The Basics Concept Classification (BCC) is a “universal” scheme: it attempts to encompass all areas of human understanding. Whereas most universal schemes are organized around scholarly disciplines, the BCC is instead organized around phenomena (things), the relationships that exist among phenomena, and the properties that phenomena and relators may possess. This structure allows the BCC to apply facet analysis without requiring the use of “facet indicators.” The main motivation for the BCC was a recognition that existing classifications that are organized around disciplines serve interdisciplinary scholarship poorly. Complex concepts that might be understood quite differently across groups and individuals can generally be broken into basic concepts for which there is enough shared understanding for the purposes of classification. Documents, ideas, and objects are classified synthetically by combining entries from the schedules of phenomena, relators, and properties. The inclusion of separate schedules of-generally verb-like-relators is one of the most unusual aspects of the BCC. This (and the schedules of properties that serve as adjectives or adverbs) allows the production of sentence-like subject strings. Documents can then be classified in terms of the main arguments made in the document. BCC provides very precise descriptors of documents by combining phenomena, relators, and properties synthetically. The terminology employed in the BCC reduces terminological ambiguity. The BCC is still being developed and it needs to be fleshed out in certain respects. Yet it also needs to be applied; only in application can the feasibility and desirability of the classification be adequately assessed.

The article emphasizes the relevance of considering cultural codes in a number of modern humanitarian disciplines, characterizes the main approaches to the definition of the term “cultural code”. First, at the language level. Secondly, an approach that is based on the semiotic concept of culture, when the concept of a cultural code borders on the concepts of an archetype, symbol, sign. Thirdly, the concept of “cultural code” is considered together with such concepts as “national worldview”, “peculiarities of the national worldview” and “national-analytical idea”.The study considers the classifications of cultural codes by V. Krasnykh, G. Bagautdinova, M. Kovshova, T. Leontieva, N. Stepanova, S. Sanko, V. Maslova, M. Pimenova and others. In the studies, there are from four to several dozen types of cultural codes: anthropomorphic, astranomic, biomorphic, spiritual, zoomorphic, calendar-chronological, quantitative, landscape, food, object, spatial, vegetative, somatic, temporal, physical-geographical, phytomorphic, floristic and etc. In general, cultural codes as carriers of culturally marked information make it possible to identify the features of the system of views and values of a certain group of society. The use of cultural codes by writers is aimed at conveying their thoughts to the recipient most clearly and, conversely, ignorance of cultural codes hinders the interpretation of a work of art.

Neuroimaging techniques are widely used in neuroscience to visualize neural activity, to improve our understanding of brain mechanisms, and to identify biomarkers—especially for psychiatric diseases; however, each neuroimaging technique has several limitations. These limitations led to the development of multimodal neuroimaging (MN), which combines data obtained from multiple neuroimaging techniques, such as electroencephalography, functional magnetic resonance imaging, and yields more detailed information about brain dynamics. There are several types of MN, including visual inspection, data integration, and data fusion. This literature review aimed to provide a brief summary and basic information about MN techniques (data fusion approaches in particular) and classification approaches. Data fusion approaches are generally categorized as asymmetric and symmetric. The present review focused exclusively on studies based on symmetric data fusion methods (data-driven methods), such as independent component analysis and principal component analysis. Machine learning techniques have recently been introduced for use in identifying diseases and biomarkers of disease. The machine learning technique most widely used by neuroscientists is classification—especially support vector machine classification. Several studies differentiated patients with psychiatric diseases and healthy controls with using combined datasets. The common conclusion among these studies is that the prediction of diseases increases when combining data via MN techniques; however, there remain a few challenges associated with MN, such as sample size. Perhaps in the future N-way fusion can be used to combine multiple neuroimaging techniques or nonimaging predictors (eg, cognitive ability) to overcome the limitations of MN.

