Resumen
The aim of this research was to identify foreign tourist perception toward service of KutaMajelangu Market as an Attraction of community-based tourism. Foreign tourist’s perception was analyzed by Likert scale. This research used various approaches such as: social and culture, community based tourism, sustainable tourism, and perception theory. Respondents were taken from foreign tourist come from many countries such as Japan, Australia, China, America, Germany, Austria, Holland, and British, while the informants were taken from districts officers, around Kuta Village: such as the head of traditional village known as bendesa, head od subvillage/kelihan banjar, and Kuta community leaders. Data were taken from observation, Interview, questionnaire, and some documents. The results of this study revealed that perception of tourists toward the festival Market Majelangu Kuta as community-based tourist attraction for a variety of requirements had been fulfillment where starting from the land use, planning, management, preservation, benefit economically performed independently by local community. While the perception of tourists toward the activities and services of the Market Majelangu Kuta were well perceived by 79% percent of tourists

Tourism in the Kuta District, located in southern Bali, Indonesia, is a phenomenal global commercial sector that continues to be the largest contributor to Indonesia’s tourism industry, and thereby also contributes to the overall gross national product (GNP) in Indonesia. Kuta’s world renowned tourist destination has its roots dating from the early 19th century, when at that time the island of Bali enticed tourists that had the unique Balinese cultural experiences at heart. Today, Kuta has many sectors of tourism including cultural tourism, nature tourism, shopping tourism and a distinct surfing history with international competitions. Considering that Kuta District leads Bali in cultural capital and tourism throughout the entire island of Bali, Indonesia, this paper will question: 1) how Kuta can continue to lead cultural tourism and remain dynamic in Bali, Indonesia, yet grow by means of socioeconomic communications 2) how the krama (member of traditional village) living in poverty can implement cultural tourism 3) discuss cultural tourism and joint efforts between larger governmental bodies that oversee sociological propaganda that might: strengthen artistic endeavors, preserve the unique identity of the Balinese people and satisfy tourists that still visit Bali with expectations of experiencing its native, original, highly artistic and cultural atmosphere, original cultural experience and atmosphere of what has become known as the unspoiled Bali of the 19th century.

The perception stakeholders in the development of ecotourism in a destination is very important to learn. Alignment of perceptions of the stakeholders is needed to facilitate the implementation of various ecotourism activities. Differences in perception can be a barrier to the implementation of ecotourism development in Kubu Perahu tourist destination. This study aimed to determine the perceptions of three stakeholders (tourists, communities and managers) who will then be described in the form of polarization charts. Perceptions of stakeholders were obtained through questionnaire method (one score one indicator) and analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results of perceptions of stakeholders (tourists, communities and managers) in the development of ecotourism hospitality show a harmonious perception. Tourists have a good perception for all aspects of existing ecotourism hospitality in Kubu Perahu tourism. Communities and managers have a poor perception of one of the aspects of ecotourism hospitality in Kubu Perahu tourist destination is on the infrastructure aspect. The polarization of perceptions in general stakeholders (communities, tourists and managers) in the development of ecotourism hospitality shows a harmonious perception so that the form of symmetric polarization. It indicates that the management of tourism in Tourism Management Unit Kubu Perahu Taman Nasional Bukit Barisan Selatan (TNBBS) has been going well.Persepsi para pihak dalam pengembangan ekowisata di suatu destinasi sangat penting dipelajari. Keselarasan persepsi dari para pihak sangat dibutuhkan untuk memudahkan implementasi berbagai kegiatan ekowisata. Perbedaan persepsi dapat menjadi penghambat pelaksanaan pengembangan ekowisata di destinasi wisata Kubu Perahu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi tiga stakeholders (wisatawan, masyarakat dan pengelola) yang kemudian akan digambarkan dalam bentuk bagan polarisasi. Persepsi stakeholders didapatkan melalui metode kuesioner (one score one indicator) dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian persepsi stakeholders (wisatawan, masyarakat dan pengelola) dalam pengembangan hospitalitas ekowisata menunjukkan persepsi yang selaras. Wisatawan memiliki persepsi yang baik untuk semua aspek hospitalitas ekowisata yang ada di destinasi wisata Kubu Perahu. Masyarakat dan pengelola memiliki peresepsi yang kurang baik terhadap salah satu aspek hospitalitas ekowisata di destinasi wisata Kubu Perahu yaitu pada aspek infrastruktur. Polarisasi persepsi secara umum stakeholders (wisatawan masyarakat dan pengelola) dalam pengembangan hospitalitas ekowisata menunjukkan persepsi yang selaras sehingga bentuk polarisasi simetris. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa pengelolaan wisata di Unit Pengelola Wisata Kubu Perahu Taman Nasional Bukit Barisan Selatan (TNBBS) sudah berjalan dengan baik.

This article shared the Kuala Kubu Bharu-Fraser's Hill areas and activities of the eco-tourism corporate social responsibility strategy in Malaysia. It describes the factors that influence the tourists' or potential tourists' intention to visit as well as focuses on the enjoyment element as an adaptation and extension to the Theory of Reasonable Action and Stimulus Research Model. The empirical results from the quantitative analysis suggest that enjoyment, attitude as well as social norm are significant factors that contribute to influence the tourists' or potential tourists' intention to visit. With the growth of the eco-tourism industry globally, there is a greater call for corporate social responsibility strategy by organizations. Thus, this article discusses the potential of eco-tourism for corporate social responsibility green business. It is vital to emphasize the customer expectation and the business corporate social responsibility for the sustainability development of the eco-tourism locality.

