Résumé :
The growth of the manufacturing sector in Ayurveda seems to be slowing down in the Indian state of Kerala as the prices of raw materials have increased inordinately, challenging the sustainability of ayurvedic drug production. Several reasons are responsible; in particular, the dwindling availability of plants, the excessive complexity of supply chains, the growing distances between plant sources and manufacturing units, and the control over the medicinal plant market by powerful middlemen. Substitution, adulteration, and quality control have become sensitive issues and may eventually damage t

Three groups of medicinal plants were taken for study, distinguishing among themselves by type of use. The sowing dates affecting the gross harvest of medicinal plant raw materials were studied. It has been established that early sowing dates allow increasing the yield of medicinal plant raw materials from 10.0 to 25%. The use of the studied range of medicinal herbs, which differ by type of use, will allow farms to increase the profitability of production up to 75%.The condu

Introduction. Medicinal plant raw materials are one of the most important sources of herbal remedies used both for the prevention and treatment of a number of diseases [1, 2]. Even with the development of modern science and chemistry, medicinal plant raw materials are widely used in both folk and official medicine. The advantage of medicinal plants is their wide range of biological activity, low toxicity and the possibility of long-term use without significant side effects. Every year, medicinal plant raw materials are increasingly found in the production of medicines. Despite a number of positive properties of plants and raw materials obtained from them, there are also negative aspects of the introduction of native (natural) drugs. For example, biological active substances, their quantity and activity, depend on the season of the year and the climatic conditions of the region. These factors are highly variable, and correlations of biologically active substances with weather are difficult to predict. Thus, only with the help of modern analytical instruments and v

Résumé :
Flavonoids are an important component of plant materials; they have medicinal and biologically active properties. To use them as medicines, it is necessary to determine their qualitative and quantitative composition. The aim of this work is a comparative analysis of the identification and metrological characteristics of methods for the determination of flavonoids in plant raw materials and products of their processing. The paper presents a brief literature review of the main methods for the study of flavonoids. Certified and advanced techniques, such as NMR and mass spectrometry, have been dis
