Résumé :
The field of document design has gained considerable attention over the past couple of decades. New technology has drastically increased the design possibilities for writers, and researchers are gaining greater insight into the way that readers interact with the visual elements of their texts. This has led to an explosion in the availability of guidance on document design, but there are still areas where the research is incomplete. One of these areas concerns a common but important type of document: the proposal. There are numerous guides on proposal writing, but most of them are concerned with content and give little attention to document design. Since successful proposals are crucial to both the business and non-profit arenas, it is important that the documents are accessible and make a good impression on reviewers. Good document design can help. In this study I took the existing research on document design and developed a set of questions meant to address the different elements of document design. I tested a sampling of both grant proposals and contract proposals using those questions with a system of scoring based on Likert scaling. I combined the quantitative results with qualitative responses from interviews in order to gain insight regarding the overall effect of visual design elements in proposals. The results of this study showed that there are certain elements of document design (such as layout or contrast) that are important to proposals, but that non-design factors (such as cost or experience) usually outweigh the design for evaluation purpose.

Résumé :
This study surveyed grant writers at independent small colleges in Indiana and bordering states to discover their typical processes, personnel management, and whether these colleges encouraged effective grantsmanship. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics reported as percentages, frequencies, and means. Conclusions include the following:Over five-sixths of respondents had additional duties. The vast majority said grant writing time varies daily due to these other tasks. As a median, writers with dual or more duties devoted 33% of their time to grant writing.Over three-fourths were not required to attend introductory training. While most pursued training classes, superiors seemed to be nonchalant about their professional development. Self motivated study, grant writing associations, and mentors were major factors for growth in grant writing skills.Around 90% of presidents and 85% of advancement vice presidents met grantors. Just over half of other superiors and a plurality of other senior advancement personnel cultivated grantors.Over three-fourths helped faculty with proposals. This informal quality control involved editing, writing, and teaching faculty how to write proposals. Just over half the colleges used formal quality control. About two-thirds have internal permission systems to prevent embarrassments, so one-third cannot prevent disasters or track proposal success, failure, or origin. Colleges seemed complacent about liability since less than half required approval from an Institutional Review Board for proposals with human subjects.About half felt their colleges succeeded with grants. Actual results were decidedly mixed. Deciding factors were income, faculty engagement, and external and internal relationships. Many colleges seemed to lack easily accessible grant records. Having dual or more duties could hinder but did not prevent success.Over two-thirds contacted donors. About half who cultivated increased success rates or gained profitable insights. Most of the others tacitly implied increased success. The top three overall grant winners all cultivated. Respondents saw cultivating as good, but viewed skillful writing as crucial.Other attributes such as religious affiliation, enrollment, minority percentages, etc. seemed not to affect success. Results cannot be completely generalized, but descriptive data and inferred conclusions should assist all small-college grant writers.

Résumé :

This business plan proposes a mobile app, MyMark, that will form in partnership with grocery stores nationwide to promote healthy behaviors in the form of nutritional consumption. The app will take on its initial pilot testing at a Ralphs grocery store located in San Diego, California. It will cater to grocery store shoppers by synthesizing custom grocery lists based on the app user’s personally input health information. The app is intended to serve as a convenient replacement to shopping in the moment and aimlessly walking up and down the grocery store aisles. It is also a conventional solution to bringing a nutritious grocery list to the store. This business proposal delivers the market analysis, feasibility analysis, legal and regulatory considerations, and financial overview that will allow MyMark to successfully pilot and nationally expand.

Résumé :

As healthcare consulting continues to grow, the improvement in healthcare companies’ finances, information technology, marketing, and management continues to increase as well. Despite this increase, one form of healthcare consulting is lacking. This is where HC3 (Healthcare Corporate Culture Consulting) steps in. HC3 will act as a consulting firm that will focus on the improvement of a healthcare company’s culture and operations. It will work with different types of healthcare companies to improve their strategy, marketing, culture, training, and talent development. The following business proposal aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of how HC3 or Healthcare Corporate Culture Consulting aspires to change the way healthcare is operated today. The business proposal has been organized in four chapters: market analysis, feasibility analysis, legal and regulatory analysis, and financial analysis, so as to detail exactly how these changes will be carried out.

