The Competing Language Processing Task was designed to reflect the dynamic processes carried out in working memory during language comprehension and production by requiring that the subject hold words in temporary storage while analyzing and responding as true or false to statements. The development of the procedure is described and results of testing of 68 normal children ages 6, 8, 10, and 12 years are presented.

The purpose of the article is to determine the place of deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities in the system of administrative penalties on the basis of the analysis of the achievements of legal science. The article identifies the place of deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities in the system of administrative penalties. Signs of deprivation of the right to hold certain positions are: the offense was related to a person's position, professional or other activity; committed by a person who at the time of the encroachment held the position or carried out the activity that he used to commit the offense; the nature of the offense, the identity of the perpetrator and other circumstances of the case, which indicate the impossibility (convince the court of the inexpediency) to preserve the perpetrator's right to hold a certain position or activity in the future. It is concluded that it is expedient to regulate in detail in the current legislation proceedings on deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for administrative offenses related to corruption, as there are no administrative procedural rules that establish the procedure for its implementation. In this case, there is a question of the possibility of using a cross-sectoral analogy of the law as a means of filling gaps in the law, in particular to apply to the procedure of criminal punishment not related to imprisonment, in the form of deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities. In particular, it is appropriate to consider the issue of imposing on the authorized body for probation during the administrative penalty in the form of deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities to monitor compliance with court decisions by owners of enterprises, institutions, organizations or their authorized bodies. offenders and bodies that have the right to revoke a license to engage in certain activities.

Abstract For the prognosis of stroke, patients with moyamoya disease (MMD) require the estimation of remaining cerebrovascular reactivity. For this purpose, CO2-triggered BOLD fMRI by use of short breath-hold periods seems to be a highly available alternative to nuclear medicine methods. Too long breath-hold periods are difficult to perform, too short breath-hold periods do not lead to sufficient BOLD signal changes. We aimed to investigate the required minimum breath-hold duration to detect distinct BOLD signals in the tissue of healthy subjects to find out how long the minimum breath-hold duration in clinical diagnostics of MMD should be. A prospective study was performed. Fourteen healthy subjects underwent fMRI during end-expiration breath-hold periods of different duration (3, 6, 9, and 12 s). Additionally, we compared the influence of paced and self-paced breathing altering the breath-hold periods. Data of a patient with MMD was evaluated to investigate whether the tested procedure is suitable for clinical use. Significant global BOLD signal increases were detected after breath-hold periods of 6, 9, and 12 s. The signals were significantly higher after breath-hold periods of 9 s than after 6 s, while not when the duration was extended from 9 to 12 s. Furthermore, we found additional BOLD signal changes before the expected signal increases, which could be avoided by paced respiratory instructions. This investigation indicates that end-expiration breath-hold period of at least 9 s might be used to measure the cerebrovascular reactivity. This time period resulted in distinct BOLD signal changes and could be performed easily.

Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) represents 85% of all new lung cancer diagnoses and presents a high recurrence rate after surgery. Thus, an accurate prediction of recurrence risk in NSCLC patients at diagnosis could be essential to designate risk patients to more aggressive medical treatments. In this manuscript, we apply a transfer learning approach to predict recurrence in NSCLC patients, exploiting only data acquired during its screening phase. Particularly, we used a public radiogenomic dataset of NSCLC patients having a primary tumor CT image and clinical information. Starting from the CT slice containing the tumor with maximum area, we considered three different dilatation sizes to identify three Regions of Interest (ROIs): CROP (without dilation), CROP 10 and CROP 20. Then, from each ROI, we extracted radiomic features by means of different pre-trained CNNs. The latter have been combined with clinical information; thus, we trained a Support Vector Machine classifier to predict the NSCLC recurrence. The classification performances of the devised models were finally evaluated on both the hold-out training and hold-out test sets, in which the original sample has been previously divided. The experimental results showed that the model obtained analyzing CROP 20 images, which are the ROIs containing more peritumoral area, achieved the best performances on both the hold-out training set, with an AUC of 0.73, an Accuracy of 0.61, a Sensitivity of 0.63, and a Specificity of 0.60, and on the hold-out test set, with an AUC value of 0.83, an Accuracy value of 0.79, a Sensitivity value of 0.80, and a Specificity value of 0.78. The proposed model represents a promising procedure for early predicting recurrence risk in NSCLC patients.

Endobronchial ultrasound-guided transbronchial needle aspiration (EBUS-TBNA) is a valid modality for nodal lung cancer staging. The sonographic features of EBUS helps determine suspicious lymph nodes (LNs). To facilitate this use of this method, machine-learning-based computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) of medical imaging has been introduced in clinical practice. This study investigated the feasibility of CAD for the prediction of nodal metastasis in lung cancer using endobronchial ultrasound images. Image data of patients who underwent EBUS-TBNA were collected from a video clip. Xception was used as a convolutional neural network to predict the nodal metastasis of lung cancer. The prediction accuracy of nodal metastasis through deep learning (DL) was evaluated using both the five-fold cross-validation and hold-out methods. Eighty percent of the collected images were used in five-fold cross-validation, and all the images were used for the hold-out method. Ninety-one patients (166 LNs) were enrolled in this study. A total of 5255 and 6444 extracted images from the video clip were analyzed using the five-fold cross-validation and hold-out methods, respectively. The prediction of LN metastasis by CAD using EBUS images showed high diagnostic accuracy with high specificity. CAD during EBUS-TBNA may help improve the diagnostic efficiency and reduce invasiveness of the procedure.

Chocolate cyst or what is often called endometriosis is a functional endometrial condition that experiences cyclic bleeding. Treatment of endometriosis can be done by laparotomy. One of the nursing problems that often arises in post-laparotomy patients is severe pain or acute pain. Pain can affect various things, such as physical, behavioral, and also affect daily activities. Thus it is necessary to handle it so as not to give a negative influence. One of the relaxation techniques that can be used to reduce postoperative pain is the finger hold relaxation technique or often called the finger hold. This type of research is a case study research, which was conducted on 1 patient, namely Mrs. N. She is the first day postoperative laparotomy patient. The focus of this study is the application of finger-hold relaxation therapy to reduce post-laparotomy pain in chocolate cyst patients. Finger hold therapy is taught and carried out 2 times a day, at least 4 hours after administration of analgesic drugs, namely in the morning before taking the medicine and in the afternoon after lunch. Before and after being given the finger-hold relaxation intervention, the patient's perceived pain scale was measured. Measurement of the pain scale using the Verbal Descriptive Scale" and "Wong Baker Pain Rating Scale". The results of this study showed that finger-hold relaxation therapy for 2 times a day in 2 days showed that the results of finger-hold relaxation could reduce the scale of postoperative laparotomy pain, from moderate pain to mild pain. Nurses are expected to apply finger-hold relaxation therapy as a management procedure in postoperative laparotomy patients with chocolate cysts.

