Résumé :
This article discusses the effect of Inflation, BI-7 Day Reverse Repo Rate, and Earnings Per Share on stock prices. The dependent variable in this study is the Stock Price. Meanwhile, the independent variables in this study are Inflation, BI-7 Day Reverse Repo Rate, and Earnings Per Share.
 The sampling technique was carried out using the purposive sampling method, the total sample in this study amounted to 16 quarters of financial statements at PT. Bank Syariah Indonesia, Inflation Report and , BI-7 Day Reverse Repo Rate at Bank Indonesia and Yahoo Finance for the share price for the 2019-2022 period. Data processing is carried out by multiple linear regression analysis with prerequisite tests first.
 This article finds that partially Inflation and , BI-7 Day Reverse Repo Rate have a negatif direction but have no significant effect on the Stock Price. Meanwhile, Earnings Per Share has a positive and significant direction towards the Stock Price. Meanwhile, inflation, BI-7 Day Reverse Repo Rate, and Earnings Per Share have a simultaneous influence on stock prices.

Résumé :
This study aims to determine that syariah monetary instruments and conventional monetary instruments both have an effect on the Gross Domestic Product in Indonesia. This research uses quantitative approach with Vector Auto Regression (VAR) method. This research be held during January 2012 until December 2016 in Indonesia. There are 5 variables in this research, they are “Sertifikat Bank Indonesia” (SBI) and Reverse Repo “Surat Utang Negara” (SUN) to represent conventional monetary instrument, and the representative of syariah monetary instrument are “Surat Bank Indonesia Syariah” (SBIS) and Reverse Repo “Surat Berharga Syariah Negara” (SBSN) and the last variable is Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The results of this research indicate that only SBI that has a significant positive effect on GDP. While Reverse Repo SUN, SBIS and Reverse Repo SBSN have no significant effect on GDP.

This study aims to determine the effect of inflation and the BI 7-day reverse repo rate on MSME financing with Third Party Funds as an intervening variable. Data using secondary data were taken from each bank's official websites, Bank Indonesia (BI) and the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). The data taken by researchers is from 2015–2020. The method used in the research uses path analysis. The results of this study indicate that inflation and the BI 7-day reverse repo rate do not affect MSME financing. Meanwhile, Third Party Funds have a positive impact on MSME financing. Inflation and the BI 7-day reverse repo rate do not affect Third Party Funds. In addition, third-party funds cannot mediate the effect of inflation or the BI 7-day reverse repo rate on MSME financing.

Changes in the reference interest rate of Bank Indonesia from the BI Rate to the BI 7-Day Reverse Repo Rate cause differences in the tenor of depositing funds in Bank Indonesia Certificates, percentages, and interest income earned, which will cause differences in bank financial performance, particularly in bank profitability and capital. Bank profitability is measured using ROA, ROE, NIM, and bank capital is measured using CAR. The purpose of this study is to analyze the differences in banking profitability and capital before and after the BI 7-Day Reverse Repo Rate so as to determine the effect of the BI 7-Day Reverse Repo Rate on banking profitability and capital in Indonesia. The sample in this study is 4 bank through purposive sampling at state-owned commercial banks that were registered on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and had published quarterly financial reports at the Financial Services Authority in the period 2012-2020. This study uses non-participant observation methods and the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results show that there are significant differences in banking profitability and capital in Indonesia before and after the BI 7-Day Reverse Repo Rate, thereby proving that the BI 7-Day Reverse Repo Rate has a significant effect on banking profitability and capital in Indonesia.

Résumé :
This study aims to analyze the effect of inflation and BI 7-Day (Reverse) Repo Rate on Retrun On Assets(ROA). The data obtained were then entered into the Statistical Package Social Sciences (SPSS) program to carry out advanced statistical analysis. Data obtained from the financial statements of 10 banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2015 to 2019. The analysis techniques used are classical assumption tests, hypothesis testing, and others. The results obtained from the simultaneous hypothesis test (f test) show that inflation and the BI 7-Day (Reverse) Repo Rate simultaneously have an effect on Retrun On Assets(ROA). The results of the partial test (t test) show that inflation data has a significant negative effect on Retrun On Assets(ROA) and BI 7-Day (Reverse) Repo Rate data has a significant positive effect on Retrun On Assets(ROA). The result of the coefficient of determination with adjusted R2 shows that the predictive ability of this research data is 98.8%, meaning that the independent variables, namely Inflation and BI 7-Day (Reverse) Repo Rate affect the dependent variable, namely Retrun On Assets(ROA). amounting to 98.8 %

