Resumen
We study the hierarchy of hidden space–time symmetries of noncritical strings in RNS formalism, realized nonlinearly. Under these symmetry transformations the variation of the matter part of the RNS action is canceled by that of the ghost part. These symmetries, referred to as the α-symmetries, are induced by special space–time generators, violating the equivalence of ghost pictures. We classify the α-symmetry generators in terms of superconformal ghost cohomologies Hn ~ H-n-2(n≥0) and associate these generators with a chain of hidden space–time dimensions, with each ghost cohomology Hn ~ H-n-2 "contributing" an extra dimension. Namely, we show that each ghost cohomology Hn ~ H-n-2 of noncritical superstring theory in d-dimensions contains d+n+1 α-symmetry generators and the generators from Hk ~ H-k-2, 1≤k ≤n, combined together, extend the space–time isometry group from the naive SO (d, 2) to SO (d+n, 2). In the simplest case of n = 1 the α-generators are identified with the extra symmetries of the 2T-physics formalism, also known to originate from a hidden space–time dimension.

Resumen
This study examines the hidden aspects of corruption from a network perspective. Through networking, we understand the nature and functioning of hidden corruption, because hidden corruption relates to various acts of corruption that are difficult to observe and prosecute legally. The dimensions to understand hidden corruption are structural and institutional corruption, distorted network, and grey corruption. Different types of illegal, criminal, or unethical networks are understood through two dimensions (structural and institutional corruption and distorted network) of hidden corruption. Grey corruption is another dimension of hidden corruption, but has no defined network existence. The main types of hidden, unethical and criminal networks that exist around the world are greed-oriented institutional network, old-boy network, and clandestine network. Emphases on digital expertise and reforms targeting attitudinal, cultural, legal, and institutional changes have been identified as ways of addressing the phenomenon of hidden corruption from a contemporary standpoint, because of emerging events/realities.

Resumen
Cross-cultural management research usually postulates that mutual expectations must be clearly assessed and that it is necessary for people from different cultural areas to share a common vision in order to efficiently collaborate. This research examines the link between intercultural understanding and relational efficiency by studying a “happy” and successful Franco-Latino-American case. It challenges the above-mentioned postulate and reveals that relational efficiency relies upon compatible positive understandings of a same situation rather than upon similar understandings, hence the notion of productive misunderstandings.

In the present paper, the bounds on fractal dimension of Coalescence Hidden-variable Fractal Interpolation Surface (CHFIS) in ℝ3 on a equispaced mesh are found. These bounds determine the conditions on the free parameters for fractal dimension of the constructed CHFIS to become close to 3. The results derived here are tested on a tsunami wave surface by computing the lower and upper bounds of the fractal dimension of its CHFIS simulation.

In advanced field theories, there can be more than four dimensions to space, the excess dimensions described as compacted and unobservable on everyday length scales. We report a simple model, unconnected to field theory, for a compacted dimension realized in a metallic metasurface periodically structured in the form of a grating comprising a series of singularities. An extra dimension of the grating is hidden, and the surface plasmon excitations, though localized at the surface, are characterized by three wave vectors rather than the two of typical two-dimensional metal grating. We propose an experimental realization in a doped graphene layer.

Resumen
Using Kaluza-Klein’s five-dimensional unified theory as an example, we show that when the metric depends on a hidden dimension, only a gauge-invariant combination of the charge and mass of a particle: Q2/16πG−M2, is a constant of motion, but not M and Q separately. This indicates that in a spacetime with hidden dimensions, the charge of a particle is not absolutely conserved. There are gauge-invariant charge nonconserving processes that change the particle’s charge and mass. Neutrino oscillations resulting from such processes may have relevance to the solar neutrino puzzle.

Resumen
An integrated school, like any educational institution, creates a specific field which is a combination of experiences of the people entering its area, the relations between them, attitudes and behaviours that affect both its “open” and “hidden” dimension. In this article the two dimensions are mentioned as: “integrated schools in Poland – formal assumption” and “integrated education in the hidden dimension of the school culture”. These different reviews of the problem generate different consequences for understanding these two dimensions. Effective integration of people with disabilities into society should be based on ensuring continuity of activities improving from the moment of disability, to becoming independent, and also to organize a system of broad support for the development of a child with disabilities. It is also important to reflect on the discrepancies that arise between how integration makes itself present in formal records and how to make the postulates look more realistic. Its highest level of social integration is accompanied to a great extent by “being with each other” and not “being beside”, the possibility of not only protecting and supporting the weaker, but also mutual exchange between disabled and non-disabled people.

