Résumé :
Ruan jian qing mai recipe (RJQM) is an empirical prescription for treating arteriosclerosis obliterans (ASO). However, the mechanism of RJQM recipe-mediated ASO attenuation has not yet been elucidated. Therefore, this study aimed to explore the mechanism by which the RJQM recipe relieves ASO in a mouse model of lower limb ischemia, which was established by ligating and breaking the femoral artery of the left lower limb. The surgical groups were divided into the ischemic group, beraprost sodium group, low-dose RJQM group, medium-dose RJQM group, and high-dose RJQM group. Normal mice were set as the control group. The blood flow of the lower limb was examined on days 7 and 14. At the end of animal procedures, blood samples were collected, and the rectus femoris of the left lower limb were harvested. Results revealed that mice in the ischemic group demonstrated low blood flow. Additionally, hematoxylin and eosin, and Masson staining results showed that inflammation of the rectus femoris was obvious in the ischemia group, and the level of fibrosis was increased. Blood flow was recovered in all treatment groups compared to the ischemic group, and the inflammatory infiltration and fibrosis of the rectus femoris were relieved after RJQM treatment. The serum levels of interleukin (IL)-17A and IL-21 were decreased, and the expression of JAK2/STAT3 proteins was inhibited in all RJQM treatment groups compared to the ischemia group. Furthermore, the improvement of IL-17A, IL-21, and rectus femoris fibrosis was more obvious with increasing treatment time. In conclusion, RJQM can effectively alleviate ASO and promote the recovery of lower limb blood flow by regulating the JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway to reduce the inflammatory response.

Here, we investigate asymptotic equivalent formulas for finite-time ruin probabilities in a renewal risk model with a subexponential distribution in this research, in the cases of the negatively dependent and upper tail independent, respectively. First, we extend the related research results of Tao Jiang, and Chengguo Weng et al. to the subexponential case, respectively. Thereafter two precise asymptotic equivalent relations are established, one is the finite-time probability when the random variables of the claims are influenced by the common subexponential distribution in a negative way, and another the finite-time ruin probability when the claimsizes are upper tail independent with the common subexponential distribution.

In her recent study of the heritage project that is contemporary New Orleans, anthropologist Shanon Dawdy has suggested that “[s]ociety presents itself simultaneously as a ruin and as a kind of playland” (2016, 147). This notion that the ruin is both a product of, and a basis for, heritage practice serves as a useful intervention into long-standing treatments of ruins as exotic, romantic, and awaiting the discovery, glorification, and preservation of those that might give them meaning. In the present essay, I further challenge heritage approaches to ruins through an examination of the ways in which they have been associated, in various Muslim cultural contexts, with a set of distinctly sentient, yet non-human actors, the jinn. This pairing between place and spirits has shaped long-standing affective responses and practical engagements between local (human) inhabitants and their archaeologically rich landscapes across the Middle East and North Africa. This essay examines how those engagements often push against contemporary discourses highlighting the sublime aspects of ruins and the quasi-sacred nature of heritage. To that end, the following guiding questions structure my contribution: Can contemporary heritage discourses accommodate practices in which humans share control and ownership of the material past with spectral others? How might we reframe the mandate to preserve such ruins in light of alternative perspectives that mark these sites as sinister, and/or meaningful, precisely because of their ruination? Can universalizing heritage discourses accommodate practices that derive value from the material past without also subscribing to explicit preservationist goals? Such questions offer an opportunity to consider the inclusion of the Unseen, and perhaps others, whose perspectives have gone unrecognized, within professional heritage management and its hermeneutics of the past.

