Resumen
The aim of this research was to identify foreign tourist perception toward service of KutaMajelangu Market as an Attraction of community-based tourism. Foreign tourist’s perception was analyzed by Likert scale. This research used various approaches such as: social and culture, community based tourism, sustainable tourism, and perception theory. Respondents were taken from foreign tourist come from many countries such as Japan, Australia, China, America, Germany, Austria, Holland, and British, while the informants were taken from districts officers, around Kuta Village: such as the head of traditional village known as bendesa, head od subvillage/kelihan banjar, and Kuta community leaders. Data were taken from observation, Interview, questionnaire, and some documents. The results of this study revealed that perception of tourists toward the festival Market Majelangu Kuta as community-based tourist attraction for a variety of requirements had been fulfillment where starting from the land use, planning, management, preservation, benefit economically performed independently by local community. While the perception of tourists toward the activities and services of the Market Majelangu Kuta were well perceived by 79% percent of tourists

Resumen
Tourism in the Kuta District, located in southern Bali, Indonesia, is a phenomenal global commercial sector that continues to be the largest contributor to Indonesia’s tourism industry, and thereby also contributes to the overall gross national product (GNP) in Indonesia. Kuta’s world renowned tourist destination has its roots dating from the early 19th century, when at that time the island of Bali enticed tourists that had the unique Balinese cultural experiences at heart. Today, Kuta has many sectors of tourism including cultural tourism, nature tourism, shopping tourism and a distinct surfing history with international competitions. Considering that Kuta District leads Bali in cultural capital and tourism throughout the entire island of Bali, Indonesia, this paper will question: 1) how Kuta can continue to lead cultural tourism and remain dynamic in Bali, Indonesia, yet grow by means of socioeconomic communications 2) how the krama (member of traditional village) living in poverty can implement cultural tourism 3) discuss cultural tourism and joint efforts between larger governmental bodies that oversee sociological propaganda that might: strengthen artistic endeavors, preserve the unique identity of the Balinese people and satisfy tourists that still visit Bali with expectations of experiencing its native, original, highly artistic and cultural atmosphere, original cultural experience and atmosphere of what has become known as the unspoiled Bali of the 19th century.

Resumen
The perception stakeholders in the development of ecotourism in a destination is very important to learn. Alignment of perceptions of the stakeholders is needed to facilitate the implementation of various ecotourism activities. Differences in perception can be a barrier to the implementation of ecotourism development in Kubu Perahu tourist destination. This study aimed to determine the perceptions of three stakeholders (tourists, communities and managers) who will then be described in the form of polarization charts. Perceptions of stakeholders were obtained through questionnaire method (one score one indicator) and analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results of perceptions of stakeholders (tourists, communities and managers) in the development of ecotourism hospitality show a harmonious perception. Tourists have a good perception for all aspects of existing ecotourism hospitality in Kubu Perahu tourism. Communities and managers have a poor perception of one of the aspects of ecotourism hospitality in Kubu Perahu tourist destination is on the infrastructure aspect. The polarization of perceptions in general stakeholders (communities, tourists and managers) in the development of ecotourism hospitality shows a harmonious perception so that the form of symmetric polarization. It indicates that the management of tourism in Tourism Management Unit Kubu Perahu Taman Nasional Bukit Barisan Selatan (TNBBS) has been going well.Persepsi para pihak dalam pengembangan ekowisata di suatu destinasi sangat penting dipelajari. Keselarasan persepsi dari para pihak sangat dibutuhkan untuk memudahkan implementasi berbagai kegiatan ekowisata. Perbedaan persepsi dapat menjadi penghambat pelaksanaan pengembangan ekowisata di destinasi wisata Kubu Perahu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi tiga stakeholders (wisatawan, masyarakat dan pengelola) yang kemudian akan digambarkan dalam bentuk bagan polarisasi. Persepsi stakeholders didapatkan melalui metode kuesioner (one score one indicator) dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian persepsi stakeholders (wisatawan, masyarakat dan pengelola) dalam pengembangan hospitalitas ekowisata menunjukkan persepsi yang selaras. Wisatawan memiliki persepsi yang baik untuk semua aspek hospitalitas ekowisata yang ada di destinasi wisata Kubu Perahu. Masyarakat dan pengelola memiliki peresepsi yang kurang baik terhadap salah satu aspek hospitalitas ekowisata di destinasi wisata Kubu Perahu yaitu pada aspek infrastruktur. Polarisasi persepsi secara umum stakeholders (wisatawan masyarakat dan pengelola) dalam pengembangan hospitalitas ekowisata menunjukkan persepsi yang selaras sehingga bentuk polarisasi simetris. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa pengelolaan wisata di Unit Pengelola Wisata Kubu Perahu Taman Nasional Bukit Barisan Selatan (TNBBS) sudah berjalan dengan baik.

