Il mio lavoro di ricerca esplora le recenti dinamiche e controversie che stanno attanagliando la crescita della gig economy. Il lavoro par dall’analisi della varietà semantica con cui il fenomeno è appellato, prima fucina di incomprensioni e dibattitti. Una mancata condivisione del termine per definire il fenomeno si rispecchia anche sulle posizioni discusse in merito allo status dei lavoratori della gig economy. La sentenza del tribunale di Londra in merito alla classificazione deli lavoratori di Uber come dipendenti ha alimentato il dibattito sul corretto inquadramento i questi lavoratori.