Based the bad environment of Kuta, such as narrow roads, traffic jam, and less of parking area, also less of security sector that happens to prevent crime like a terrorism, murder, or theft. Therefore, this research done to know how the characteristics of foreign tourist who come to Kuta, and whether the tourists still feel comfortable, with the negative impact that arising from tourism activities at Kuta. The method of research using quantitative and qualitative descriptive, with Purposive Sampling as sampling technique, also Sampling Quota and Incidental Sampling as technique taking a sample. By utilize observation, questioners, and document study as method collecting of data. Characteristics of foreign tourists who come to Kuta beach dominated by male tourists with age 21-25 years. Almost of tourists who visiting Kuta has the occupation as student or college. Where, 33% of tourists coming from Australia. Base on final systematic calculation, obtain the final result 3.66, which entered into good category. Therefore, if make a connecting the final result with the Table Interval Comfort Level Criteria, get the conclusion that perception the comfort of foreign tourists at Kuta beach Bali entered into comfortable category. There are factors that obtain greatest value that is Natural resources/climate, Relationship with local people, Beauty, Cleanness, and Relationship between the tourists.

The type of data in this study usedescriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques use in this research are interviews, study documentsorliterature.Techniques of informan determining use dept interviews with determining the key informan. The key informant which is selected in this study is Putra Bali’s Fishermen Group in Kedonganan village. The data analysis techniques are uingData Reduction, Data Display, and Conclusion Drawing/Verification. The research concludes that fishermen group hasan important role in tourism activity in Kedongananvillage, there arein economic, social, cultural, environmental, and political. But there are problemsof the role of the fishermen in the field of the environment, because it is less in keeping it clean, the plastic waste and used garbage incinerator make badsights and the sand starts to dirty.The fishing groups should form a section in them organizational structure that works specifically to maintain the cleanliness of the beach area. They should alsoadd some attractions, which besides being a tourist guide who wants to see the beauty beneath the sea, the fishing activity such as knitting nets can also be used as an educational tour on marine fisheries. Thus, tourists canalso invited to participate in fishing activity, and diving to study marine tourism, and preservation. This study discussed about community participation in tourism development in Pandawa Beach. The method of this study is in-depth interviews, observation and literature study. In determining the informant, the technique that used is purposive sampling. Data analysis used qualitative descriptive. Result from this study is Kutuh Village community participation in decision making.The type of community participation in making decissin is interactive, in tourism program planning ( in tourism facilities development that are self mobilization, in tourism investments that are self mobilization, and in tourism promotion that is intensive ), in sharing profit from tourism activity in Pandawa Beach, and the type of community participation in sharing profit is self mobilization.

This research aims to create an integrated promotional strategy to maintain relationships with tourists in kuta tourism area in the new normal era. The strategy was formed using a reference from Customer Relationship Marketing (CRM). Customer Relationship Marketing (CRM) is a marketing activity that aims to find, establish and maintain relationships with customers. Data collection techniques are carried out through documentation, literature studies, observations and interviews. The sampling technique used is Purposive Sampling. The data obtained is analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. Based on the research that has been done formed several strategies that can be used to maintain good relationships with tourists or customers. The strategies are grouped into 4 categories. The four categories are trust, commitment, communication and problem handling. In these circumstances maintaining a relationship with a traveler or customer is very important. The right strategy is needed so that when the tourism gate has reopened, then tourists or customers will not be reluctant to come visit. This study aims to estimate the condition of economic value and demand of this particular area, estimate the carrying capacity as a condition of supply and formulate a strategy to determine the policy of marine tourism development with considerations of sustainability of this Kuta Beach Area using a dynamic model. The method used for gathering the necessary data is purposive sampling, while the method of data analysis is the analysis of supply with a carrying capacity analysis approach, analysis of tourism demand with Travel Cost Method (TCM), financial feasibility analysis, prospective analysis and dynamic analysis. The result of this research shows the number of tourists in Kuta Beach is less than the carrying capacity of the island, so there is an opportunity to increase the number of tourists. The result of demand analysis based on TCM is Rp 8.614.874.595/year with an average of consumer surplus of Rp 42.250 with a number of 203.899 tourists in 2015. Based on the financial feasibility analysis such as NPV, Net B/C, and IRR, it is concluded that the business of tourism in Kuta Beach is both financially and economically feasible. The prospective analysis recommends a policy based on the opinion of the stakeholders that can be formulated as strategic implications and anticipatory actions in the Kuta Beach Area management plan. Dynamic analysis shows an increase in ecological, economic and social submodels.

There are still some tourism potentials not yet entirely discovered to the public and to the tourists, specifically to the special interest type of these tourists. The potential object will be discussed on this paper relates to the cultural content which is carved over the temple’s walls through the decorative reliefs reflecting the reality or any information about the temple itself and its era. Through the reliefs, many information about the daily live of the ancient Javanese people are revealed. Besides that, the reliefs also describe the species variety of vegetation and animal, the clothes and its supporting ornaments as well as the story or fable which is containing of the original cultural values of Indonesia including the moral messages which give our nation an identity and integrity. The moral values or contents should be offered to the tourists so they could understand the original culture of Indonesia by not only enjoying the physical aspect of any objects (tangible) but more over the intangible aspect which gives a spirit into those objects.

Rural tourism is an integrated part in the services field, and this industry has long been recognized as a valuable tool for economic development in rural destinations. However, the multiplying growth of rural tourism destinations has led to a stiff competition among the industry. Thus, the identification of tourists’ perspective on the hard and soft services components toward the development of rural tourism is a key element in surviving into the rapid tourism competition. The pivotal role of community support as an integral part of tourism product in ensuring sustainable development of rural tourism destination would also being the key indicator for the development of rural tourism. Hence, this study highlighted the importance of tourists’ perspective on hard services (tourism infrastructure and accommodation) and soft services (range of activities and special events) toward the competitiveness of rural tourism destination’s development with community support who act as a moderator. A total of 314 respondents comprising tourists who visited Kampung Semadang, Kampung Telaga Air, and Kubah National Park ( Kampung Matang), Kuching, Sarawak has voluntarily participated in this study. To assess the developed model, SmartPLS 2.0 (M3) is applied based on path modeling and bootstrapping. Interestingly, the findings revealed that tourists are more concerned about the quality of accommodation, infrastructure, range of activities, and special events for the development of tourism destination competitiveness in rural tourism destination. In addition, tourists also believed that the existence of community support is crucial in moderating the relationship between accommodation quality and tourism destination competitiveness. This study further discussed on the implications of the findings, limitations, and directions for future research.