THE QUALITATIVE STUDY DESCRIBED in this article examines the knowledge of basic concepts demonstrated by six young deaf children* with high/low levels of mathematical ability as measured by performance on a formal (i.e. Bracken Basic Concept Scale) and informal (i.e. classification/sorting task) assessment. Findings indicate that children with lower mathematics ability, as measured by the Test of Early Mathematics Ability (TEMA-3), also demonstrated limited understanding of basic concepts and weaker thinking skills as evidenced by a lack of ability to categorise or classify at a level comparable to their more mathematically able peers. Such performance suggests that a foundation in basic concept knowledge and thinking skills may be critical to the development of early numeracy skills.

This article discusses the basic principles of classification of musical instruments of ancient theorists. Characteristics of ancient taxonomies, features of classification principles and their relationship with Western European theoretical thought about musical instruments are given. The author comes to the conclusion that ancient classification theories had a significant influence on Western European organology, both in relation to the concepts of systematization of musical instruments and in the terminology used. The study of ancient music theory allows us to identify the origins of the ideas of Western European taxonomies and modern classifications of musical instruments.

Pattern classification is very unique in traditional medicine. Kampo medical patterns have transformed over time during Japan’s history. In the 17th to 18th centuries, Japanese doctors advocated elimination of the Ming medical theory and followed the basic concepts put forth by Shang Han Lun and Jin Gui Yao Lue in the later Han dynasty (25–220 AD). The physician Todo Yoshimasu (1702–1773) emphasized that an appropriate treatment could be administered if a set of patterns could be identified. This principle is still referred to as “matching of pattern and formula” and is the basic concept underlying Kampo medicine today. In 1868, the Meiji restoration occurred, and the new government changed its policies to follow that of the European countries, adopting only Western medicine. Physicians trained in Western medicine played an important role in the revival of Kampo medicine, modernizing Kampo patterns to avoid confusion with Western biomedical terminology. In order to understand the Japanese version of traditional disorders and patterns, background information on the history of Kampo and its role in the current health care system in Japan is important. In this paper we overviewed the formation of Kampo patterns.

First classification systems of mineral reserves and resources appeared in the beginning of the 20th century, which coincided with the mining development in the UK, Germany and the USA. Modern classifications of mineral raw materials and energy resources, their terminology, definitions and concepts have been developed and improved for more than 40 years. Separate development of the most commonly used classifications has led to the emergence of various definitions and determinations of characteristics of the same or similar categories of mineral reserves and resources according to geological and technical-economic characteristics. The article proposes methodological approaches of "operational harmonization" (universal classifier) as a toolkit for resource management and investment analysis of deposits (subsoil areas) of solid (metallic and non-metallic) minerals. The analysis and classification of the resources of the complex subsoil use project, which includes the use of geothermal resources, salt reserves, and the accompanying extraction of useful components from the associated reservoir waters, which differ in the degree of study and implementation, have been carried out. For this Solotvino project, full consideration of all classification features of both individual component resources and the project as a whole is recorded, only when applying the UNFC classification.

In the introduction the history of botanical exploration of the Himalayas is considered starting from the late XVIIIth century up to present time. The next part of the article is devoted to the history of vegetation mapping proper. Vegetation maps relating to the Himalayas as a whole and to its different parts are enumerated including the vegetation map of Nepal in 8 sheets at scale 1 : 2 500 000 by the author (1971 to 1985) and his two large-scale maps (1 : 50 000) covering small areas in Eastern and Central Nepal (1974 and 1977). The above vegetation maps have been constructed using the basic concepts of vegetation level and vegetation series by Gaussen and Ozenda along with the biogeographic concept taking into account the diversity of flora and vegetation. The concept of vegetation level reflects the altitudinal zonation of vegetation, 11 vegetation levels being distinguished in Central Himalayas. The other basic concept is that of vegetation series depicting the dynamics of vegetation cover with respect to human activity. One series includes all the vegetation types which terminate, by natural evolution, in one climax vegetation type (potential vegetation). For Nepal about 100 vegetation series have been described and mapped.

