Alguns foram lidos na Biblioteca Nacional de Lisboa (hoje de Portugal), outros na biblioteca de Henrique Rosa, irmão do seu padrasto; e ainda outros na Biblioteca da Academia das Ciências de Lisboa. Introduction: The simultaneous presence of multiple chronic diseases in the same individual is recognized as an important public health problem. Patients with multimorbidity have greater healthcare needs, which represents a higher burden on health services. Although there is no consensual definition of this concept, multimorbidity is usually defined as the presence of two or more chronic diseases in the same patient. The existence of evidence regarding multimorbidity will lead to more efficient management and treatment of these patients.Material and Methods: In order to estimate the prevalence

In Brazil, social housing is standardized into two-bedroom units, even when the beneficiary families have been previously identified. In Portugal, despite standardization, housing projects have adopted the concept of evolutionary housing. These are flexible proposals with typological diversity, allowing for a variety of family arrangements. While numerous studies analyze the quality of Brazilian housing projects, few of these studies have directly influenced the reality of the projects implemented. Thus, this study seeks to identify clear and objective parameters that can be applied to the des

In Portugal, urban areas still have a high number of fatalities as a result of road crashes. In 2016, 78% of road crashes with victims, 62% with serious injuries and 54% with fatalities occurred in urban areas. Knowing where crashes occur and what circumstances contributed to these occurrences is the key to finding solutions that minimize injuries and deaths. At the end of 2016, as a safety measure, speed control cameras from SINCRO (Sistema Nacional de Controlo de Velocidade, the national speed control system), began to be installed in different parts of the country. Living in Portugal, this was the artist's first and largest exhibition with 85 pieces produced in various formats, materials and sizes, including cork, straw, paper, marble, clay, cloth, metal, ceramics and tiles. His versatility turns everything into art and activism, as human rights are a constant in his work, which seeks to reveal a particular way of questioning the world. Less than twenty years after Vasco da Gama joined the commercial perimeter of the Indian Ocean (1497–8), European artists had developed a view of the newly discovered lands, ranging from highly exotic and sometimes quite fanciful renderings based on medieval sources (the ‘Tapestries of the Indies’) to careful ethnographic illustrations based on written and visual sources (Hans Burgkmair's large woodcut frieze, People of Africa and India, of 1508).