The gravitino contribution to the one loop gaugino self energy in low energy N=1 supergravity models derived from superstrings is considered. This contribution is shown to vanish when a supersymmetric regularization procedure is used. An identical conclusion is seen to hold for the contribution of the fermionic component of the gauge singlet chiral supermultiplet that arises out of gaugino condensation in the Hidden (‘shadow’) sector. Implications for supersymmetry breaking in the observable sector of superstring theories are briefly discussed.

Alcohol and drug abuse hold a special place among the phenomena accompanying the modern civilization because they have a negative impact on all aspects of society. One of the most dangerous types of crimes committed under the influence is road traffic accidents. The negative trend of this category of crimes necessitates their efficient investigation, the success of which greatly depends on the right measures of legal coercion aimed at determining the condition of the person driving a vehicle. Measures of administrative, administrative procedure and criminal procedure coercion are especially important in this process. The paper presents a systemic analysis of the norms of criminal and administrative law as well as criminal and administrative process that determine the procedure of testing and medical screening for intoxication. The authors also examine the issues of ordering and carrying out forensic examination to determine the condition of intoxication, and the procedure of acquiring biological samples for testing. They analyze court practice in the spheres of both administrative jurisdiction and criminal court procedure. The authors come to the conclusion that the procedure of screening a person driving a vehicle should be improved. Most problems associated with it are caused by the legal ambiguity regarding the choice of the medical institution that should carry out the chemical and toxicological analysis of bodily fluids. Besides, the law does not have any provisions for the double-screening of biological material to identify narcotics and psychoactive substances in the cases when preliminary screenings results are negative, as they often do not distinguish some types of narcotics, such as spices. In order to identify the condition of intoxication it is necessary for the medical screening to follow the procedure set out in the criminal procedure legislation, which should include obtaining of biological samples for testing and further forensic chemical and toxicological expertise.

The implementation of the daily census of hospitalization must be carried out according to procedures properly and correctly so that the data used can be utilized optimally by the hospital. The utilization of this reporting data relates to the mechanism of service procedure flow for the internal and external interests of the hospital. The general objective in this research is to know the implementation of daily inpatient census for reporting of inpatient service indicators incorrect. Method: This research is a literature study with research instruments using google chrome and google scholar. Sample of 6 journals related to the daily census of hospitalizations. The results showed that 6 out of 6 daily census journals of hospitalizations were not in accordance with the procedures both in terms of officers and the implementation of the daily census of hospitalizations. Results: The data sources used in the creation of the daily census of hospitalizations are inpatient register books and medical record documents. The utilization of daily census data of hospitalizations 2 out of 6 journals has utilized daily census data to the maximum because daily census data is used as decision making by hospital management. Conclusions: The advice from this study is that hospitals should create or update fixed procedures and instructions covering all activities of the mechanism for implementing the Daily Census of Hospitalization, and hospitals should hold training or socialization of writing/filling technical instructions and fixed procedures on the Daily Census of Hospitalization.

The general framework of criminal prosecution is regulated in the new criminal procedure in art. 285-341 Cod Proc. Pen. of course, with the mention that many procedural institutions used in this phase of the criminal process are provided in other chapters of the criminal procedure. The task of the judicial police bodies is to gather and administer evidence and means of evidence that outline the constituent elements in order to establish the existence of criminal acts, to determine the identity of the perpetrators and to hold them accountable. The administration of evidence is the basis for the decision to sue or not the perpetrator, but it is very important that these activities are carried out in compliance with the fundamental rights and freedoms of the parties to the criminal proceedings.

В статье рассматриваются понятие и сущность наказания в виде лишения права занимать определенные должности или заниматься определенной деятельностью; подвергнуты анализу нормы уголовного и уголовно-исполнительного законодательства, регламентирующие порядок реализации наказания в виде лишения права занимать определенные должности или заниматься определенной деятельностью, нормативно-правовые акты, регулирующие деятельность уголовно-исполнительных инспекций, а также практика работы инспекций; изучены научная и учебная литература, публикации, касающиеся вопросов исполнения лишения права занимать определенные должности или заниматься определенной деятельностью. В ходе исследования выявлены следующие проблемы, связанные с исполнением лишения права занимать определенные должности или заниматься определенной деятельностью: особенности применения мер ответственности за нарушение непенитенциарного режима; организация воспитательной работы с осужденными к лишению права занимать определенные должности или заниматься определенной деятельностью; порядок учета срока отбытия наказания; возможность проведения первоначальных розыскных мероприятий по установлению местонахождения осужденных к лишению права занимать определенные должности или заниматься определенной деятельностью; вопросы взаимодействия уголовно-исполнительных инспекций с органами, правомочными аннулировать разрешение на занятие определенной деятельностью. The article considers a concept and essence of punishment in the form of deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities, analyzes norms of criminal and penal legislation regulating the procedure for implementing this type of punishment, regulatory legal acts regulating activities of penal inspections, inspection work practice, and studies scientific and educational literature, publications concerning issues under analysis. The authors reveal problems related to the execution of deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities, such as features of the application of liability measures for violation of the non-penitentiary regime; organization of educational work with those sentenced to deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities; an accounting procedure for the period of the sentence served; the possibility of carrying out initial investigative measures to establish the location of persons sentenced to deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities; issues of interaction of penal inspections with bodies authorized to revoke a permit to engage in certain activities. This study aims to get an overview of the features of spelling errors in the preparation of official letters and to find out the factors that cause written language errors in official letters at one of the universities in Medan City. The procedure of this study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis procedure. The data collection method in this study is in the form of a documentary method. The information analysis method uses language error analysis procedures, namely information identification, information classification, and determining the frequency of errors. The source of information for this research is in the form of official letters written at one of the universities in Medan City. Research information in the form of written language that contains spelling errors. The research results show that there are errors in the use of spelling, and these errors are listed in interlanguage errors, such as language transfer and transfer of training. The low ability of the Indonesian language writer of the letter is the cause of language errors. The results of this research can help other agencies to pay more attention to the use of the Indonesian language, and it is considered important to hold official letter-writing training by authorized institutions.