The article carries out a theoretical and legal analysis of the concept and criteria of legal globalization and its impact on national legal systems, stages of its formation, features, classification criteria. Various views on the periodization and reasons for the formation of globalization processes are presented, the main ones being information technologies, which fundamentally change the entire system of socio-economic relations, transfer organizational-economic relations, transport and communication links to a qualitatively new technical level; aggravation of problems that are common to all people and countries of the world and important from the point of view of the preservation and development of human civilization. The well-founded opinion that globalization is a complex, multifaceted, multidirectional process, as a result of which there is a strengthening of relationships between the natural and social world, between countries and peoples, cultures and states, as well as between individual individuals. The forms and methods of the effect of globalization on the political and economic, legal and social life of states and peoples are considered. A classification of global problems that contribute to legal globalization and require the unification of efforts of all subjects and the development of joint solutions is proposed. The main directions of its influence on the legal sphere are analyzed: universalization and unification of law. The main direction of the influence of globalization on law is its universalization, which consists in the development of common basic principles and institutions of law, the elimination of contradictions between national legal systems. In turn, law becomes an important (valuable) tool of globalization, since the absence of a single legal field, its lack of formation (contradiction) slows down globalization processes in various spheres of formation and functioning of world society. In addition, law acts as the main ideological basis of globalization, which is designed to contain the negative aspects and consequences of globalization. It is concluded that the growing trend towards international legal globalization contributes to the emergence of new principles and norms of law, the establishment of which previously belonged to the sphere of internal affairs of sovereign states. This significantly updates the state and legal systems of the members of the world community in the context of modern universal standards. The globalization of law itself, the progressive development of universal properties, norms, forms and procedures of the legal type of social life is a necessary stage and demonstrates the ability of law to regulate the processes of societal globalization within the framework of the general legal world order. Concepts are an integral part of a forensic activity forming a specific terminological system, determining forensic science’s metalanguage, distinguishing it from the related legal sciences: criminalistics and procedural law. The article aims to review the conceptual system of forensic science. The authors point out the heterogeneity of its terminological and conceptual systems, which results from the synthetic nature of this science. Based on the existing classifications of concepts and terms of the general theory of forensic science, a new classification is proposed, including not only traditionally recognized terms such as general and specific scientific, legal notions and special concepts of forensic expertology language, but also the so-called expert concepts: interdisciplinary, intermediate notions, obtained as a result of the transformation of basic sciences’s data. Interdisciplinary notions form the theoretical and conceptual framework for some kinds of forensic examinations, first of all, complex forensic psychological and psychiatric and forensic psychological examinations, which traditionally refer to them as ‘’expert’’. When used in quotation marks, the word ‘’expert’’ indicates the terms’ conditional character, indicating the scope of application and functioning of the concepts, contrasting them to the legal concepts of the same name and basic sciences’ categories.

This study explored the pre-service basic science teachers’ misconceptions using a six-tier diagnostic (STD) test. This study used a cross-sectional survey research model with respondents, namely pre-service basic science teachers (PBSTs) who are first-year students. The six-tier diagnostic test consisted of three questions about change in matter (CIM), classification of matter (COM), and separation of mixtures (SOM). Each test package consists of six questions ranging from questions at the macroscopic level, microscopic communication, level of confidence, symbolic visualization to represent microscopic conditions, and self-confidence in representing concepts. The combination of answers and decisions in six-tier diagnostic includes scientific conception (SC), almost scientific conception (ASC), lack of confidence (LC), lack of knowledge (LK), misconception (MSC), have no conception (HNC). The study showed that the conceptual mastery condition is dominated by the misconceptions (MSC) category. The condition for pre-service basic science teachers’ mastery concepts having the most scientific conception category is related to changes in matter (CIM), while the condition that shows the least scientific conception category is related to material classification (COM). The results can map the conditions of mastery of the pre-service basic science teachers’ concept so that strategies can be designed to correct the emerging misconceptions.

