Peroneal nerve palsy is a disorder caused by interference with the peroneal nerve. Usually, a drop foot is seen in patients who have peroneal nerve palsy. Basically, the causes of peroneal nerve palsy are multifactorial. Trauma, compression of the nerve, systemic disease, ischemia, and idiopathy are factors that cause peroneal nerve palsy. Introduction: Nerve palsies are potential consequences of fractures that can result in temporary loss of muscular function. Nerve palsies have not been extensively described in the context of tibial tubercle fractures in the pediatric population. Common peroneal neuropathy is the most common compressive neuropathy in the lower extremities.