Lan registration aims to provide legal certainty. National Land Agency as the appointed institution to carry out land registration, has progressed by providing land services and mortgages electronically. This study aims to examine the procedure for registering land with an electronic system at the Land Office and the application of theory/principle of land registration with an electronic system. This research applied normative juridical with a statute approach and case approach. The reference of this study is that the government and land registration organizers, i.e. the Ministry of National Land Agency, should re-evaluate, the completeness and quality of the electronic land registration system. This is done so that users of the electronic registration system feel more benefits and ease in using the service. The government and land registration organizers should also hold socialization of electronic technology training to National Land Agency employees, Land Deed Officials and the community in general. So that in carrying out registration with this electronic system, it can be mastered by users of the electronic system as a whole. Keywords: procedure, land registration, electronics.

Abstract Reveal®Salmonella Enteritidis (SE) is a lateral flow-based immunodiagnostic assay used for rapid detection of Salmonella enterica serovar Enteritidis from pooled shell eggs and environmental samples. This assay uses highly specific antibodies to accurately detect S. Enteritidis. Studies were conducted to compare the performance of this test against reference procedures for detection of S. Enteritidis from both pooled shell eggs and environmental samples. Pooled shell eggs were inoculated with low levels of S. Enteritidis and were enriched according to the procedure prescribed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Uninoculated samples were included in each trial. Reveal SE exhibited 100% sensitivity and 100% specificity in comparison to the reference method in all trials. An abbreviated 48 h/(no hold) enrichment procedure was also developed and validated for detection of S. Enteritidis from pooled shell egg samples. This shortened enrichment procedure can be used in conjunction with the Reveal SE test and offers a significant enrichment time savings of 96 h. Chi-square analysis revealed that there was no significant difference between the abbreviated Reveal method and the reference procedure for detection of S. Enteritidis from pooled shell egg samples. Out of 245 natural drag swabs screened internally, only three samples tested Reveal SE positive and were confirmed by the reference procedure, resulting in 100% sensitivity and 100% specificity. An external laboratory screened 147 poultry house environmental samples and obtained 35 Reveal SE confirmed positives for Reveal SE sensitivity of 100% and specificity of 90%. Inoculation trials with drag swabs resulted in 96% sensitivity and 100% specificity. Thus, these data demonstrate that Reveal SE is a highly sensitive and specific assay for the detection of S. Enteritidis from both pooled shell eggs and environmental samples.

This paper describes a procedure that permits the calculation of the fatigue life over a wide range of temperatures and strain rates. The isothermal fatigue life is expressed in terms of the total strain range by an equation previously obtained from a continuous damage concept. Additional new terms are introduced to take into account the effect of the temperature and of the strain rate. For a given material, a multiple regression analysis is carried out using some experimental results in order to evaluate the material constants involved. Once these constants are known, the life prediction can be made for other specified values of temperature and strain rate. The approach is applied to available data obtained from several stainless steels (AISI 304, 316, 348, and some SUS materials) under several combinations of temperatures and strain rates. The deviation of the calculated lives from the experimental values is reasonably acceptable. The extension of the proposed procedure to cases of cycling with a very low frequency, usually involving hold times, is examined and discussed.

The objective of that final on board training purse seining gration to identify the facilities and infrastructure used in carrying out operational activities purse this and can identify the catch. The results of observations during the implementation of the final on board raining show that work procedures within purse seining gration of FB Enterprise, in the Makassar Strait consist of 2 main activity stages namely setting and hauling. Based on the results of observations, it can be concluded that the work procedure for on board fish handling starts from preparation, fish loading , sorting, washing fish in baskets, placing fish in pans, storing fish in the ABF hold at 180 By using freon, after that the fish will be packaged when the fish has frozen. It has been proved that criminal justice is a procedure regulated by the norms of current criminal procedure legislation for the activities of specially authorized subjects (bodies of inquiry, preliminary investigation, prosecution, etc.) to determine the circumstances relating to the commission of criminal offences, conduct pre-trial investigation, hold court hearings, render decisions and impose punishment for criminal offences. It has been noted that forensic examination is a special study carried out by highly qualified persons, in accordance with the established procedures and methods, with the aim of obtaining objective and reliable information about an object or event which is the subject of a trial. Forensic examination is one of the key means of evidence in criminal proceedings. Its key purpose is to conduct a specialised investigation to obtain objective and reliable data about a particular object, which can be used as evidence in criminal proceedings. Forensic examinations can be conducted in various fields, such as medicine, physics, chemistry, ballistics, graphology and others, and the data collected can be important for the course of criminal proceedings.
It has been noted that under martial law, there are fundamentally new features of the appointment and conduct of forensic examinations. At the same time, the need to reduce bureaucratic procedures in the course of appointing examinations, to introduce certain elements of electronic document flow into this process, to reduce the timeframe for conducting certain examinations with their mandatory preliminary differentiation depending on the degree of complexity, and to ensure that such differentiation is legally enshrined in law are also emphasised.

The novelty technology lies in the fact that the hardening of the surface layers is carried out both in liquid phase and in the solid state. Technology comprises three main stages with 12 technological phases.Experimentation highlights the viability of the technological procedure. The results of tests and verifications are the basis of the analysis of combined machined parts behavior in conditions similar to the operating conditions and of the analysis of the dependence between operation behavior and durability. Analysis of the results revealed the fact that failure to technological parameters: casting temperature; hold time at high temperatures; cooling rate after microalloying in liquid phase, gives rise to possible faults of the combined treated parts.