With the rapid development of the Internet and social media, a large amount of text data is constantly generated, and text classification has become an important task. Text classification is an important branch in the field of natural language processing and has attracted the attention of many researchers in recent years. Due to the ease of editing text data, most texts in the network are manually constructed and uploaded by users. Therefore, the standardization of online texts and the classification of texts with different granularity are of great significance in the field of information retrieval. This article introduces the basic concepts of text classification and three text classification methods: knowledge engineering (rule) based text classification methods, traditional machine learning-based text classification methods, and deep neural network-based text classification methods. This article also analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the three methods. Subsequently, the basic concepts and common models of graph neural networks were explored. An application case of graph neural networks in text classification is provided. This article provides effective suggestions for text classification applications in the field of natural language processing.

And Leo Barnett, who worked as a Manager to work with clients in an advertising Agency, spoke in this regard as follows: "Advertising can not be considered the noblest creation of the human mind, what many of her lawyers would like to assure the public. It in no way supports the entire structure of society, democracy and the free world". However, despite the large number of such statements in relation to marketing activities or possible irritation from memorable advertising phrases that hardly "come out" of my head, no one can deny the importance of advertising as an integral part of modern life, which determines the relevance of this topic. The Korean word ‘chaek-im’(responsibility) is used in different meanings which I respectively name blameworthiness-responsibility, liability-responsibility, role-responsibility, and pseudo-responsibility. The concept of blameworthiness-responsibility refers to the blameworthiness on the actor in relation to an act or its outcome, the concept of liability-responsibility the potential occurrence of a burden, or the burden itself, in relation to a past norm-violating act, and the concept of role-responsibility a kind of task asked for as a norm. Each concept can be classified into sub-meanings.
 Also responsibility can be classified in various ways according to subject, addressee, object, sanction, reason, norm, etc., which are the basic elements of the structure of responsibility, as well as according to the nature, for example, pre-event responsibility v. post-event responsibility, backward-looking responsibility v. forward-looking responsibility, and positive responsibility v. negative responsibility, etc.
 Lastly, I propose response-based theory of responsibility, which, I think, can give the most coherent understanding of the various concepts and structure-comprising elements of responsibility.

The study observes the task of concept drift detection in multiclass applications classification tasks on the example of collected data set of network traffic in the form of IP packets from Purpose of the study: development and software implementation of an algorithm for a concept change detection in tasks of multiclass mobile application traffic classification using ANNs of the autoencoder type (AC). Novelty of the study consists in drift detection of one or several mobile applications based on changes in the statistical characteristics of one or several attributes without usage of true class labels implying ANNs of the autoencoder type. Results: The study developed an algorithm for concepts drift of application detection based on the analysis of changes in the statistical characteristics of attributes or a noticeable decrease in the quality of the analyzed applications classification. As for fundamental model of concept drift detector of analyzed applications, the study used autoencoders. The research contains basic theoretical positions of the algorithm creation. The study shows that in case of trained AC only on high-quality prototypes, it will be able to reconstruct normal observations but not abnormal observations (unknown concepts). As a result, when the autoencoder detects a significant reconstruction error, it classifies the observation data as abnormal. Estimation of reconstruction errors of the analyzed applications and excess of threshold value assess the presence of drift. The Python software environment provides the implementation of the presented solution.

The article deals with the description of the linguistics of speech and its theoretical justification can be based on the main conceptual principles of the metalanguage of monosyllabic description, which includes the main concepts of the theory of real description. Metalanguage is used in applied linguistics to describe other natural languages, and, in the author’s opinion, individual utterances as well. In idiomology as a science of speech, linguistic data constitute a certain monosyllabic linguarie, which distinguishes the metalanguage of its description from dialectological or other types of linguistic terminology, thereby positioning the specificity of describing speech as a real language system in the context of highly organized conceptual approaches to the language system. The problems of metalanguage monosyllabic description are outlined, which are in the lens of modern theoretical and methodological linguistic paradigms, because metalanguage is also considered the language of linguistics, which is characterized by a complete set and classification of linguistic knowledge. At the same time, the concept of metalanguage is expanded in dialectology and specified in the context of linguistics, focusing on the monosyllabic description of speech. The novelty of the speech description lies in the fact that it is based on a monosyllabic linguarie, which is a complex process of scientific and cognitive activity in the modern linguistic paradigm. The metalanguage of monosyllabic description needs to update the system of basic principles and special methods of linguistic research, the methodology of speech description according to a clearly planned organization and research apparatus. The emphasis on the importance of the analysis of colloquialism lies in the composition of the metalanguage of the monosyllabic description, which contains central and universal categories that can be used in the study of various language systems: general linguistic terms and concepts (speaker, colloquial speaker), as well as supplemented and clarified methodological concepts of the monosyllabic linguistic description: spoken community, spoken com- munication, spoken language. A complete presentation of the metalanguage of the monolingual description of the linguarium can be seen in the glossary of the metalanguage of the description for the speech language system.