This research aims to determine how the BI 7-Day Reverse Repo Rate and FED Rate variables influence ISSI movements in the short and long term. This research uses a quantitative approach, namely the Vector Error Correction Model. The data used in this research is secondary data. In the short term, the BI 7-Day Reverse Repo Rate does not affect ISSI, while the FED Rate has a negative effect on ISSI. In the long term, the BI 7-Day Reverse Repo Rate has a positive effect, while the FED Rate has a negative effect on ISSI.

Résumé :
This study attempts to analyze the effect of repos and reverse repo under open market operations on interbank rates over the time span of 19 years from August 2002 to August 2021. Interbank transaction amount and Treasury bill rate are used as independent variables. Whereas, net liquidity, credit to core capital plus deposit (CCD) ratio, and exchange rate are used as the control variables. The study is based on time series data collected from the official website of Nepal Rastra Bank. Moreover, statistical tools such as correlation and time series regression have been applied to analyze the data. The empirical results indicated that repurchase agreement, liquidity, and exchange rate have a negative effect on the interbank rate whereas reverse repo agreement (R repo) and Treasury bill rate have a positive effect interbank rate. In addition, the study found that there is no significant impact of CCD on the interbank rate. In a nutshell, it can be concluded that repo and reverse repo, liquidity, treasury bill, and exchange rate are the important determinants of the weighted average interbank rate (WAIR).

The purposes of this study are (1) to analyze the effect of the BI rate on inflation (2) to analyze the effect of the BI 7 day reverse repo rate on inflation (3) to analyze the different effects of the BI rate and the BI 7 day reverse repo rate on inflation. The method used in this study uses secondary data sourced from Bank Indonesia and the Central Bureau of Statistics of the Indonesian financial economy. The analysis of this study with vector autoregressive (VAR) using the Eviews 10 software program, results of the study analyzed that the difference in the influence of the central bank's interest rate policy on inflation in Indonesia, that the BI rate of interest on inflation had a positive and significant effect with a benchmark of 5% or 0.005%, the analysis on the BI 7 day reverse repo rate is not significant at the benchmark of 5% or 0.005% but has a positive effect in reducing inflation in Indonesia which reflects price stability as the final target of monetary policy. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of Working Capital Turnover, Inflation and BI-7 Day Reverse Repo Rate on Stock Prices. The author draws the hypothesis that Exchange Working Capital Turnover, Inflation and the BI-7 Day Reverse Repo Rate have a positive and significant effect on stock prices.The research methodology used is descriptive analysis method and statistical analysis method. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression analysis. The data used is secondary data. Hypothesis testing was carried out using the F test and t test, with a significance level (α) of 5%. Data analysis used statistical data processing software, namely SPSS version 25 for Windows.This research was conducted during the 2017-2021 period. The results of the F test show that the Exchange Working Capital Turnover, Inflation and the BI-7 Day Reverse Repo Rate have a positive and significant effect on stock prices. The results of the t test (individually) show that the Working Capital Turnover variable has a positive and significant effect on stock prices. The results of the coefficient of determination in this study amounted to 0.250. This means that the Stock Price Index is influenced by the Exchange Working Capital Turnover, Inflation and the BI-7 Day Reverse Repo Rate.

Pasca COVID-19 ekonomi Indonesia mengalami pemulihan terutama pada pasar modal. Ketidakpastian ekonomi mendorong masyarakat melakukan pengelolaan keuangan berupa investasi saham. Instrumen saham terdapat sektor consumer cyclicals yang berbanding lurus dengan kondisi ekonomi dan siklus bisnis sehingga dapat mempengaruhi pergerakan harga saham. Adanya ketidakpastian pada harga saham mendorong investor membutuhkan informasi sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh inflasi, BI-7 Day (Reverse) Repo Rate, kurs USD/IDR dan ekspor terhadap harga saham perusahaan sektor consumer cyclicals di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 137 perusahaan. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sehingga memperoleh 20 perusahaan. Data sekunder dianalisis menggunakan uji asumsi klasik dan teknik analisis regresi linier berganda dengan didukung software SPSS 26. Hasil uji simultan menyatakan bahwa inflasi, BI-7 Day (Reverse) Repo Rate, kurs USD/IDR dan ekspor berpengaruh signifikan terhadap harga saham sektor consumer cyclicals. Hasil uji parsial menunjukkan bahwa inflasi, BI-7 Day (Reverse) Repo Rate dan ekspor berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap harga saham sedangkan kurs USD/IDR berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap harga saham. Variabel inflasi, BI-7 Day (Reverse) Repo Rate, kurs USD/IDR dan ekspor berpengaruh sebesar 80,9% terhadap harga saham perusahaan sektor consumer cyclicals, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 19,1% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.