This study aims to describe the procedures for managing MRCP examinations in cases of cholelithiasis at Husada Hospital, Jakarta. This type of research is descriptive qualitative using questionnaire sheets which are used for direct observation, documentation, interviews and literature studies, then data reduction is carried out, categorized and interpreted. Observations were carried out in May- July 2023 with the subjects of this study using 2 patients. From the results of the study it can be described that the MRCP examination technique with cholelithiasis cases at Husada Hospital Jakarta has a special preparation procedure, namely fasting for 5-6 hours and 30 minutes before the examination the patient drinks bittertea (2 sachets of tea bags/4.6 g mixed with mineral water 100 ml) added with 2 mlgadolinium contrast. Patients must first screen to ensure that there are no ferromagnetic materials, this examination uses a sequence that includes a 3-plane localizer, axial dual echo, axial T2, coronal T2, thick slab, 3D MRCP Respiratory Trigger or 3D MRCP Breath hold with time 40 minute check. MRCP examination produces Axial, Coronal and 3D sections in preparation for the patient drinking bitter tea and gadolinium with the addition of 3D MRCP RTR or 3D MRCP BH sequences which can optimally show the anatomy, physiology and abnormalities ofthe gallbladder and biliary system.

The popularity of Artificial Neural Network (ANN) methodology has been growing in a wide variety of areas in geodesy and geospatial sciences. Its ability to perform coordinate transformation between different datums has been well documented in literature. In the application of the ANN methods for the coordinate transformation, only the train-test (hold-out cross-validation) approach has usually been used to evaluate their performance. Here, the data set is divided into two disjoint subsets thus, training (model building) and testing (model validation) respectively. However, one major drawback in the hold-out cross-validation procedure is inappropriate data partitioning. Improper split of the data could lead to a high variance and bias in the results generated. Besides, in a sparse dataset situation, the hold-out cross-validation is not suitable. For these reasons, the K-fold cross-validation approach has been recommended. Consequently, this study, for the first time, explored the potential of using K-fold cross-validation method in the performance assessment of radial basis function neural network and Bursa-Wolf model under data-insufficient situation in Ghana geodetic reference network. The statistical analysis of the results revealed that incorrect data partition could lead to a false reportage on the predictive performance of the transformation model. The findings revealed that the RBFNN and Bursa-Wolf model produced a transformation accuracy of 0.229 m and 0.469 m, respectively. It was also realised that a maximum horizontal error of 0.881 m and 2.131 m was given by the RBFNN and Bursa-Wolf. The obtained results per the cadastral surveying and plan production requirement set by the Ghana Survey and Mapping Division are applicable. This study will contribute to the usage of K-fold cross-validation approach in developing countries having the same sparse dataset situation like Ghana as well as in the geodetic sciences where ANN users seldom apply the statistical resampling technique.

Medical procedures carried out by midwives often entail uncertainties and un-predictabilities, such as postpartum hemorrhage, shock, or neonatal asphyxia. Patient consent for each medical procedure is an absolute necessity, except in emergency situations. This study aims to analyze the legal relationship between midwives and patients during childbirth and examine the role of informed consent for medical procedures between them in accordance with Law No. 17 of 2023 concerning Health. The research adopts a normative juridical approach, which involves examining legal norms present in legislation, court rulings, and societal legal standards. The data collection method utilized is library research, which involves seeking theoretical foundations and research inquiries. The data includes primary legal materials obtained from Law No. 17 of 2023 concerning Health and other relevant legislation, secondary legal materials sourced from books, documents, legal scholarly works, and the internet, as well as tertiary legal materials providing clarifications regarding primary and secondary legal sources. Justice is the fundamental principle requiring equitable and unbiased information dissemination to all patients. Midwives are expected to refrain from discrimination and provide suitable explanations to every individual. In the realm of justice, healthcare providers hold the responsibility to ensure fair treatment for every patient, irrespective of their social, economic, or cultural backgrounds. Line-heating technique involves application of controlled thermal cycles. In developing the technique of line heating, which is nonlinear and involves plastic deformation of the medium at high temperature varying in both time and space, analytical solutions turned out to be inadequate. At the same time conventional numerical techniques proved to be highly time consuming and thereby prohibitively expensive in real life situations. In this investigation, the initial nonlinear problem with modulus varying with temperature was transformed into a pseudolinear equivalent system of constant rigidity that was solved by applying linear analysis. The analysis procedure presented in this work and the results thus obtained hold great promise for analyzing the complicated thermal elastic-plastic problems as encountered in line-heating process.

COVID-19 is an infectious disease that has greatly affected worldwide healthcare systems, due to the high number of cases and deaths. As COVID-19 patients may develop cardiac comorbidities that can be potentially fatal, electrocardiographic monitoring can be crucial. This work aims to identify electrocardiographic and vectorcardiographic patterns that may be related to mortality in COVID-19, with the application of the Advanced Repeated Structuring and Learning Procedure (AdvRS&LP). The procedure was applied to data from the “automatic computation of cardiovascular arrhythmic risk from electrocardiographic data of COVID-19 patients” (COVIDSQUARED) project to obtain neural networks (NNs) that, through 254 electrocardiographic and vectorcardiographic features, could discriminate between COVID-19 survivors and deaths. The NNs were validated by a five-fold cross-validation procedure and assessed in terms of the area under the curve (AUC) of the receiver operating characteristic. The features’ contribution to the classification was evaluated through the Local-Interpretable Model-Agnostic Explanations (LIME) algorithm. The obtained NNs properly discriminated between COVID-19 survivors and deaths (AUC = 84.31 ± 2.58% on hold-out testing datasets); the classification was mainly affected by the electrocardiographic-interval-related features, thus suggesting that changes in the duration of cardiac electrical activity might be related to mortality in COVID-19 cases.