Résumé :
Abstract Breast cancer has now risen to the number one cancer in the world, posing a great threat to human health. LILRB2 (leukocyte immunoglobulinlike receptor B2) is an important immunosuppressive receptor protein, which is mainly expressed in myeloid cells, such as macrophages and dendritic cells. At present, we have found clinically that patients with breast cancer bone and bone marrow metastasis have higher expression of LILRB2. In our research, we used Western blotting, real-time fluorescent quantitative Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR), flow cytometry, and other experimental methods to explore the expression and function of LILRB2 in breast cancer cells. In our research, we found that LILRB2does increase expression in breast cancer cells, therefore, we want to explore the role of LILRB2 in breast cancer cells. we find that LILRB2 will accelerate the proliferation of tumor cells and increase their migration ability. We tested the related signal pathways and found that LILRB2 can promote the enhancement of the NF-Kb signal pathway. Further, we have done related LILRB2 correlation analysis and found that LILRB2 can reduce human leukocyte antigen-A (HLA-A) Expression. Next, we tested the changes in the level of major histocompatibility complex (MHC-1) related mRNA and found that its mRNA expression increased, which was inconsistent with the decrease in its protein level we observed. Therefore, we used the proteasome inhibitor MG132 for treatment, and the results showed after adding MG132, the decrease in HLA-A expression caused by overexpression of LILRB2 was restored. Next, we knocked down the breast cancer cell line of membrane-associated ring finger (MARCH9). After we knocked down MARCH9, transfection of LILRB2 did not increase the ubiquitination of HLA-A. Therefore we show that LILRB2 can mediate the post-translational modification of HLA-A via MARCH9, which in turn mediates the degradation ofHLA-A. In conclusion, our research shows that LILRB2 maybe a candidate of clinical target for the treatment of breast cancer, preventing possible bone and bone marrow metastasis from breast cancer. Résumé :
Abstract Tumor metastasis to the skeleton affects over 70% cancer patients, more than any other site of metastasis Skeletal related events (SREs) included spinal cord compression, fracture, bone radiation or surgery, and tumor-related hypercalcemia are severe complications of bone metastases, which impair patients life quality and require particular treatments The gold standard for the definitive diagnosis is still pathological examination, which needs pre-biopsy imaging review to improve the diagnosis efficacy Classic imaging review method for being CT (Computed Tomography) and 18F-FDG PET/CT Research has shown that 18F-FDG PET/CT is superior to CT in detecting bone metastasis, however, it is not validated by a prospective study Besides, as SUVmax is a metabolic parameter in oncology imaging, we can serve as a reliable semiquantitative indicator to differentiate bone lesions We conducted a prospective clinical trial at Shanghai Sixth People’s Hospital Inclusion criteria were as follows: referred for diagnostic biopsy on a suspicion of metastatic disease Exclusion criteria included contraindications for biopsy 205 patients participated in the cohort study, then were randomized into PET/CT and CT group They underwent 18F-FDG PET/CT and CT separately to confirm accurate location, then both received CT-guided bone biopsy to confirm The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy were calculated In PET/CT group, malignant bone metastases were found in 83/137 patients and biopsies proved 80 were actual metastases In CT group, 48 malignant bone metastases were spotted and 47 were truly decisive The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of 18F-FDG PET/CT and CT are 99% vs 87%, 95% vs 93%, and 97% vs 88% A chi-square test was utilized to analyze The sensitivity of 18F-FDG PET/CT is better than CT (P=0 0065), but the specificity and accuracy had no differences, indicating 18F-FDG PET/CT could detect more bone metastatic lesions potentially than CT We also found metastasis malignant lesions had higher bone SUVmax than benign (median 9 3 vs 4 25, p <0 001) ROC curves were asked to evaluate the differential efficacy of SUVmax In all 137 patients, the SUVmax 6 3 showed an AUC of 0 874 to predict malignant metastases Our research shows that [18F]FDG PET/CT has greater sensitivity in detecting malignant bone metastases than CT, and SUVmax can be different criteria for determining the malignancy of bone lesions Citation Format: Hui Zhao, Yujie Chang, Zhiyuan Jiang, Zhiyu Wang, Shunyi Ruan. 18F-FDG PET/CT detects potentially malignant bone metastases in patients with suspected lesions: A prospective clinical trial [abstract]. Résumé :