By examining these issues, I aim to shed light on the ambiguity of the clinical term ‘delusion’ and its extension, as well as provide clues as to why philosophers are increasingly joining the ranks of psychiatrists, psychologists, and neuroscientists in the effort to come to a comprehensive understanding of delusion.

The goal of any library is to ensure high quality and general availability of information retrieval tools. The paper describes the project implemented by the Russian State Library (RSL) to present Library Bibliographic Classification as a Networked Knowledge Organization System. The project goal is to support content and provide tools for ensuring system’s interoperability with other resources of the same nature (i.e. with Linked Data Vocabularies) in the global network environment. The project was partially supported by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR).The RSL General Classified Catalogue (GCC) was selected as the main data source for the Classification system of knowledge organization. The meaning of each classification number is expressed by complete string of wordings (captions), rather than the last level caption alone. Data converted to the Resource Description Framework (RDF) files based on the standard set of properties defined in the Simple Knowledge Organization System (SKOS) model was loaded into the semantic storage for subsequent data processing using the SPARQL query language. In order to enrich user queries for search of resources, the RSL has published its Classification System in the form of Linked Open Data (https://lod.rsl.ru) for searching in the RSL electronic catalogue. Currently, the work is underway to enable its smooth integration with other LOD vocabularies. The SKOS mapping tags are used to differentiate the types of connections between SKOS elements (concepts) existing in different concept schemes, for example, UDC, MeSH, authority data.The conceptual schemes of the leading classifications are fundamentally different from each other. Establishing correspondence between concepts is possible only on the basis of lexical and structural analysis to compute the concept similarity as a combination of attributes.The authors are looking forward to working with libraries in Russia and other countries to create a common space of Linked Open Data vocabularies.

Today, with the effect of modernization, important changes have occurred in family structures. Many factors such as the roles of individuals in the family, functions of the family, family structure, and intra-family communication have been affected by this change. The perspective of young adults towards the family is also significantly affected by this difference in family structures.In this study, it is aimed to examine the family perceptions of preschool teacher candidates through mind maps. 50 preschool teacher candidates, who took effective communication and parent education course, participated in the study designed with a qualitative research design. With the mind maps used as a data collection tool, the mental images of the preschool teacher candidates about the concept of "family" were tried to be determined. The themes obtained from the mind maps of preschool teacher candidates were grouped under seven headings. These titles are it was determined as "basic concepts about family types, basic concepts about family functions, basic concepts about family members, basic concepts about feelings towards family, basic concepts about family values, basic concepts about communication, basic concepts about elements that disrupt family unity". Major branches were taken as basis in determining the themes and sub-branches were used in determining the codes. In the creation of the codes, pictures and words were considered and the codes were placed within the relevant themes. In addition, the analysis results were expressed as frequency, frequency averages and percentages. The basic concepts associated with family types in the research; settlement, authority, size, biological and foster family themes. In this category, it was concluded that the theme that preschool teacher candidates predominantly included in their mind maps was family according to size. The themes created in the classification made according to family functions; biological functions, psychological functions, educational functions, social functions, cultural functions, economic functions. It was determined that the theme with the highest frequency was social functions. In the research, the basic concepts associated with family members were gathered under the nuclear family and extended family themes, and it was concluded that the nuclear family theme was more dominant. Emotions towards the family were categorized under the sub-themes of positive and negative emotions. It has been observed that positive feelings towards the family are given more place in the mind maps of pre-school teacher candidates. Themes for the basic concepts associated with the values of the family; power, universalism, benevolence, tradition, conformity, and security. Benevolence and tradition are the themes with the highest frequency in this category. Basic concepts associated with communication; attitudes, communication with the environment, communication within the family, technology tools, and outputs of correct communication. Among these themes, the themes with the highest frequency are; attitudes and family communication. It has been concluded that the basic concepts of lovelessness and incompatibility have the highest frequency in the category of elements that disrupt family integrity. In this study, mind maps were effective in revealing the family perceptions of preschool teacher candidates.

