The genetic background of the immune response of rye to leaf rust (LR), although extensively studied, is still not well understood. The recent publication of the genome of rye line Lo7 and the development of efficient transcriptomic methods has aided the search for genes that confer resistance to this disease. In this study, we investigated the potential role of rye orthologs of wheat Lr genes (Lr1, Lr10, Lr21, Lr22a, and RGA2/T10rga2-1A) in the LR seedling-stage resistance of inbred rye lines D33, D39, and L318. Bioinformatics analysis uncovered numerous Lr orthologs in the Lo7 genome, namely

In today’s environment, where energy is desired to be used more efficiently, it has been understood that the interest in the use of lightweight concrete with superior performance in terms of thermal insulation properties has increased. On the other hand, it has been stated that construction waste increases rapidly, especially after severe earthquakes. In this context, encouraging the use of recycled concrete waste and efficient disposal of construction and demolition waste is of great importance for the European Green Deal. The first cooldown of the Linac with the cryogenic system was started from September, 2022 and their temperature was reached at 2.05 K in January, 2023. The first cooldown was successfully completed and the static and dynamic heat

SLC5A1, CCNA1, and ABCC1 have been extensively studied as candidate genes because of their great influence on the reproductive traits of animals. However, little is known about the association between polymorphisms of the SLC5A1, CCNA1, and ABCC1 genes and litter size in Small-Tail Han sheep. In this study, the expression levels of SLC5A1, CCNA1, and ABCC1 in HPG (hypothalamic–pituitary–gonadal) axis tissues of polytocous and monotocous Small-Tail Han sheep were analyzed by qPCR. To better understand the effects of four single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) comprising of g.70067210 T > C i

Resumen
Dietary supplementation with propylene glycol (PG) increases in vitro production of high-quality embryos in feed-restricted heifers. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the effects of PG in feed-restricted heifers on follicular fluid insulin and insulin-like growth factor (IGF) 1 concentrations, expression of IGF system genes in oocytes and cumulus cells and the expression of selected genes in blastocysts. Feed-restricted (R) heifers were drenched with water or PG during induced oestrous cycles (400 mL of PG or water/drench, daily drenching at 1600 hours for the first 9 days of the oe

Resumen
Lilium is one of the most widely cultivated ornamental bulbous plants in the world. Although research has shown that variable temperature treatments can accelerate the development process from vegetative to reproductive growth in Lilium, the molecular regulation mechanisms of this development are not clear. In this study, Lbr-miR171b and its target gene, LbrSCL6, were selected and validated using transgenic functional verification, subcellular localization, and transcriptional activation. This study also investigated the differential expression of Lbr-miR171b and LbrSCL6 in two temperature tre

(1) Introduction: Quetiapine (QTP) is a dibenzothiazepine derivative, a second generation antipsychotic (AP), which is structurally similar to clozapine. The main indications for use are schizophrenia and depressive disorder. Under manic episodes in bipolar disorder can be used alone or in combination with lithium. The frequency of prescribing QTP is on average 11,987 per 100,000 population, with a positive trend in dynamics: a growth rate of more than 800% within the period 2002 to 2017.(2) Purpose: The review of studies of pharmacogenetic pharmacokinetic and pharmacogenetic pharmacodynamic m

Resumen
Simple sequence repeats (SSRs) are widely used as markers for the assessment of genetic diversity and marker-assisted breeding. In a previous study, two SSRs (GCA and CCA), were found in the genomic sequence of Larix (La) SCL6, which plays important roles in the growth and development of Larix kaempferi (Lamb.) Carr. In this study, we analyzed the polymorphisms of these two SSRs in the L. kaempferi population. We found that each SSR had five different polymorphisms, among which (GCA)7 and (CCA)7 were predominant. In addition, 12 haplotypes were detected, with (GCA)7(CCA)7 having the highest fr