Résumé :

This project served to locate a potential funding source and write a grant to secure funding for a program that provides mental health and psychological treatments, resources and information, and ultimately empowers Latina domestic workers who have survived trauma within and outside their scope of work. The program will be implemented by an MSW with Promotora community leadership. The program consists of a trauma focused intervention group with culturally sensitive and empirically supported curriculum as well as crisis mobilization services for female Latina domestic workers in the city of Los Angeles. If funded, this program will enable social workers and others to be able to advocate successfully and be informed about Latina domestic workers who face specific challenges in their work, including physical and mental health concerns, safety issues, a lack of labor protections, and overall health. Submitting this proposal for funding was not required to successfully complete this project.

Résumé :
Thesis (MBA)--Stellenbosch University, 2004.
ENGLISH ABSTRACT: The introduction of Affirmative Action Programmes in South Africa has left managerial development at the centre of management focus with the growing realisation that there is no quick fix. It is argued that, in order to make a substantial contribution to the managerial development process, management should not only seek to obtain the goals of the organisation, but first to obtain the goals of the individual within the organisation after which the first will follow. Against this background mentoring has been used successfully to develop high potential managers to build a diverse organisation and to foster the management of change. The study aimed to highlight not merely the many benefits to be gained from successfully implemented mentoring programmes, but also the many complexities inherent to the process. In the final analyses, mentoring programmes can only add value if the process and underlying critical success factors are understood. It is hoped that this research will result in more mentoring programmes being implemented across a broader spectrum of employees in order to create a sustainable and competitive advantage through the retention of knowledge and increased competencies of employees. The cost of such programmes is relatively low compared to their value if implemented correctly and may well hold the key to unlocking a wealth of talent.

Karamali, Eleni. « The impossible writing of business ethics ». Thesis, University of Leicester, 2012. http://hdl.handle.net/2381/11060.

Texte intégral
Résumé :
This thesis offers a deconstructive reading of Business Ethics. Following Jacques Derrida, it shows how a deconstructive reading is not a reading which brings a set of protocols to an object or judgments to a field - we are not here concerned with offering an external criticism of Business Ethics, as if we were privy to its incontestable truth from the very outset. Instead, our reading of Business Ethics is a reading which strives to come to terms with Business Ethics’ own limits by considering how the literature on Business Ethics limits itself. We pursue this reading of Business Ethics as a self-limiting writing along two principal registers - hospitality and translation – in both cases demonstrating how Business Ethics constitutes its outside as an outside which it simultaneously treats as an inside, and thereby annihilates. It is in this sense that we read Business Ethics as an ‘impossible writing’, impossible precisely because the very self-presence it seeks to grant to itself - the would-be language of ethical business - is itself foreclosed within the very gesture of seeking an encounter with a language it takes as its own. The first such gesture we consider is the manner in which Business Ethics invites the work of Emmanuel Levinas, albeit on certain conditions which serve only to make a welcoming of Levinasian ethics impossible. The second such gesture we consider is the manner in which Business Ethics translates itself into and out of the languages of Business and Ethics respectively, only to make its own language impossible. These two instances of impossibility, rather than serving to fatally limit the field, must rather be read as fundamentally constitutive of it. I conclude by arguing for an understanding of Business Ethics writing as both necessary and impossible.

Thesis: S.M. in Comparative Media Studies, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Department of Humanities, 2014.

As American professional journalism with its established rules and values transitions to the little-regulated, ever-evolving world of digital news, few of its practitioners, contributors and consumers are giving thought to the moral and intellectual implications that this transition entails. While technologists and innovators have embraced this passage into a hybrid model of skilled and citizen-generated news production, even spearheading its new practices at times, this transition is taking place in a moral and regulatory void: without a strong legislative foundation for cyberspace and revised ethical rules for the journalism profession online, media professionals and independent news producers lack guidance and tools to respond appropriately to new ethical issues not covered by current laws and ethical codes. Some of the key questions facing the profession are: should online journalism and all new forms of news media production be regulated, and if so, to what extent and by whom? What constitutes ethical collaboration? How does current regulation operate? Should or could it be extended to the digital domain? In this thesis I argue that professional and amateur news publishing on the Internet and other digital formats have created new social issues, ethical dilemmas and unanticipated situations for journalists, which are specific to digital media and unaddressed by current laws, standards, and codes of ethics. Following an analysis of these issues and the deficiencies of current ethics codes, using a real-life case study and comments from working journalists on their new professional needs, I then propose my vision for online news media production, arguing for an open-source, participatory model supported by a solid, individual ethical foundation and a revised relationship with sources. The thesis culminates with my proposed code of ethics for collaborative journalism in the digital age, the Open Park Code of Ethics and the Global Media Ethics Forum. Initially conceived as a news-reporting and educational tool for the Open Park project of The MIT Center for Future Civic Media, the OP Code reflects the principles and guidelines of my open-source model and is readily usable and adaptable to the needs of varied news media communities and individual producers.