Based on the use of the activity approach in humanitarian Studies, the methodic foundations of the formation of the didactic concept-terminological syStem “socio-cultural activity” were formulated and subStantiated. The classification of the main concepts of the proposed terminological syStem was carried out, in particular, the basic and derived concepts were highlighted. Based on the terminological analysis of scientific sources, author’s definitions of main concepts such as: person, activity, behavior, society, space are proposed. Based on the principles of terminological work, basic concepts are expanded into derived concepts of the proposed didactic syStem, such as: human activity, social activity, cultural activity, sociocultural activity, sociocultural space, sociocultural sphere, sociocultural syStem, sociocultural complex, sociocultural cluSter, sociocultural induStry, etc. The author’s vision of Structuring spheres of socio-cultural activity based on the selection of their types and forms is proposed. The components of the socio-cultural space at different taxonomic levels from global to local, as well as at the level of cooperation of various taxonomic subjects are subStantiated. Basic and related spheres of socio-cultural activity are identified and Structured by species, and their subject components at the macro-, meso-, micro- and nano-levels of socio-cultural analysis are determined. We can State that the didactic concept-terminological syStem “socio-cultural activity” is based on the categories: person, activity, society, space and is described through the concretization of such general scientific concepts as: space – a syStem of relations and connections; sphere – a set (plurality) of constituent components diStinguished by various characteriStics; syStem – a combination of elements and their connections; a complex is a system with a high density of connections. In the future, the proposed syStem can be used for the preparation of educational and methodological publications, in particular, as the basic conception of the educational manual “Socio-cultural activity”, as well as for the formation of terminological and reference publications and the creation of electronic training courses on the MOODLE platform, in particular, the filling of their components such as “Keywords” and “Glossary”.

Abstract Although the diagnosis and classification of most cases of the myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) is usually accomplished without difficulty, a minority of cases may pose diagnostic problems. In many cases the diagnostic dilemma can be solved by adhering to basic guidelines recommended for evaluation of patients suspected of having MDS, and in particular to the quality of the blood and bone marrow specimens submitted for morphologic, immunophenotypic and genetic studies. In other cases, such as patients who have hypocellular MDS or MDS with fibrosis, the criteria for making a diagnosis may be difficult if not impossible to apply, and in still others the diagnostic uncertainty is because the minimal criteria necessary to establish the diagnosis of MDS are not always clearly stated. In this review, some of these diagnostic problems are addressed and some general guidelines for resolving them are suggested. In addition, data are presented that illustrate that the WHO classification offers a valuable tool in the diagnosis and classification of MDS.

An attempt is made to construct a system classification of differentiated quotations based on the theory of fractals. The essence of the method is the construction of fragments, each based on a universal classification model. It involves the use of dialectic laws to identify systemic links between concepts. In this case, the content of the model itself is revealed through six consecutive conceptual formations, starting with the basic concept and resulting in a five-element group. Such fragments have five system properties: unambiguousness, coordinate cartography, sub-fullness, systemic historicity and predictability. The most important advantage of this approach is that the quality of citation is in direct connection with the scientific level of the reference publication, which makes it possible to measure the quality and tightness of the links between scientific schools and the characteristics of the so-called “invisible” colleges.

