Résumé :

Thrombin and related protease-activated receptors 1, 2, 3, and 4 (PAR1–4) play a multifunctional role in many types of cells including endothelial cells. Here, using RT-PCR and immunofluorescence staining, we showed for the first time that PAR1–4 are expressed on primary human brain microvascular endothelial cells (HBMEC). Digital fluorescence microscopy and fura 2 were used to monitor intracellular Ca2+concentration ([Ca2+]i) changes in response to thrombin and PAR1-activating peptide (PAR1-AP) SFFLRN. Both thrombin and PAR1-AP induced a dose-dependent [Ca2+]irise that was inhibited by pretreatment of HBMEC with the phospholipase C inhibitor U-73122 and the sarco(endo)plasmic reticulum Ca2+-ATPase inhibitor thapsigargin. Thrombin induced transient [Ca2+]iincrease, whereas PAR1-AP exhibited sustained [Ca2+]irise. The PAR1-AP-induced sustained [Ca2+]irise was significantly reduced in the absence of extracellular calcium or in the presence of an inhibitor of store-operated calcium channels, SKF-96365. Restoration of extracellular Ca2+to the cells that were initially activated by PAR1-AP in the absence of extracellular Ca2+resulted in significant [Ca2+]irise; however, this effect was not observed after thrombin stimulation. Pretreatment of the cells with a low thrombin concentration (0.1 nM) prevented [Ca2+]irise in response to high thrombin concentration (10 nM), but pretreatment with PAR1-AP did not prevent subsequent [Ca2+]irise to high PAR1-AP concentration. Additionally, treatment with thrombin decreased transendothelial electrical resistance in HBMEC, whereas PAR1-AP was without significant effect. These findings suggest that, in contrast to thrombin, stimulation of PAR1 by untethered peptide SFFLRN results in stimulation of store-operated Ca2+influx without significantly affecting brain endothelial barrier functions.

Résumé :

The role of political communicators in the process of conveying public opinion should have capacity, so that the ideas conveyed in their messages are able to influence the public. This study discusses political communicator Irine Yusiana Roba Putri as a member of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2019-2024 term. The purpose of the study is to analyze the role of political communicator Irine Yusiana Roba Putri in convincing and influencing the public as well as to understand the Elements of Communicators built during the 2019 campaign. The method used in this study is a qualitative method in the form of a case study. The results of this study illustrate that Irine yusiana Roba Putri has the capacity to be a political communicator as a member of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia. Politician Irine is a representative of the group he leads, so that in communicating a politician as a political communicator will protect the goals and interests of his group in accordance with the goals as a legislative member in parliament, Irine is able to approach the community or his constituents in the style of a wongcilik approach, meaning descending and blending directly with the grassroots. From the results of Irine's research, it meets four elements in political communicators, namely; Credibility, attractiveness, similarity and power.

Abstract This study explores energy allocation strategies for hybrid electric-hydrogen fuel cell transport trucks. The focus is optimizing the synergy between hydrogen fuel cells and batteries to balance economic viability and environmental sustainability. An improved RIME (IRIME) algorithm enhances earthmoving transport node efficiency. Addressing the limitations of traditional multi-objective optimization and dynamic constraints, a hybrid framework combining dynamic programming (DP) and IRIME is proposed. DP optimizes multi-stage transport decisions, while IRIME efficiently identifies Pareto optimal solutions. Simulations validate the approach under various scenarios, comparing it to traditional dynamic programming and other optimization techniques. Case studies demonstrate a 9% improvement in efficiency and reduced cycle time compared to traditional dynamic programming and other algorithms.

It is shown that, when sputtered onto the surface of the (111) Ir face in the temperature range 1100–1250 K, beryllium atoms form a surface chemical compound of stoichiometry Ir3Be with a concentration of adsorbed beryllium NBe=5•1014 cm–2, after which the newly deposited beryllium atoms dissolve in the volume of the metal . The Ir3Be surface compound itself is destroyed due to the dissolution of beryllium in the temperature range of 1250–1400 K with an activation energy increasing from 3.2 eV to 3.7 eV with decreasing Be concentration. At T>1400 K, the thermal desorption channel is switched on. The formation of the Ir3Be surface compound significantly lowers the energy barrier E for the dissolution of Be atoms in the bulk of iridium by Δ E>1.7 eV.