Résumé :
This study explores the application of a formative assessment approach known as Dynamic Assessment (DA), as developed within the Vygotskian sociocultural theory of learning. DA blends instruction with assessment by targeting and further developing students' Zone of Proximal Development (ZPO). The study investigates whether, and if so. how DA enhances students' academic writing and conceptual development in business studies over time. DA and Hallidayan Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL) informed the methodological design of this study. which employed a mixed methods approach in order to track learners' ZPDs regarding academic writing development. The use of SFL to provide linguistic evidence for student writing development (ZPD) is new in DA and thus an innovative feature of this study. The data consists of six undergraduate business studies students' three to four drafts of three assessments, which were analysed for textual and ideational meanings, as well as associated text-based interaction (mediation), complemented by student interviews and subject tutors' written comments. Whilst the mediation was analysed using categories derived from Poehner (2005). thematic analysis was used to examine the interviews and tutor comments. The findings suggest that DA, combined with SFL. provides insights into the learners' maturing writing abilities. which the tutor can nurture further to help the learners internalise them. This study also shows that DA students made more gains than their non-DA counterparts regarding their ability to write a case study analysis genre over time. Additionally, the findings suggest that students can transfer their academic writing and conceptual knowledge from one assessment task to another, albeit at a varying level. The study, though small in scale, thus, supports the view that targeted tutor support potentially enhances students' academic writing development. Implications arc drawn concerning formative writing assessment research and practice in higher education.

Li, Tsz Wan. « A Framework Proposal For Choosing A New Business Implementation Model In Henkel ». Master's thesis, Vysoká škola ekonomická v Praze, 2015. http://www.nusl.cz/ntk/nusl-194126.

Texte intégral
Résumé :
Henkel's New Business team is a corporate venturing unit that explores corporate entrepreneurial activities on behalf of Henkel Adhesives Technologies. The new business ideas are implemented through one of these models: incubator, venturing or innovation ecosystem. In current practice, there is no systematic framework in place to choose the implementation model. The goal of the thesis is to propose a framework for choosing the most appropriate model for implementation of a new business idea in Henkel. The thesis approaches the topic on practical and theoretical grounds. The first part outlines the related literature and theoretical focus. The literature covers definitions and theories of incubator, corporate venturing, corporate venture capital, innovation ecosystem and investment decision-making process. The practical approach relates to the company case studies of Philips, 3M and BASF. In this thesis, each model is analyzed based on a broad literature review, case studies and personal interviews with experts. The second part is the main discussion and analysis of the topic assembling with practical examples in Henkel. It comes to a recommendation that Henkel should prioritize and choose the most appropriate model for the new business proposal after the "concept scoping" stage, and before detailed investigation. It also proposes a scorecard framework that entails 14 key criteria for choosing the mode: degree of market competition, potential disruptiveness, technological risk, time to market, strategic alignment, degree of customization, dependency of related industries, technological newness of related industries, idea source, protectability of intellectual property, internal expertise, technological competence, commercial competence and parenting advantages. Furthermore, a new business developing strategy matrix is constructed based on two dimensions: strategic importance and operational relatedness. It is to further check the accuracy and validity of the results from the scorecard framework. Finally, it is suggested that future research can be done to improve the framework by adding weightings and scale of each criteria within the framework.