Pantai Batu mejan (Echo Beach). Beach Echo Beach is located in the village of Canggu, northern district of Kuta, Badung regency. Distance traveled to this location approximately 14 km from the city of Denpasar. Many foreign tourists come this beach for sunbathing, swimming and surfing while enjoying the beautiful scenery at sunset (sunset). The beach is famous as a sport surf for foreign tourists. The purpose of this study to determine the potential of Echo Beach and to determine the development strategy in Echo Beach. The method of research is qualitative descriptive analysis with SWOT approach. The technique of collecting data is divided into four: observation, in-depth interview, documentation and literatureFor informants using purposive sampling technique. Results from this study is the tourism potential held in Turkish Echo Beach as a tourist attraction is the natural potential as sport surfing. Cultural potential that there is a sacred place (temple) and the Rejang Dance and Mask Dance. In anticipation of threats and weaknesses and increase the opportunity and power to develop the potential of Echo Beach Beach this to be sustainable, then reviewing the SWOT approach for Coastal Development Strategy in Echo Beach. When viewed from the potential side, West Kalimantan has advantages such as abundant tourist attractions, culture, ethnicity, and various cultures. With this potential, it is necessary to have a container that can cover all the potential that exists in one area in the form of West Kalimantan Mini Park. The purpose of designing the Mini Park of West Kalimantan is expected to present the religious tourism potential of West Kalimantan in an integrated tourist area in Kubu Raya. The design method used in the design of Taman Mini West Kalimantan refers to 5 stages of design, which will start from the initial stages, preparation, submitting proposals, evaluating, and taking action. The design results are in the form of recreational tourism areas and cultural potential in the form of pavilions that represent districts / cities in West Kalimantan.

This study is concerned with the meaning of the English variety spoken by the Balinese vendors in Kuta beach, Bali which is located south of Denpasar City and become a tourism icon. As a part of tourism industry, Kuta beach is often visited by tourists from all over the world. There is a variety phenomenon in speaking English that may influence misinterpretation even though misunderstanding in face to face communication among the vendors and the tourists. This study aims to describe how is the semantic meaning which refers to the meaning in the dictionary and pragmatic meanings of the English variety of the Balinese vendors in Kuta beach, Bali. The result of this study is expected to be able to give new information to the readers about the meaning of the English variety spoken by the vendors in Kuta beach, Bali as a part of Sociolinguistics study. As descriptive study, the data findings in this study are described in form of words, phrases, and sentences. The data were collected by using two methods, participant observation and interview. Participant observation was mainly used to get the significant data from the subjects of the study. Audio and note taking techniques were used to collect the data during the participant observation. The result of the present study shows the meaning and characteristic English of Balinese vendors in Kuta beach, Bali is different from the meaning of the English used by the tourists (native speaker). Some English phrases which they use sound uncommon and sometimes they are ambiguous when they are used within a sentence.

Night entertainments become a special attraction for tourists to fulfill their holidays in Bali with just listening to the music’s or enjoying drinks provided in bars, discotheque/cafes. By these facilities, Bali become a magnet of both domestic and foreign tourists. The types of data used are qualitative and quantitative data, while the data sources used are primary data and secondary data. The data collecting is done with the observation field, in-depth interview, and questionnaires. Then the data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative with the record and explain the results cleary based on the formulation of a problem that has been determined, as well as questionnaires are analyzed using quantitative data as data supporters of the research. The results of this research explains that there are several different types of activities that can be done in place of evening entertainment, including dancing, enjoy music, and enjoy drinks and meals are offered in the café/restaurant. Then from the results of the questionnaire obtained the results that the response of local communities included in the stages of Apathy, which previously accepted as tourism sector economic growth but this time its presence was felt not to mention everything. Bali as an international tourism destination has many tourist attractions, one of which is Canggu. In 2018 nomadlist.com released that Canggu was chosen as the best destination for digital nomads. A new tourist trend has emerged where tourists who work outside the office and complete their work using electronic media such as laptops and internet connections in a coworking space and conduct tourism activities called digital nomads. This research was conducted to determine the Perceptions and Motivations of Digital Nomad travelling in Tibubeneng Village, Canggu village, Badung Regency, Bali. This research was conducted by using questionnaires to digital nomad in several coworking spaces in Tibubeneng Village, Canggu, in addition to distributing questionnaires to the nomads conducted open observation and interviews with several nomads and coworking space staff to complete the data.The results showed that the majority of digital nomads visiting Tibubeneng Village, Canggu were from Australia and Europe, most of whom worked as entrepreneurs. The indicator on the perception that gets the highest score is hospitality from the digital nomad while the indicator that gets the lowest response is the road conditions to Tibubeneng Village, Canggu. On the motivation indicator, physical motivation gets the highest score from a digital nomad while the motivation with the lowest score is showing prestige.

Kura-Kura Bus is one of tourist transportation companies in Bali with public shuttle bus service in tourism route. Data analysis in this research were using SWOT and AHP analysis, with participants who have position minimal as a supervisor. Participants selected based on their expertise and relevance with this article. Based on the results of SWOT and AHP analysis to develop tourist transportation is Kura-Kura Bus, which is considered the most realistic scenario is an optimistic scenario, with the goal to be a safe and comfortable transportation. To achieve the goal, based on priority strategies that could be done by management of Kura-Kura Bus are developing unique products, finding new markets, favoring public transport services, enchance brand reputation, developing smartphone application, and cross promotion with supplier.

