ABSTRACT Association patterns between archaea and rumen protozoa were evaluated by analyzing archaeal 16S rRNA gene clone libraries from ovine rumen inoculated with different protozoa. The treatment of this wastewater is efficiently managed using activated sludge, which comprises a diverse community of protozoa, infusoria, lower crustaceans, algae, and microorganisms. This report summarizes a project to estimate white-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus) density in two Western Pennsylvania National Parks using a motion-sensitive camera survey protocol.