Zweck - In dieser Bachelorarbeit werden die öffentlich nicht zugänglichen Technologieparameter von Passagierflugzeugen näherungsweise bestimmt. Das sind maximaler Auftriebsbeiwert bei Start und Landung, maximale Gleitzahl und spezifischer Kraftstoffverbrauch im Reiseflug. Folgende Flugzeuge werden paarweise untersucht und verglichen: A340-300 und IL-96-300, Boeing 727-200 Advanced und TU-154M, Fokker 100 und MD-82, A319-100 und An-72. --- Methodik - Die Berechnung erfolgt mit dem Excel-basierten Werkzeug "Passenger Jet Reverse Engineering" (PJRE). Grundlage der Berechnung ist die aus dem Flugzeugentwurf bekannte Dimensionierung mit dem Entwurfsdiagramm. Für die ausgewählten Passagierflugzeuge werden die erforderlichen Eingangsparameter recherchiert. Die zunächst unbekannten Technologieparameter werden dann mit PRJE sowohl ermittelt als auch verifiziert. --- Ergebnisse - Die Ergebnisse aus dem Reverse Engineering stimmen recht gut überein mit den Werten aus der Verifikation. Lediglich die Werte der maximalen Gleitzahl im Reiseflug sind berechnet aus der Verifikation oft deutlich höher als berechnet aus dem Reverse Engineering. Der spezifische Kraftstoffverbrauch im Reiseflug hat sich über die Jahrzehnte der Flugzeugentwicklung stark verringert. --- Bedeutung für die Praxis - Durch die Konkurrenzsituation der Flugzeughersteller können viele Flugzeugparameter nicht öffentlich zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Die Anwendung von PJRE zeigt, wie diese Parameter trotzdem näherungsweise ermittelt werden können. --- Soziale Bedeutung - Eine detaillierte Diskussion über Flugkosten, Ticketpreise und die Umweltverträglichkeit des Flugverkehrs setzt detaillierte Kenntnisse über die Flugzeuge voraus. Durch ein Reverse Engineering können Verbraucher diese Diskussion mit der Industrie auf Augenhöhe führen. --- Originalität / Wert - Nach der Entwicklung von PJRE wird die Methode hier zum ersten Mal angewandt.

Water desalination is one approach to force water scarcity. One of the processes used for desalination is reverse osmosis. Like other systems, a reverse osmosis plant is susceptible to faults. A fault can lead to a loss of efficiency, or if the fault is severe to a total breakdown. Appropriate measures can minimize the impact of faults, but this requires in time fault detection. The following thesis shows a proposal for an online fault diagnosis system of a reverse osmosis plant. For the model-based approach, a mathematical model of a reverse osmosis plant has been developed. The model contains a new approach for modeling the interaction between the high-pressure pump, the brine valve, and the membrane module. Furthermore, six faults considered for fault diagnosis have been modeled. Two of the faults are plant faults: The leakage of the feed stream and membrane fouling. The other four faults are sensor or actuator malfunctions. The fault diagnosis system is developed via structural analysis, a graph-based approach to determine a mathematical model’s overdetermined systems of equations. With the structural analysis, 73 fault-driven minimal structurally overdetermined (FMSO) sets have been determined. The results show that all six faults are detectable. However, two faults are not isolable. Five of the FMSO sets have been chosen to deduce the residuals used for online fault detection and isolation. The simulations demonstrate that the calculated residuals are appropriate to detect and isolate the faults. If one assumes that only the considered faults occur, it is possible to determine some faults’ magnitude.

