Accessibility is one of the most important outcomes of the transportation system. Public transport can be more attractive by providing "Door to door mobility" and development of transportation services is an important factor of social quality. Public transport accessibility has gained vital importance in designing and evaluating the transit system in terms of mobility and sustainability. Gender-based violence (GBV) on public transportation (PUT) is a global phenomenon that many women face daily. This phenomenon impacts women's mobility decisions, ranging from changing trip mode and route to cancelling the trip or even in some cases resigning from work. PUT is a vital component of urban life by providing the means of accessibility and mobility. Violence towards women on PUT often results in negative impacts on women's life, such as loss of opportunities, loss of accessibility, and extra financial burdens. The environment is a critical factor for participation for everyone. The need for accessible transportation and built environment for persons with disabilities to enjoy their basic human rights and fundamental freedoms cannot be overemphasized. This study sought to understand the daily experiences of persons with mobility disabilities with physical and transportation barriers in Accra-Ghana. Photovoice methodology was used to enable participants to tell their stories about access barriers that they encountered daily. People with visual impairments face numerous challenges in their daily lives, including mobility, access to information, independent living, and employment. Artificial Intelligence (AI) with Computer Vision (CV) has the potential to improve their daily lives, provide them with necessary independence, and it will also spawn new opportunities in education and employment. However, while many such AI/CV-based mobile applications are now available, these apps are still not the preferred choice amongst visually impaired persons and are generally limited to advanced users only, due to certain limitat

Abstract Circadian rhythms play important roles in many physiological processes and circadian rhythm disturbances are often observed in older people. Circadian rhythms are regulated by a molecular clock mechanism that is found in virtually all cells of the body. The core clock mechanism consists of transcriptional activators (BMAL1 and CLOCK) and the feedback negative regulators (PER and CRY). Beyond keeping daily time, the core clock factors regulate a daily gene expression program and this daily program is diminished with age. Skeletal muscle is critical in supporting systemic metabolism and

Interurban mobility from a systemic and integrated perspective is not much studied in Brazil. It comprises the movements that take place between cities, with the objective of meeting non-daily needs, through different modals of transport and different dimensions of administrative management. The use of a big data with mobile phone information in Brazil, modeling techniques and the crossing with secondary data from different sources, allowed an unprecedented overview at this mobility, and exposes how this integrated vision can contribute to the improvement of the planning. Rural areas in Italy and Europe, while vital to agriculture and tourism, face transport limitations that restrict access to essential services, education, and jobs, deepening socio-economic exclusion. Transport policies often prioritize urban centers, leaving rural areas underfunded and with inadequate options, making daily mobility and economic development challenging. This study examines good practices from different EU countries, using a holistic case study approach, combining a literature review and analysis of implemented projects.