Prediction model building is one of the most important tasks in analysis of high-dimensional data. A fitted prediction model should be validated for future use. So, when conducting such an analysis, we have to use the whole data for both training and validation. When using a hold-out method, the fitted prediction model will be more efficient if the training set is bigger, but the validation power will be lower with a smaller validation set. In order to balance the efficiency of fitted prediction model and its validation, 50-50 allocation of the whole data set is popularly used as a hold-out method. In prediction and validation procedure, we have to use the information embedded in the whole data set as efficiently as possible. As a such effort, cross-validation methods (CV) have been very popular these days. In a CV method, a large portion of the data set is used to train models and the remaining small portion of the data is used for validation, and this procedure is repeated until the whole data set is used for validation. In a CV method, each data point is used for both training and validation, so that as the portion of training set is increased, the efficiency of training will be increased, while the validation power will be decreased due to the increased over-fitting, i.e. more frequent use of each data point for training. As another effort of efficient use of the whole data, we propose to use the whole data set for both training and validation, called 1-fold CV method. By using the whole data to fit a prediction model, training efficiency will be highest, but, by reusing the whole data set for validation, its validation power is expected to be very low. The validation power of CV methods will be estimated by permutation methods. Through extensive simulation and real data studies, we conclude that the newly proposed 1-fold CV method uses the available data set very efficiently

The existence of a laboratory is very necessary to fulfill curriculum a chievements. Because laboratory is a mandatory facility to hold any practical classes. Undip Vocational School of Marine Construction Engineering Technology Study Program is using the 2020th "Kampus Merdeka" curriculum, in which one of the practical classes is welding and carried out at the Ship Welding Laboratory using a Multi-Process Welding Machine. The purpose of the welding practicum provision is to find out the results of welding that carried out by students using data collection method and conducting experimental settings that are adjust ed to the welding data reading. Welding process using SMAW integration of amperage and voltage with due regard to the WPS procedure. From several samples of welding results, it can be seen that some parts may have welding defects. Welding with the SMAW method using an E6013 electrode with a diameter of 2.6 mm, and with a plate thickness of 10 mm at 50 - 70 amperes, whilst for a 5 mm plateat 48 - 65 amperes, but also depends on the welding clock flown and position.

Thermo-mechanical fatigue of nickel-base superalloys has been carried out for more than twenty years, but a unified standard for such tests has yet to be fully formulated. As a consequence of this, even excluding differences in testing procedure from laboratory to laboratory, the range of testing conditions in use is very large. In this paper, the authors consider the effect of the different parameters in a TMF test such as hold-time and temperature-mechanical phase angle on the thermo-mechanical response of test samples. This is carried out in terms of both stress response and sample life, in order to identify the common trends in the sample damage during the evolution of the mechanical response. To date, no definitive test program systematically covering the different variables has been published in the scientific literature. As, even after a long span of time, the literature data for many alloys is sparse, the work presented here concentrates on analyzing TMF response data from test programs carried out by the authors on the single crystal nickel-base alloy SRR99. The possibility of the use of electronic social networks as an organizational component of the learning environment is examined. The article does not aim at an exhaustive and complete analysis of current organizational practices of educational activities with the use of social networks. The procedure for planning and carrying out the organizational phase of training activities with the use of social networks is described by the example of two experiments. The content of the training activities in these experiments was not chosen from the school curricula, but in such a way as to be interesting and helpful for the students. In 2017, it is planned to hold two experiments (distance learning course "Choose Your Way Knowingly" and "Networked Learning for Programming"), followed by the publication of the results and guidelines.

It is vital for make-to-order manufacturers to shorten the lead time to meet the customers’ requirements. Holding work-in-process (WIP) inventory at more stations can reduce the lead time, but it also brings about higher inventory holding cost. Therefore, it is important to seek out the optimal set of stations to hold WIP inventory to minimize the total inventory holding cost, while meeting the required due date for the final product at the same time. Since the problem with deterministic processing times at the stations has been addressed, as a natural extension, in this study, we address the problem with stochastic processing times, which is more realistic in the manufacturing environment. Assuming that the processing times follow normal distributions, we propose a solution procedure using genetic algorithm.

Compounding is a major word-formation procedure in many languages, and even more so in specialised terminology. The classification of these compound words is a very complex issue due to the large number of semantic relations that can hold between the constituents of the compound. Typologies for different special languages differ considerably from each other and usually combine rather general with highly subject-specific relations. This paper presents a proposal for a two-step classification of these intraterm relations. First, a set of basic relational schemas is worked out, whose purpose is to serve as a tool for the interpretation of semantic relations. These schemas, which are potentially applicable to any domain, are then used to classify the actual compound terms that appear in a corpus of texts from a specific technical field.

A lifted mutex group is a schematic first-order description of sets of facts such that each set contains facts out of which at most one can hold in any reachable state. It was previously shown that lifted mutex groups can be used for pruning of operators during grounding of PDDL tasks, i.e., it is possible to prune unreachable and dead-end operators even before the grounded representation is known. Here, we show that applying such a pruning technique does not require a modification of the grounding procedure. Instead, it is possible to compile the conditions under which we can use lifted mutex groups to prune operators directly into the preconditions of lifted actions on the PDDL level. In fact, we show that such compilation captures the pruning power of lifted mutex groups perfectly.

The criminal procedure legislation of the Russian Federation, providing for the court to give permission to conduct a number of investigative and procedural actions, did not unambiguously regulate the procedure for examining applications from an investigator and making a decision. The different approach of scholars and practitioners to the activities of the court when issuing these permits - judicial authorization or judicial control, necessitated the establishment of the procedure for making appropriate decisions. The current provision of Part 2 of Art.165 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation, which corresponded to the procedure for considering applications within the framework of judicial authorization, did not meet the requirements for a decision when resolving a conflict in the framework of the administration of justice. Considering the positions of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation and the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, the courts, when resolving the petition of the investigator and the inquiry officer for conducting investigative and other procedural actions, began to hold a judicial session to consider these petitions with the preparation of the protocol of a court session, in fact creating a new form of legal proceedings requiring consideration of the issue with the participation of the parties, that should be unconditionally when using audio recording of a court session. The use of this procedure casts doubt on the possibility and expediency of carrying out investigative actions restricting the constitutional rights of citizens, since the disclosure of the plans of the investigator and the inquirer, aimed at obtaining evidence, actually leads to the pointlessness of the implementation of these investigative actions. The article substantiates the need to regulate judicial authorization in order to ensure the proper process of evidence while respecting the rights and freedoms of citizens.