Resumen
This article shared the Kuala Kubu Bharu-Fraser's Hill areas and activities of the eco-tourism corporate social responsibility strategy in Malaysia. It describes the factors that influence the tourists' or potential tourists' intention to visit as well as focuses on the enjoyment element as an adaptation and extension to the Theory of Reasonable Action and Stimulus Research Model. The empirical results from the quantitative analysis suggest that enjoyment, attitude as well as social norm are significant factors that contribute to influence the tourists' or potential tourists' intention to visit. With the growth of the eco-tourism industry globally, there is a greater call for corporate social responsibility strategy by organizations. Thus, this article discusses the potential of eco-tourism for corporate social responsibility green business. It is vital to emphasize the customer expectation and the business corporate social responsibility for the sustainability development of the eco-tourism locality.

Resumen
Based the bad environment of Kuta, such as narrow roads, traffic jam, and less of parking area, also less of security sector that happens to prevent crime like a terrorism, murder, or theft. Therefore, this research done to know how the characteristics of foreign tourist who come to Kuta, and whether the tourists still feel comfortable, with the negative impact that arising from tourism activities at Kuta. The method of research using quantitative and qualitative descriptive, with Purposive Sampling as sampling technique, also Sampling Quota and Incidental Sampling as technique taking a sample. By utilize observation, questioners, and document study as method collecting of data. Characteristics of foreign tourists who come to Kuta beach dominated by male tourists with age 21-25 years. Almost of tourists who visiting Kuta has the occupation as student or college. Where, 33% of tourists coming from Australia. Base on final systematic calculation, obtain the final result 3.66, which entered into good category. Therefore, if make a connecting the final result with the Table Interval Comfort Level Criteria, get the conclusion that perception the comfort of foreign tourists at Kuta beach Bali entered into comfortable category. There are factors that obtain greatest value that is Natural resources/climate, Relationship with local people, Beauty, Cleanness, and Relationship between the tourists.

Fishermen Group in Kedonganan Beach is required to become a tourism actors with many demands of tourists that visiting to Kedongananvillage of FishermenGroup.The purpose of this research to find out the forms of involvement or the roles by fishermen group in supporting the tourism activity ini Kedonganan village. The type of data in this study usedescriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques use in this research are interviews, study documentsorliterature.Techniques of informan determining use dept interviews with determining the key informan. The key informant which is selected in this study is Putra Bali’s Fishermen Group in Kedonganan village. The data analysis techniques are uingData Reduction, Data Display, and Conclusion Drawing/Verification. The research concludes that fishermen group hasan important role in tourism activity in Kedongananvillage, there arein economic, social, cultural, environmental, and political. But there are problemsof the role of the fishermen in the field of the environment, because it is less in keeping it clean, the plastic waste and used garbage incinerator make badsights and the sand starts to dirty.The fishing groups should form a section in them organizational structure that works specifically to maintain the cleanliness of the beach area. They should alsoadd some attractions, which besides being a tourist guide who wants to see the beauty beneath the sea, the fishing activity such as knitting nets can also be used as an educational tour on marine fisheries. Thus, tourists canalso invited to participate in fishing activity, and diving to study marine tourism, and preservation. Pandawa Beach is one of destination in Bali that be popular and much visited by tourists. Therefore, it is necessary managed by Kutuh Village community well. This study discussed about community participation in tourism development in Pandawa Beach. The method of this study is in-depth interviews, observation and literature study. In determining the informant, the technique that used is purposive sampling. Data analysis used qualitative descriptive. Result from this study is Kutuh Village community participation in decision making.The type of community participation in making decissin is interactive, in tourism program planning ( in tourism facilities development that are self mobilization, in tourism investments that are self mobilization, and in tourism promotion that is intensive ), in sharing profit from tourism activity in Pandawa Beach, and the type of community participation in sharing profit is self mobilization.

