The use of new technologies aimed at improving the quality of fruit is needed to meet consumer demands and this should remain for a longer time in order to reach distant consumer markets. Thus, this study evaluated the influence of the application of bio-stimulants and spacing of planting the melon postharvest conservation. For this, two experiments were conducted at the Farm Garden, located at Pau-Branco community in Mossoró-RN, to assess the influence of bio-stimulants, application forms and planting space in post-harvest melons conservation. The experiments were divided into two phases: the field and the laboratory. The first experiment evaluated the effect of bio-stimulants and application form in pre-harvest quality and melon postharvest conservation Yellow 'Iracema'. The field phase of this experiment was conducted in a randomized blocks in a factorial scheme with an additional treatment 2 x 2 + 1, two bio-stimulants (Crop Set® and Spray Dunger®), two application forms (sprayed and fertilized) and a control (without product application), with five repetitions. The second experiment evaluated the influence of spacing and biostimulant in the production, quality and melon conservation hybrid Frog Skin Sancho. For the field phase of this experiment, we adopted a randomized blocks in factorial 3 x 2, with three spacing between plants (40, 45 and 50 cm) and two applications of bio-stimulant Crop Set® (with and without), with four replications. In both experiments, the combination of factors constituted the plots where the fruits were sampled for characterization in the laboratory quality during storage. The fruit harvest was performed when they reached commercial maturity, and on this occasion we assessed the number of fruits per plant, number of fruits per meter, average fruit weight and productivity. The laboratory phase of both experiments was conducted in a completely randomized design with split plots in storage time with eight replications. At that stage, one fruit group was characterized, the day after the harvest, and the other were stored in refrigeration chamber regulated at 101ºC and 902% RH, time-lapse of 14, 21, 28 and 35 days. At each time interval, the fruit were evaluated by mass loss (ML), pulp firmness (PF), soluble solids (SS), titratable acidity (TA), reason soluble solids/titratable acidity (ratio), pH, vitamin C (VC) and soluble sugars. The data were submitted to analysis of variance and the significant variables were compared by the Tukey test, and the average of the control treatment compared using the Dunnett test and for the significant variables in the storage life regression analysis was performed. The biostimulants and the application form before the harvest influenced the quality and service life Yellow melon postharvest 'Iracema'. In Yellow melons, the application of bio-stimulant fertigation led to higher average fruit weight and productivity. The fruits of PF decreased during storage, the largest decrease occurred with the application of Spray Dunger® via spraying. The application by fertigation provided greater SS content in fruit, but during the storage period the SS content of the fruits decreased and remained at 35 days levels of 10%. The higher content of soluble sugars was found in the application form via fertigation by applying Crop Set®, but there were decreases of soluble sugar after 35 days of storage. There was a linear increase in VC content during storage. For the melon 'Piel de Sapo' production, quality and conservation of fruit were influenced by crop at different spacings and bio-stimulant. Production variables were not influenced by the application of Crop Set®. However, the number and the weight of commercial fruit per plant increased as increased spacing between plants. The storage of fruit provided an increase in melons ML with application of bio-stimulant, independently of planting space. PF fruit decreased during storage. The planting spacing of 40 cm provides lower SS of fruit than the spacings of 45 and 50 cm
A utilização de novas tecnologias visando à melhoria na qualidade dos frutos é necessária para atender às exigências do consumidor e essa deve permanecer por um tempo maior visando a alcançar mercados consumidores distantes. Dessa forma, este trabalho avaliou a influência da aplicação de bioestimulantes e espaçamento de plantio na conservação pós-colheita de melão. Para isto, foram conduzidos dois experimentos na Fazenda Jardim, localizada na comunidade de Pau-Branco, em Mossoró-RN, para avaliar a influência de bioestimulantes, formas de aplicação e espaçamentos de plantio na conservação pós-colheita de melões. Os experimentos foram divididos em duas fases: campo e laboratório. O primeiro experimento teve por objetivo avaliar o efeito dos bioestimulantes e da forma de aplicação em pré-colheita na qualidade e conservação pós-colheita de melão Amarelo Iracema . A fase de campo deste experimento foi realizada em delineamento experimental em blocos casualizados em esquema fatorial com tratamento adicional 2 x 2 + 1, sendo dois bioestimulantes (Crop Set® e Spray Dunger®), duas formas de aplicação (pulverizado e fertirrigado) e uma testemunha (sem aplicação de produto), com cinco repetições. O segundo experimento teve por objetivo avaliar a influência do espaçamento e aplicação de bioestimulante na produção, qualidade e conservação de melão Pele de Sapo híbrido ˈSanchoˈ. Para a fase de campo deste experimento, foi adotado o delineamento experimental em blocos casualizados em esquema fatorial 3 x 2, sendo três espaçamentos entre plantas (40; 45 e 50 cm) e duas aplicações do bioestimulante Crop Set® (com e sem), com quatro repetições. Em ambos os experimentos, a combinação dos fatores constituiu as parcelas de onde foram amostrados os frutos para caracterização, em laboratório, da qualidade durante o armazenamento. A colheita dos frutos foi realizada quando estes atingiram a maturidade comercial, sendo nesta ocasião avaliados o número de frutos por planta (NFP), número de frutos por metro linear (NFML), peso médio de frutos (PMF) e produtividade (PROD). A fase de laboratório, de ambos os experimentos, foi realizada em delineamento inteiramente casualizado com parcelas subdivididas no tempo de armazenamento com oito repetições. Nessa fase, um grupo de frutos foi caracterizado, um dia após a colheita, e os demais foram armazenados em câmara de refrigeração regulada a 101ºC e 902%UR, por intervalo de tempo de 14, 21, 28 e 35 dias. Em cada intervalo de tempo, os frutos foram avaliadas quanto à perda de massa (PM), firmeza de polpa (FP), sólidos solúveis (SS), acidez titulável (AT), razão sólidos solúveis/acidez titulável (SS/AT), pH, vitamina C (Vit. C) e açúcares solúveis (AS). Os dados foram submetidos à análise de variância, sendo as variáveis significativas comparadas pelo teste de Tukey, e as médias do tratamento testemunha comparadas por meio do teste de Dunnett e para as variáveis significativas no tempo de armazenamento, foi realizada análise de regressão. Os bioestimulantes e a forma de aplicação em pré-colheita influenciaram a qualidade e vida útil pós-colheita de melão Amarelo Iracema . Em melões Amarelo, a aplicação do bioestimulante via fertirrigação propiciou maior PMF e maior produtividade. A FP dos frutos diminuiu durante o armazenamento, o maior decréscimo ocorreu com a aplicação de Spray Dunger® via pulverização. A aplicação via fertirrigação propiciou maior teor de SS nos frutos, mas durante o período de armazenamento o teor de SS dos frutos diminuiu e manteve aos 35 dias teores de 10%. O maior teor de açúcares solúveis foi verificado na forma de aplicação via fertirrigação com a aplicação de Crop Set®, mas houve decréscimos dos AS aos 35 dias de armazenamento. Houve aumento linear no teor de vitamina C durante o período de armazenamento. Para o melão Pele de Sapo , a produção, a qualidade e conservação dos frutos foram influenciadas pelo cultivo em diferentes espaçamentos e aplicação de bioestimulante. As variáveis de produção não foram influenciadas pela aplicação de Crop Set®. Porém, o número e o peso de fruto comercial por planta aumentaram com o aumento do espaçamento entre as plantas. O armazenamento dos frutos propiciou aumento na PM dos melões com aplicação do bioestimulante, independentemente do espaçamento de plantio. A FP dos frutos diminuiu durante o armazenamento. O espaçamento de plantio de 40 cm propiciou média de SS dos frutos inferior aos frutos dos espaçamentos 45 e 50 cm