Texte intégral
Résumé :
Whereas most research on writing in the workplace examines writing from writers' perspectives, this study focuses on readers' responses to writing. The central issue in this study is the relationship between readers' responses to writing and the goals and values of an organization. The particular focus of the study is managers' responses while reading their subordinates' reports.
Conducted over two years in a large company that develops and markets health care products, this study used a variety of qualitative methods. Observations, interviews, and the critical incident method revealed that organizational expectations for writing were closely tied to the organization's mission and its beliefs about how that mission should be accomplished. Respond-aloud protocols from two divisions of the company, Marketing and Management Information Systems, demonstrated that managers' responses while reading their subordinates' reports strongly reflected their beliefs about the particular mandates of their divisions. Furthermore, these protocols also revealed how the divisional cultures reflected the larger framework of the organization.
These findings suggest that writers must learn both the organizational and divisional goals and values in order to write reports that meet readers' expectations. Moreover, this study illustrates the importance of readers' responses to the development of theories about writing in the workplace.

Résumé :
Purpose – increasing the understanding of what distinguish a decentralized from a centralized blockchain business network and identify its value creating mechanisms. To fulfill this research purpose, three research questions have been derived, RQ1: What distinguishes a decentralized from a centralized blockchain business network?, RQ2: How are the blockchain business network values affected by a decentralized vs centralized network model? and RQ3: Which value creating mechanisms exists within decentralized blockchain networks? Method – This study was conducted as an abductive explorative study with interviews of actors that works with their own blockchain or is an expert in the subject, respondents from 9 different industries were participating. In total 25 interviews were held in two phases and they were together with a workshop analyzed through a thematic analysis. Findings – The findings from the study resulted in a framework including four separate areas, namely, Governance models, Blockchain values, Business network values and Value creating mechanisms. There were three governance modes, Lead organization, Network administrative organization and Participant owned organization. Furthermore, this study has resulted in 12 blockchain values, 11 network values and 9 value creating mechanisms. Theoretical and practical implications – This study gives an answer to the question what distinguish the decentralized and centralized nature of a blockchain business network, stating that the most value critical factor is the choice of network governance model. Furthermore, additional examples of blockchain and network values have been presented and those values have been analyzed through three different governance models. Also, the 9 value creating mechanisms have been described and analyzed from a decentralized blockchain network perspective. The practical implications give managers insight of which value creating mechanisms that exists for a decentralized blockchain business network, an understanding that could help them decide on if blockchain fits their business needs or not. Lastly, by providing an overview of which the strengths and weaknesses are of different governance models for a blockchain business network, managers could better align their network governance. Limitations and future research – Due to the explorative nature of this study these frameworks and relationships are built from our research and will need future validation from similar study to test its applicability in a larger extent. Hence, future studies with these frameworks and matrixes as reference point would be interesting.

ENGLISH ABSTRACT: South Africa is on the verge of major changes in the private medical sector. The government’s planned National Health Insurance has far reaching implications for all role players in the industry, as well as for the general public. This paper looks at the changes that have been made since the ANC government came to power in 1994 and then continues to look at possible models for the new National Health Insurance plan. A proposal on practicing cost-effective cardiology within this new system is made. The data of a pilot project between a private service provider and a managed healthcare company is analysed as a basis of this discussion.

This research focuses on improving distributed, collaborative writing (CW) over the Internet through new CW technologies, process improvements, proximity choices, and synchronicity choices. The research methodology that is followed iteratively builds theory using design and development of CW tools, surveys, requirements analysis, laboratory and field experiments. The primary empirical work consists of two laboratory experiments and two fields experiments. The two laboratory experiments compare a newly built CW tool, Collaboratus to Microsoft Word(TM). The first experiment found 3-member CW groups using Collaboratus produce higher document lengths with higher quality, but less satisfaction than similar Word(TM) groups. The second experiment found 3-member distributed, synchronous CW groups using Collaboratus with NetMeeting(TM), working over 5 weeks, produce higher document lengths and quality, and have more effective coordination, communication, and socialization than similar Word(TM) groups. The two field experiments further validate that certain processes should be followed for most effective use of Collaboratus. The first experiment compares 3-member groups working in mixed work modes (part F2F part distributed, asynchronous) to similar groups conducting all work asynchronously. The only differences is that all-asynchronous groups spend less time brainstorming and more time converging on brainstormed output. The lack of process gains for the mixed-mode groups can be attributed to the difficulty of scheduling F2F meetings---an insight gained by performing this research in a field setting. The second experiment compares non-facilitated, 3-member groups using three different levels of scripted process structure to guide their distributed, asynchronous CW. Highest structure groups have the highest levels of performance (in terms of quality, productivity, satisfaction, communication, and relationships), while lowest structure groups have the lowest levels of performance. It is believed the process differences can be directly attributed to the nature of the academic writing task and the fact the groups were nearly formed, non-cohesive groups. These findings point to the importance of properly matching technology, task, tool, proximity, synchronicity, and people choices in distributed CW to maximize the outcomes. This also provides a useful foundation for agent-based CW processes to support self-sustaining, distributed CW teams who work without professional facilitation.

