This study reports the first isolation and characterization of entomopathogenic micromycetes from naturally deceased specimens of two key orchard pests in Uzbekistan: the codling moth <em>Cydia pomonella</em> (Linnaeus, 1758) and the cherry slug sawfly <em>Caliroa cerasi</em> (Linnaeus, 1758).