This study aims to determine the Factors That Influence The Decision of Tourist Using The Site of www.tripadvisor.com in Bali Tourism Area South Kuta-Bali. This research using quantitative descriptive as a data analysis technique which is using factor analysis method and data processing is using SPSS versi 17.0 for Windows. Sample determination technique is using Judgemental Sampling and sampling technique is using Accidental. Data collection technique is using a questionnaire that given to 150 respondences who as a TripAdvisor app’s users who visited Tourism Destination of uluwatu Temple, Suluban Beach, Dreamland Beach, and Jimbaran Beach to get primary data. The results of this analysis illustrate that obtained 3 factors consist of 14 indicators that influence the decision of the tourist using this site of the Tourism Area in South Kuta-Bali, namely: (1) Psychological Factors, eigen value is 5,355 and 35,699% of the cumulative percentage of variance with indicator: Perceptions, Belief & Attitudes, Motivation Social Class, and Culture. (2) Personal Factors, eigen value is 1,962 and 13,083% of the cumulative percentage of variance with indicators: Lifestyle, Personality & Self Concepts, Learning, Age, Roles & Status, and Economic Environment. (3) Social Factors, eigen value is 1,339 and 8,926% of the cumulative percentage of variance with indicators: Family, Sub-Culture, and Occupation. The highest eigen value is Psychological Factors, in 5,355 of eigen value and 35,699% of the cumulative percentage of variance and this factor becomes the most dominant factor influencing the decision of tourists using www.tripadvisor.com of the Tourism Area in South Kuta-Bali.

Melasti beach is a tourist attraction of the beach that is just starting to develop. Melasti Beach still in development in the governance by the village of Ungasan and yet the existence of a management system. Melasti beach is located in Ungasan, South Kuta, Badung Regency, has the potentialities are wonderful and interesting to develop. The assumption behind this is based on the chosen research topic "melasti Beach Development Strategy as a tourist attraction in the village of Ungasan, South Kuta, Badung Regency. Data types and data sources that are used i.e. qualitative data, primary and secondary data. Data collection done by way of observation, unstructured interviews, study kepustakan, documentation, research instrument is the guidance interview. The analysis of the data used is descriptive qualitative data analysis with the use of tourism potential and analysis approach to SWOT analysis which clearly sets forth the findings based on the issues examined with accurate data sources. In the results of this research demonstrating that the Melasti Beach has the potential of nature is very beautiful, it also has the potential of culture as well as potential human or artificial to developed, capable of attracting tourists visit. Although still in the development phase is already visited by tourists and foreigners to the archipelago. The conclusions from the results of Shore Development Melasti is need for management systems, many still lack facilities to complement the tourist attraction due to the lack of funds and contributions from the Government is still waiting for him. Abstract Banjar Tegal Gundul as tourist villages in the province of Bali, which visits by foreign and domestic tourists. Every years the number of foreign and domestic tourists to the Banjar Tegal Bald is increases. This situation makes the tourism sector as the main livelihood of local people. That's condition become the background of this research, they are: 1) to understand how to influence tourist entities to the English language skills of local people in Banjal Tegal Gundul and 2) how language attitude of local society towards English. The research uses the method of observation and questionnaire submitted to 24 respondents, who are local people as workers and business owners in the area. This study is found that the language functions used by local people to communicate with foreign tourists is: Greetings, Offering, asking for information, giving information, Saying Like, Giving an opinion, persuading, asking someone to do something, Accepting invitations, apologizing, persuading, and saying / returning thanks. The sentences are used in grammatical rules in English. The language attitudes towards English seen from the cogBanjar Tegal Gundul is one of the tourist villages in the village area of ​​Tibubeneng, North Kuta, Badung, Bali, which receives visits by foreign and domestic tourists. Every year the number of foreign and domestic tourist arrivals to the Banjar Tegal Gundul region has increased. The situation makes the tourism sector as the main livelihood of the local community Banjar Tegal Gundul. The situation is the background of this research, namely: 1) to find out how the influence of foreign tourist entities on the English language ability of local people in Banjar Tegal Gundul and 2) how the attitude of the local people's language towards English. That is because the equality of local people's thought orientation will benefit from English, for the livelihoods of local people, both in terms of workers or business owners in the Banjar Tegal Gundul region.

This also applies to the tourism industry. One of the tourism industries engaged in goods and services is the business center for souvenirs (shopping tourism). Several things that items to be considered as business are factors that can influence the buying interest of tourists at the center of souvenirs. This study –aims- to –analyze- the _influence - of - price factors and brand image related to domestic tourist shopping interests at the Jogger souvenir center, Kuta, Bali. This study uses multiple regression analysis methods with data sourced from observations, interviews, questionnaires, documentation and literature studies with non-probability sampling techniques as a method of determining to sample. Based on this research it could be concluded by the _price factor and brand _image has a significant influences on the buyinginterest of domestictourists on Joger, Kuta, Bali. In the tourism area the vehicle population continues to increase, on the other hand the lack of public facilities that are safe and comfortable as a medium of transportation causes most tourists to prefer carrying private vehicles. Meanwhile tourist attractions in tourist areas are usually centered on a particular location. This will also result in high concentration of vehicles in the area. Then the availability of parking lots is needed. The problem is the need for land for other purposes is also increasing and the availability of vacant land is also limited. Resulting in several problems such as parking on the roadside which will then hamper vehicle circulation activities. The research objective is to identify parking system problems in the Kuta tourism area and create ideas in the direction of the development of parking infrastructure referring to the development of multi-storey parking buildings (Vertical) with the application of the parking system system with APS (Automatic Parking System) technology. This research is a research with a qualitative descriptive analysis approach which is done by data collection techniques through direct observation, document studies, and literature studies.

