The satirical magazines of the 1860s had a significant impact on the periodical press system. This paper analyzes the use of the preposition in that in Ukrainian and Russian can assume the form v or na. In the 20th century the use of both prepositions has assumed political meanings which has diversified the semantics of the expressions na Ukraine and v Ukraine (in Ukraine) and correlates. Résumé :

Dmitrii Vladimirovich Filosofov (1872–1940) was a Russian intellectual, publicist, public figure, who emigrated and lived in the Polish Republic since 1920. His literary and journalistic heritage of this period is significant, it continues to attract the attention of philologists, cultural scientists, historians. Oleg Korostelev published a collection of his pre-emigration works in Russian (2010); a fragmentary publication of the epistolary heritage of the publicist continues. In 2015, P. Mitzner published two volumes of the publicist's works translated into Polish. However, a significant part of Filosofov’s works in 1920–1928s was not included in the publication: the articles on the protection of the legal status of Russian refugees, emigrants, interned anti-Soviet formations; publications-investigations of the Operput-Upelinets case, the Russian Academic group case, and many others. Filosofov was active in his social life. In Russian and Polish archives there is a significant amount of unpublished heritage of Filosofov: letters, certificates, appeals to various Polish authorities, reports on visits to internment camps, etc. The problem of their scientific publication continues to be relevant.

The article shows that the specificity of artistic speech in comparison with journalistic speech is due to the structure of speech. The main feature of the structure of artistic speech is the discrepancy between the producer of speech (the author) and its subject. The presence of a narrator is a prerequisite for artistic speech. The article analyzes the nature of the speech representation of the narrator in publicistic and artistic speech.

The article deals with the philosophical understanding of the social phenomenon of the origin of the state, presented in the works of the pre-revolutionary Russian thinker and conservative publicist K Leontiev. Arguments both confirming and refuting the truth of the proposed concept are studied. It is proved that the Leontiev paradigm is an original interpretation of the organic theory of the origin of the state, which is supported by examples from the natural world and world history.
