AbstractThe false codling moth (FCM), Thaumatotibia leucotreta (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) is an insect pest which represents an important threat to the production and marketing of a wide range of agricultural crops in the African-Caribbean-Pacific (ACP) countries. The FCM reduces not only the yield and quality of the crop but also as a quarantine insect pest, restricts the trade of susceptible agricultural produce on the international market. In addition, little research has been conducted in the ACP countries on the bio-ecology and sustainable management of this pest, especially on vegetables

Tourism earnings account for a significant proportion of their GDP, and they have an overwhelming reliance on tourism as a source of service exports. The general trends in tourism earnings and volatilities in country risk ratings often go hand in hand, especially for small touristic countries in that region. Ways and problems of grain export of Ukraine in the conditions of the war are studied. The main ways to restore grain exports are the Ukraine-EU "solidarity lanes" and the Black Sea Grain Initiative. However, these measures only partially solved the problem of grain exports from Ukraine in 2022 — at the beginning of 2023. In 2022, the Ukrainian grain exports decreased by 32.6% compared to the previous year's volume of exports. The full-scale military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine caused a sharp increase in world prices for wheat, and the initiation of "solidarity lanes"