Establishing the semantic similarity of information is an integral part of the process of solving any information retrieval tasks, including tasks related to big data processing, discovery of semantic web services, categorization and classification of information, etc. The special functions to determine quantitative indicators of degree of semantic similarity of the information allow ranking the found information on its semantic proximity to the purpose or search request/template. Forming such measures should take into account many aspects from the meanings of the matched concepts to the specifics of the business-task in which it is done. Usually, to construct such similarity functions, semantic approaches are combined with structural ones, which provide syntactic comparison of concepts descriptions. This allows to do descriptions of the concepts more detail, and the impact of syntactic matching can be significantly reduced by using more expressive descriptive logics to represent information and by moving the focus to semantic properties. Today, DL-ontologies are the most developed tools for representing semantics, and the mechanisms of reasoning of descriptive logics (DL) provide the possibility of logical inference. Most of the estimates presented in this paper are based on basic DLs that support only the intersection constructor, but the described approaches can be applied to any DL that provides basic reasoning services. This article contains the analysis of existing approaches, models and measures based on descriptive logics. Classification of the estimation methods both on the levels of defining similarity and the matching types is proposed. The main attention is paid to establishing the similarity between concepts (conceptual level models). The task of establishing the value of similarity between instances and between concept and instance consists of finding the most specific concept for the instance / instances and evaluating the similarity between the concepts. The term of existential similarity is introduced. In this paper the examples of applying certain types of measures to evaluate the degree of semantic similarity of notions and/or knowledge based on the geometry ontology is demonstrated.

The article analyses the main indicators of the dairy farming industry in Ukraine for the period from 2020 to 2022. The definition of the concept of «costs» according to the normative legal acts of Ukraine and economic sources has been summarized. Inconsistencies and discrepancies in the interpretation of this basic economic concept have been identified, which requires the further research to unify the categorical apparatus for accounting for the costs of activity. As a result of the research, it was established that there is no definition of the category of «main production» in domestic regulatory acts. The study of the categorical apparatus regarding the definition of the concept of «main production» is summarized. The author’s own definition of the concept of «main agricultural production» as a purposeful production process aimed at biological transformations to obtain finished agricultural products and/or additional biological assets is proposed. The article generalizes the classification of the expenses of business entities. Particular attention is paid to the classification of costs of basic production. In particular, the economic classification of costs, which distinguishes between the costs of live and embodied labor with the accounting classification of costs of basic production in dairy farming, has been agreed. The costs as the basis for the formation of the cost of production (works, services) and the composition of costs included in the cost price according to Accounting standards number 16 «Costs» were considered. In particular, the composition of direct production costs and general production costs was studied. The author proposes to group the general production costs of the dairy industry depending on the volume of production for the purpose of their further distribution and inclusion in the cost of production. The study has revealed that there is no definition of the concept of «biological transformation costs» in domestic regulations and international accounting and financial reporting standards. It has been established that most authors equate the concept of «biological transformation costs» with the concept of «production costs». The author proves the falsity of statements about the identity of these concepts. The production costs of the dairy farming industry, which are not related to the costs of biological transformations, are allocated.

Classification in remote sensing is a very difficult procedure, because it involves a lot of steps and data preprocessing. Fuzzy Set Theory plays a very important role in classification problems, because the fuzzy approach can capture the structure of the image. Most concepts are fuzzy in nature. Fuzzy sets allow to deal with uncertain and imprecise data. Many classification problems are formalized by using fuzzy concepts, because crisp classes represent an oversimplification of reality, leading to wrong results of classification. Fuzzy Set Theory is an important mathematical tool to process complex and fuzzy da-ta. This theory is suitable for high resolution remote sensing image classification. Fuzzy sets and fuzzy numbers are used to determine basic probability assignment. Fuzzy numbers are used for detection of the optimal number of clusters in Fuzzy Clustering Methods. Image is modeled as a fuzzy graph, when we represent the dissimilitude between pixels in some classification tasks. Fuzzy sets are also applied in different tasks of processing digital optical images. It was noted, that fuzzy sets play an important role in analysis of results of classification, when different agreement measures between the reference data and final classification are considered. In this work arithmetic operations of fuzzy numbers using alpha-cut method were considered. Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division of fuzzy numbers and square root of fuzzy number were described in this paper. Moreover, it was illustrated examples with different arithmetic operations of fuzzy numbers. The article is aimed at researching the specifics and features of the concept of «creative industries» and defining the criteria that would identify activities as belonging to the creative sector precisely; studying the concept of «creative industries» and their relationship with «cultural industries»; disclosing the essence of various classifications of cultural and creative industries; generalization of theoretical approaches to the studies on this sector. As result of the research, the main approaches of scholars, practitioners and organizations on the definition of the concepts of «cultural industries» and «creative industries» and the peculiarities of the development of this sector of the economy are analyzed and disclosed. The genesis of these concepts in various literary sources is highlighted and the formation of the creative industry as an integral part in the transition from industrial society to intellectual is shown. The relationship and the proportion of cultural and creative industries are examined. The role of creative industries in innovative processes is considered, which allows to identify their impact on both economic and social development of society. Both the personal and the organizational models of classification of creative industries in historical retrospective of periods of creative industries development are provided. The peculiarities and characterizations of the models of classification of creative industries and the basic conditions for the inclusion of industries in the creative sector are determined. Based on the analysis and generalization, the main criteria are allocated that will allow identifying activities as belonging to the creative sector. Prospects for further research in this direction are the use of creative industry criteria to develop a universal system of classification of creative industries and a comprehensive idea of development of the creative sector in general.

