Resumen
The thesis is focused at the measurement of the benefit of modern technologies in relation to sustainable development for companies that are implementing the so-called Key Enabling Technologies, into their production processes. The multidisciplinarity of these technologies and their huge impact on societal and environmental challenges of the current society are the reason, why the companies implementing these technologies have to be assessed differently, more comprehensively. It is also proven within the detailed literature review. The aim of the thesis is to develop evaluation model of the benefit of modern technologies in manufacturing companies that reflects the aspects of the sustainable development. For this purpose, the relevant performance indicators have to be developed. The various statistical methods are applied, especially the structural equation modelling, in order to achieve the goal of the thesis. Finally, the pilot testing of the optimized model is realized on the specific company.

Tato práce se zaměřuje na téma konkurenceschopnosti. Jejím hlavním cílem je podrobit zkoumání strategické konkurenční chování firem a dále identifikovat a analyzovat faktory ovlivňující jejich konkurenceschopnost. V první části práce jsou představeny teoretické přístupy a analytické nástroje sloužící k mapování systémového okolí a konkurence firmy. V kontextu konkurence jsou zkoumány především inovace a strategická partnerství. Ve druhé části jsou tyto teoretické přístupy aplikovány na firmu Medtronic, za účelem zhodnocení firmy z hlediska jejího strategického konkurenčního chování a doporučení dalšího vývoje. Na základě této aplikace je poté zhodnocena využitelnost teoretických modelů v praxi.

Resumen
The Diploma thesis analyzes the attitude of small and medium Czech enterprises towards the Green IT and sustainability concept. Several practices such as consolidation and virtualization of servers, desktop virtualization, cloud computing, energy management, dematerialization and recycling are discussed with regards to their contribution to global sustainability. The common denominator of most of the Green IT practices is the energy consumption reduction. The increasing information technology's demand for energy is viewed as a major contributor to the global carbon footprint and Green IT practices are assessed in terms of how much energy can be saved by incorporating them in a company policy. Besides energy consumption material aspects are another significant part of Green IT. Both the toxicity of certain materials used in the manufacturing process and the increased need for proper recycling of electronic waste are discussed in respective chapters. Information technology does not only add to the global carbon footprint, but it can also provide means to reduce the emissions of other sectors. Companies can reduce their energy consumption by improving logistics (smart logistics) or buildings (smart buildings) efficiency. Teleworking is another practice which enables millions of people work outside their office and contributes to global sustainability. The analytical part presents a survey of Czech small and medium enterprises and their attitude to Green IT. The main objective of the survey is to find out how many companies have implemented Green IT into their company policy. Company representatives report on which Green IT practices they have adopted and why. Responses are analyzed and findings and conclusions are presented.

Resumen
The aim of this study is to compare implementation, impact and sustainability of educational projects in small and medium enterprises which are funded by the European Social Fund. The results of the analysis should give us an answer to the question whether the financial support is used effectively and contributes to the fulfilment of its objectives or the potential of these funds remains untapped. The theoretical part deals with the current situation analysis of training and development of employees in SMEs, different methods of measuring the effectiveness of company training as well as the opportunities of training promotion in SMEs with support of the ESF. The practical part is focused on comparing the implementation of educational projects funded by the Operational Programme Prague -- Adaptability and Operational Programme Human Resources and Employment in chosen SMEs. These companies are compared with enterprises that fund their educational programmes with their own resources and with respect to differences resulting from their size measured by number of employees. This comparison enables us to assess the effectiveness of the use of public funds in this area.

The awareness and concern regarding social and environmental issues is growing among representatives of the business sector and they cannot eliminate the impact that they have. Corporate Social Responsibility is a complex strategy to govern the whole process of doing business. The objective of the Diploma Thesis is to prepare comprehensive analysis of current CSR practices in the Czech Republic and find out what type of impact the socially responsible practices of a company can have on a customers behaviour. The used literature represents pervious findings in the field, mainly researches done among Czech customers. In the practical part personal interviews with the company representative will be held in order to examine practical implications of CSR practices for the biggest brewery; Anheusher-Busch InBev.

Thesis deals with the reporting of sustainability development and its mode of administration of regular reports. The first section contains information ofsustainability development and a summary of the approach of the UN and the EU to sustainability development, which influenced business attitudes to the disclosure of periodic results using standardized reporting of sustainability. The second part analysis the situation of companies in the administration report brewing on sustainability and social responsibility. The aim is to develop recommendations for the creation of reports on sustainable development and social responsibility on the basis of previous analyzes and evaluation of their development.