However, the competition procedure should be transparent and the criteria thereof should be publicly known on the date of announcement of the competition. The criteria and the scoring cannot be determined after the deadline for submitting the applications, before the very deciding on the allocation of research resources, as it was done by the Minister of Science and Higher Education and upheld by the commented judgement.</p>

The paper presents the problems related to exercises that allow to prepare people, military equipment, and other rescue groups to prevent and minimize the number of victims in the case of the use of modern means of poisonous or radioactive ones. Such exercises can be carried out in the facility that is hermetically separated from the external environment, and a functional system of chambers allows to exercise and carry out activities that may occur in the real world after the use of toxic or radioactive warfare agents. These agents could cause disease in humans and degradation of natural environment. The tunnel enables to hold adequate exercises that familiarize practitioners with the correct principles to identify the toxic substance, and then to follow safe handling of their disposal with uniforms, weapons, and equipment. Certain chambers do protection of the skin and the respiratory tract against a particular toxin through a secure procedure for removing protective clothing and bath under the shower disinfectant and hygiene, to finally wear clean clothing or uniforms. The article deals with state of modern staffing of the judiciary, the problematic issues of the selection and appointment of a judge. In particular, the legislation that determines the procedure for selection for the position of a judge, as well as the stages of such selection are analyzed. The shortcomings of the legislation have been identified and proposals have been made to improve and optimize this procedure. It is proposed to adopt the Law of Ukraine, which will amend the procedure for forming the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine. Take measures to elect members of the High Qualifica-tions Commission of Judges of Ukraine and complete the selection for the position of a judge of a local court, as well as continue the competition for vacant positions of appellate courts. It is proposed to simplify the selection procedure for the position of a local court judge. It is rea-sonable to carry out special training of candidates for the position of a judge only in the specialty chosen by the candidate. Due to this, you can at least halve the period of special training - from 12 to 6 months. It is also justified inexpediency to conduct 2 exams during the selection - entrance and then quali-fication. It is proposed to unite them and immediately after the selection exam to conduct a qualifying exam, to determine the rating of candidates, on the basis of which to hold a competition for vacant positions of judges in specific courts. Taking into account the specializations chosen by the candidates, it is proposed to carry out special training with an internship in the court where the candidate won the competition. During the special training, a special examination of the candidate and his / her integrity must be performed. In case of successful implementation of the special training program and passing the special examination of the candidate, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine (or the High Council of Justice) submits to the President applications for appointment. It is proposed to conduct an interview with the candidate only in the event that the results of a special inspection will establish the circumstances that require additional explanations of the candidate. It is also proposed to enshrine at the legislative level a strategy for the development and im-provement of the administration of justice for at least 10 years. Changes to the legislation and adjustment of certain norms are possible only within the framework of the adopted strategy.

Modern medicine is developed and focused on various non-invasive alternative treatment methods of generalized periodontitis (GP), that don’t lead to side effects. One of the promising methods of treatment of generalized periodontitis is photodynamic therapy (PDT). The advantages of PDT in periodontal therapy include its non-invasiveness, ability to target specific pathogens without promoting bacterial resistance. The aim of the study was to compare the effectiveness of using a device to hold the end of a light laser in the oral cavity during PDT in patients with chronic GP. Materials and methods. We examined 30 patients with GP of the II degree of severity. Patients were divided into 2 groups: patients of the main group underwent PDT using a device for holding the end of a light laser, patients of the control group received PDT without using that device. We developed and patented a patent for utility model No. 156529 "Device for holding the end of a light laser in the oral cavity", which was used to carry out this stage of work. The results. Patients from both experimental groups noted a significant improvement in the condition of the gums after the procedure, which indicates the effectiveness of the PDT as such. The device for holding the end of the light laser is ergonomic and allows the procedure itself to be carried out faster and with better quality, as it provides better visibility and provides full access to the periodontal pockets. In addition, its use significantly reduces the time of the procedure for patients. Conclusions. The device for holding the end of the light laser is ergonomic, ensures smooth and stable bringing of the end of the laser LED to any point of the oral cavity and allows the procedure itself to be carried out faster and with better quality, as it provides better visibility and provides full access to the periodontal pockets. Advantage of this device is that it allows the doctor to precisely introduce the laser LED into the periodontal pocket with additional cushioning. The perspective of the research is to further study the action and effect of PDT on the condition of the gums in GP.

The reported incidence of node metastasis at sentinel lymph node biopsy is generally low, so that the majority of women underwent unnecessary invasive axilla surgery. Although the sentinel lymph node biopsy is time consuming and expensive, it is still the intra-operative exam with the highest performance, but sometimes surgery is achieved without a clear diagnosis and also with possible serious complications. In this work, we developed a machine learning model to predict the sentinel lymph nodes positivity in clinically negative patients. Breast cancer clinical and immunohistochemical features of 907 patients characterized by a clinically negative lymph node status were collected. We trained different machine learning algorithms on the retrospective collected data and selected an optimal subset of features through a sequential forward procedure. We found comparable performances for different classification algorithms: on a hold-out training set, the logistics regression classifier with seven features, i.e., tumor diameter, age, histologic type, grading, multiplicity, in situ component and Her2-neu status reached an AUC value of 71.5% and showed a better trade-off between sensitivity and specificity (69.4 and 66.9%, respectively) compared to other two classifiers. On the hold-out test set, the performance dropped by five percentage points in terms of accuracy. Overall, the histological characteristics alone did not allow us to develop a support tool suitable for actual clinical application, but it showed the maximum informative power contained in the same for the resolution of the clinical problem. The proposed study represents a starting point for future development of predictive models to obtain the probability for lymph node metastases by using histopathological features combined with other features of a different nature.

In animal groups where certain individuals have disproportionate influence over collective decisions, the whole group's performance may suffer if these individuals possess inaccurate information. Whether in such situations leaders can be replaced in their roles by better-informed group mates represents an important question in understanding the adaptive consequences of collective decision-making. Here, we use a clock-shifting procedure to predictably manipulate the directional error in navigational information possessed by established leaders within hierarchically structured flocks of homing pigeons ( Columba livia ). We demonstrate that in the majority of cases when leaders hold inaccurate information they lose their influence over the flock. In these cases, inaccurate information is filtered out through the rearrangement of hierarchical positions, preventing errors by former leaders from propagating down the hierarchy. Our study demonstrates that flexible decision-making structures can be valuable in situations where ‘bad’ information is introduced by otherwise influential individuals.