Millennial tourists are the most potential tourists at the moment because of their number in the world. Kuta Selatan is one of the well-known and attractive districts for millennials visiting Bali. Therefore the purpose of this study is to determine the push and pull factors of millennial tourists visiting South Kuta and what factors are dominantly encouraging and attracting tourists to visit South Kuta. This research uses descriptive quantitative data analysis which is processed using SPSS 18.0 for windows application. The sample was determined purposively by 200 millennial tourists visiting South Kuta. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, questionnaires, interviews, literature studies, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are the validity test, reliability test, and factor analysis. The results showed that there were four push factors ecourage millennial tourists to visit South Kuta, namely: trying a new lifestyle, breaking away from boredom, friends or family and increasing self-esteem and five factors attracting millennial tourists visiting South Kuta, namely: factors the symptoms of Kuta Selatan, culture and tradition, price, variety of nightlife and clean, cool air. Based on the analysis it is known that the factor of trying a new lifestyle becomes the dominant factor that ecourage millennial tourists to visit South Kuta with an eigenvalue of 4.370 and a variance percentage of 29.133% while the viral factor of South Kuta becomes the dominant factor that attracts millennial tourists visiting South Kuta with a value eigenvalue of 6.788 and the total percentage of variance of 29.512%.

The legal basis of tourism management becomes the basis for the implementationof the management of tourist areas, spatial planning and transportation that support a tourist area.The role of the government in developing tourism in outline is to provide infrastructure (not onlyin physical form), expand various forms of facilities, coordinate activities between governmentofficials and the private sector, regulate and promote the general to other regions and abroad.The government has the authority to regulate, supply and designate various infrastructuresrelated to tourism needs. Not only that, the government is responsible for determining thedirection of tourism travel. The policy adopted by the government is a guide for otherstakeholders in playing their respective roles. At present public transportation services have notbeen able to guarantee good services. The percentage of users of public transportation is verysmall, even less than 3%. The majority of road users use private transportation, especially motorcycles whose ownership exceeds 70%. The introduction and development of mass publictransportation through Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) labeled Trans Sarbagita is one form of efforts toovercome traffic congestion through the provision of better public transportation services. Theimpact is that more and more areas will be served by public transportation. At present unservedareas will continue to produce private transportation users and will always be a source of trafficjams.

Abstrak Canggu adalah sebuah desa yang terletak di kabupaten Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung sebagai Daerah Pengembangan Badung Tengah yang memiliki kebijakan mempertahankan Badung Tengah sebagai daerah pertanian dalam arti luas dan mencegah konversi sawah. Pertanyaan penelitian dari penelitian ini adalah tentang dampak pariwisata terhadap konversi lahan. Pemilihan desa Canggu sebagai lokasi penelitian karena desa Canggu berada di tengah-tengah wilayah Badung sebagai daerah pertanian, alam dan budaya sebagai semangat pariwisata desa Canggu, desa Canggu dipengaruhi oleh pembangunan fasilitas akomodasi. Jenis data dalam penelitian ini adalah sumber data kualitatif dan kuantitatif dari data primer dan sekunder. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan studi kepustakaan. Penentuan informan penelitian ini dimulai dengan menentukan informan pertama dan informan kunci. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Menurut hasil penelitian di desa Canggu didapat hasil sebagai berikut pengembangan pariwisata berdampak pada peningkatan konversi lahan pertanian, perubahan penggunaan lahan juga berdampak pada perubahan sosiokultural. Adapun lokasi penelitian ditentukan berdasarkan perkembangan pariwisata terhadap alih fungui lahan, hasil dari penelitian ini perkembangan pariwisata terhadap alih fungsi lahan berdampak pada kesejahtraan masyarakat Desa Canggu. Lahan yang dialih fungsikan dibangun Hotel, Homestay, Villa, Restoran, Laundry dan lain sebagainya yang menunjang ketertarikan wistawan, untuk berwisata ke Desa Canggu. Alih fungsi lahan merupakan suatu tolok ukur untuk meningkatkan pendapatan ekonomi warga Desa canggu. Hal ini menyebabkan minat masyarakat menjadi meningkat untuk mengubah fungsi lahan mereka sebagai media penghubung perkembangan pariwisata tersebut. Faktor lain yang menyebabkan perubahan alih fungsi lahan di Desa Canggu adalah tingginya nilai permintaan dari wisatawan terhadap vasilitas yang disediakan. Kata kunci: Pariwisata dan alih fungsi lahan Abstract Canggu is a village located in North Kuta district, Badung Regency as the Central Badung Development Area which has a policy of maintaining Central Badung as an agricultural area in the broad sense and conversion of rice fields. The research question of this research is about research on land conversion. The selection of the Canggu village as a research location is because the Canggu village is in the middle of the Badung area as an agricultural, natural and cultural area such as the spirit of tourism in the Canggu village, the Canggu village works with the construction of recreational facilities. The type of data in this study is the source of qualitative and quantitative data from primary and secondary data. Research data were collected through interviews and library research. The determination of the informants of this study begins with determining the first informant and key informant. The data analysis technique of this research is descriptive qualitative analysis. According to the results of research in the village of Canggu obtained the following results the development of tourism has an impact on increasing agricultural land conversion, land use changes also have an impact on sociocultural change. The research location is determined based on the development of tourism on land use change, the results of this study the development of tourism on land use change has an impact on the welfare of the people of Canggu Village. The land that has been converted has been built by hotels, homestays, villas, restaurants, laundry and others that support the interests of tourists, for a trip to Canggu Village. Transfer of land functions is a benchmark to increase the economic income of residents of Canggu Village. This causes the interest of the community to increase to change the function of their land as a media liaison with the development of tourism. This research aimed to analyze the effort to create sustainable tourism towards tourist motivation and behavior in Kuta Beach Bali. Sustainable tourism consists of environmental dimensions, economic dimensions, socio-cultural dimensions, and level of tourist satisfaction. This research employed descriptive method and explanatory survey with size of 103 samples of tourist from Australia, China, and Japan who have visited Kuta Beach Bali. The data were collect through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation. It utilized data analysis technique of SEM (Structural Equation Model) Analysis. The result of the study showed that the variables of tourist motivation present significant influence towards tourist behavior in Kuta Beach Bali, and tourist behavior is influencing significantly towards creating sustainable tourism in Kuta Beach Bali.