Dissertation is concerned on sustainability of social enterprise, which has started its business thanks to EU funding during the period 2007 - 2013. Social enterprises as social economy subjects make up an important part of national economy and extend possibilities to obtain financial sources for nonprofit operation. EU funding reflects the importance of social enterprises in promoting level of employment. The aim of the research is to get a complex description of surveyed case with a special emphasis on social and financial sustainability in the the situation after project's completion date. Sustainability of the social enterprise is described with help of The SEED Initiative approach. The SEED Initiative has defined success factors and key indicators of performance of social enterprise sustainability. Dissertation is conceived as a single case study.

This work is written in order to explore, evaluate, and then propose the optimization of the enterprise. Assessment is done using the method based on the exploitation of ecological, economic and social indicators. In the environmental sphere was found inadequate fertilization, mainly "P" and "K" on the contrary, diversity of crops and field size are good. Positive results were reached in the economic indicators and social indicators are at high lever, especially because all workers are the owners of the company and thus they make an effort to increase efficiency of production, social engagement, own education and cooperation. As an optimization measures were designed to perform analysis on plots of land, followed by the acuteness of nutrient deficiencies begin manure to fertilize, fertilization modify property repeating after 4 years at a dose of 18 t.ha-1 and excess organic matter being taken to optimize the straw from the land.

Resumen
The aim of the thesis is a comprehensive assessment of the sustainability of TT-Agro, s.r.o. for six years (2013-2018). The company manages approximately 1,500 hectares in corn production area in the Trnava region and concentrates exclusively on plant production. The analysis focuses on the 3 dimensions of sustainability: ecologi-cal, economic and social. The first part evaluates ecological sustainability, which is carried out on 4 selected farms. The second part evaluates the economic sustainability of the company altogether and then evaluates the ecological and economic parameters of the six most important crops. Crops are evaluated over a period of 4 years (2013 - 2017). The final section will be a synthesis of collected information and their evalua-tion. Based on the results of the analysis, the work contains suggestions for improving the identified business management problems.

Šímová, Jana. 2015. Sustainability of social enterprises supported by Call no. 30 of the global grant HREOP Social Economy. Diploma Thesis. Prague: Faculty of Humanities, Charles University. The diploma thesis focuses on the sustainability of social enterprises founded by NGOs after the end of their projects supported by the Call no. 30 HREOP "Social Economy". The first part contains the theoretical definition of the concepts of social economy and social entrepreneurship and conception of social enterprise in the Czech environment. More attention is paid to work integration social enterprises. The concept of sustainability of social enterprises is presented from the perspective of international research and also the only one Czech survey on this subject - Evaluation of Supporting Social and Inclusive Entrepreneurship in HREOP. The research examined the ability of 11 work integration social enterprises to operate their business after the end of financial support from HREOP. The research is also analysing other support possibilities for social enterprises. All surveyed enterprises operate after the end of the project and most of them are financially self-sufficient or at least heading to it. How to achieve financial sustainability is an enduring problem facing SMEs. This study examines four factors (public relations, networking, organizational culture and authentic leadership,) likely to explain the variation in SMEs ' financial sustainability. The study aimed to assess the funding patterns available to SMEs in the municipality of Techiman, Ghana. In terms of financial sustainability, following statistical work on data from selected SMEs in Techiman,72 survey findings show that public relations and authentic leadership account for 19.6% of the variance. The study found 17.4% account for public relations and authentic leadership respectively and 11.1% authentic leadership. Further analysis on ANOVA showed that 3 of the variables (networking, organizational culture, and sustainable growth rate) showed a difference in the organizational culture, networking and sustainable growth rate when grouped by location-based SMEs. The study suggests that SMEs need to use public relations matrices and genuine leadership to pursue financial sustainability. The above will do much better if they also adapt and work with the organizational culture of the Along Roadside organizations, the networking of organizations other than Outskirt of the market and the financial prudence that leads to the financial sustainability of organizations within the market. Bc. Pavla Svobodová: Financial resources of social enterprises - vision and reality (2012) Abstract The theme of my thesis is looking into problems with social enterprise financing. Well set up concept of social enterprise financing is equally maintained with it's importance in foreign countries as well as the Czech republic. Based on research, my aim was to find the ideal concept of social enterprise financing and to test it on a chosen sample of Czech social enterprises. In the section "Social enterprise in the third sector and its funding" I explain the overview of financial definitions of foreign social enterprise and their focus on the funding. In here I am also deciding on my own perception of this issue - well mainly the ideal funding resources for social enterprise. This section also covers a "lighter" version of the ideal concept of social enterprise financing from a Czech point of view and explains various studies focusing on social enterprise financing currently available. The empirical section focuses on analysis of financing of chosen social enterprises and verifies the ideal concept in the Czech republic. The escalation of my thesis is a devised proposal which could seriously support the financial stability for Czech social enterprise.
