To help ship operators make reasonable decisions, a Simplified Newton Iteration Method is proposed to calculate damage stability in real time based on 3D geometric models of the ship. This article studies one of referred books within Shii circle, al-Istibsar fi Ma Ikhtalaf Min al-Akhbar written by Abu Jafar al-Tusi. Every chapters of the book is presented, including its historical setting, as well as the transmitters of its hadiths (rij'al al-hadis). It is understood that methodological different between the Sunni and Shii did not cause both to detach each other. It is a fact that the Shii has a criterion of hadith muwassaq. It is also true that many Shii rijal are included in Sunnis al-Kutub al-Tisah. This, in turn, suggests an exchange and dialogue between the two.