Texte intégralThe theme of this work is the professional life of Eduardo Kneese de Mello (1906-1994) presented through his architectonic activity and focusing on the works and projects of collective dwelling. It marks the architect as an active character, indispensable to make public the power of the Modern Brazilian Architecture that happened in São Paulo as of 1940. It shows his contribution to the Brazilian architecture, linking the quality of his work to the texts he wrote and his fierce effort in the process of expanding the teaching of Architecture and Urbanism, including the defense and legal consolidation of the professional responsibilities of the architect. Through the analysis of eight projects, this work shows Eduardo Kneese de Mello´s, at times pioneer, contribution to collective dwelling in São Paulo.
Este trabalho tem como tema a trajetória profissional do arquiteto Eduardo Kneese de Mello (1906 1994), apresentada através de sua produção arquitetônica e com foco nas obras e projetos de habitação coletiva. Caracteriza o arquiteto como um personagem ativo e fundamental para a divulgação e afirmação da Arquitetura Moderna no Brasil, condição verificada em São Paulo, com maior intensidade, a partir de 1940. Expõe sua contribuição para a arquitetura brasileira relacionando a qualidade de sua obra, com os textos que produziu e com seu aguerrido empenho no processo de expansão do ensino de Arquitetura e Urbanismo, inclusive na defesa e consolidação legal das atribuições profissionais do arquiteto. O trabalho demonstra por meio da análise de oito projetos a contribuição de Eduardo Kneese de Mello, por vezes pioneira, para a habitação coletiva em São Paulo.

Resumo: O tema deste trabalho é o sistema de Recreio Ativo e Organizado defendido pelo engenheiro-arquiteto Luiz Ignácio Romeiro de Anhaia Mello para a cidade de São Paulo, no início do século XX. Analisa a inserção desta proposta de lazer em seu pensamento urbanístico, destacando sua representatividade para o projeto político de tornar a capital paulista uma cidade mais ¿humanizada¿. Problematiza, também, os desdobramentos sociais objetivados por Anhaia Mello, uma vez que este sistema de recreio estava voltado aos bairros operários, numa tentativa de educar os trabalhadores para a utilização de seu ¿tempo-livre¿. Através de artigos publicados em periódicos, entre as décadas de vinte e setenta, focalizamos seu argumento de que o lazer era um importante aliado na obtenção de ¿cidadãos úteis à pátria¿, por significar um momento propício à formação de um sentimento cívico e à valorização da vida em comunidade
Abstract: The subject of this work is the system of Organized and Active Recreation defended by the engineer-architect Luiz Ignácio Romeiro de Anhaia Mello for the city of São Paulo, on the beginning of the XX century. It analyses the insertion of this proposal of leisure in his urbanistic thought, highlighting its representativity for the political project of transforming the capital of the state into a more ¿humanized¿ city. It problematizes, also, the social implications aimed by Anhaia Mello, once this system of recreation was directed to the labour districts, on a tentative of educating the workers for the use of their ¿freetime¿. Through articles published in periodicals, between the twenties and the seventies, we focus his argument that the leisure was an important ally on the obtainment of ¿citizens useful to the nation¿, representing a favorable moment to the formation of a civic sense and to the valorization of the life in community

Texte intégralIn Sweden, as in many other parts of the world, production is moving toward an ever more automated environment. As part of this development the use of robot cells is steadily increasing. In line with this development a growing need for standard components for these robotic cells can be distinguished. Handling of goods is an important part of a robotic cell. The use of standardized pallets with its well-developed logistic support is an ideal platform to meet this need. In the production flow these goods cross the boundary between the robot and the operator. Thus, rises the need to facilitate such border crossing without affecting the safety of the operator nor the production capacity. By the means of established product development methods this project has produced a conceptual design for a pallet-lock. The basic idea of the design is a pallet space enclosed by perforated sheet metal. On the top side and one short-side the pallet-lock situates roller doors. The side door permits the operator access to the pallet while the top door prevents access to the work-area of the robot whilst the side door is opened. In order to allow for handling of goods as well as liners and blisters a robot cell contains three pallet-locks. All three are operated and placed separately according to the best conditions of the site. This ensures a high level of flexibility. All in all, the pallet lock is simple, practical, flexible and, above all, safe in its construction. The work has undergone project planning, information retrieval, requirement specification, concept generation and selection, configuration and final layout design, which gave a CAD-model of the final result. Much of the work went to the initial information search and the establishment of the requirement specification. An overall philosophy throughout the project was to minimize the risk of reconversion by thorough preparatory work. This was distinctly noticeable during the initial information retrieval and requirement specification. The concept selection process was divided into two parts. The introductory part included the main technical solution. The following part, in turn, handled the different parts of the chosen concept individually. This way of working optimized working time and focused on detail solutions only when it was appropriate. This report together with the CAD model aims to provide a basis for continued development towards a finished product.