Arising Threats from climate change for human life and other creatures resulted in different media productions, all around the world. It is needed for IRIB to pay more attention to climate change problem in its programs, far more than current talk shows with experts. With the use of in depth interviews, at first, current situation of climate change topic in IRIB, and then the responsibility of IRIB in relation to climate change were discussed. Résumé :

Abstract This article presents a study and a critical edition of the short anonymous treatise on the rainbow starting with the incipit Inter omnes impressiones. The text was known to Nicole Oresme who engages with it twice: in his Questiones in Meteorologica de prima lectura and in Le livre du ciel et du monde. This Tractatus de iride, previously unknown to scholars, is transmitted in three late thirteenth-century manuscripts. It uses Robert Grosseteste’s theories of the rainbow as caused by the refraction of sunlight and of colour as light incorporated in aereal particles. However, contrary to Grosseteste, the Tractatus de iride adopts the idea of different degrees of incorporation of light, which is also found in the scientific writings by Adam of Exeter, a Franciscan scholar belonging to the same Oxonian circle as Grosseteste. Moreover, the Tractatus de iride develops original propositions in regard to the role of individual raindrops, the importance of the angle from which the rainbow is observed, and the idea of the spirituality of the colours in the medium, which were central also for Roger Bacon’s and Nicole Oresme’s own theories of the rainbow.

Despotess Irene was considered the second person of the Serbian despotate in Serbian historiography. Owing to Serbian and Byzantine sources that mention her actions, this paper attempts to answer the question of her joint rule with despot Đurađ Branković in Serbian state, as an independent political factor. The first example of this is Efsigmen Charter from 1429, which the despot issued together with his wife. In addition, the miniature on Irene's charter shows her with a sceptre in her hand, a royal sign, although her and Đurađ's son had already been nominated for the heir to the throne, as indicated by the red shoes. Her activity is seen in the presence of a large number of Byzantines in Serbia, and then in the administration of the Serbian state. Of the Byzantines who lived in Serbia, the brother of the despotess Irene, Toma Kantakouzene was very important. He became the commander of the Serbian army, which was very unusual for the Middle Ages in Serbia. In 1435, during Đurađ's visit to Požun, Irene ruled the country as we know, based on the Dubrovnik mission she received. In addition, the despotess was a member of the state council, and most likely the court council. Mavro Orbini left a note on Irene's role in the diplomatic marriage between Mara Branković and Sultan Murad II, which Serbia used as means of preventing the Ottoman attack on the country. The fact that most points to Irene's active political role is the question of the successor of the despot Đurađ. Mavro Orbini and Michael Kritovoulos wrote that Đurađ Branković appointed his wife to rule after his death, which was certainly related to the division in the family due to the deprivation of the throne of the blinded Grgur. Thus, Irene would be a person around whom the family would gather and reconcile, and who would rule the country. Her sudden death and the transfer of part of the ruling family to the Ottoman territory subsequently confirmed her right to power and the division that existed between the Branković family over the ruler and the country's foreign policy.

En la era de la Web 3.0 y la abundancia de contenido generado por los usuario, las grandes organizaciones de medios se enfrentan al desafío de la creatividad. Sus fuentes internas de creatividad son limitadas y se enfrentan con muchas ideas innovadoras que se presentan en las redes sociales de manera libre y amplia. Por esta razón, el uso de fuentes externas de innovación es un desafío clave para las grandes organizaciones de medios de comunicación, y en particular para los medios de comunicación públicos. Esta investigación aborda el desafío de IRIB, la empresa pública transmisiones de radiotelevisión iraní, de adquirir fuentes externas de innovación. El marco teórico de esta investigación se sido tomado de la teoría de los mercados de medios de comunicación eficientes, que propone que las grandes organizaciones tengan ventajas en los recursos; las pequeñas empresas, en la innovación y los facilitadores, en la contratación. Se realizó una serie de entrevistas con gerentes seleccionados de IRIB, y el análisis de estos datos mostró que IRIB no tiene un enfoque sistemático para beneficiarse de la innovación de los usuarios para abordar el problema de la escasez de creatividad. Se han proporcionado algunas sugerencias prácticas para IRIB en particular, mientras que varias de ellas podrían ser generalizables a otras grandes empresas de medios. Los hallazgos de esta investigación contribuyen al emprendimiento corporativo de medios de comunicación y cómo se fomenta en la Web 3.0 y las redes sociales.