BackgroundVSIG4 (V-set immunoglobulin-domain-containing 4) is a B7 family related protein with known roles as a complement receptor involved in pathogen clearance as well as a negative regulator of T cell activation by an undetermined mechanism.1–3 VSIG4 is expressed in tumor associated macrophages (TAMs) with exquisite specificity. In cancer, increased expression of VSIG4 has been associated with worse survival in multiple indications, including non-small cell lung cancer, multiple myeloma, ovarian cancer, and glioma, suggesting an important role in tumor immune evasion.3–6 Based upon computational analysis of transcript data across thousands of primary cancer and normal tissue samples, we hypothesized that VSIG4 has an important regulatory role in promoting M2-like immune suppressive macrophages in the tumor microenvironment, and that targeting VSIG4 via a monoclonal antibody could relieve VSIG4-mediated macrophage suppression by repolarizing TAMs to an inflammatory phenotype capable of coordinating an anti-tumor immune response.MethodsThe ability of anti-VSIG4 antibodies to repolarize M2-like macrophages and induce T cell activation was assessed in vitro and ex vivo, by measuring production of inflammatory mediators. In vitro assays were performed primarily with M-CSF plus IL-10 driven monocyte-derived M2c macrophages from healthy donors. Ex vivo assays were performed with fresh, patient-derived tumor samples in culture. To determine whether targeting VSIG4 can lead to an anti-tumor effect in vivo, syngeneic mouse models were dosed with anti-mouse VSIG4 antibodies and characterized for changes in tumor volume and immune cell populations.ResultsIn in vitro and ex vivo assays anti-VSIG4 antibodies repolarize M2 macrophages and induce an immune response culminating in T cell activation. Targeting VSIG4 upregulates pro-inflammatory cytokines in M2c macrophages, as well as upregulates pro-inflammatory myeloid-derived cytokines and T cell-derived cytokines in M2c macrophages co-cultured with autologous T cells in the presence of staphylococcal enterotoxin B (SEB) activation. To assess targeting VSIG4 in a relevant translational model, fresh, patient-derived tumor samples were treated ex vivo with anti-VSIG4. Across multiple tumor types, anti-VSIG4 treatment resulted in a significant upregulation of cytokines involved in TAM repolarization and T cell activation, and chemokines involved in immune cell recruitment, at levels greater than observed by treatment with anti-PD-1 or a clinical macrophage repolarizing agent (anti-ILT-4). In vivo, tumor growth inhibition is observed in syngeneic mouse models dosed with anti-mouse-VSIG4 alone and in combination with anti-PD-1.ConclusionsTaken together, these data suggest that VSIG4 represents a promising new target capable of stimulating an anti-cancer response via multiple key immune mechanisms.Referencesvan Lookeren Campagne M, Verschoor A. Résumé :
Résumé :
The achievement of children's quality of life is undoubtedly linked to the development of positive habits that will continue to be practiced in future lives. This can be done by developing awareness and behavior of a balanced clean and healthy lifestyle. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in the PHBS ability of children. Various efforts have been made so that children with intellectual disabilities can maintain their cleanliness. The efforts made by the teacher are still not maximal so that the delivery of information about PHBS must be completed by another method, namely demonstration. This research was conducted at SDLB 127710 Pematangsiantar5 with an action research method that refers to the Kurt Lewin model. Data collection techniques used purposive sampling and data analysis with the Wilcoxon test. The results showed an increase in understanding of the PHBS of children with intellectual disabilities able to learn SDLB 127710 Pematangsiantar through the demonstration method. This is evidenced by the increase in the score, where the initial assessment was obtained (59%), while in the first cycle, the average score was good (69.9%). In short, the understanding of children with intellectual disabilities being able to learn about PHBS is increased by using the demonstration method. Résumé :