Texte intégralWhat is the relation of image and word, of sentences and pictures? What kind of message does this combination produce when juxtaposed on a single material plane? And how do we read its “infinite” relation? These are the questions at the center of this inquiry. My main interest concerns the exact nature of the relation between photographic images and textual elements of poetic language when these are juxtaposed in what I call Phototext poetry.
The thesis calls into question the conventional reading habits of the conjunction of photographs and texts, and seeks to understand the more complex connections intrinsic to the relation image/word and its material and perceptual play in poetic works. Does a text always “anchor” the multiple meanings of an image, as Roland Barthes argues? What if the alterations of an image could “anchor” certain fractions of a poetic, polysemantic textual construct? Is a photograph indifferent to the visual, material permutations of texts that certain contemporary poetic practices produce?
I discuss phototextual works and collaborations of various kinds, from Molin fontän [“Molin’s fountain”] (1866) over classic surrealist poetry to language-oriented writing. This last interest also shows (with ambiguity) in the thesis’ two close readings: 23:23 (2006) by Swedish poet Marie Silkeberg and The Tango (2001) by American poet Leslie Scalapino. Throughout the study, I also put these in relation to other works of various, and related, kinds, such as artists’ books, concrete poetry, and phototexts in 20th century art.
My theoretization of phototext poetry focuses on questions of function. My perspective on the phototextual meeting in poetry is therefore concerned, not with taxonomy, but with local, contingent definitions. That is not to say, however, that certain things cannot be attributed to its particular, juxtaposed form. An “unthinkable space” (Michel Foucault), the relation between verbal and visual derives its dynamics from the different ways it actually makes itself “thinkable” and, furthermore, is materially represented. From Craig Dworkin’s conception of illegibility, Jacques Ranciere’s term phrase-image, and Roland Barthes’s obtuse meaning, I try to weave a network of connections concerning the reader’s relation to the photo/text conjunction. My argument that a certain phrase can cooperate with a certain part of an image, that a photo can “anchor” a specific meaning in a polysemantic text, and that the typographical appearance of a text may well have a plastic quality, also suggests a reading that focuses on systems of verbivisual parts and contingent intermedial meetings rather than the stable relation of a determining text and a determined image. In sum, I argue that the relation of photographs and texts must always be approached as a local problem.
My second argument is that the phototext is a self-reflexive form – it investigates itself, as it were. When a photograph and a (poetic) text are juxtaposed, they try to define their own media characteristics. In short, they often investigate the premises for phototextual documentation, communication, and aesthetics. The phototextual form therefore shares a photographic trait, as a “process of rendering observation self-conscious” (John Berger).
I also trace the supplementariness and discursiveness of the relation between image and word, and investigate how it affects our reading of this “disjunctive conjunction”. The text and the image run through each other, both inside and among us, as Rancière would have it. This, in turn, produces a contemporary approach to aesthetics (as a term and philosophical tradition) in this thesis, which involves the practice as much as the aesthetic perception of the phototextual combination. However, I also see as necessary to negotiate with the ways in which the image-word relation has been theorized since the early eighteenth century, as well as with earlier, even ancient, conceptions.
In short, the aim of this thesis is to conceptualize the relation of photographs and texts in phototext poetry, not by destroying the dualistic positions of the visual and the verbal, but rather by re-negotiating them: by approaching them as located inside as well as between these two media, image and text. The relation of photographs and poetic text, I therefore suggest, performs its work “inside” language, at the same time opening up towards the “infinity of language” (Barthes).

Texte intégralDenna uppsats är, precis som titeln anger, en analys av sambandet mellan motsägelser och ångest. De nutida vardagsuttrycken för begreppen utreds och granskas med hjälp av känslo- och rationalitetsfilosofiska teorier och distinktioner ifrån Arne Næss och Jean-Paul Sartre. Författaren föreslår en egen definition av ångest och jämför denna med andra filosofers och tankeskolors definitioner av begreppet. Författarens syn på ångest skiljer sig från Sartres, då han menar att ångest kan lösas upp och att den ofta är väldigt specifik och konkret till sin karaktär, medan Sartre menar att ångesten är omöjlig att lösgöra sig ifrån och att den är av ett mycket mer generellt slag. Detta konkreta och specifika element i den ångestdefinition, som författaren vill lägga fram, består i att ångesten uppstår i vissa valsituationer där valalternativen, i någon form, är sinsemellan motsägande och där ett val är tvunget att göras.
This paper is, as the title states, an analysis of the connection between contradictionsand anxiety. The present everyday expressions of these concepts are investigated with the help of philosophical theories from Arne Næss and Jean-Paul Sartre concerning emotions and rationality. The author presents his own definition of anxiety and compares it to other philosophers and thinkers’ definitions of the same concepts, and this way he reaches a conclusion. For example this conclusion diverge with Sartre’s view of anxiety, because the author states that it is possible to get free from anxiety and that it is often something very particular and precice, while Sartre says it is impossible to free yourself from it and that it is very general by nature. This specific element in the author’s definition of anxiety lies in the fact that he thinks of it as something that often occurs in situations with two or more options, and where these options are, amongst themself, contradictory in one form or an other, and where a choice has to be made.

This study aimed to investigate the correlation between physical activity level (PAL), measured with activity diary and accelerometer, among overweight and obese children and adolescents. The aim was also to study differences in PAL between girls and boys.
Design:
55 children and adolescents, whom been subjected to a physical activity registration with a physical activity diary and accelerometer during three or four days, were included in this study. From the data received from the children’s journal records PAL was calculated and compiled for statistic analysis.
Results:
The results of the study showed that the children underestimated their physical activity level when measured with activity diary, in comparison with the physical activity level measured with accelerometer. Differences between girl and boys PAL values were not statistically significant, although the girls PAL values from the accelerometer, but not from the activity diary, reached a moderate activity level according to Nordic nutrition recommendation. No correlation between the activity diary and accelerometer was found.
Conclusions:
The Activity diary can not be used as solitary instrument to mesure physical activity in obese or overweight children.
There is no validated way to measure physical activity in overweight or obese children.
Before studies can be conducted with reliable results, physical activity level scales and calculated BMR must be designed for overweight and obese children.