AbstractA reappraisal of Hermann's ‘irite’, described in 1836 and 1841, has been attempted by examining and analysing three museum samples, accessioned before 1865. The three samples were determined to be mixtures of chromite, native Os and Ir, rutheniridosmine, platinum, laurite, hongshiite, irarsite, cuprorhodsite, iridsite, prassoite, hollingworthite, erlichmannite, several Ru-Ir-Pt-Ti-Cr-Fe oxide/ hydroxide compounds (sometimes well crystallized), Pt-Ir-K chlorocompounds, and Pt-Ir-Ru-K-Clcontaining opal. The latter two are considered as artifacts generated by the hydrometallurgical processes applied to the crude platinum ores. Individual particles of native iridium and osmium display baroque crystal habits (filaments, leafs, blades, hollow crystals) that could be their natural, although rarely observed, states. There is still doubt about the origin (either natural or artificial) of all Ru-Ir-Pt- Ti-Cr-Fe oxides, but they can be compared with those found in several pristine placer and hard-rock deposits worldwide and in the Urals.

Résumé :

This year, we celebrate the 130th anniversary of the birth of Latvian missionary Anna Irbe (1890–1973). She was an extraordinary woman and one of the first missionaries that went from Latvia into the mission field in Southern India. This paper examines her approach to missionary work, which was very innovative at the time and quite successful. It also discusses Irbe’s motives and philosophy of missionary service. Irbe very strongly stood against the theology of mission of the time, which held that Western missionaries were the ones bringing the culture to the poor heathens. She very acutely recognized that many of the Westerners, including some missionaries, held a supremacy attitude. She was willing to learn – she acquired the Tamil language, sought to understand the culture, differences in the caste system, and the attitudes of fellow missionaries. From her observations, she made a decision to do everything with an Indian style so that her work would not be considered foreign by local beneficiaries of the mission, which allowed her to be very successful in her ministry. Soon after the start of her ministry, Irbe developed a “Latvian village in India” called Karunagarapuri, which is located in the Coimbatore area, Tamil Nadu state. The name of the village means “The village of the most merciful God.” Irbe also recognized that the Gospel was always connected with culture, and therefore she was very open to discover and learn new things about Indian culture by visiting various temples and museums and meeting people of different castes. She was very open to ecumenism and was ready to use any opportunity to see where signs of God’s mercy could be noticed. During her ministry, she tried to fully identify with the local people, which was not the most common attitude among missionaries of that time. Overall, Irbe’s mission service and sacrifice brought plentiful fruit and it could be said that in her attitude and love towards the people of India, she was an extraordinary woman ahead of her time

La mayoría de los impactos entre aeronaves y fauna ocurre con aves, pero no todas las aves son iguales, por eso algunas especies son más propensas que otras a involucrarse en impactos; por lo tanto, es necesario identificar el nivel de riesgo inherente que representa cada especie de ave, es decir: el riesgo especie-específico. Para esto se propone el índice de riesgo de impacto especie-específico (IRIEE), como una herramienta cuantitativa y estandarizada; esta consta de una multi-matriz de ocho variables, con tres estados de variable cada una, también se sugiere un método preexistente para obtener el peso relativo o aporte de cada variable al riesgo total, y se discuten las virtudes y limitaciones de cada variable, así como del método en general. El IRIEE pretende ser una herramienta de evaluación objetiva y práctica para la implementación regular a la mayoría de aeropuertos de Colombia al diseñarse como un método de fácil interpretación y diligenciamiento que solo requiere información asequible desde las observaciones en campo.

