Fathi and Pageault have recently shown a connection between Auslander’s generalized recurrent set$\text{GR}(f)$and Easton’s strong chain recurrent set. We study$\text{GR}(f)$by examining that connection in more detail, as well as connections with other notions of recurrence. We give equivalent definitions that do not refer to a metric. In particular, we show that$\text{GR}(f^{k})=\text{GR}(f)$for any$k>0$, and give a characterization of maps for which the generalized recurrent set is different from the ordinary chain recurrent set.

The Levi-Civita connection and the k-th generalized Tanaka-Webster connection are defined on a real hypersurface M in a non-flat complex space form. For any nonnull constant k and any vector field X tangent to M the k-th Cho operator F X ( k ) is defined and is related to both connections. If X belongs to the maximal holomorphic distribution D on M, the corresponding operator does not depend on k and is denoted by F X and called Cho operator. In this paper, real hypersurfaces in non-flat space forms such that F X S = S F X , where S denotes the Ricci tensor of M and a further condition is sati

It is shown that the structural theory of Molino for Riemannian foliations on compact manifolds and complete Riemannian manifolds may be generalized to a Riemannian foliations with Ehresmann connection. Within this generalization there are no restrictions on the codimension of the foliation and on the dimension of the foliated manifold. For a Riemannian foliation (M,F) with Ehresmann connection it is proved that the closure of any leaf forms a minimal set, the family of all such closures forms a singular Riemannian foliation (M,F¯¯¯¯). Résumé :
The purpose of the paper is to study the notion of CR-submanifold and the existence of some structures on a hypersurface of a quarter symmetric non metric connection in a quasi-Sasakian manifold. We study the existence of a Kahler structure on $M$ and the existence of a globally metric frame $f$-structure in sence of Goldberg S.I., Yano K. We discuss the integrability of distributions on $M$ and geometry of their leaves. We have tries to relate this result with those before obtained by Goldberg V., Rosca R. devoted to Sasakian manifold and conformal connections.

Résumé :
This research is motivated by the lack of connection capabilities junior high school students in Bandung West. This study will examine the achievement of matemati connection capabilities of students usinglearning reciprocalteaching with the usual approach. The method used is an experimental method to design pretest-posttest control group, ie design involving at least two groups and randomly sampling classes. At the beginning and end of the study both classes were given the test. The population in this sample is the entire junior high school students in Bandung West whose characteristics have a

Résumé :
On a pseudo-Riemannian manifold (M, g) we consider ∇ the Levi-Cività connection associated to metric g and a function f : M → ℝ whose pseudo-Riemannian Hessian [Formula: see text] is non-degenerate and with constant signature. We study properties of the pseudo-Riemannian manifold (M, h), [Formula: see text] in terms of local computation. Investigating the conditions for existence of the equal connections [Formula: see text], produced by g and h, we determine classes of explicit Ricci flat gradient solitons for some particular forms of g, arising from remarkable physics models.

Résumé :
Let F be a distribution function on [0,∞) with finite expectation. In terms of the hazard rate of F several conditions are given which simultaneously imply subexponentiality of F and of its integrated tail distribution F1. These conditions apply to a wide class of longtailed distributions, and they can also be used in connection with certain random walks which occur in risk theory and queueing theory.

Résumé :
This paper treats the connection problem of expressing sums of finite products of Chebyshev polynomials of the third and fourth kinds in terms of five classical orthogonal polynomials. In fact, by carrying out explicit computations each of them are expressed as linear combinations of Hermite, generalized Laguerre, Legendre, Gegenbauer, and Jacobi polynomials which involve some terminating hypergeometric functions F 0 2 , F 1 2 , and F 2 3 .
