As a countermeasure against M8–9 class Nankai Trough earthquakes, the Japan Meteorological Agency started a service to release “Nankai Trough Earthquake Extra Information (Megathrust Earthquake Alert).” This alert is released after an M8.0 or higher earthquake occurs and the possibility of a subsequent earthquake is evaluated to be higher than usual. This is an innovative attempt at disaster mitigation in Japan as it encourages residents in the predefined area to pre-evacuate for one week when tsunami risk is higher. Human–machine collaboration techniques promote safer working processes by reducing the interaction between humans and machines. A common feature of news reports is the reference to events other than the one which is central to the discourse. Previous research has suggested Gricean explanations for this; more generally, the phenomenon has been referred to simply as "journalistic style". Whatever the underlying reasons, recent investigations into information extraction have emphasised the need for a better understanding of the mechanisms that can be used to recognise and distinguish between multiple events in discourse. Existing information extraction systems approach the problem of event recognition in a number of ways.

Résumé :
This paper analyzes the city of Siracusa, Italy, and in particular the Historic Center of Ortigia. Siracusa and the rocky Necropolis of Pantalica (in the Cassaro, Ferla, and Sortino areas) were inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List in 2005, an event that may be considered the official recognition of the beauty and uniqueness of their historical, artistic, architectonic, and natural patrimony.

Résumé :
Objectives. High-reliability organizations (HROs) operate in complex, high-hazard domains for extended periods without serious accidents or catastrophic failures. Interventions are designed to change thinking about patient safety and system performance through distinct HRO principles. The purpose of this review was to determine the effectiveness of implementing HRO principles on patient safety outcomes. Methods. We followed rapid review processes of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality Evidence-based Practice Center Program. We searched PubMed and the Cochrane Library from January 20

Résumé :
Review question / Objective: What is, and how is it expressed, the interaction between the phenomenon of ageism and society's attitude and coping with a disaster situation, such as the Cuvid-19 pandemic in the professional literature? Condition being studied: The covid-19 pandemic is a type of disaster situation, as the impact of pandemics is similar to the impact of other disasters in several respects: a wide range of impact affecting society as a whole, and an increase in uncertainty and long range of impacts. At the same time, pandemics stand out as being a pervasive, unavoidable and invisi