A Forgotten Literary History Riddle: the Croatian Literary Episode of Irina Aleksander-Kunjina This paper presents the most important information about the mysterious Zagreb phase of Irina Aleksander-Kunjina’s biography, her role in Croatian interwar literature, and her relations with vital figures of the Croatian literary scene of that time. An overview of her literary contributions in Croatian literary journals will also be presented. Apart from the evaluation of her role in the interwar literary scene, the aim of this paper is to shed light on her writing in Croatian and the reception of her activity and works in Croatian literary milieu. Although she did receive attention among the literary public, this was more due to her public persona than her literary work. Furthermore, this paper aims to offer an summary of her position in Croatian literary history in the first half of the 20th century and her importance in the history of Croatian-Slavic literary relations.

This study aims to investigate the role of knowledge absorption in fostering innovation, organizational resilience, and agility in the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) through a qualitative approach. The research employed a qualitative exploratory design, utilizing semi-structured interviews to collect data. The participants included 26 managers and senior experts from IRIB in Tehran, selected using purposive sampling until theoretical saturation was achieved. Data were analyzed using qualitative content analysis and NVivo software, focusing on identifying themes and subthemes related to knowledge absorption, innovation, and agility. The findings highlighted three main themes: innovation, resilience, and agility, each influenced by the organization’s capacity to absorb and utilize knowledge. Subthemes of innovation included streamlining work processes, fostering creativity, and developing new products and services. Resilience was linked to effective change management, adaptability to environmental needs, and crisis resistance. Agility was found to depend on quick execution, structural flexibility, and continuous learning. Knowledge absorption emerged as a central enabler, facilitating the integration of new ideas, enhancing adaptability, and driving innovative initiatives. Challenges such as bureaucratic hurdles, inconsistent communication, and limited incentives were identified as barriers to achieving these outcomes. The study underscores the critical role of knowledge absorption in enhancing innovation, resilience, and agility in media organizations like IRIB. By addressing structural, cultural, and managerial barriers, the organization can better adapt to environmental changes and maintain its competitive edge. The results provide actionable insights for fostering a learning-oriented culture and adopting flexible, innovation-driven practices.

This study examines the impact of integrated resort brand experiences (IRBEs) on customer well-being through the satisfaction of psychological needs. Partial least squares path modeling tests the hypotheses using a sample of 535 integrated resort customers. The results reveal that four dimensions of IRBE (i.e., sensory, affective, behavioral, and intellectual) have differing effects on needs satisfaction dimensions (i.e., autonomy, competence, and relatedness). Furthermore, the results show that autonomy and relatedness needs positively influence both hedonic and eudaimonic well-being. Thus, this study strongly demonstrates that specific brand experiences play an important role in the transformation of needs satisfaction into well-being. The current article appears to have a significant application of the concept of needs satisfaction on tourism brand marketing but it has not been tested empirically. Also, this article describes the significance of multidimensional IRBE to marketing strategy.

This research explores the importance of improving the quality of UPT Jambi University Library as an information center in the millennial era. This research aims to build the image of UPT Library Jambi University by improving service quality to become more charismatic and quality. In the context of the industrial revolution 4.0, this research develops an Innovative-Realistic Service Model Based on Entrepreneurship (IRBE) that combines smart technology and entrepreneurial attitudes. By using the Research & Development method and adapting the ASSURE model, this research creates a model that suits the needs of UPT Jambi University Library. Although the initial response from users indicated suboptimal service quality, the IRBE Model received a feasibility percentage of 88.85%, indicating the potential for effective implementation. This model emphasizes reality and adaptability to the actual situation and conditions at Jambi University. However, there is a need to improve entrepreneurial attitudes and skills in its implementation in the future. Furthermore, this study suggests the implementation of the IRBE Model in UPT Library of Jambi University and similar institutions, as well as further research for optimization of the model.

