other clinical datas will also be collected for further analysis.Ethics and disseminationThe study protocol was approved on 2 August 2017 by the Ethics Committee of Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital (Zhejiang University Medical College) (approval number: 2016C91401). The results will be published in a peer-reviewed journal and shared with the worldwide medical community within 2 years after the start of the recruitment.Trial registration numberISRCTN14728986

AbstractWe evaluated the factors associated with inpatient costs including total costs, pharmaceutical costs and laboratory costs for diabetes-related admissions.Using data for 960 adult patients admitted between May 2005 and April 2008 with a primary or secondary diagnosis of type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) at Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital affiliated with Zhejiang University Medical School (SRRSH) in Hangzhou, China, we evaluate the association between patient characteristics and inpatient costs with multivariable regression analyses.Total inpatient costs were positively associated with age, higher UKPDS stroke risk score, and presence of any complication. A regression that included patient socioeconomic and clinical characteristics explained 21.5% of the variation in total inpatient costs; regression estimates indicate that patients with coronary artery disease, retinopathy, nephropathy, neuropathy, and diabetic foot had inpatient costs that were respectively 93.7%, 14.0%, 17.5%, 11.5% and 89.0% higher than otherwise similar patients without those complications. Pharmaceutical costs did not differ by insurance coverage. Insured patients spent 7–16% more on laboratory tests than otherwise similar patients did.Clinical factors, especially presence of diabetes-related complications, appear to be the primary determinants of variation in inpatient costs for patients with type 2 DM in China. To mitigate the health costs increases associated with China’s DM epidemic, policymakers should focus on cost-effective ways to manage patients in outpatient settings to prevent the complications associated with diabetes.

AbstractPurposeThe purpose of this research is to investigate the prognostic factors of patients with stage I gastric cancer (GC) and to determine whether adjuvant chemotherapy improves the prognosis for high-risk patients.MethodsWe performed a retrospective analysis at Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine, and HwaMei Hospital, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences from January 2001 to December 2015. Cox regression and Kaplan-Meier were used to evaluate the relationship between the patients’ clinicopathologic characteristics and prognosis.ResultsA total of 1,550 patients were eligible for the study. The 5-year disease-free survival (DFS) rate of all enrolled patients was 96.5%. The pT and pN stages were significantly associated with the prognosis. The 5-year DFS rates of the three subgroups (T1N0, T2N0, and T1N1) were 97.8%, 95.7%, and 90.5%, respectively (p < 0.001). In the T1N1 subgroup, patients not undergoing chemotherapy showed a lower 5-year DFS rate compared to those undergoing chemotherapy, although the difference was not statistically significant.ConclusionsBoth the pT and pN stages were closely associated with the prognosis of patients with stage I GC. We also found that the danger coefficient of the pN stage was higher than that of the pT stage, and that postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy might be a reasonable approach to improve outcomes of high-risk patients, particularly in the T1N1 group.

Objective This study was designed to explore the relationships between the clinical characteristics and outcomes of patients with subacute thyroiditis (SAT). Design This is a single-center retrospective study. Patients Eighty-nine patients with SAT who were hospitalized in the Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital in Zhejiang, China, from October 2014 to September 2020 were included. Methods The Mann–Whitney U-test, chi-square test, and Cox regression analysis were conducted to identify the relationships between clinical characteristics and outcomes. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) analysis was performed to determine the optimal cutoff levels of C-reactive protein (CRP) and thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH). Results The hypothyroidism and recurrence rates were 15.7 and 16.9%, respectively. CRP (≥72.0 mg/L), TSH (<0.02 mIU/L), and free triiodothyronine (fT3) (≥4.10 pg/mL) were associated with hypothyroidism. The cutoff level was 97.80 mg/L for CRP (area under the curve (AUC), 0.717, P = 0.014; sensitivity, 57.1%; specificity, 84.0%) and 0.10 mIU/L for TSH (AUC, 0.752, P = 0.004; sensitivity, 100%; specificity, 46.0%) by ROC curve analysis for hypothyroidism. The factors under study were not associated with recurrence. Conclusion CRP and TSH were risk factors for hypothyroidism in SAT. Thyroid functions should be monitored closely for the early detection of hypothyroidism, especially in patients with CRP levels of more than 97.80 mg/L and TSH levels of less than 0.10 mIU/L.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate respondents' reactions to the messages that called for peace from the Daily Nation newspaper in the run-up to the 2013 elections in Kenya. The study relied on descriptive research design, which is a design in qualitative research and premised on Agenda Setting theory by McCombs and Donald Shaw. The study population consisted of respondents from four marked newspaper-vending points within Nakuru town and the selected contents from the Nation newspapers. These newspapers carried messages advocating for peace between the periods of February and April 2013. Purposive sampling was used to choose newspaper contents with peace messages and to select newspaper readers in Nakuru town. Focused Group Discussions and Interviews were used as research instruments. Content and textual analysis was the primary form of data analysis in the study. Research findings showed that Nation newspapers carried peace messages in news and feature stories, editorials, opinion and advertisements. The conclusions of the study show that although media experts and scholars accused the media of ‘indulging’ in peace advocacy and forgetting their watchdog role, the respondents praised the role media played in ensuring after the poll calm, peaceful coexistence and tolerance.

Started in February 2014, ELINET project run for 2 years including 28 European countries. It aimed to analyse and consult on literacy policies at a local, regional, national, and trans-national level, raising awareness of literacy issues and coordinating campaigns. Ultimately, the fruit of this network was to include a European framework of good practice in raising literacy levels and a sample of corresponding examples. The paper is to present the way good practices were collected and reviewed; and introduces a good practice (run by John von Neumann University Pedagogical Faculty, “Reading belongs to everyone, even to you!”) based on the ELINET good practice framework.

The investigation was to study the effect of laminar-turbulent transition on predicting thermal load of vane. The Abu-Ghannam and Shaw (AGS) algebraic transition model was applied in the coupled solver, HIT3D. Then the solver was employed to carry out coupled heat transfer simulations, and the test case was 5411 run of NASA0-MARKⅡ vane, a high-pressure turbine vane. The results shown that AGS model was able to predict the transition process in the boundary layer near the vane, and that the simulation with such model leads to thermal load agreeing well the measured one. Then the developed solver was applied to predict a low-pressure vane, and the results shown that CHT simulation with full turbulence model would predict higher thermal load than that with transition model.

Sharing electronic resources is the theme of greatest interest today in university libraries, where various initiatives are aimed at setting up consortia to purchase licenses and run digital products.