Resumen
The influence of structural sealant on mechanical behavior of hidden frame curtain wall was analyzed by using uniform negative pressure tests. The glass panel used in hidden frame curtain specimen is monolithic toughened glass. The dimension of the glass panel is 1000mm×1000mm and its thickness is 6mm. The dimensions of structural sealant in the three specimens are 9mm×8mm, 12mm×8mm and 15mm×8mm respectively. Test results indicated that the maximal principle stress and deflection of every test point increased linearly with the increasing of the uniform load from 0.5kPa to 2.0kPa. The variable regulation of maximal principle stress and deflection was not linear relation with the increasing of adhesive width. Through test and result discussion, the size effect of structural sealant on the hidden frame curtain wall system was summarized.

Resumen
The hidden religion This article discusses the concepts of religion and belief in contemporary everyday understanding and in the science of religion. The article outlines three different ways of understanding religion: religion as an awareness of ultimate values, religion as a system of ideas and a ritual practice and lastly religion as a social institutional domain in secular society. These three different dimensions of religion are compared to recent anthropological critique of reification of the concept of culture, and the article sug-gests that the study of religion in contemporary society offers special attention to the first dimension. In the tradition of Emile Durkheim and Thomas Luckmann, this focus allows special focus on modern, secular forms of reli-gion inside and outside traditional religious institutions. This point is illustrated with examples of different ways of believing in the Danish Luthern Evangelical Church. The examples show that there is a rich variety of (conflicting) ways of believing, which are hidden from studies that focus on the second and third dimension of religion

Resumen
Starting from the premise that the energy is vibrations in multiple dimensions, we propose the following energy circulation theory: Energy is the movement of an intrinsic energy, and can work as a new intrinsic energy for the direction perpendicular to the original movement. The fundamental force works between two momentums, by which antiparallel energy movements bend and make a circle. A form of the fundamental force is the electric force working on the electric charge, which is the momentum in a hidden dimension. Simultaneous separations of two pairs of conjugate energy circulations provide two universes, where the energy distribution is expanding in four dimensions. We divide the energy into two parts. The space energy is a rest energy corresponding to the vacuum space. The apparent energy is the kinetic energy and what we detect as energy in the 3D space. We induce the electric charge, light and electromagnetism from an energy circulation in one hidden and one space dimensions.

Resumen
Recently Barron (1993) has given rates for hidden layer feedforward networks with sigmoid activation functions approximating a class of functions satisfying a certain smoothness condition. These rates do not depend on the dimension of the input space. We extend Barron's results to feedforward networks with possibly nonsigmoid activation functions approximating mappings and their derivatives simultaneously. Our conditions are similar but not identical to Barron's, but we obtain the same rates of approximation, showing that the approximation error decreases at rates as fast as n−1/2, where n is the number of hidden units. The dimension of the input space appears only in the constants of our bounds.

Resumen
Abstract A problem of simultaneous dimension reduction and identification of hidden attractive manifolds in multidimensional data with noise is considered. The problem is approached in two consecutive steps: (i) embedding the original data in a sufficiently high-dimensional extended space in a way proposed by Takens in his embedding theorem, followed by (ii) a minimization of the residual functional. The residual functional is constructed to measure the distance between the original data in extended space and their reconstruction based on a low-dimensional description. The reduced representation of the analyzed data results from projection onto a fixed number of unknown low-dimensional manifolds. Two specific forms of the residual functional are proposed, defining two different types of essential coordinates: (i) localized essential orthogonal functions (EOFs) and (ii) localized functions called principal original components (POCs). The application of the framework is exemplified both on a Lorenz attractor model with measurement noise and on historical air temperature data. It is demonstrated how the new method can be used for the elimination of noise and identification of the seasonal low-frequency components in meteorological data. An application of the proposed POCs in the context of the low-dimensional predictive models construction is presented.

Resumen
Although the quark model is widely accepted, it is unknown what the origin of the electric charge of a quark is and why the charge magnitudes are fractional and different among the [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] quarks. Here we propose a novel scheme for quantum particles independent of quantum chromodynamics and quarks. We previously reported the energy circulation theory, in which the fundamental force works between antiparallel energy movements based on momentums, and forms an energy circulation. The electric charge is the momentum in the hidden dimension of an energy circulation in hidden–space dimensions. In this paper, we examine the interactions between energy circulations precisely covering the whole range of distance, and derive formulas for strong and weak nuclear interactions. The strong force is an inter-circulation interaction by the fundamental force. The weak interaction is an orthogonal separation of an energy circulation in space–space dimensions to two halves. A quantum particle consists of one or plural energy circulations in a unit space of radius of the lowest-frequency hidden dimension. We propose the respective compositions of energy circulations for major particles so that they as much conform to reported decays, spin and rest-mass values. This new model of particles provides potential solutions to unexplained issues from the Standard Model as follows: The new model presents the theoretical origin of the electric charge and its elementary charge. Because elementary components of hadrons are energy circulations instead of quarks, it is not required to introduce a fractional electric charge. A composition of elementary energy circulations for a quantum particle shows its electric charge and mass (rest energy) by the addition of those of elements. Furthermore, the model successfully exhibits strong and weak nuclear interactions as well as the electric force.