El propósito principal de este estudio fue analizar la relación entre deseabilidad social (DS), el trastorno de conducta (TC) y el callo emocional (CE). En él participaron 150 adolescentes, entre los 13 y los 17 años (47% mujeres y 53% hombres), y se formaron dos grupos (con y sin probable TC). Se aplicó la escala de necesidad de aprobación social (ENAS), el cuestionario de detección del trastorno de conducta (CDTC), y el inventario de rasgos de insensibilidad emocional (IRIE). Se observó que el nivel de DS total resultó significativamente más bajo en el grupo con probable TC; también, una relación negativa baja entre la puntuación total del ENAS y las puntuaciones del CDTC, y negativas y moderadas con el IRIE. En conclusión se observó una relación negativa, aunque baja, entre la DS y el TC, y entre moderada y negativa con el CE. Las relaciones entre variables se modificaron en función de la edad y el género.

The genetic diversity of the world gene pool of collecting samples from the Federal Research Centre of All-Russian Institute of Plant Genetic Resources named after N.I. Vavilov (VIR) was studied in the conditions of the southern forest-steppe zone of Western Siberia. N.I. Vavilov (VIR) by economically valuable traits and grain quality. The study was conducted in four stages as the gene pool became available: 2000-2003, 2007-2008, 2009-2012, 2019-2020. A total of 186 samples were studied. The following varieties recommended by the State Commission of the Russian Federation were used as standards: Altai Niva, Omskaya Amber, Zhemchuzhina Sibiri. Sowing was carried out on May 1516 by fallow in the specialised crop rotation of the durum wheat breeding laboratory of the Omsk Research Center. The material received in the first year was studied in plots with an area of 0.25 m2, and in subsequent years 3 m2. Agroclimatic conditions varied from favourable to contrasting temperature and water regimes. In studies of durum wheat samples from the VIR collection of different origins, sources were identified according to their economic value. Of the diversity, only a small part (10%) is of breeding interest and can be used in hybridisation. As sources of resistance to stem rust, we offer k-6386, k-6662, k-46983, k-60410, Iride, k-65353, k-65733, k-65734. According to the complex of traits (high productivity, grain quality and resistance to diseases) are of breeding value samples k-59881 (Russia), k-6386 (Georgia), k-65734 (Syria), Sladunitsa (Ukraine) and Iride (Italy).

<p>Informing and providing awareness is a part of mass media’s significant responsibilities and social and political documentaries is one of the effective frames in performing this significant duty on adults and university students. Therefore, the main purpose of this study is proposing favorite strategies for IRIB in making social and political TV documentaries with the aim of promoting state social capital for university students and adults. The method is in-depth interview with experts and utilizing the findings of another research titled “an analysis of the views of Communication Sciences students regarding the IRIB’s political and documentaries with an emphasis on the utilitarian approach and gratification level” adopting the Rosengren approach. Results showed that aggressive strategies are the most proper policies for the IRIB. Finally, the formulated aggressive strategies were prioritized and the most important strategy for this research is “producing social and political documentaries with informational approach in an accurate, precise, and comprehensive manner and considering other needs of audiences such as amusement, personal identity, and personal relationships”.</p>

The continuous increase in industrialized sustainable development and energy demand, particularly in the use of steam, highlights the critical importance of efficient energy forecasting for sustainability. While current deep learning models have proven effective, they often involve numerous hyperparameters that are challenging to control and optimize. To address these issues, this research presents an innovative deep learning model, automatically fine-tuned using an improved RIME optimization algorithm (IRIME), with the aim of enhancing accuracy in energy forecasting. Initially, the bidirectional gated recurrent unit (BiGRU) exhibited promising results in prediction tasks but encountered difficulties in handling the complexity of high-dimensional time-series data related to industrial steam. To overcome this limitation, a bidirectional temporal convolutional network (BiTCN) was introduced to more effectively capture long-term dependencies. Additionally, the integration of a multi-head self-attention (MSA) mechanism enabled the model to more accurately identify and predict key features within the data. The IRIME-BiTCN-BiGRU-MSA model achieved outstanding predictive performance, with an R2 of 0.87966, MAE of 0.25114, RMSE of 0.34127, and MAPE of 1.2178, outperforming several advanced forecasting methods. Although the model is computationally complex, its high precision and potential for automation offer a promising tool for high-precision forecasting of industrial steam emissions. This development supports broader objectives of enhancing energy efficiency and sustainability in industrial processes.