Die Skelettextraktion ist besonders in der Formanalyse ein wichtiges Werkzeug. Im Rahmen des Forschungsprojektes ’Extraktion fertigungsrelevanter Merkmale aus 3D-Daten umformtechnischer Bauteile zur featurebasierten Fertigungsprozessgestaltung’ als Kooperationsprojekt zwischen der Professur Graphische Datenverarbeitung und Visualisierung an der Technischen Universität Chemnitz und des Fraunhofer-Institut für Werkzeugmaschinen und Umformtechnik Chemnitz wurde diese zur Featureerkennung umgesetzt. Dieses Dokument gibt zunächst Einblick in grundlegende Verfahren und Problemstellungen einer solchen Extraktion. Die Ergebnisse mehrerer Forschungsschwerpunkte, die sich aus den zu untersuchenden Massivumformteilen ergaben, werden vorgestellt. Hierbei besonders interessant ist die robuste Extraktion von Kurvenskeletten bei Bauteilen mit nicht-zylindrischer Hauptform, sowie bei Bauteilen mit Nebenformelementen. Desweiteren werden Nachverarbeitung und Auswertung des Kurvenskeletts, sowie verwandte Forschungsarbeiten und -ergebnisse diskutiert.

Zusammenfassung Der vorliegende Beitrag schlägt eine Auswahlmethode vor, die geeignete Verfahren zur kosteneffizienten Rekonstruktion geometrischer Daten von Baugruppen und Bauteilen aufzeigt. Dabei werden verschiedene objektbezogene Einflussfaktoren wie beispielsweise die Bauteilkomplexität, vorhandene Standardfeatures (z.B. genormte Gewindebohrungen) oder besondere Oberflächengeometrien berücksichtigt. Darüber hinaus werden verschiedene Techniken anhand der Kriterien zeitlicher Aufwand, technologischer Aufwands und erzielbarer Maßgenauigkeit quantitativ verglichen. Dadurch kann der Anwender einen erforderlichen Kompromiss zwischen kostenmäßigem Aufwand und erzielbarer Maßgenauigkeit abschätzen.

Résumé :
This thesis explains how the classified design parameters of existing passenger jets can be determined. The classified design parameters are; the maximum lift coefficient for landing and take-off, the maximum aerodynamic efficiency and the specific fuel consumption. The entire concept is based on the preliminary sizing of jet powered civil aeroplanes. This preliminary sizing is explained in detail because it is the foundation of the final result. The preliminary sizing is combined using reverse engineering which is not a strict method. Therefore, only the basics are explained. By applying reverse engineering on the preliminary sizing and aiming for the classified design parameters as output, formulas are derived to calculate the maximum lift coefficients, the maximum aerodynamic efficiency and the specific fuel consumption. The goal is to calculate these parameters, using only aircraft specifications that are made public by the manufacturer. The calculations are complex with mutual relations, iterative processes and optimizations. Therefore, it is interesting to integrate everything in a tool. The tool is built in Microsoft Excel and explained in detail adding operating instructions. The program is executed for miscellaneous aeroplanes, supported with the necessary comments. Investigated aeroplanes are: Caravelle 10B (Sud-Aviation), Boeing 707-320C, BAe 146-200 (British Aerospance), A320-200 (Airbus), "The Rebel" (based on A320), Boeing SUGAR High, Boeing 747-400, Blended Wing Body VELA 2 (VELA) and Dassault Falcon 8X.