This research aims to create an integrated promotional strategy to maintain relationships with tourists in kuta tourism area in the new normal era. The strategy was formed using a reference from Customer Relationship Marketing (CRM). Customer Relationship Marketing (CRM) is a marketing activity that aims to find, establish and maintain relationships with customers. Data collection techniques are carried out through documentation, literature studies, observations and interviews. The sampling technique used is Purposive Sampling. The data obtained is analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. Based on the research that has been done formed several strategies that can be used to maintain good relationships with tourists or customers. The strategies are grouped into 4 categories. The four categories are trust, commitment, communication and problem handling. In these circumstances maintaining a relationship with a traveler or customer is very important. The right strategy is needed so that when the tourism gate has reopened, then tourists or customers will not be reluctant to come visit. Jineterismo, eine neuartige Form der Sexarbeit in Kuba, entstand im Zuge des Zusammenbruchs des Rates für gegenseitige Wirtschaftshilfe (RGW bzw. Comecon) und dem damit verbundenen aufkommenden Tourismus-Boom auf der Insel. Mädchen und Frauen sind am stärksten in diese neue Form der Prostitution involviert. Um den ihnen verwehrten Zugang zu Waren zu nutzen, boten und bieten viele junge Kubaner_innen Tourist_innen im Austausch sexuelle Dienste an. Inzwischen wird der Begriff jineterismo häufig auch über den sexuellen Bereich hinaus auf alle Tätigkeiten übertragen, die dem jinetero oder der jinetera Devisen einbringen.

This essay has examined how the local community is involved with the tourism development on the San Blas islands and how it effects the destinations development. The method of choice has been a qualitative interview with an operator that offers trips to the destination. Also there has been made a literature study where previous research about the San Blas and the subjects of choice is being presented. During the writing process of this essay it has become obvious to us that the local community (Kuna Yala) is very much involved in everything that concerns the destination. We can thereby establish that the local community of San Blas can be placed on the top step of Arnsteins (1969) “Ladder of Participation”. This comprehensive involvement brings both positive and negative effects on the destinations development. On the negative side we can se that the service level sometimes is low due to lack of knowledge and communication amongst the Kunas. The positive effects however shows that the destination is perceived more unique when the visitors gets to experience the real Kuna lifestyle that also creates a sustainable social environment. Many Kunas make their living on the tourism industry, which secure that the visitors money stays at the destination. The destination itself has not followed any traditional curve regarding destination development, which makes San Blas problematic to apply in Butlers model about the destination lifecycle.
Denna uppsats har undersökt hur lokalsamhället på San Blasöarna involveras i turismnäringen och hur det påverkar destinationens turismutveckling. Valet av metod har varit en kvalitativ intervju med en aktör som erbjuder resor till destinationen. Vidare har också en litteraturstudie genomförts där tidigare forskning kring destinationen och ämnesområdet presenteras. Under arbetet med uppsatsen har det blivit tydligt att lokalbefolkningen (Kuna Yala) involveras i allra högsta grad i San Blas och påverkar alla beslut som har med destinationen att göra. Vi kan därför konstatera att San Blas lokalbefolkning kan placeras på de övre stegen i Arnsteins (1969) modell över medborgarnas deltagandegrad. Den stora involveringen för med sig både positiva och negativa konsekvenser för destinationsutvecklingen. Det negativa är att servicegraden ibland blir väldigt låg till följd av bristande kunskap och kommunikation bland lokalinvånarna. Bland de positiva effekterna nämns bl.a. att destinationen upp levs unik av besökarna som får komma nära Kuna Yala och uppleva deras levnadssätt vilket skapar ett hållbart socialt förhållande. Sysselsättningen blir även högre då många inom Kuna Yala livnär sig på turismnäringen och den höga deltagandegraden minskar läckaget vilket gör att mer pengar stannar kvar på destinationen. Destinationen i sig har inte följt någon traditionell kurva över turismutvecklingen vilket gör att San Blas blir problematisk att applicera i Butlers modell över destinationslivscykeln.

