Résumé :
Preferred plant species utilized by camels across the three seasons (wet, cold dry and hot dry) were analyzed to determine their proximate and fibre constituents using recommended analytical procedures. The browse plant species were analyzed for moisture, ash, fat, protein, neutral detergent fibre (NDF) and acid detergent fibre (ADF). Values presented from the study were within the normal range. The highest values obtained from moisture content was 4.20% from Balanites egyptiaca; protein with 16.23% from Leptadenia hastata and ash (6.53%) from Piliostigma reticulatum both in hot dry season. Liver, unlike any organ, is the largest solid organ in the body that helps for the metabolism of the drugs and food materials that contained toxins and other substances are metabolized and detoxified in the liver only. The enzymes are present in the liver are cytochrome P450, and other enzymes like SGOT and SGPT are used as evaluation parameters in the liver diseases. Apart from the food, many drugs cause liver damage by causing cellular damage to the liver. The liver enzymes permanently or temporarily imbalanced with the daily consumption of toxic drugs. If this damage is permanent, then the

Résumé :
The aim of the present study was to evaluate the antiproliferative activity of crude extracts from leaves of Bauhinia variegata and Leptadenia reticulata using fission yeast Schizosaccharomyces pombe as a model. The crude extracts of both plants were prepared by three experimental conditions (25°C, elevated temperature and ultrasound waves) and four solvent systems [Water, Methanol, Water: Methanol (1:1) and Chloroform: Methanol (1:1)]. MTT assay was performed for estimating the cell viability and the results were expressed as % growth inhibition. Overall based on the MTT assay performed on ye

Objective: Leptadenia reticulata is the medicinal plant having many biological activities. It is necessary to find out which types of phytochemical constituents are present in the plant. The objective of this investigation was to isolate and identify the non-polar chemical entity of the areal parts of L. reticulata a plant used for medicinal purpose in folklore. Methods: Petroleum ether extract of the stem bark was used for this study. Non-polar solvent was used to extract non-polar chemical entity from areal parts of leptadeniareticulata. Through the saponification process, saponifiable
