Tire wear particles (TWPs) are generated by friction between the road and the tire. TWPs are one of the major microplastics found in environmental samples, such as road dust, particulate matter (PM), and sediment. TWP contents in environmental samples are generally analyzed using the pyrolysis technique. Tire tread compounds of heavy vehicles are usually composed of natural rubber (NR). Isoprene and dipentene are the principal pyrolysis products of NR, and dipentene is employed as the key marker for the determination of the TWP contents. The generation of p-cymene from the catalytic dehydrogenation of dipentene is one of the most vital approaches for the synthesis of p-cymene in the chemical industry. Herein, CTF polymer was synthesized by an ionothermal method via using terephthalonitrile as monomer and NaCl-KCl-ZnCl2 ternary mixture as catalyst and solvent, and Pd/CTF catalyst was prepared by loading CTF matrix with Pd nanoparticles via a chemical reduction method. The as-obtained Pd/CTF catalyst with the loading amount of 5 wt% Pd showed remarkable catalytic activity in the dehydrogenation of dipentene to p-cymene with a hi

Reverse-transcription PCR and real-time quantitative PCR analysis revealed that the expression of ScinGOBP2 was strongly biased towards the female antennae. The softening point and molecular weight of polyterpene resins are critical for their main use (adherence). 4,4′-Diaminobiphenyl reacts with 2,4-pentanedione in absolute ethanol in a molar ratio 1 : 2 to form mainly the product of [1 + 2] condensation, 4,4′-(biphenyl-4,4′-diyldinitrilo)dipentan-2-one (H2L). The Schiff base was used as tetradentate chelating ligand to coordinate CoII and NiII chlorides leading to complexes where the ratio of metal ligand was found to be 2 : 1 or 2 : 2. All the synthesized products were characterized by elemental analysis, infrared, electronic, and mass spectroscopy, 1H NMR, and DSC.