Texte intégralThe major purpose of this thesis has originated from the presentation and assessment of the residential designs of Architect Eduardo Kneese de Mello (1906-1994) along his career in the city of São Paulo. In order to understand the main features of his work, we deemed necessary to explore his academic background based on the two major Architecture courses existing in this city - Polytechnic School of the University of Sao Paulo - (Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo) and School of Engineering of Mackenzie University (Escola de Engenharia da Universidade Mackenzie) - during the two first decades of the 20th century. We did this trying to reach the possibility to evidence one of the premises of this survey, that is based on the fact that the first stage of the professional path of Kneese de Mello is related to the learning obtained from his university studies. The development of the work, as may be seen, has revealed that many of such knowledge and means of creating have remained in his work even after his well-known conversion to the precepts of the Modern Movement. We do then present and assess a series of residences designed by the Architect. Most of the production assessed (39 designs out of the 45 selected for the case studies) is linked to the late Eclecticism of the 1930s and 1940s, when wealthier families from Sao Paulo liked the reproduction of stylistic standards, seeing them as a synonym of progress and social status and for the fact that they express a social identification with the lifestyle of European metropolis and further, with American standards and way of life. The other six designs represent a second stage of his professional path and are related directly to the foundations of the Modern Architecture. Ultimately, we search for the path taken in the survey of the work of the Architect, to understand how the transition period took place, pointing out some convergence and analogies, similarities and discrepancies, innovation and continuity in the ways the Architect conceived Architecture.

Resumo: A presente pesquisa tem por objetivo analisar o impacto do curso de formação continuada ―Melhor Gestão, Melhor Ensino‖ na modalidade semipresencial; oferecido aos professores pela Secretaria da Educação do Estado de São Paulo junto à EFAP - Escola de Formação e Aperfeiçoamento. Para promover a discussão acerca do significado de tal formação, o presente estudo propõe-se a analisar o modelo do curso de formação continuada oferecido pela Secretaria da Educação do Estado de São Paulo, no âmbito da Diretoria de Ensino de Ribeirão Preto no ano 2013, bem como o seu reflexo na profissionalização docente. Tal análise dar-se-á por intermédio de discussão da legislação referente ao assunto, da revisão dos estudos teóricos concernentes à formação continuada de professores e, ainda, do tratamento dos dados coletados junto à EFAP dos professores inscritos e concluintes e de questionários com professores de quatro escolas da cidade de Batatais que realizaram cursos de formação continuada na modalidade EAD. Dessa forma, procura-se apreender a relevância da formação continuada no contexto da educação básica pública e do uso das TICs nessa formação
Abstract: This research aims to analyze the impact of the continued education formation course Better Management, Better Education in semipresential mode; offered by the State Department of Education of São Paulo together with EFAP - School for Training and Improvement; for teachers and for their practice. To promote discussion about the meaning of this formation, this study aims to analyze the continued education course model offered by the State Department of Education of São Paulo, as part of the Education Directorship of RibeirãoPreto in 2013, as well as the reflection of this in teaching professionalization. Such analysis will take place through discussion of legislation on the subject, the review of theoretical studies concerning the continued education of teachers and also the processing of data collected from EFAP - School for Training and Improvement of teachers enrolled and graduating and questionnaires with teachers from four schools of Batatais city who held continued education courses in Distance Education mode. This way, it's looked to understand the importance of continued education in the context of public basic education and the use of ICTs in this formation

The present study describes and analyses the Estado de S. Paulo?s positioning on Fernando Collor de Mello, in 1992, and Dilma Rousseff, in 2016, impeachment process through its editorial. Altogether, there were studied 10 editorials in 1992; 2 in September, one in October, four in November and three in December. Already in 2016, 11 editorial were analyzed; three in April, four in May, one in June, one in July and two on August. This study uses content analysis to unravel two troubled moments of Brazilian political life through one of the largest newspapers in the country point of view. At the end, it is possible to conclude that are differences in the way both cases were treated. On President Fernando Collor de Mello?s impeachment, the publication regrets the end of the former president government while on President Dilma Rousseff?s impeachment they bet the country will be better without it.
O presente trabalho descreve e analisa o posicionamento do jornal Estado de S. Paulo em seus editoriais nos per?odos de processo de impeachment dos presidentes Fernando Collor de Mello, em 1992, e Dilma Rousseff, em 2016. Ao todo, s?o 10 editoriais no ano de 1992; dois em setembro, um em outubro, quatro em novembro e tr?s em dezembro. J? em 2016, 11 editoriais foram analisados; tr?s em abril, quatro em maio, um em junho, um em julho e dois em agosto. Este estudo utiliza a an?lise de conte?do para desvendar os dois momentos conturbados da vida pol?tica brasileira, pela vis?o de um dos maiores jornais do pa?s. Ao final, pode-se concluir uma diferencia??o no tratamento do impresso nos dois casos. Quanto ao presidente Fernando Collor de Mello, a publica??o lamenta o fim do governo do ex-presidente, enquanto que para presidente Dilma Rousseff, o ve?culo aposta que o Brasil se sair? melhor sem ela.

Texte intégralBackground: The maintenance of functional and cognitive abilities is one of the factors associated to quality of life during aging. The literature has little data about the factors associated with better cognitive performance in older adults. Objective: To identify factors associated with better global cognitive performance in older adults residents in São Paulo. Method: For this, data from the SABE Study - Health and Wellness in Aging was analyzed, a multicenter and longitudinal research conducted in a representative sample of older adults living in São Paulo/SP in 2006. Older adults without cognitive decline according to four levels of schooling, no schooling, 1 to 3 years, 4 to 7 and 8 years and more were investigated. Among the first three levels of schooling the group of normal cognitive performance were composed to older adults with MMSE scores ranked in the first and second tertiles. The group with better cognitive performance scored in the third tertile. Regard to the older adults with 8 or more years of schooling were considered normal performance score 28 and 29 points and better cognitive performance 30 points on MMSE. The variables examined were age, sex, housing condition, marital status, income perception, socioeconomic health in the first 15 years of life, family functioning, depressive symptoms, self-reported chronic disease; difficulties in at least one or more Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL), frequency of participation in group activities, occupational, physical and related to active social contact, and frequency of social contacts (family and friends). Data were analyzed by multiple logistic regression models. The reference group for the models consisted of the elderly with normal cognitive performance. The significance level of analysis was 5 per cent (p 0.05). Results: Individuals with better MMSE scores were concentrated in the age group 60 to 74 years and it´s majority reported living with someone at home and have a partner (a). Approximately half of this group was composed of older women and older who reported that revenues were insufficient to meet their daily needs. These older adults had a lower prevalence of difficulties in ADL and IADL and high level of participation in the activities investigated. In the final logistic regression model with the older adults more likely to outperform the absence of reported difficulty in IADL, no excess alcohol consumption (without abuse), self-perception that earnings are sufficient to meet daily needs, active social contact with family and friends and the younger age group