This article deals with the classification of specialized texts based on the linguistic typology of terminology units and their density within the texts. With this in mind, we review some basic concepts of text linguistics in the context of specialized communication (general texts and specialized texts) in order to establish the differences between communicative registers. We also examine the concept of terminology unit, using the Communicative Theory of Terminology (CTT). In terms of the materials used, we worked with a text related to the topic of ''human genome'', classified into different levels of specialization. To this respect we also offer a brief description of the computer analysis carried out in the extraction and detection of the terminology units within the texts, and we present the results, classifying the texts into different levels of specialization.

The concepts of diagnostic species and fidelity have been used frequently in European phytosociology but rarely in North American vegetation classification. We developed a classification of the vegetation of a mountainous area of northern Utah and compared the diagnostic species approach with the indicator-species approach of habitat type classification sensu Daubenmire prevailing in the U.S. Interior West. A total of 157 forest and nonforested plots were described by vascular plants and basic environmental factors. Clustering with RandomForest classification and ordination reduced the original number of plots to 26 meaningful vegetation units. Of these 26 units, 22 were strong, having four or more faithful species. Four units were weak, having less than three faithful species. We identified species diagnostic of particular vegetation units that are potentially useful for recognition of these units in the field. We proposed vegetation types at the level of vegetation alliances and associations, and correlated them with environmental factors. We found our vegetation units to be more strongly associated with the underlying environment than major habitat types sensu Daubenmire. Our approach to classification has the potential to directly link vegetation with the physical environment and could be the basis for a substantial improvement of vegetation classification in the central Rocky Mountains.

The physical laws related to star formation in galaxies are the key to understanding the formation and evolution of galaxies. The dust in the interstellar medium has a significant effect on both the star formation and the observational properties of the galaxy. Understanding the properties, effects, and evolution of cosmology dust in galaxies is an essential part of a complete picture of galaxy formation and evolution. In this study, the background of interstellar dust research in galaxy formation will be summarized. Some basic concepts and physical properties of galaxies are introduced. The definition, classification and evolution of galaxies will be discussed. It then states the properties of cosmology dust in galaxies, including the basic concepts of physics, properties, generation, and evolution of dust. It will then focus on the role of interstellar dust in galaxies, including its basic concepts and background. These results shed light on guiding better understanding of the functions of cosmology dust in galaxy formation.

<span>Because the rate at which documents are being generated outstrips librarians’ ability to catalog them, an accurate, automated scheme of subject classification is desirable. However, simplistic word-counting schemes miss many important concepts; librarians must enrich algorithms with background knowledge to escape basic problems such as polysemy and synonymy. I have developed a script that uses Wikipedia as context for analyzing the subjects of nonfiction books. Though a simple method built quickly from freely available parts, it is partially successful, suggesting the promise of such an approach for future research.</span><br />