The waters of Kura-Kura Beach have quite a lot of human activities, one of which is tourism. The study aims to observe Hydro-Oceanographic parameters such as tidal conditions, ocean currents, and waves. The study uses field observation data and simulation results. The data is calculated to find Formzhal number based on the amplitude of tidal harmonic constants. The Flow analysis to determine the pattern and velocity of the current. The height and period of the wave to analyze characteristics of the wave. The results show that the tide in Kura-Kura Beach waters is a daily mix of a double with the highest tide at MSL and a minimum tide of 0.43 below MSL. While the current velocity obtained from the yield model has a range of (0.003 - 0.11) m/s, and the measurement results are between (0.005 - 0.14) m/s. The simulation results show that the current moves from land to sea at low tide, and it moves from sea to land at toward the tide. For the height of the ocean waves that are formed in a period of 10 years (2009 - 2019) ranges from (0.09 - 154) m and the wave period (1.86 - 5.73) seconds. Based on the calculation results, the largest wave energy occurs in the second intermediate period, namely 184.21 Joules/m with height and wave periods of 1.21 m and 4.39 seconds. In contrast, the smallest wave energy occurs in the first intermediate period with minimum wave height and period 0.18 m and 3.08 seconds. In general, based on the simulation of the current velocity model, the forecasting of wave height and wave energy in Kura-Kura Beach waters is still relatively small. So, it can be concluded that the location is still categorized as safe for coastal tourism and other activities.

Tulamben village located in the district of Kubu, Karangasem regency, has developed into one of the maritime destination, especially diving and snorkeling. Based on data from the Department of Culture and Tourism of Bali, the average number of tourists coming to Tulamben in 2012-2014 reached 94,253 tourists. This condition makes the tourism has grown into a major economic support local communities in the Tulamben. Economic growth without being accompanied by an appropriate management plan will certainly produce a negative impact on coastal and marine resources to be a major asset for the growth. Various forms of management that allows to be applied has been identified in an effort to support the sustainability of the ecological, economic and socio-cultural community. This study was conducted to analyze the suitability of diving and snorkeling, coral identification were examined using LIT (Line Intercept Transect) methods while the abundance of reef fish species assessed using visual underwater cencus (UVC). Analysis of the data used is the analysis of the potential reef and suitability. Determination of the suitability of the area as a tourist diving and snorkeling analysis using matrix parameters to consider the appropriateness of the ecological conditions and water quality conditions of the four classifications. Cover of live coral communities ranged between 16.26% -52.48% with a diversity of reef fish species ranged between 11-44 types. Travel suitability index (IKW) category snorkeling and diving are included in the category is not appropriate (N) and the corresponding (S2).

This study aims to understand and map the tourism industry and women’s employment mobility in the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) of Mandalika Kuta Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. This study was a qualitative study using a case study approach with a group analysis unit. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants are an optional or criterion-based selection. Informants in this study were 120 informants. Informants were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The informants in this study are not to represent the population but represent information. Data analysis was processed through three stages. The results of the study found that the tourism industry in the Special Economic Zone of Mandalika Kuta Lombok has encouraged the new job creation and job types that were previously unknown by the community. In the category of self-employment and wage employment, there is an increase in the number due to a decrease in the status of casual work. This is a sign that there are significant job changes and job mobility. This is caused by low wages, inconvenience at work, and family factors. With the creation of various types of new jobs and the pattern of employment mobility, the efforts of self-improvement are needed, especially in terms of education and skills. Provincial and District Governments need to conduct a study of the potential and employment opportunities needed for women in the tourism industry to create links and matches between various employment sectors in the tourism industry.

Developing marine eco-tourism as an alternative source of livelihood. To accelerate poverty alleviation in Karangasem regency, where 6.88% of the population of 27,800 people are classified as poor , various efforts have been made by the Regional Government such as developing marine eco-tourism in Tulamben Village, Kubu Sub-district and Amed Village, Abang District of Karangasem Regency. Developing of marine eco-tourism resulted in a shift in livelihood patterns of the population from the agricultural sector to the tourism industry sector. The problem in this research is "Is Marine Eco-tourism Development feasible to be an alternative livelihood for Tulamben and Amed people of Karangasem Regency?" The research objectives are to assess whether marine eco-tourism development is a viable alternative livelihood for Tulamben and Amed communities. The method used is the Contingent Valuation Method: Willingness to Accept (WTA), Willingness to Pay (WTP) and Economic Potential Analysis and SWOT analysis. Result: the Contingent Valuation Method shows WTP value of Rp.176.500 higher than WTA value of Rp.154.500. Analysis of Economic Potential, from analysis of the economic potential of Marine Ecotourism, can create value Rp.4.728.964.500 from every tourist visit to an object. From the above two analyses, it can be concluded that Marine Ecotourism is very feasible as an alternative livelihood. To complement the analysis of marine eco-tourism development strategy with SWOT, it can be recommended as follows:• Improving cooperation with domestic and foreign travel agents• Providing an information center related to Marine Ecotourism activities.• Increasing safety insurance for tourists• Improving the quality of human resources, through on-going training. Pengembangan Ekowisata Bahari sebagai Mata pencahariaan alternatif. Untuk mempercepat pengentasan kemiskinan di Kabupaten Karangasem, dimana 6,88% dari jumlah penduduknya tergolong miskin. Menyadari akan hal ini berbagai upaya telah dilakukan oleh Pemerintah Daerah diantaranya adalah Pengembangan Ekowisata Bahari di Desa Tulamben, Kecamatan Kubu dan Desa Amed Kecamatan Abang, Kabupaten Karangasem. Dengan berkembangnya Ekowisata Bahari mengakibatkan adanya pergeseran pola mata pencaharian penduduk dari sektor pertanian ke sektor industri pariwisata. Yang menjadi masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah Apakah Pengembangan Ekowisata Bahari layak untuk dijadikan mata pencaharian Alternatf bagi Masyarakat Tulamben dan Amed Kabupaten Karangasem? Tujuan Penelitian: Untuk mengkaji apakah Pengembangan Ekowisata Bahari layak dijadikan sebagai mata pencaharian alternatif bagi masyarakat Tulamben dan Amed. Metode Penelitian. Tourists are interested in creative industry products with Balinese style and culture. The symbol of religion is a business opportunity developed by Bali's creative industries. Commodification of the sacred symbol of Hinduism in the form of tattoos occurs because of the tourist demand for tattoos in the form of Hindu religious symbols. This research was conducted in Kuta. Determination of informants using basic informant techniques and key informants. Data was collected through interviews conducted with Jero Bendesa Adat Kuta as the base informant and tattoo artist as the key informant. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that the commodity of Hindu holy symbols in the form of tattoos as creative industrial products in Kuta occurs because of the demand for tourists and because there are no rules regarding the use of Hindu symbols in the form of tattoos. Commodification occurs in the value of the sacred symbols of Hindu religion which are sacred to commercial value. Commodification occurs in the function of the sacred symbol of Hinduism which functions as a sacred object into an object that functions as an art. This commodification does not change the original form of the sacred symbol of Hinduism, only a few variations are added such as flowers, lines, circles and so on.