Este estudo aborda uma proposta de formação de gestores desenvolvida por duas Supervisoras de Ensino da Diretoria de Ensino Região de Araraquara no ano de 2014. Realizada a partir do método de pesquisa-ação, teve como objetivo fornecer subsídios para uma melhor compreensão da atual Organização Curricular do Estado de São Paulo pelas equipes escolares. Optou-se por organizá-la em três seções: a primeira apresenta os documentos que compõem o programa São Paulo Faz Escola e o seu processo de implantação. A segunda apresenta uma incursão pelos resultados de uma avaliação externa realizada anualmente pela Secretaria da Educação do Estado de São Paulo, denominada Sistema de Avaliação do Rendimento Escolar do Estado de São Paulo (Saresp), que demonstra em termos de indicadores numéricos como está sendo feita a implementação desse programa entre os anos 2009 e 2014. Por fim, a terceira seção apresenta um processo de realização de uma Proposta de Formação de Gestores das escolas estaduais da Diretoria de Ensino da Região de Araraquara, cujos objetivos centraram-se em validar o papel de formador dos gestores das escolas diante de sua equipe escolar e, ainda, em prepará-los para uma melhor compreensão dos fundamentos e diretrizes da atual Organização Curricular do Estado de São Paulo.
This study addresses a proposal for a management training developed by two Supervisors of Diretoria de Ensino Região de Araraquara in 2014. Held from the action research method, aimed to provide a basis for better understanding of the current Curricular Organization the State of São Paulo by school teams. It was decided to organize it into three sections: the first presents the documents that make up the São Paulo Faz Escola program and its implementation process. The second presents an incursion by the results of an external evaluation carried out annually by the Secretaria da Educação do Estado de São Paulo, called Sistema de Avaliação do Rendimento Escolar do Estado de São Paulo (Saresp), which shows in terms of numerical indicators as is being done the implementation of this program in the years 2009 and 2014. Finally, the third section presents a process of conducting a Proposal for Training Managers of state schools of the Diretoria de Ensino da Região de Araraquara, whose objectives focused on validating the role of school managers trainer in front of his school team and also to prepare them for a better understanding of fundamentals and guidelines of the current Curricular Organization of the State of São Paulo.

Resumo: Aranhas vivem em ambientes estreitamente definidos, limitados por condições físicas, como temperatura, umidade, ventos e intensidade luminosa; e também por fatores biológicos, como o tipo de vegetação, disponibilidade de presas, competidores e inimigos naturais. A família Araneidae é a principal família de aranhas construtoras de teias orbiculares. A aranha Eustala perfida ocorre preferencialmente no interior da mata, construindo a teia próxima a uma concavidade em troncos de árvores. Possui coloração críptica semelhante a musgos e liquens, adaptação que confere à espécie dupla vantagem, pois dificilmente são percebidas por suas presas e seus predadores. A falta de estudos sobre este gênero de aranhas e sua história de vida, bem como o papel ecológico que desempenha, motivou a elaboração do presente estudo, que foi realizado na Serra do Japi ¿ Jundiaí (SP) e tem como objetivo elucidar aspectos da história natural de Eustala perfida, tais como distribuição espacial, especificidade por substrato, fenologia, flutuação da população, caracterização da teia, diversidade de presas e seus inimigos naturais. A espécie Eustala perfida ocorre em altitudes que vão desde 850 até 1294 m, sendo mais abundante em altitudes intermediárias. Todos os indivíduos foram encontrados no interior da mata, com maior ocorrência em troncos contendo musgos, líquens e concavidades, que servem como pontos de fixação para a construção das teias. A espécie foi encontrada com maior frequência em árvores com diâmetros maiores do que 30 cm e construindo suas teias em alturas de até 1,5 m. Observou-se que a população de Eustala perfida apresenta picos de frequência sucessivos dos diferentes estádios de desenvolvimento, com início nos meses quentes do ano (janeiro), quando os indivíduos começam a emergir. A população parece ter apenas um ciclo reprodutivo ao longo do ano, com picos fenológicos em todas as fases de desenvolvimento. Observou-se maior frequência de presas potenciais com até 1 mm de comprimento, sendo que os grupos mais amostrados foram Diptera e Hymenoptera. Houve diferença nas frequências de tamanho das presas potenciais e predadas por Eustala sendo que presas com mais de 1 mm de comprimento foram mais predadas do que o esperado ao acaso. Eustala perfida apresentou dinâmica e fenologia semelhante à de Misumenops argenteus (Thomisidae). Nestas duas espécies o ciclo de vida e a fenologia parecem ajustados às estações climáticas e à disponibilidade de presas. Foram encontrados sete indivíduos de E. perfida parasitados por larvas de Acrotaphus sp. (Pimplinae: Icheneumonidae). Trata-se do terceiro caso de manipulação comportamental de aranhas em sua construção de teia envolvendo parasitoides deste gênero
Abstract: Spiders live in narrowly defined environments, limited by physical conditions such as temperature, humidity, winds and light intensity; and also by biological factors such as vegetation type, prey availability, competitors and natural enemies. Araneidae is the principal family of orb-weaver spiders. The spider of the present study, Eustala perfida, occurs preferentially within the forest, along tree trunks, building its web in regions where there are concavities on the trunk. It has cryptic coloration similar to mosses and lichens, adaptation that presents a dual advantage, because the spiders are hardly perceived by their prey and also their predators. The lack of studies of this genus and its natural histories, as well as the ecological role that it plays, motivated the development of this project, which was conducted at Serra do Japi ¿ Jundiaí (SP) and aims to elucidate aspects of the natural history of Eustala perfida, such as spatial distribution, substrate specificity, phenology, population fluctuation, characterization of the web, prey diversity and natural enemies. Eustala perfida occurred at altitudes ranging from 850 to 1294 m, being significantly more abundant in intermediate altitudes. All individuals were found within the forest, with the highest occurrence in trunks containing mosses, lichens and concavities, which serve as attachment points for the construction of the web. The species was found more frequently on trees with diameters larger than 30 cm and building their webs in heights up to 1.5 m. The population dynamics of Eustala perfida is well defined, showing successive peaks of different developmental stages starting in the warm months of the year (January), when individuals begin to hatch. The population seems to have only one reproductive cycle throughout the year, with peaks in all phases of phenological development. There was a higher frequency of potential prey up to 1 mm in length, and the most sampled groups were Diptera and Hymenoptera. There were differences in the size frequencies of potential and predated prey of E. perfida, and prey with more than 1 mm in length were predated more than expected. Eustala perfida presented dynamic and phenology similar to Misumenops argenteus (Thomisidae). In these two species, the life cycle and phenology seem to set seasons and prey availability. Seven individuals of E. perfida were found parasited by Acrotaphus sp. (Pimplinae: Icheneumonidae) larvae. Texte intégralThis study aims to analyse the insertion of the Architecture and Urban Planning School in the University of São Paulo, FAUUSP, in the field of architecture and urban planning in São Paulo, through the contribution of two of its main founders, Luiz Inácio Romeiro de Anhaia Mello (1891-1974) and João Batista Vilanova Artigas (1915-1985). Both were architect engineers from de Polytechnic School of São Paulo, although they belonged to different generations. In his professional life, Anhaia Mello became an acknowledged urban planner, defending the institutionalization of this policy inspired on the north-ameri- can regional planning. Artigas was Anhaia Mello´s student and assistant and later became one of the most respected architects in the Modern Movement in São Paulo. It is intended to verify how the differences and convergences of their thoughts, linked to distinct intellec- tual references, interfered in the configuration of the new teaching institution, reflecting on the larger debate on the field of architecture and urban planning´s consolidation. To do so it was resorted to a vast bibliographical consultation and also to document analysis from the studied period which has as milestones the years of 1948, year of the establishment of FAUUSP, and 1962, when an education reform was implemented as to consolidate the idea of one field where the scales of the object, building and city were subordinated to the project activity. Around 1940, internal and external factors to the university lead to a demand for the creation of an architecture school independent from the Polytechnic School, with the cor- respondent extinction of the course of architect engineers that existed since 1894. Anhaia Mello, one of the main teachers of the Polytechnic School since 1926, was designated to coordinate the founding of the new school and invited Artigas to participate on this process. Despite the different ideas of these two professionals, their meeting at FAUUSP did not expose a debate or displayed the divergences, suggesting a continuity among architecture and urbanism. The intended hypothesis to defend is that, despite the different perspectives around both disciplines, the reunion of architecture and urbanism at FAUUSP was part of a strategy for both fields willing to obtain autonomy from engineering and the Polytechnic School and the consolidation of certain principles, in order to benefit specific visions of architecture and urbanism. Therefore, the constitution of only one institutional field at the new school actually revealed an arena of multiple interests, not always convergent to the goals of a range of professional activities very different from each other.