Background: The “Ruan Jian Qing Mai (RJQM) recipe” is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), which has been found significant curative effects on diabetic ulcers in clinic for a long time. Previous research has shown that RJQM can improve diabetic skin wound healing and promote angiogenesis. However, the active ingredients of RJQM recipe and its pharmacological mechanism of treatment for diabetic skin wound healing still remain unclear. This study aims to investigate the effect of the RJQM recipe on diabetic wound healing, and to identify the possible active ingredients and their mechanism. Method: First, a skin injury model was established in diabetic mice, and wound healing was evaluated by hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining, quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR), and western blot analysis. Second, the chemical constituents of the RJQM recipe were analyzed and identified by ultrapressure liquid chromatography mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS). Finally, the possible targets of drug treatment for diabetic skin injury were analyzed by network pharmacology and verified by in vitro experiments using cell culture. Results: (1) In the full-thickness skin injury model, the skin wound healing rate and healing area were significantly increased in mice treated with the RJQM recipe compared with those of the model group. The results of immunofluorescence staining showed that the RJQM recipe could increase the expression of VEGF protein and promote the proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells and the formation of microvessels, and RT-qPCR results found that the mRNA expression of angiogenesis-related factors in the RJQM recipe group was significantly higher than that in the model group. (2) A total of 25 compounds were identified by UPLC-MS. (3) According to the results of network pharmacology, the therapeutic effect of the RJQM recipe on diabetic skin injury may be related to S6 (quercetin), S1 (typhaneoside), S18 (isoliquiritigenin), protein kinase B-α (Akt1), phosphoinositide-3-kinase regulatory subunit 1 (PIK3R1), insulin-like growth factor I receptor (IGF1R), vascular endothelial growth factor-a (VEGF-a), signal transducer and activator of transcription-3 (STAT3) and phosphoinositide 3-kinase-protein kinase B (PI3K-Akt) signaling pathways. Based on the predictions by network pharmacology, we proved that the drug could treat diabetic skin damage by activating the PI3K-Akt-VEGF signaling pathway. Conclusion: The RJQM recipe promotes the formation of granulation tissue during the process of wound healing and exerts a good therapeutic effect on diabetic skin wound healing.

Résumé :
Proliferative diabetic retinopathy (PDR) is one of the main complications of diabetes, mainly caused by the aberrant proliferation of retinal vascular endothelial cells and the formation of new blood vessels. Traditional Chinese medicines possess great potential in the prevention and treatment of PDR. Bie-Jia-Ruan-Mai-Tang (BJ), a Chinese medicine formula, has a good therapeutic effect on PDR clinically; however, the mechanism of action involved remains unclear. Therefore, we investigated the effect of BJ on PDR through in vitro and in vivo experiments. A diabetic mouse model with PDR was established by feeding a high-fat–high-glucose diet combined with an intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin (STZ), while high-glucose-exposed human retinal capillary endothelial cells (HRCECs) were employed to mimic PDR in vitro. The in vivo experiments indicated that BJ inhibited the formation of acellular capillaries, decreased the expression of VEGF, and increased the level of ZO-1 in diabetic mice retina. In vitro experiments showed that high glucose significantly promoted cell viability and proliferation. However, BJ inhibited cell proliferation by cycle arrest in the S phase, thus leading to apoptosis; it also increased the production of ROS, decreased the mitochondrial membrane potential, reduced the ATP production, and also reduced the expressions of p-PI3K, p-AKT, and Bcl-xL, but increased the expressions of Bax and p-NF-κB. These results suggest that BJ induces the apoptosis of HRCECs exposed to high glucose through activating the mitochondrial death pathway by decreasing the PI3K/AKT signaling and increasing the NF-κB signaling to inhibit the formation of acellular capillaries in the retina, thus impeding the development of PDR.