The objective of this work is to analyze and evaluate the procedure of alleged administrative responsibility carried out by the Internal Control Organs (OIC) in the State of Sonora, specifically in the areas of investigation and substantiation, as the main gear to be able to classify administrative offenses and in a second stage to hold public servants accountable. As part of accountability. What are the factors that affect the completion of an IPRA? The personnel of the OICs present problems in the integration of the reports of alleged responsibility, due to their technical and professional limitations. On April 27, 2022, the new Law of Responsibilities and Sanctions of the State of Sonora comes into force, whose main purpose is the prevention, correction and investigation of administrative responsibilities; which in its article 9, section II, considers the ICOs as the competent authority to apply said Law, being necessary to collect evidence with a higher degree of professionalism. As a result of the above, the work of integrating files for alleged administrative responsibilities (EPRA) in the ICOs is at a stagnant stage, since personnel trained in multidisciplinary functions are needed to prepare the IPRA, formerly known as a complaint, as well as the support of legal experts to rule the misconduct as serious or non-serious. It should be noted that most of the ICOs are made up of public servants with studies in public accounting, and it is essential to complement them with human capital from various branches of knowledge, including finance, computer science, engineering, psychology, law, handwriting experts, among others, which would improve the collection of evidence of the facts under investigation.

Article 25 of the Act on the Protection and Care of Historical Monuments (hereinafter: u.o.z.o.z.) imposes some obligations on owners or property holders of listed immovable historic monuments that have been adapted for utility functions. These obligations include holding conservator’s documentation and having a programme of the preservation works and program of the development of the monument and its surroundings (both programmes shall receive the consent of the voivodeship historic preservation officer). This provision is the only one in the Act that strictly concerns the adaptation of historic monuments. Despite this fact, it is not fully applied in practice. The first reason for this is that there is no sanction if somebody does not hold the required documentation. Secondly, regulations are insufficiently precise, for example, the procedure for reaching an agreement with preservation officer is not specified. The article is based on empirical research carried out in selected voivodeship historic preservation offices. The text focuses on the problem of how article 25 of u.o.z.o.z. is applied in practice. It transpires that some voivodeship historic preservation officers do not apply this provision at all, while in other voivodeships agreements are rare or are not reached as an autonomous activity but within the framework of other procedures (e.g. connected with allowances for performing some work). The analysis of documents prepared on the basis of article 25 u.o.z.o.z. leads to the conclusion that such documents are often incomplete or mistaken for other similar documents that are also obligatory, but on a different legal basis. What is more, the practice in the terms of the form and procedure of agreements is uneven – ordinarily, it takes the form of a letter, although there are also cases when a formal decision or opinion is issued. The results of empirical research served as a basis for de lege lata and de lege ferenda postulates.

297 Background: Azole-antifungals like posaconazole and voriconazole have a documented significant risk of adverse drug events (ADE) when concomitantly administered with vinca-alkaloid chemotherapy (vincristine, vinblastine, vinorelbine) due to inhibition of vinca clearance. Potential ADE’s include paralytic ileus, severe, potentially permanent neuropathies, cranial nerve dysfunction, seizures, etc. Aim: Assess a standardized process to hold azole-antifungal around vinca-alkaloid drug administration to decrease the risk of adverse events associated with this drug-drug interaction in pediatric oncology patients. Intervention: Azole-antifungals (fluconazole*, voriconazole, posaconazole, itraconazole) will be held the day before, day of, and day after the vinca-alkaloid administration (with flexibility given provider discretion*) in the outpatient and inpatient setting at a single site. Methods: Development of a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), informational technology (IT) processes such as Best Practice Advisory (BPA), nursing orders, Vinca Time-Out order and standard nursing note template for telephone encounter to remind patient/parents. Retrospective data was assessed in three 6-12 month phases, Pre-SOP (Phase 0), Post- SOP and Pre-IT support (Phase 1), and Full implementation (Phase 2). Study Outcomes: 1.Hold the azole-antifungal in 100% of encounters where vinca-alkaloid is due. 2. Decrease number of adverse events by 10%. 3. Maintain adequate fungal prophylaxis (or treatment) with a 0% incidence of breakthrough fungal infections. Results: Average number of concomitant azole/vinca administrations for each Phase was 39. A 97% improvement was seen in the number of vinca administrations dose reduced or held from 28 (Phase 0) to 1 (Phase 2). A 66% improvement in SOP compliance was observed (19 % in Phase 0, and 85% in Phase 2). Significant adverse effects were decreased by 33-50% between Phase 0, and Phase 1 and 2, respectively. Three patients in Phase 2 experienced fungal infection breakthrough; all had documented compliance issues prior to the study period. Conclusions: Implementation of the SOP and IT processes helped achieve a process to hold azole antifungals and led to significant decrease in the need to dose reduce or hold vinca-alkaloids thereby allowing less chemotherapy interruption/dose adjustments. Further modification of the SOP may be developed to exclude those patients on anti-fungal therapy for an active fungal infection.

The creative character of reading is revealed through the elucidation of its temporal constitutions and consideration of some practical aspects of this phenomenon. Reading isn’t intellectual, aesthetical procedure, but co-being between a text and a reader. Reading is one of the ways of becoming and forming in human being specific metaphysical organs. Thanks to them there are some actual conditions of freedom, love, faith, virtue, responsibility etc. Impression as point-wise part of time, orienting on presence and changing with every new phase of reading text is shown. Impression isn’t feeling, but invasion, that includes intensity, completeness of action. That’s why reading text should impress and invade in limits of being of a reader, catch them, hold them by its energy his attention. Retention as primary memory of read text and holding some information during its distancing from the point of impression is researched. Possibilities of using of some technics of reading – reading out loud of dialogues of Plato, reflexive reading, close reading etc.

An experimental procedure has been worked out to measure mass transfer rates in the presence of a chemical reaction in a liquid dispersion in a batch mixed vessel by a dynamic method. Transfer rates have been observed of iodine between decalin and water phase containing potassium iodide. The transfer was described by the pseudohomogeneous model. Transport parameters of this model have been evaluated from the response of the system to a step concentration change in the continuous phase. The model of the experiment described distortion of the information in the sampling device for the continuous phase. Dependences have been measured of the iodine transfer coefficients in both phases on the intensity of mixing and volume hold-up of the dispersed liquid. By a suitable choice of the concentration in the continuous phase the ratio could be adjusted of the resistance against the transfer in both phases and the sensitivity could be affected of the objective function to the evaluated model parameters.