This research presents an analysis of social and psychological reports dispatched by the family court of the judicial district of the state of São Paulo that are related to lawsuits from ex-couples that fight in court for child custody. It investigates the concepts of childhood and best interests of the child manifested on the judiciary technicians and law professionals discourses; the criteria used to determine the parent(s) ability(ies) related to custody activities; the parameters for the definition of family, family conflict and custody award. It analyzes the reports according with the recommendations of the Federal Council of Psychology and the Federal Council of Social Service. Two lawsuits were selected, one concerning modified custody and the other concerning joint custody. The theoretical background are the Vygotsky's social-historic psychology and its categories of analysis, meanings and significances, along with Foucault's considerations about legal practices. The results point different ways of understanding family dynamics, relations of parenthood and affiliation, intersubjective conflicts, expressed in the reports. The subtexts revealed in the reports do not stray from the law professionals narratives; they are normative discourses, endorsed by the legislation; they are narratives that do not take into account neither the family dynamics nor the situation of the child given the family and the legal conflicts. This research concludes that the axis of the narrative is not the child but the conception of the ideal bourgeois family. Many are the difficulties that pass through the relation between psychology and law and that interfere in the dialogue between them, as the child listening importance and the conception of child development founded in maturity and age criteria. It is noteworthy, therefore, the importance of understanding the child as an active, singular, being, endowed with the capacity of signify their experiences
Esta pesquisa apresenta uma análise de laudos psicológicos e sociais produzidos na vara de família de comarca do estado de São Paulo e se referem a ações de ex-casais que brigam judicialmente pela guarda dos filhos. Investiga as concepções de infância e de melhor interesse da criança manifestadas nos discursos dos técnicos judiciários e dos operadores do direito; os argumentos utilizados para determinar a capacidade do(s) pai(s) em relação ao exercício da guarda; as condições para a definição de família, de conflito familiar e de atribuição da guarda. Analisa os laudos de acordo com as recomendações do Conselho Federal de Psicologia e do Conselho Federal de Serviço Social. Foram selecionados dois processos judiciais, um caso de guarda modificada e outro de guarda compartilhada. Tem como referencial teórico a psicologia sócio-histórica de Vygotsky e suas categorias de análise, significados e sentidos, complementados por reflexões de Foucault sobre as práticas jurídicas. Os resultados apontam diferentes formas de compreensão da dinâmica familiar, das relações de parentalidade, de filiação, dos conflitos intersubjetivos, expressados nos laudos. Os subtextos revelados nos laudos não se distanciam das narrativas dos operadores do direito; são discursos normativos, referendados pelas legislações; são narrativas que não se ocupam da dinâmica familiar nemda situação da criança diante do conflito familiar e judicial. Conclui que o eixo da narrativa não é a criança, é sim a concepção de família ideal burguesa. Muitas são as dificuldades que atravessam a relação entre a psicologia e o direito e que interferem no diálogo entre elas, como a importância da escuta da criança e a concepção de desenvolvimento infantil fundada em critérios de maturação e idade. Destaca-se, assim, a importância de compreender a criança como ser ativo, singular, dotada da capacidade de significar as suas experiências.