Hearn, Anthony Michael. « Management information systems : a proposal for an integrated system for a Ferroalloy production facility ». Thesis, Stellenbosch : University of Stellenbosch, 1996. http://hdl.handle.net/10019.1/5681.

Résumé :
Thesis (MBA (Business Management))--University of Stellenbosch, 1996.
ENGLISH ABSTRACT: The ferroalloy industry is, in contrast to the operationally complicated chemical industry, very reliant on the wealth of experience that has been built up by the operating personnel over a long period of time. The industry has not been at the forefront of technical development and has, in many respects, lagged behind in technological development. Information technology is one such area that has not received its fair share of attention. This study resulted from the requirement that the control systems of the submerged arc furnaces at the Samancor Meyerton Works be integrated in such a way that the plant subsystem controllers could operate off a single database. This would ensure that the reliance of the operation on the experience of personnel could be reduced by the judicious application of data from the process. The integration was expanded to include the control of the electricity generation plant that will utilize the waste gasses from the submerged arc furnaces to generate the electricity. The boundaries of the study were subsequently expanded to include a proposal for the integration of the control systems into a management information system for the Meyerton Works. The study gives consideration to the theory underlying management information systems after the strategic issues of the Manganese Division of Samancor are discussed. The theoretical aspects of management information systems together with the strategic issues of the Manganese Division are brought together to form the practical proposal of the integrated control and management information system. The case studies considered are based on two incidents that occurred on one of the submerged arc furnaces where the resulting financial losses were substantial. An integrated control system would have reduced the financial losses significantly. Finally, the recommendations of the study are firstly, that the management information system as proposed be expanded to include the furnaces that were not originally envisaged to have their control systems integrated, secondly that the maintenance management function be integrated with the control systems and management information system, and finally that the production planning system be included in the management information system so as to give substance to the control and optimization of the flow of manganese units from the mines to the customer. This will entrench the position of Samancor as a world class supplier of manganese units.

ENGLISH ABSTRACT: The organisations of the 21st century are confronted with continuous changes. It is necessary that organisations respond to these changes to improve the level of their performance. Although the number of change initiatives within organisations is the norm of the day, there are very few successes. One reason for this, the author maintains, is the tendency to usually overemphasise hard elements, and not attend adequately to the soft elements, although the latter often contribute to the success of the organisation. These soft elements are: staff, skills, style of leadership, and shared values. The aim of the study is to enhance organisational performance of the proposal engineering pillar (PEP) of Sizophumelela organisation. This department was chosen because most of the corrective actions requests (CAR) due to non performance at Sizophumelela are from PEP. The main objective of this study is to identify the areas of concern in PEP, to develop an understanding of organisational change and to propose interventions to address and solve problem areas and improve performance. The McKinsey 7S Model was used to analyse the effectiveness of this department at Sizophumelela, an electrical transformer manufacturer and refurbishment business. After the identification of problem areas, interventions are proposed to address these issues. In the literature review an overview of some organisational change models is provided and the limitations of these models are also indicated. Out of these models, the business process re-engineering (BPR) model was viewed as important for this study; hence some aspects of that model form part of proposed interventions to address the identified issues. The McKinsey 7S Model is preferred for the performance analysis of the PEP with its focus on: Strategy, structure, systems, staff, and style of leadership, skills, and shared values. The 7S model is viewed by the author as the model that has the greatest benefit, because both hard and soft elements are focused on. A comprehensive set of material available within the company was used and structured interviews were conducted with all members of the PEP team. With the help of this methodology the strengths and weaknesses were established and some recommendations were made.