AbstractThis article reflects upon intertextuality or the dialogue between texts. After a survey of various views of intertextuality, a procedure for studying the intertextual relationships between biblical texts is presented. An extensive study of the dialogue between the Ruth and Tamar narratives concludes the article. The large amount of shared semantic and narratological features in these stories enable the reader to discover how Ruth and Tamar turn out to be the instruments by which Judah, Naomi and Boaz perceive and attain knowledge. As foreigners they are able to confront the insiders and to hold a mirror up to their faces. But in both stories, Ruth and Tamar disappear at the end and become ellipses in their own stories. Tamar made Judah see, Ruth made Naomi change and Boaz become aware, but their revealing activities eventually lead to their own disappearance. The mirror intended to unveil the audience has lead to the emptying of the foreigners, who do not confront, but confirm the Judahite identity.

The Bangladesh Labour Act of 2006 is the primary legislation in Bangladesh that addresses issues related to employment. The main objective of the Act is to rectify previous disparities and create a favourable working environment for workers. The legislation sets out detailed regulations concerning job conditions and services. In practice, employers often hold significant powers, including the authority to hire, terminate and dismiss employees at their discretion for various reasons. However, the Labour Act and the Labour Court are tasked with ensuring fair treatment and upholding the principles of natural justice. Specifically, the Bangladesh Labour Act empowers the Labour Courts to intervene in cases of employee termination through the grievance procedure. This study thoroughly examines, with case references, the extent to which the courts apply principles of fairness and equity in job termination cases under the Bangladeshi Labour Act of 2006. The research concludes with insights into the recruitment and termination processes in Bangladesh, highlighting the need for amendments to the current labour legislation to ensure employment stability and economic support for the workforce.

In this work, we extended a procedure for the spatial decorrelation of fully-developed speckle, originally developed for single-polarization SAR data, to fully-polarimetric SAR data. The spatial correlation of the noise depends on the tapering window in the Fourier domain used by the SAR processor to avoid defocusing of targets caused by Gibbs effects. Since each polarimetric channel is focused independently of the others, the noise-whitening procedure can be performed applying the decorrelation stage to each channel separately. Equivalently, the noise-whitening stage is applied to each element of the scattering matrix before any multilooking operation, either coherent or not, is performed. In order to evaluate the impact of a spatial decorrelation of the noise on the performance of polarimetric despeckling filters, we make use of simulated PolSAR data, having user-defined polarimetric features. We optionally introduce a spatial correlation of the noise in the simulated complex data by means of a 2D separable Hamming window in the Fourier domain. Then, we remove such a correlation by using the whitening procedure and compare the accuracy of both despeckling and polarimetric features estimation for the three following cases: uncorrelated, correlated, and decorrelated images. Simulation results showed a steady improvement of performance scores, most notably the equivalent number of looks (ENL), which increased after decorrelation and closely attained the value of the uncorrelated case. Besides ENL, the benefits of the noise decorrelation hold also for polarimetric features, whose estimation accuracy is diminished by the correlation. Also, the trends of simulations were confirmed by qualitative results of experiments carried out on a true Radarsat-2 image.

The objectives of this research are; 1) Help simplify the process of selecting the chairman who previously used the manual method or did not have a web-based evaluation application, 2) This application can secure the details of the names that have chosen the chairman through the admin, only the admin knows, and 3) Improve speed and accuracy the results of the e-voting data that replaced the previous conventional voting system were carried out manually. In making the application, implementing RSA (Rivest–Shamir–Adleman) on the e-voting system that was built, for designing the application using web-based programming languages such as HTML, PHP, and MySQL used as e-voting database management. The results showed that the e-voting application simplifies the vote-counting process because it is done online and you can find out directly the results of the upcoming elections, without the need to count votes like a manual selection process. the participation of students in Islamic boarding schools is determined as the maximum power. The election of the head of the hut has become an inseparable part of the hut, almost all the huts hold elections. The election of the chairman is the procedure for selecting the representative of the booth in the booth based on the majority of votes.

This paper develops a dispersion trading strategy based on a statistical index subsetting procedure and applies it to the S&P 500 constituents from January 2000 to December 2017. In particular, our selection process determines appropriate subset weights by exploiting a principal component analysis to specify the individual index explanatory power of each stock. In the following out-of-sample trading period, we trade the most suitable stocks using a hedged and unhedged approach. Within the large-scale back-testing study, the trading frameworks achieve statistically and economically significant returns of 14.52 and 26.51 percent p.a. after transaction costs, as well as a Sharpe ratio of 0.40 and 0.34, respectively. Furthermore, the trading performance is robust across varying market conditions. By benchmarking our strategies against a naive subsetting scheme and a buy-and-hold approach, we find that our statistical trading systems possess superior risk-return characteristics. Finally, a deep dive analysis shows synchronous developments between the chosen number of principal components and the S&P 500 index.

AbstractThe nonconforming triangular piecewise quadratic finite element space by Fortin and Soulie can be used for the displacement approximation and its combination with discontinuous piecewise linear pressure elements is known to constitute a stable combination for incompressible linear elasticity computations. In this contribution, we extend the stress reconstruction procedure and resulting guaranteed a posteriori error estimator developed by Ainsworth, Allendes, Barrenechea and Rankin [2] and by Kim [18] to linear elasticity. In order to get a guaranteed reliability bound with respect to the energy norm involving only known constants, two modifications are carried out: (i) the stress reconstruction in next-to-lowest order Raviart–Thomas spaces is modified in such a way that its anti-symmetric part vanishes in average on each element; (ii) the auxiliary conforming approximation is constructed under the constraint that its divergence coincides with the one for the nonconforming approximation. An important aspect of our construction is that all results hold uniformly in the incompressible limit. Global efficiency is also shown and the effectiveness is illustrated by adaptive computations involving different Lamé parameters including the incompressible limit case.