Therefore, the problem of rational use of natural resources, in particular protection of early spring plant species is very important. However, literary sources analysis only reveals data on the biology of species of this genus. The present research, conducted in the spring of 2017-2019, focuses on anatomical and morphological features of two Altai species : Gagealutea and Gagea minima ; these features were studied, clarified and confirmed by drawings and photographs. The anatomical structure of the stem and leaf blade was studied in detail. The obtained research results will prove useful for studies of medicinal raw materials and honey plants. The aforementioned species are similar in morphological features, yet G. minima issmaller in size, and its shoots appear earlier than those of other species Keywords : Flora, gageas,Altai species, vegetative organs., Refference : I. View | Download INFLUENCE OF SUCCESSION CROPPING ON ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY OF NO-TILL CROP ROTATIONS Authors : Victor K. Dridiger,Roman S. Stukalov,Rasul G. Gadzhiumarov,Anastasiya A. Voropaeva,Viktoriay A. Kolomytseva, DOI : https://doi.org/10.26782/jmcms.spl.10/2020.06.00042 Abstract : This study was aimed at examining the influence of succession cropping on the economic efficiency of no-till field crop rotations on the black earth in the zone of unstable moistening of the Stavropol krai. A long-term stationary experiment was conducted to examine for the purpose nine field crop rotation patterns different in the number of fields (four to six), set of crops, and their succession in crop rotation. The respective shares of legumes, oilseeds, and cereals in the cropping pattern were 17 to 33, 17 to 40, and 50 to 67 %. It has been established that in case of no-till field crop cultivation the economic efficiency of plant production depends on the set of crops and their succession in rotation. The most economically efficient type of crop rotation is the soya-winter wheat-peas-winter wheat-sunflower-corn six-field rotation with two fields of legumes : in this rotation 1 ha of crop rotation area yields 3 850 grain units per ha at a grain unit prime cost of 5.46 roubles ; the plant production output return and profitability were 20,888 roubles per ha and 113 %, respectively. The high production profitabilities provided by the soya-winter wheat-sunflower four-field and the soya-winter-wheat-sunflower-corn-winter wheat five-field crop rotation are 108.7 and 106.2 %, respectively. The inclusion of winter wheat in crop rotation for two years in a row reduces the second winter wheat crop yield by 80 to 100 %, which means a certain reduction in the grain unit harvesting rate to 3.48-3.57 thousands per ha of rotation area and cuts the production profitability down to 84.4-92.3 %. This is why, no-till cropping should not include winter wheat for a second time Keywords : No-till technology, crop rotation, predecessor, yield, return, profitability, Refference : I Badakhova G. View | Download DEVELOPMENT AND TESTING OF AUTONOMOUS PORTABLE SEISMOMETER DESIGNED FOR USE AT ULTRALOW TEMPERATURES IN ARCTIC ENVIRONMENT Authors : Mikhail A. Abaturov,Yuriy V. Sirotinskiy, DOI : https://doi.org/10.26782/jmcms.spl.10/2020.06.00043 Abstract : This paper is concerned with solving one of the issues of the general problem of designing geophysical equipment for the natural climatic environment of the Arctic. The relevance of the topic has to do with an increased global interest in this region. The paper is aimed at considering the basic principles of developing and the procedure of testing seismic instruments for use at ultralow climatic temperatures. In this paper the indicated issue is considered through the example of a seismic module designed for petroleum and gas exploration by passive seismoacoustic methods. The seismic module is a direct-burial portable unit of around 5 kg in weight, designed to continuously measure and record microseismic triaxial orthogonal (ZNE) noise in a range from 0.1 to 45 Hz during several days in autonomous mode. The functional chart of designing the seismic module was considered, and concrete conclusions were made for choosing the necessary components to meet the ultralow-temperature operational requirements. The conclusions made served for developing appropriate seismic module. In this case, the components and tools used included a SAFT MP 176065 xc low-temperature lithium cell, industrial-spec electronic component parts, a Zhaofeng Geophysical ZF-4.5 Chinese primary electrodynamic seismic sensor, housing seal parts made of frost-resistant silicone materials, and finely dispersed silica gel used as water-retaining sorbent to avoid condensation in the housing. The paper also describes a procedure of low-temperature collation tests at the lab using a New Brunswick Scientific freezing plant. The test results proved the operability of the developed equipment at ultralow temperatures down to -55°C. In addition, tests were conducted at low microseismic noises