This research was carried out because there were problems regarding the exploitation of tourism business development in the cliff border area in Pecatu Village, South Kuta District, Badung Regency. Exploitation that occurs like tourism business development. The tourism business is like accommodation and restaurants. So researchers are interested in researching on the topic. The research method used is qualitative analysis, with interview, observation and documentation techniques. Theories and concepts used are functional theories and concepts of exploitation, tourism policies, borderline cliffs and tourism businesses. The results of the study show that there are 157 tourism business buildings in Pecatu Village, and some of them are recorded using cliff borders. As for the dominant tourism business using a cliff border, namely hotel and restaurant accommodation businesses. From the violation, the government of Pecatu Village and Badung Regency Government gave a policy in the form of awig-awig and written regulations to regulate these violations. The conclusions in this study were the violation of tourism business development in Pecatu Village which uses a cliff border area. Massive businesses are being built in hotel and restaurant accommodation businesses. so that from this case the government of Pecatu Village and the Badung Regency Government issued a policy to regulate these violations so as not to occur again. Researchers suggest that they need to be given strict sanctions against offenders, or direct demolition by the Desa Adat, because the Desa Adat in Bali is feared by investors. Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang jenis penyandang disabilitas dan bentuk pemberdayaan penyandang disabilitas pada objek wisata Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Provinsi Bali. Masalah ini dianalisis secara kualitatif dengan pendekatan kajian budaya serta dikaji menggunakan teori hegemoni dan praktik sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) jenis penyandang disabilitas yang diberdayakan pada objek wisata Kuta yaitu tunanetra dan dan tunadaksa; (2) bentuk pemberdayaan penyandang disabilitas yaitu cleaning service, tukang masak, operator CCTV, dan penjual pulsa keliling; (3) penyandang disabilitas kurang diberdayakan pada objek wisata Kuta, sehingga mereka menjadi kelompok yang termarginalkan dan terhegemoni ditengah geliat industri pariwisata. Pemerintah, pengusaha, dan masyarakat diharapkan agar memberdayakan penyandang disabilitas secara maksimal agar mereka memperoleh pekerjaan yang layak untuk keberlanjutan kehidupannya.---------------------------------------------------------------------------This study examines what types of people with disabilities and how to empower people with disabilities in the tourist attraction of Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali Province? The results of the study showed: (1) types of persons with disabilities who were empowered in Kuta's tourist objects, namely blind and disabled people; (2) forms of empowerment namely cleaning service, cooks, CCTV operators, and mobile credit sellers; (3) people with disabilities are less empowered in Kuta tourism objects, so they become the marginal group and hegemony in the midst of the stretch of the tourism industry. Kuta Beach is known as tourist favourite attraction in Bali, it can be seen by the number of tourists visited Kuta Beach. However, the high level of tourists, travelers and local communities to Kuta Beach who use private vehicles create traffic jam at Kuta Beach. In this study aims to determine the perception of tourists, travelers and local communities if the implementation of public transport as a special means to Kuta Beach to reduce congestion caused by private vehicles. The research methodology used is quantitative method. With the technique of determining the number of samples using random sampling and quota sampling. In collecting the data using techniques study literature, observation, interviews, documentation, and distribution of the questionnaire to the 40 respondents. In a data analysis technique used descriptive qualitative method by utilizing the percentage of data. The results show the perception of tourists, travelers and local communities towards the implementation of transportation common in Kuta Beach, which answered agree as many as 16 people (40%) strongly agree 15 people (37.5%), undecided 5 people (12.5%), not agree 4 people (10%), strongly disagree 0 (0%). Thus the total percentage of the perception of tourists, travelers and local communities can be seen in the implementation of public transport in the Kuta Beach, the majority of local people answered agree but local communities said the hesitation and do not agree that the implementation of the proposal. In Kuta Lombok tourist destination, adequate supporting facilities are needed, one of which is public toilets, public toilets which are an important part of the needs of tourists, for that we need good maintenance needs to provide a sense of comfort for tourists. The purpose is to find out the management of public toilets in the tourist attraction of central Lombok Lombok and the management of public toilet management. Data collection methods are interviews, observation and documentation. The results of research conducted on public toilets in the tourist attraction of Kuta Lombok are still not running optimally. This is evident that there are still toilets that do not meet hygiene and sanitation standards. In its management there needs to be a close collaboration between the government and the community so that the management of public toilets goes well. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the management of public toilets in the tourist attraction of Kuta Lombok is not going well.