Das Harnblasenkarzinom (BCa) ist die zweithäufigste bösartige urologische Tumorerkrankung sowie die siebthäufigste tumorbedingte Todesursache bei Männern. Zur Senkung des erheblichen Rezidiv- und Progressionsrisikos oberflächlicher BCa kommen lokale Immun- oder Chemotherapeutika zum Einsatz, die jedoch starke Nebenwirkungen verursachen können bzw. ungenügende langfristige Effekte bewirken. Eine neuartige Therapieoption besteht in der gezielten Expressionshemmung von Genen, die den Tumorzellen einen Wachstumsvorteil vermitteln. Hierfür eignen sich besonders synthetische Nukleinsäuren wie Antisense-Oligodesoxynukleotide (AS-ODN) und small interfering RNAs (siRNAs). In der vorliegenden Arbeit wurde die Expressionshemmung des potenziellen Targetgens hTERT (humane Telomerase Reverse Transkriptase) mit AS-ODN und siRNAs in BCa-Zellen untersucht. Die Tumorspezifität der hTERT-mRNA-Expression konnte zunächst an tumor- und tumorfreien Gewebeproben von BCa-Patienten gezeigt werden. Die verwendeten AS-ODN reduzierten die hTERT-mRNA-Expression auf bis zu 40%, womit eine Verringerung der Telomeraseaktivität einherging. Die AS-ODN-Behandlung bewirkte des Weiteren eine konzentrationsabhängige Viabilitätsreduktion verschiedener BCa-Zelllinien sowie eine verminderte Zellkoloniebildungsrate. Diese antiproliferativen Effekte waren auf eine Apoptoseinduktion zurückzuführen. Durch eine Vorbehandlung von vier BCa-Zelllinien mit hTERT-AS-ODN konnten die zytotoxischen Effekte der für das BCa relevanten Chemotherapeutika Cisplatin, Mitomycin C und Gemcitabin signifikant verstärkt werden. Nach Untersuchung der AS-ODN-Wirkung in vitro erfolgte die Etablierung eines subkutanen Xenotransplantantmodells der Nacktmaus. Die Eignung einer intraperitonealen Applikation wurde mit fluoreszenzmarkierten AS-ODN belegt. In weiteren Zellkulturexperimenten kamen hTERT-siRNAs, als alternative Methode der Geninhibition, zum Einsatz. Die Reduktion der hTERT-mRNA-Expression auf 50% war mit der durch AS-ODN bewirkten Inhibition vergleichbar. Im Gegensatz zur AS-ODN-Behandlung induzierten siRNAs keine unmittelbare Apoptose. Eine Kombination der siRNAs mit Cisplatin und Mitomycin C bewirkte jedoch eine Verdopplung der Apoptoserate. Um die molekularen Mechanismen der Wirkung der nukleinsäurebasierten hTERT-Inhibitoren und den Einfluss targetunabhängiger Effekte zu untersuchen, wurden transkriptomweite Expressionsanalysen mittels Oligonukleotid-Microarrays durchgeführt. Hierbei zeigte sich, dass die AS-ODN-Behandlung vorwiegend zu einer gesteigerten Expression von Genen führte, die mit einer zellulären Stressantwort assoziiert sind (u.a. ATF3, EGR1, GADD45). Diese Expressionsmuster stimmten in hohem Maße mit denen überein, die durch Transfektion mit AS-ODN gegen andere Targets erhalten wurden. Diese Ergebnisse deuten auf eine, zumindest teilweise, durch off-Targeteffekte ausgelöste Wachstumshemmung hin. Die siRNA-Behandlungen gegen unterschiedliche Targets zeigten relativ geringe Übereinstimmungen in den Expressionsmustern und somit eine höhere Spezifität. Außerdem wurde erstmalig gezeigt, dass eine hTERT-Inhibition mit siRNAs zur trankriptionellen Hemmung der Onkogene EGFR und FOSL1 führt. Diese Daten sowie die Ergebnisse anderer Arbeitsgruppen deuten auf einen wechselseitigen Zusammenhang zwischen hTERT und EGFR in der Regulation der EGFR-stimulierten Proliferation von BCa-Zellen hin. Zusammenfassend lässt sich feststellen, dass hTERT als tumorspezifisch exprimierter und funktionell relevanter Faktor ein hervorragendes Target für eine nukleinsäurebasierte BCa-Therapieoption darstellt. Im Vergleich zu AS-ODN wirken siRNAs grundsätzlich targetspezifischer. Die therapeutische Wertigkeit der lokal applizierten Inhibitoren, insbesondere in Kombination mit herkömmlichen Chemotherapeutika, sollte in nachfolgenden Experimenten im Rahmen eines orthotopen BCa-Xenotransplantatmodells untersucht werden.

Abstract In the backdrop of rising inflationary numbers and a grim economic perspective, the RBI, in its MPC meeting on 4– 6 August 2020, had decided to leave the repo rate and reverse repo rate unchanged at 4% and 3.35%, respectively. The RBI maintained that its stance on the monetary policy was ‘accommodative’ as had been the case even prior to the pandemic. The decision to keep repo and reverse repo rates unchanged had been in light of retail inflation showing an upward trajectory and touching a high of 6.93% in July 2020. On the flip side, with experts predicting a contraction for the Indian economy of anywhere between 14% and 21% in Q1 of 2020, the chapter discusses if the RBI should have focussed on inflation or economic growth? It analyses if RBI should have taken monetary policy decisions based on WPI numbers also as against CPI numbers alone and rightly have aimed for economic recovery at the earliest.