In many of the changes that are occurring in the world today, tourism has a significant role in many areas developed mainly as tourist destinations. Among other changes, spatial and land development engendered by tourism has not been researched widely. One of the most obvious impacts of tourism is on the physical landscape, especially because of change in the built environment. Most studies on the impact of tourism in developing countries are focused on the social and economic impacts of tourism. This research will specifically focus on the impact of tourism on the built environment. Accepting that tourism and land development are complex phenomena, which are idiosyncratic to the context of the particular communities, this study focuses on the traditional communities of Bali. Although faced with significant socio-economic change, especially brought about by tourism, these communities are culturally conservative and possess several highly developed traditional institutions, which maintain, guide and regulate many aspects of environmental change. This approach is constructed by investigating and problematising the theoretical model for this study; considering Bali tourism development generally; developing case studies from built environment change in two resorts in the same regency: Kuta, with integrated development, and Nusa Dua, with enclavic development, and comparing Balinese traditional and current government institutions within a planning discussion. The research uncovers that, there are multiform development mechanisms found in various tourism projects in Kuta and Nusa Dua. The challenge to the analysis is to recognise the common theme in land development processes, which differentiates these two cases. Most likely, the only commonality, which may be drawn out from them, is that nothing in development mechanisms can be generalised. Realising the complex disparity, the analysis is conducted by dichotomising the informal and formal development mechanism. The Nusa Dua resort is an example of a purely formal development mechanism. In contrast, most of built environmental changes in Kuta represent informal and/or semi-formal mechanisms, except starred hotels and other tourist facilities built by large capital investors. Considering planning for changes to the built environment in Bali is practised by two distinct sets of institutions: traditional institutions (desa adat) and more recent official institutions which are created and controlled by the central state government, the supplementary analysis exercise is comparing these two sets of institutions, which apparently have contrasting characteristics and processes. The concern with 'institutions' suggests an understanding of the land development process as social products, and therefore embodiments of context-and historical-specific practices. Built environment processes and their outcomes are seen as the complex result of economic, social and cultural processes from which geography and history cannot be ignored. Simultaneously, this research is another contribution to the empirical investigation of the role of 'institutions' in explaining development processes and the characteristics of the resulting built environment. In planning discipline, especially land development studies arena, most economic-institutionalapproach- research has been conducted in developed countries. This research has partly been based on a sociological-institutional-approach to analysing built environmental changes arising from tourist development in traditional Balinese communities.

Resumen
This thesis deals with the development of tourism on the island of Cuba from the beginning of the 20th century till the present time based on the travel books written by travellers who come mainly from the United States of America. Next, it analyzes tourism during the 20th century. It monitors Cuban tourism from the historic point of view, where it records the period of communist government, racism and similar problems till the present time. It mentions another, however not so representative part of tourism, sex tourism. It is trying to stress the positive aspects of places that represent the tourism in Cuba.

Resumen
Coastal environments of Southeast Asia have been discussed in Chapter 11. This chapter focuses on the utilization of the region’s coastal resources, reflecting not only its varied physical characteristics but also the traditional practices and more modern economic influences that have developed along the coastal regions. Historically, the region serves as an important link between trading routes to Western and Eastern Asia. Many sea battles were fought here between local potentates and foreign powers to win control of the spice trade. A number of the coastal villages developed into important coastal cities, e.g. Cebu, Malacca, Singapore, or in recent years, into coastal tourist resorts, e.g. Pattaya, Kuta. Within the region, there are still strong cultural traditions in the use of coast, although these are being eroded or replaced by more modern or economic practices. For example, the beach forms the traditional recreational area for farmers after the harvest season in Lombok and the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia. Traditionally, the Balinese attach a low economic value to the coast, but this has been replaced in modern times by new and high economic values for tourism, residence, and other uses. The demands for the coastal areas for different uses have various impacts, many of which are detrimental to the coastal environment and may lead to conflicts between users. This chapter relates people with the coastal environment in terms of living and non-living marine resources. Specifically, it discusses several major coastal uses, and their impacts and attempted solutions, to development-related problems. A holistic approach in coastal zone management to solve the problems is advocated, and the implementation and success of this approach assessed. This is also considered within the future and wide-ranging context of climate change and attendant sea-level rise. The definition of a ‘coastal zone’ in Southeast Asia is variable and difficult, as not all states have coastal zone management acts or legislation to define the coastal zone. For the purposes of this chapter, the coastal zone is taken as a variable area defined by not only biogeomorphological characteristics but also the major types of use.