This thesis discusses the idea of setting up a start-up business in North America (US or Canada) that complies to Islamic financial guidelines, with a view to attract funding from Muslim people around the world. These funds would be the nucleus of a conglomerate of companies investing in a diversity of projects around the globe, not the least of which would relate to infrastructure, educational and economic development of the mother countries from where these funds originate. The main premise of this proposal is that large sums of untapped financial resources exist in the Islamic world, that are not utilized, or under-utilized, on the basis of Islamic prohibition of several financial transactions prevalent in the global market, such as interest-earning debt. The result is that large sums of money are either kept in non-interest-earning bank accounts or not deposited in banks at all, by Muslim people. This thesis explores the challenges to be overcome in attempting to establish a start-up in North America that complies with Islamic jurisprudence, along with some recommendations for directing the investments of these funds.

Résumé :
Thesis (MBA (Business Management))--University of Stellenbosch, 2007.
ENGLISH ABSTRACT: According to Wheatley (1999:157) in the history of human thought, a new way of understanding often appears simultaneously in widely separated places and in different disciplines, these concepts are called our zeitgeist - a way of thinking that characterizes a generation or time period. Wheatley (1999:158) believes that once again we are living in a time when the same concepts are appearing in many places and disciplines. The interest in undertaking this research stems from two current trends. Firstly, that the methodology of project management is increasingly sought by organizations facing an ever changing environment. Secondly, organizations that adopt project management apparently lack the necessary foresight and tools to optimize its human capital in that field. Stayner (1998:5) quoted Wheatley saying: "The problem is, we see something that works, like project-based work, and we want to replicate it. But we don't understand why it works. We think because it's in projects; but really, it works because people are engaged in new, exciting, creative work within their organization on a team that shares values and trust." The writer believes that in today's knowledge economy it is more evident than ever that in order to survive an organization needs to get the people processes right. The Newtonian age called for optimization through machines. The information age calls for a new, systematic approach for the optimization of knowledge workers. Organizations look hopefully to nature to teach us how to do what living systems accomplish with such skill - learn, adapt and change. Organization's interest prompted by the relentless need for organizations to grow and re-from at intervals so short that change has become a continuous demand. Hopefully organizations are coming to the realization that the science of the seventeenth century cannot explain what they are challenged with in the twenty-first century. This study is interested in investigating organizations holistically and its underlying philosophy is to develop a systematic approach to the performance management of project managers based on the principles of the new sciences integrated with current performance management practices in use.

The thesis starts with the analysis of the contemporary art market and the art gallery sector, investigating their complexities, pyramidal structures, and inner hierarchies. Moreover, the weaknesses that characterize small and middle-sized galleries and their difficulties in staying afloat are highlighted. As underlined by several authors, these problems are primarily linked with the outdated business model implemented by these galleries that consequently need to completely renovate their way of working. The literature also suggests some proposals to guide them on this path. Considering contemporary art galleries' final acceptance and implementation of e-commerce in the last two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the thesis aims to understand all the possible advantages that the correct use of online sales and digital strategies can bring to small and middle-sized galleries within the process of business model renovation illustrated by scholars. Furthermore, the issues these galleries must face to be successful online are explained, and some possible solutions are proposed. In the end, the ultimate goal of the thesis is to propose a new hybrid business model visualized through a business model canvas and based on an integration of offline and online strategies, in light of the positive role that e-commerce can play in reaching economic sustainability.

Résumé :
Thesis (MDF)--Stellenbosch University, 2011.
The purpose of the research report is to propose a model for an integrated rural entrepreneurial development agency in the Western Cape. In September 2010, it was reported that the economic development landscape in the Western Cape could expect significant changes in the coming months. Urban economic development has received a lot of attention in the past and probably will in the future as urban areas are densely populated with high incidences of poverty and unemployment. Rural areas on the other hand has not received the deserved attention and the work that are done somehow seem not to have the desired impact. The proposed model was developed from models available in literature and practical experience gained at Casidra (Pty) Ltd. Casidra is currently the implementing agent for the Western Cape Provincial Government with a focus on rural development. From the literature study, it is clear that entrepreneurial development in rural areas have some basic requirements such as community buy in into the process, a catalyst to start the process, skills and entrepreneurial training, access to markets and the establishment of a network of role players to drive the process of development. The proposed model explores possible opportunities and relationship that could assist in the process of rural entrepreneurial development. The proposed model could be standalone agency and function as such or it could be part of the proposed Economic Development Agency in the Western Cape driving rural development in the Province.
