Against the backdrop of the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei, it is of great significance to explore the space-time distribution characteristics of high haze pollution industries in the above region. The purpose of this article is to find high haze pollution industries scientifically, analyze the spatial distribution characteristics of high haze pollution industries in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei correctly, and formulate effective reduction measures for the spatial distribution of high haze

To study development of low-carbon city has significant meaning for transformation of city in China. This paper takes the DPSIR model as the basis to construct a low-carbon city evaluation index system in Beijing-tianjin-hebei region. By constructing the compound fuzzy matter-element, using the entropy weight method and formula of Euclid approach degree, calculates the closeness of low-carbon city from 2007 to 2011 in Beijing-tianjin-hebei region. The results showed that low-carbon city development in Beijing is better than it in Tianjin and Hebei, however, considering the component, some ques

In 2020, during the 75th United Nations General Assembly, China proposed the goal of “achieving a carbon peak by 2030 and achieving carbon neutrality by 2060”. The Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region is the largest carbon emission metropolitan area in China. Its energy consumption and carbon emission status means the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region shoulders the important task of low-carbon transformation. Only by achieving a “carbon peak” and “carbon neutrality” can the economy of the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region be sustainable. Based on this, we analyzed and comprehensively evaluated the complete abil

In order to promote the green and low-carbon development of transportation in China and provide scientific guidance for green transportation construction, this paper adopts the pressure-state-response theory to construct a PSR model applicable to the development of urban green transportation system, and uses the statistical data of Tianjin, China, and assigns weights to each index with the help of entropy value method, which reasonably and accurately reflects the importance of evaluation indexes. And provides some suggestions for Tianjin transportation development.

On 12 August 2015, Tianjin port, Tianjin City, China, a catastrophic explosion of Ruihai International Logistics Co., Ltd. (Tianjin, China) killed 173 and hurt almost 798 people, accompanying a financial loss of almost USD 2 billion. The ignition of the first fire due to the autocatalytic decomposition of nitrocellulose was verified by differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) isothermal tests. A crater with a diameter of 97 m was created by the second explosion. For the second catastrophic explosion, an amount of 577 tons of trinitrotoluene was determined by the average through scaling law, cra

Abstract Through a questionnaire survey of non-local university students, this study examined direct language attitudes of English, Putonghua, and local dialects in the first-tier city Guangzhou, second-tier city Tianjin, and small city Yan’an. The significance of this study lies in two aspects: few of the previous studies examined language attitudes of non-local subjects; few of the previous studies compared attitudes toward three varieties across economically diverse cities. The study adopted Gardner & Lambert’s (1972) motivation theory to measure direct attitudes of the participants. Fi

Abstract. Rapid economic growth has given rise to a significant increase in ozone precursor emissions in many regions of China, especially in the densely populated North China Plain (NCP) and Yangtze River Delta (YRD). Improved understanding of ozone formation in response to different precursor emissions is imperative to address the highly nonlinear ozone problem and to provide a solid scientific basis for efficient ozone abatement in these regions. A comparative study on ozone photochemical production in summer has thus been carried out in the megacities of Tianjin (NCP) and Shanghai (YRD). T

Resumen
Abstract From the perspective of architectural research, globalization is often reduced to a merely recent phenomenon of construction firms and star architects operating worldwide today. This article argues for a global architectural history that examines the globally effective processes of exchange and circulation of capital, labor, and the increasingly unified standards of form, style, and material in building practice from a historical perspective as well: architectural globalization, therefore, can also be traced back, among other constellations, to a phase of an entanglement of the world

To investigate the characteristics of Bohai High, the daily precipitation data of Beijng-Tianjin region during June to September from 2006 to 2015, national basic automatic weather stations data of 5 minute, NCEP/NCAR 1°×1° reanalysis data as well as CINRAD/SA data of Tianjin, from the definition of and the distribution characteristics of precipitation in Beijng-Tianjin region, the concept of regional precipitation reduction in summer in the context of Bohai High was given. This was done by classifying large-scale synoptic circulation and synthetic diagnosis method. The results show that: (1)

This paper discusses how much the driving effect on CO2emissions caused by every influence factor in Tianjin of China. Based on STIRPAT model, the elasticity coefficient of the population (P), the affluence (A), the urbanization rate (UR) and the technological level (T) is 0.14, 1.55, 0.49 and-1.25. Combined the change rate of each influence factors 1995-2008 and the elasticity coefficient, the analysis shows that A, UR and P increase the amount of CO2emissions, T decreases the amount of CO2emissions, the size of influence factors driving effect on CO2emission in Tianjin is A>T>UR>P e