Kuta Selatan subdistrict is one of the tourism hotspots in Bali, as shown by the rates of development in the economic sector, especially in the tourism industry. The numbers of accommodations in Kuta Selatan, from 2018 data, are 329 non-star hotel, 33 five star hotels, 12 four star hotels, 12 three star hotels, 12 four star hotels and approximately 150 private villas (BPS,2019). Daily operation of hotels produces hazardous waste such as electronic waste, LED light, oil and chemical containers. Electronic waste is content with heavy metal such as mercury, lead, lithium and cadmium. Hazardous wastes that are released into the environment without any treatment can be harmful for public health. The purpose of this research is to know how far tourism industries, especially hotels and private villas, have implemented the requirements for hazardous waste management. Hazardous waste management consists of permits, container, storage, collection and treatment. Permits and temporary hazardous waste storage are mandatory requirements for hotels to have as a first step of the whole process of hazardous waste management. Based on the data collection from 150 samples, we are shown that 70% of hotels with a capacity of 300-400 rooms already have hazardous waste temporary storage as well as the permit. With smaller scale hotels, only 50% already have hazardous waste temporary storage, as well as the permit. In contrast, in small scale accommodation, such as hotels with a capacity under 100 rooms, and private villas, only 4 % have proper hazardous waste temporary storage.

Mount Agung status alert, on October 22nd, 2017 some residents within radius of 12 km are evacuated to several areas in Bali. The evacuated people are living in 28 villages in Karangasem regency, one of them is Tulamben Village. Mount Agung eruption has a direct impact on tourism bussiness. This study aims to analyze the implication of Mount Agung Eruption on Tourism Business at Tulamben Marine Attraction, Kubu Sub-District, Karangasem Regency. The research method used is qualitative study with descriptive analysis technique to examine the implications of Mount Agung eruption on tourism business. Source data from primary knowledges and secondary documents. Data are collected through observation methods, interviews, literature study, and research instruments in the form of interview guidelines. The research is a descriptive qualitative with survey method. Determination of informant using purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The purposive sampling technique involving 2 informant from tourism govermant and 2 informant from desa wisata Kubu Gadang Kota Padang Panjang manager then snowball sampling technique involving 3 informant from desa wisata Kubu Gadang Kota Padang Panjang visitor. Technique of collecting data is done by interview, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that: 1) the strength of promotion advertising are: news paper easy to get, the picture quality on brochure have a good and interesting, radio can be heard anywhere, television give information through sound and picture, desa wisata Kubu Gadang also have a website and a big billboard with a perfect lighting. 2) the weakness of promotion advertising are: there was no promotion through a brochure, there was no update on the Kubu Gadang’s website, the billboard was vulnerable of damage. 3) the opportunities of promotion advertising are: there are many people who still interest to read the newspaper and brochure, there are many people who interest of internet using, many people can see the outdoor media as if billboard and baliho. 4) the threats of promotion advertising are: there are competitor through print media, television and outdoor media. The conclusion of The promotion strategy through advertising media at Desa Wisata Kubu Gadang Kota Padang Panjang is 1) making use of print media for promotion, 2) to increase the promotion thourgh radio, television and website/internet, 3) making advertising through outdoor media as if billboard and baliho.

This study aimed to explain the effect of service quality and brand image on the satisfaction of domestic tourists who used Grab online transportation in Kuta, Bali. The research method used in this research was quantitative and qualitative research methods (mix methods). Questionnaires were distributed to 150 domestic tourists with a sample determination method using purposive sampling. The method of data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 18.0 program. The results of this study stated that partially the quality of service had a positive and significant effect on the satisfaction of domestic tourists with the dominant dimension being the tangible dimension and brand I mage giving a positive and significant effect on the satisfaction of domestic tourists with the dominating dimension being the support of the brand association. Simultaneously, the quality of service and brand image had a positive and significant influence on the satisfaction of domestic tourists. The R Square value of 0.672 meant that 67,2% of tourist satisfaction could be explained by the variable service quality and brand image, while the remaining 32,8% was influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

The study aims to analyze the factors that affect tourist in choosing a motorcycle as a mode of transportation in South Kuta area. Data were collected using survey online questionnaires. The number of respondents was 100 international tourists. The methodologies used were descriptive statistics, factor analysis using the IBM SPSS 26.0 for Windows application. The result of the study shows that there are two factors, which influence international tourists to choose the motorcycle as the transportation mode in South Kuta area. The two factors are external and internal factors. The external factor consists of the street width, the convenience of renting the transportation mode, availability of the parking area, the traffic density, the transportation cost, and the reliability. The internal factor are family recommendation, easy to used, own a driving license, budget, and driving range. Based on the result of factor analysis, the external factor as a dominant factor that influences international tourists to choose motorcycle as transportation mode in South Kuta Area.

The background backs by parking rates that have been marked-up by unscrupulous parking attendants at a cost that does not match the price listed on the parking ticket. The purpose of this study is to determine the practice of parking by parking attendants at Kuta Beach tourist attraction and to understand the interaction between parking attendants with tourists in Kuta Beach tourist attraction. The method used in this study is a qualitative method. Qualitative methods referred in this study is an overview of the practice of parking in general and the practice of withdrawal of parking rates that have been marked up by parking attendants in Kuta Beach tourist attraction, Bali. From these results, it can be explained that the number of tourists who pay are not as it is printed on the tickets, in fact tourist pay higher rate than in the parking ticket. Based on the result from questioner, tourist are not satisfied with the parking attendant quality and the parking area condition. There is no real interaction between tourists and parking attendants, only when tourists want to have their bike/car out then the parking attendant asking for the money. Sometimes parking attendants didn’t show their gratitude at all to the tourists by saying thank you.

Resumen
Geotourism is one of the most important tourism sectors that has rapidly developed and become widespread in recent years. Geotourism is defined as tourism that sustains or enhances the distinctive geographical character of a place—its environment, heritage, aesthetics, culture, and the well-being of its residents. The purpose of geotourism is to recognize and protect these natural structures of public, as well as contributing to local and regional development through the emerging species. Geotourism incomes have begun to increase in the total tourism incomes of the countries. There are many places in Turkey that can be considered as possible areas of geotourism. In this scope; Cappadocia fairy chimneys, Manisa Kula volcanic area, Denizli Pamukkale travertines and Bitlis Nemrut Caldera were studied.