Texte intégralThe efforts made by INEP (Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira) in the last few years to organize database related to Brazilian elementary schools have opened important opportunities of research in this field. By means of a perspective of study focused on management and administrative procedures, seeking to supplement the most classical proposals of research oriented either towards pedagogical aspects or to macroeconomic studies, the effort of the present research seeks to identify characteristics and practices of managers of schools with better relative performances (socio-economic conditions versus students performances in the Prova Brasil) in the assessments of the knowledge of students in elementary public schools, from experiences identified in the state of São Paulo. Being of explorative character, the research is based on multiple-cases study method, more specifically with the use of semi-structured interviewing guidelines technique and critical incident technique; technique of direct systematic observation; and of document analysis in two pairs of schools selected by means of comparison of the performance in the second phase of the Prova Brasil and the schools socio-economic index (SEI), besides other requisites. This type of cases determination enabled the contextualized and compared analysis of a school whose performance was higher than expected and of another whose performance was lower than expected, both in the same city. For data analysis, it was utilized content analysis technique with the aid of Atlas.ti software. The research results and discussion contemplate characteristics and practices of (principal, assistant principal, pedagogical coordinator and school supervisor) as well as relevant contextual factors, pressures and difficulties that end up outlining certain types of actions or even limiting intended actions. More specifically, the following points were covered: managers profiles (origin, age, education, interests, how they reached the position and the reason why they took it, and experience); schools internal and external context (existing representative groups, the way they work; favourability of the organizational environment; importance attached to external assessments; perceived pressures and difficulties and the other contextual factors mentioned); and, at last, ways of working and management practices (management styles; tasks and roles played by managers; job satisfaction; their opinion about education, learners, the contribution of their positions to learners and the differential qualities of the school where they work). These various points were presented in a compared way, pair by pair, and, afterwards records were made of what might be differential factors for a better performance and therefore to contribute to the definition of good management practices dissemination policies, as well as to the organization of school managers training programs. It can be concluded that each school is a particularly complex universe and it can be highlighted that the ability of self-changing and of changing the internal and external environment seems to be present in the management of schools with positive DRE. Additionally, these schools seem to count on a collaborative team as well as participating parents and community.

Resumo: Esta Dissertação focaliza a H Bienal do Museu de Arte Moderna de São Paulo que representa um alto momento da cultura brasileira, onde ao lado de outros eventos comemorativos do IV Centenário da cidade de São Paulo, possibilitou trazer ao público brasileiro e internacional uma ampla e bela exposição, com retrospectivas históricas e a ocorrência de uma acalorada competição para uma distribuição inédita de prêmios, onde destaca-se a divisão do prêmio de Melhor Pintor Nacional. Este estudo destaca o amplo debate sobre arte abstrata ocorrido naquela ocasião. A presença de críticos internacionais de arte no Júri de Premiação, de representantes nacionais neste Júri, bem como de outros atuantes na imprensa possibilitaram o contraponto, dentro de um grupo bem diverso e ativo. Este debate é recuperado neste estudo, através de entrevistas de época, bem como de comentários da imprensa naquele momento. Para contextualizar este debate a nível nacional, são recuperados os antecedentes que engrandeceram o cenário das artes plásticas no Brasil, destacando-se o Salão de Maio organizado por Flávio de Carvalho em 1938, a criação em São Paulo do Museu de Arte de São Paulo (Masp), em 1947, e o Museu de Arte Moderna de São Paulo (MAM-SP) em 1948 e a efervescência dos debates sobre a evolução da arte no pais associados a estes eventos
Abstract: The 2nd Biennial at the Museu de Arte Moderna in São Paulo represents a very bright moment for Brazilian culture. At the occasion, several other events celebrated the 4th Centennial of the city of São Paulo. The 2nd Biennial presented a very fine collection, with several retrospective exhibitions and a much disputed contest for a series of new awards, being Best National Painter" the most remarkable. The 2nd Biennial had several important antecedents, events that richly improved the arts scene in Brazil. Among them, the 'Salão de Maio1, organized in 1938 by Flávio de Carvalho, and the foundation of both Museu de Arte de São Paulo (MASP) in 1947 and the Museu de Arte Moderna de São Paulo (MAM-SP), in 1948. Several international art critics, important Brazilian critics and writers with strong presence in the newspapers composed the Award Jury. Thus, the jury was a very distinct and diversified group, which generated considerable impact on the press coverage. The critical debate ensued by the 2nd Biennial is therefore an important aspect of the present study

Texte intégralThe public libraries controlled by São Paulo City Culture Bureau were the target of this survey, which raised and analysed registered data from 60 libraries, raised and analysed natural and artificial lighting data and the energy consumption for this latter purpose out of a sample of 15 libraries and prepared a retrofit project for one case. Raising registered data, lighting system data and energy consumption was carried out by using survey cards developed to systematise the data collection during the research. Architectural plans were updated, the energy bills were listed and calculated were the average monthly consumption values, specific and disaggregated, installed power, density of lighting power and electric energy expenditure of 15 selected libraries as a universe sample. As a preliminary diagnosis of such sample, we observed the predominance of inefficient equipments in the artificial lighting system and the final lighting use represented the major percentage of the libraries overall electric consumption. In order to prepare the retrofit project, we chose the library presenting the major percentage of disaggregated lighting consumption amongst all studied cases and, to such, we updated the energy survey and the analysis of natural and artificial lighting was deepened by means of measurements and computer simulation. The main principles guiding the development of this project were the application of an artificial lighting system complementary to daylighting, the adequacy of illuminance values to the visual needs of each room and the adoption of efficient equipments. The application of an artificial lighting system composed of technologically efficient equipments allows the reduction in the energy consumption in a building, being such reduction significant and achievable when that system is used in a complementary way with daylighting and with automatic operation. Before this so constructed repertory, we defined some guidelines for best daylighting utilization and reduction of the artificial lighting use.

