The mite superfamily Rhodacaroidea is a member of the order Mesostigmata. The families Digamasellidae Evans, Halolaelapidae Karg, Laelaptonyssidae Womersley, Ologamasidae Ryke, Rhodacaridae Oudemans and Teranyssidae Halliday constitute this superfamily.