They offered programs including menopause counseling, hormone replacement therapy and diagnosis and treatment of menstrual problems. Repro-ductive health centers provided for more gynecological exams, preg-nancy tests and contraceptive services. Compared to primary centers, reproductive health centers provided less general exams and offered fewer preventive services like blood pressure monitoring and immu-nizations. Along with the emergence of hospital sponsored programs of the 1980's came the creation of breast centers. Some diagnostic type breast centers offered only screenings and imaging services while others were comprehensive centers providing for screening along with diagnosis and treatment. Breast centers were found to offer more breast care services than other types of women's centers but again the range of services offered from one center to another was vastly differ-ent; 95% of breast centers offered diagnostic mammography, and 93% also provided self-breast exam instruction. Also 71% provided for biopsies and ultrasound and 37% provided for breast cancer treatment. Other women centers were found to be a mix of models; some education, some referral services, some independent support groups and some that also provided minimal clinical services. Many offered inpatient units for obstetrics and gynecology and outpatient services for breast screening. Education and information services were found to be an important component of the women's centers offerings. Many provided support groups as well as community agency referrals. Childbirth education classes, baby and you classes and exercise and diet classes usually were provided for an extra fee. Implications to Marketing The survey found many hospitals marketed their services to women because they perceived them as major consumers of health care and as referral sources for their families' health. Hence, a primary purpose was to increase hospital use and, therefore, revenue. Hospitals were and still are being innovative in their use of space. These hospital owned women's centers tended to be considerably market-oriented. They offered the opportunity to provide both a therapeutic milieu tailored to women and access to the resources of the larger institution. "deteriorating situation of the mountain peasantry became a defense problem, did this question of 'rural exchange' receive high priority in the Economic Programme of the government [SPP, 1985]. Agrarian investment in the 1980-84 period was maintained at a high level, equivalent to about half the national total. This was almost exclusively concentrated on the APP: that is, in about half the modern sector or about a quarter of the whole of agriculture. This investment included extensive irrigation works, imports of tractors and combine harvesters, coffee reno-vation, a sugar mill, palm oil plantations, intensive dairy and beef breeding units, as well as the recapitalisation of the new state farms ruined by their previous owners. It formed part of a long-term strategy discussed below and thus did not itself add much to production during the first five years, although it did help compensate declines in the large private production sector. Given the external terms of trade (which had deteriorated by 40 per cent between 1977 and 1983 [CEPAL, 1984]) and the gradual recovery of production, the agricultural sector was not in a position to generate a sufficiently large surplus to finance its own investment. Even though the sector generated three times more exports than it absorbed imports [MIDINRA, 1985], the foreign exchange thus released was needed to maintain basic consumption elsewhere in the economy. Similarly, food supplies over and above the requirements of the agrarian workforce were needed to maintain the rest of the population; there was no significant capital goods sector to absorb these wagegoods [FitzGerald, 1982]. Thus, this investment was basically financed from abroad, initially with long-term development loans from multilateral institutions, but as US agression increased these funds were cut off and replaced by commercial credits from both capitalist and socialist suppliers. This was economically justifiable in that the increment in exports (or substituted imports) would have a compensatory balance of payments effect within a few years. Eventually, however, a net exchange surplus would have to be generated so that agroexports should expand more rapidly than domestic foodstuffs rather than the reverse, as had been the case between 1980 and 1984, when popular living standards had a higher priority than the trade balance. None the less, the major shortcoming of this accumulation model was undoubtedly its almost exclusive concentration on the APP as the focus of modernisation. Large private farmers might not wish to invest, but the middle farmers and the co-operatives were also neglected in machinery assignment, cattle restocking, and irrigation equipment. The political objective of preventing the re-emergence of capitalist accumulation or the reconstruc-tion of a rural bourgeoisie (albeit on a petty scale) appears to have been the main justification. However, the cost in terms of production was high, and in any case such a sector could have been simply controlled through the existing fiscal, banking and commercial mechanisms, let alone the eventual application of the Agrarian Reform laws." Abstract This paper presents techniques for reverse engineering of objects containing faces with multiple loops (faces with holes, slots, etc.) wherein these internal loops are specified as constraints on the underlying surface. Non Uniform Rational B-spline (NURBS) surfaces are used for the representation of the faces with the constrained regions specified analytically. The algorithm for fitting of NURBS surfaces to a set of data points is first discussed and then the conditions necessary for joining two patches with the desired continuity (either C0, G1 or C1) are developed. Finally the concepts developed are illustrated with three examples. This paper thus brings together the initial results in the development of a constraints based system for reverse engineering of multiple loop faces in a B-Rep based modeler context.