Resumen
It is necessary to develop a non-destructive technique for kiwifruit quality analysis because the machine injury could lower the quality of fruit and incur economic losses. Bruises are not visible externally owing to the special physical properties of kiwifruit peel.We proposed the hyperspectral imaging technique to inspect the hidden bruises on kiwifruit. The Vis/NIR (408–1117 nm) hyperspectral image data was collected. Multiple optimal wavelength (682, 723, 744, 810, and 852 nm) images were obtained using principal component analysis on the high dimension spectral image data (wavelength range from 600 nm to 900 nm). The bruise regions were extracted from the component images of the five waveband images using RBF-SVM classification. The experimental results showed that the error of hidden bruises detection on fruits by means of hyperspectral imaging was 12.5%. It was concluded that the multiple optimal waveband images could be used to constructs a multispectral detection system for hidden bruises on kiwifruits.

Resumen
We propose a scenario of gauge–string correspondence by relating the SU(3) color group to hidden space–time isometries originating from extra dimensions. These isometries (α-symmetries) are the special symmetries of RNS superstring theories under global nonlinear space–time transformations. The vertex operators for the octet of gluons are constructed by the procedure of "photon painting," that is, with the SU(3) subgroup of the α-symmetry generators acting on a regular open string photon, so the corresponding open string excitations are in the adjoint of SU(3). Remarkably, the operator algebra of these massless gluon vertices is closed and possesses the full zigzag symmetry, crucial for the isomorphism between open strings and QCD. As a result, the scattering amplitudes of the constructed open string vertex operators have a field-theoretic rather than a stringy structure, including the absence of standard tower of massive intermediate states. Our model also suggests that the total number of underlying hidden dimensions is three, with each extra dimension carrying its appropriate SU(3) color and anticolor.

Resumen
This article investigates a non-equilibrium chaotic system in view of commensurate and incommensurate fractional orders and with only one signum function. By varying some values of the fractional-order derivative together with some parameter values of the proposed system, different dynamical behaviors of the system are explored and discussed via several numerical simulations. This system displays complex hidden dynamics such as inversion property, chaotic bursting oscillation, multistabilty, and coexisting attractors. Besides, by means of adapting certain controlled constants, it is shown that this system possesses a three-variable offset boosting system. In conformity with the performed simulations, it also turns out that the resultant hidden attractors can be distributively ordered in a grid of three dimensions, a lattice of two dimensions, a line of one dimension, and even arbitrariness in the phase space. Through considering the Caputo fractional-order operator in all performed simulations, phase portraits in two- and three-dimensional projections, Lyapunov exponents, and the bifurcation diagrams are numerically reported in this work as beneficial exit results.

Resumen
In her thought-provoking article, Aneta Pavlenko approaches emotion and emotion-laden words in the bilingual lexicon from an impressive number of different perspectives. This is particularly welcome, since most models of linguistic structure do not account for emotional meanings in a systematic way. One exception worth mentioning, however, is Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL; Halliday, 1985/1994) with its broad division of functions into the textual, ideational and interpersonal metafunctions. Whereas the textual metafunction is concerned with the flow of information and the ideational with the construction of experience, the interpersonal function is concerned with interaction between people including the sharing of feelings. Recently, this last aspect has been developed more on the basis of SFL within Appraisal theory (Martin and White 2005), where attitudinal meanings are divided into Affect (the construal of emotion into the frame I feel (very) __), Judgment (social/moral evaluation of people) and Appreciation (aesthetic evaluation of things). The theory has primarily been applied to the development of the expression of feeling and evaluation in student writing in schools, based on qualitative analysis of corpora. The framework has also recently been applied to other languages than English as in Folkeryd (2006), who shows how the expression of affect and other evaluative resources are used in various story genres by Swedish students in grades 5, 8 and 11. The expression of attitudinal meanings turned out to be a problem characteristic of low-achieving students. This study includes bilingual students but they are not focused on in the published work.