Esta pesquisa aborda as transformações ocorridas no panorama artístico da cidade de Belém na década de 60, para tanto destaca as obras Xumucuís e a série Lúmens, repectivamente de Valdir Sarubbi e Branco de Melo no momento em que foram selecionadas para XI Bienal de São Paulo em 1971. O objetivo da pesquisa é, a partir dessa abordagem, categorizar e analisar os, processos e contradições artísticas ocorridas no pensamento dos sujeitos, na cidade e na região onde se localiza a metrópole amazônica. Utilizando a esteira teórica de BERMAN (1986), BENJAMIN (1991, 1995) e CANCLINI (2003), o estudo demonstra que tais obras tiveram participação importante no campo cultural das artes visuais, especificamente em Belém, e, por extensão, contribui para o entendimento do impacto da modernidade na produção artística na América Latina.
This research addresses the transformations occurring in the artistic panorama of the city of Belem in the 60's, to highlight both the works and the series Xumucuís Lumens, respectively of Valdir Melo Sarubbi and Branco de Melo when they were selected for XI Biennial in 1971. The objective of this research is, from this approach, categorize and analyze the processes and contradictions that occurred in the thinking of artistic subjects, in the city and the region where is located the Amazonian metropolis. Using the treadmill theoretical BERMAN (1986), BENJAMIN (1991, 1995) and CANCLINE (2003), the study demonstrates that these works had an important participation in the cultural field of visual arts, specifically in Belem, and, by extension, contribute to the understanding of the impact of modern artistic production in Latin America.

The goal of our work is to investigate the influences reading from the poet Joao Cabral de Melo Neto and possible overruns through the conquest of a unique style. Contextualizaremos the production of literary and intellectual author, working with the "field", "context" and "paratopia" based on readings of The rules of art (1996), Pierre Bourdieu and The context of literary work (2001), Dominique Maingueneau, respectively. Abordaremos the influences received by the poet in the literature and other fields such as visual arts, architecture, mathematics, philosophy and the different places where resided and the travel he has done. Use the categories "influence" and "overrun", systematized by the American literary critic Harold Bloom works in The anguish of influence (1991) and A map of desleitura (2003). So with the idea of overcoming, we want to examine The work Education by stone (1966) which marks the poetry of John Cabral a more mature by their experiences with the language. First, we will see the context of production in prose and verse of the author. Then mapeamos their influences, and a third time, investigate how the poet surpassed, building an individual and own poetic.
O objetivo de nosso trabalho é investigar as influências de leitura do poeta João Cabral de Melo Neto e a possível superação através da conquista de um estilo próprio. Contextualizaremos a produção literária e intelectual do autor, trabalhando com as categorias de “campo”, “contexto” e “paratopia”, com base nas leituras de As regras da arte (1996), de Pierre Bourdieu e O contexto da obra literária (2001), de Dominique Maingueneau, respectivamente. Abordaremos as influências recebidas pelo poeta na literatura e de outros campos como o das artes plásticas, da arquitetura, da matemática, da filosofia e dos diferentes lugares em que residiu e das viagens que realizou. Utilizaremos as categorias “influência” e “superação”, sistematizadas pelo crítico literário americano Harold Bloom nas obras A angústia da influência (1991) e Um mapa da desleitura (2003). Assim, com a idéia de superação, pretendemos analisar a obra A educação pela pedra (1966) que marca a poética de um João Cabral mais amadurecido por suas experiências com a linguagem. Primeiro, veremos o contexto da produção em prosa e verso do autor. Em seguida, mapearemos suas influências e, em um terceiro momento, investigaremos como o poeta as superou , construindo uma poética própria e individual.

In order to discours the centrality of the public morality in the political field in the country. The first chapter will Dut foward the main characteristics of the candidate' s discourse as far as the "Brazilian crisis" is concern. In the following chapter it will be identified those who the candidates point out as the responsable by the "Brazilian crisis". The third chapter will discuss the candidates's solutions to the crisis. Finally in the fourth chapter it will be analysed how the candidates try to build a personal image as an agent of decency and how they stress this characteristic as a fundamental quality to a president in order to solve the country's crisis.

Texte intégralEsta dissertação analisa o papel da coleção no museu de arte contemporânea, refletindo sobre a coleção como lugar e discurso; as transformações no campo museológico e artístico contemporâneo; a exposição como dispositivo do museu e, simultaneamente, parte constituinte da obra de arte. Através de dois casos de estudo, o Museu de Arte Moderna de São Paulo e o Museu de Arte Contemporânea de Serralves, as coleções são situadas no contexto histórico, arquitetônico e programa expositivo de cada museu. Atentando para a dimensão interrogativa que as obras de arte introduzem nos modos correntes de conceber e praticar a coleção, são abordados especificamente os trabalhos “O trabalho dos dias”, de Rivane Neuenschwander, “Bala”, “Quadris” (da série Homem=Carne/Mulher=carne) e “Palhaço com buzina reta - monte de irônicos”, de Laura Lima, “Expediente”, de Paulo Bruscky, “Máquina Curatorial”, de Nicolás Guagnini e “Café Educativo”, de Jorge Menna Barreto, provenientes do acervo do MAM-SP e “Outro fumador”, de André Guedes, “This is new”, de Tino Sehgal, “Boots”, de Tacita Dean e “Transporte aos quadradinhos”, de Armanda Duarte, do Museu de Serralves. Incidindo em materiais, práticas e conceitos dissonantes instaurados pelas obras, a pesquisa investiga a reconfiguração da relação entre obra, coleção e exposição, notadamente através da adesão à materialidade efêmera, dimensão performativa, especificidade do lugar/contexto e intervenção nas dinâmicas institucionais. A leitura desenvolvida aponta a contribuição destes trabalhos para desestabilizar a dimensão objetal, fisicamente delimitada e normativa do discurso do museu. Inserindo uma dimensão temporal à coleção, toma-se a memória como um trabalho crítico, a partir do pensamento de Georges Didi-Huberman, no que comporta de compromisso, negociação e transformação. Para além da afirmação de projetos políticos e da popularização midiática que o museu contemporâneo protagoniza, a dissertação reivindica a vocação crítica da produção artística interveniente na função conservadora e instituidora do museu, através da relação da coleção com a exposição (enquanto lugar de produção), com o arquivo e a memória, tendo o trabalho “Inserções em Circuitos Ideológicos – Projeto coca-cola”, de Cildo Meireles, artista representado em ambas as coleções estudadas, como ponto nodal desta reflexão. Finalmente, considerando que a pesquisa é ancorada na prática artística da autora, gênese das inquietações que impulsionam a investigação, integra a dissertação a série fotográfica “Lição de casa: museus”, antecedendo cada um dos capítulos e um conjunto de imagens e relatos artísticos relacionados ao tema investigado, apresentados como anexo, uma vez que não constituem o objeto de análise, embora dele participem.