Current CAD systems provide utilities to position and orient parts with respect to each other in assemblies through associative relations that include geometric and parametric constraints. However, assembly features are not explicitly defined, nor available in CAD databases for exploitation in downstream applications. This paper examines the attributes of assembly features and proposes a template for their definition in a uniform way. The template can be used in conjunction with an EXPRESS-like language (N-Rep) to define assembly features that are implementation independent. The template includes slots for part features, mating relations, geometric, parametric, kinematic and structural relations. The current application for assembly features being explored is for Reverse Engineering of legacy parts. Assembly features serve as “knowledge containers” in that they allow one to encode form, fit and function in a uniform way so that replacement parts can be redesigned to meet key requirements.

3D object construction by reverse engineering falls into two categories: surface reconstruction and solid model reconstruction. The 3D surface reconstruction techniques are intended to extract only the geometric information from the measured point cloud and are commonly used in computer graphics and computer vision, whereas the 3D solid model reconstruction techniques are expected to extract the geometric as well as the topological information from the measured point cloud and has application in the field of CAD/CAM. This paper presents a novel framework for 3D solid model reconstruction, which will enable reconstruction of a B-rep model of a physical object based on the 3D point cloud data captured from the surface of the object. In this framework, we use a magnetic position sensor for measuring the data from the surface of the object. This has numerous advantages over conventional methods of data acquisition that use laser scanner or coordinate measuring machine. For segmenting the measured point cloud data into sub-regions, a non-iterative region growing algorithm is developed and implemented. Our surface detection scheme is based on a Modified Gaussian image (MGI) of the sub-region and least-square techniques are used for fitting a surface to the points in a sub-region. The reconstructed B-Rep model is stored in an ISO 10303 (STEP) file format so that it can be imported in to standard CAD/CAM systems for future modifications or analysis.

Introdução: A Constituição da República Federativa do Brasil consagra como seu princípio basilar a dignidade da pessoa humana, cabendo ao legislativo regulamentar as leis infraconstitucionais e os Projetos de Emendas Constitucionais, adequando o direito às transformações históricas e sociais. Com base nesse entendimento, este trabalho analisa como a legislação brasileira tem dispensado tratamento aos diversos tipos de família, demonstrando como a tutela da dignidade humana tem sido preterida pelo ordenamento jurídico pátrio, dada a inércia dos legisladores. Nesse sentido, importa a proposição da via educativa como a propulsora do letramento vernacular e, por conseguinte, do fortalecimento da democracia brasileira, o que faz realçar o valor social desta pesquisa. Objetivos: Para tanto, analisa-se a crônica “Pegue o remo companheira”, com enfoque no Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente (ECA) e na pedagogia freiriana. Assim, o aluno pode se reconhecer como sujeito de direitos e deveres, via efetivação do letramento vernacular, fomentador da consciência cidadã. Em seguida, exibem-se os tipos de família, considerando a diversidade social do Brasil, assim como relacionando-os à forma como o direito tem se manifestado no Brasil. Por fim, analisa-se a inércia legislativa do Congresso Nacional, fazendo notar como o conceito de família tem mais considerado o direito patrimonial do que o da felicidade da pessoa humana. Material e métodos: É uma pesquisa bibliográfica, com coleta qualitativa, no que diz respeito à metodologia, demandando um semestre para a sua execução. Primeiro, faz-se o levantamento bibliográfico, modo pelo são cotejados os resultados. Resultados: Nesse compasso, verifica-se como o preconceito aos homoafetivos e a todos os seres humanos que vivenciem novas formas de família, contrárias à concepção “tradicional”, tem se feito presença marcante no Brasil, sob rótulo de que esse país é um Estado Democrático de Direito. Para reverter esse panorama desolador, a educação é de primaz relevância por oportunizar a consciência cidadã, fomentadora da criticidade necessária. Conclusão: Assim, o indivíduo pode intervir no meio no qual vive, promovendo efetiva justiça social, havendo não apenas o desenvolvimento do letramento vernacular do educando, mas também a sua oportunidade de inserção social, que lhe garante verdadeira cidadania.
