Toutes les personnes déficientes intellectuelles sont titulaires de leur droit de vote. Une loi de 2019 a en effet ouvert le droit de vote à toutes les personnes sous tutelle. La dignité de la personne imposait cette ouverture. Aucune condition de capacité, civile comme matérielle, n’est désormais requise pour être électeur.