in the actual Arctic environment. The possibility to detect signals in a range from 1 to 10 Hz at the level close to the NLNM limit (the Peterson model) has been confirmed, which allows monitoring and exploring petroleum and gas deposits by passive methods. As revealed by this study, the suggested approaches are efficient in developing high-precision mobile seismic instruments for use at ultralow climatic temperatures. The solution of the considered instrumentation and methodical issues is of great practical significance as a constituent of the generic problem of Arctic exploration. The article analyzes the results of treatment of patients with excess length of the second metatarsal bones that underwent osteotomy with and without osteosynthesis. The results of treatment of patients who underwent metatarsal shortening due to classical Weil-osteotomy with and without osteosynthesis were analyzed. The first group consisted of 34 patients. They underwent classical Weil osteotomy. The second group included 44 patients in whomosteotomy of the second metatarsal bone were not by the screw. When studying the results of the treatment in the immediate postoperative period, weeks 6, 12, slightly better results were observed in patients of the first group, while one year after surgical treatment the results in both groups were comparable. One year after surgical treatment, there were 2.9% (1 patient) of unsatisfactory results in the first group and 4.5% (2 patients) in the second group. Considering the comparability of the results of treatment in remote postoperative period, the choice of concrete method remains with the operating surgeon. View | Download QUANTITATIVE ULTRASONOGRAPHY OF THE STOMACH AND SMALL INTESTINE IN HEALTHYDOGS Authors : Roman A. Tcygansky,Irina I. Nekrasova,Angelina N. Shulunova,Alexander I.Sidelnikov, DOI : https://doi.org/10.26782/jmcms.spl.10/2020.06.00045 Abstract : Purpose. To determine the quantitative echogenicity indicators (and their ratio) of the layers of stomach and small intestine wall in healthy dogs. Methods. A prospective 3-year study of 86 healthy dogs (aged 1-7 yrs) of different breeds and of both sexes. Echo homogeneity and echogenicity of the stomach and intestines wall were determined by the method of Silina, T.L., et al. (2010) in absolute values of average brightness levels of ultrasound image pixels using the 8-bit scale with 256 shades of gray. Results. Quantitative echogenicity indicators of the stomach and the small intestine wall in dogs were determined. Based on the numerical values characterizing echogenicity distribution in each layer of a separate structure of the digestive system, the coefficient of gastric echogenicity is determined as 1:2.4:1.1 (mucosa/submucosa/muscle layers, respectively), the coefficient of duodenum and jejunum echogenicity is determined as 1:3.5:2 and that of ileum is 1:1.8:1. Clinical significance. The echogenicity coefficient of the wall of the digestive system allows an objective assessment of the stomach and intestines wall and can serve as the basis for a quantitative assessment of echogenicity changes for various pathologies of the digestive system Keywords : Ultrasound (US),echogenicity, echogenicity coefficient, digestive system, dogs, stomach, intestines, Refference : I. Belyayeva,Fatima S. Datieva,Larisa R. Datieva, DOI : https://doi.org/10.26782/jmcms.spl.10/2020.06.00046 Abstract : The aim of this work was to assess the functional reserves of the body to quantify individual health ; adaptation, psychophysiological characteristics of the health quality of medical students in different seasons of the year. When studying the temporal organization of physiological functions, the rhythm parameters of physiological functions were determined, followed by processing the results using the Cosinor Analysis program, which reveals rhythms with an unknown period for unequal observations, evaluates 5 parameters of sinusoidal rhythms (mesor, amplitude, acrophase, period, reliability). The essence of desynchronization is the mismatch of circadian rhythms among themselves or destruction of the rhythms architectonics (instability of acrophases or their disappearance). Desynchronization with respect to the rhythmic structure of the body is of a disregulatory nature, most pronounced in pathological desynchronization. High neurotism, increased anxiety reinforces the tendency to internal desynchronization, which increases with stress. During examination stress, students experience a decrease in the stability of the temporary organization of the biosystem and the tension of adaptive mechanisms develops, which affects attention, mental performance and the quality of adaptation to the educational process. Time is shortened and the amplitude of the “initial minute” decreases, personal and situational anxiety develops, and the level of psychophysiological adaptation decreases. The results of the work are priority because they can be used in assessing quality and level of health. Tsvetkov, DOI : https://doi.org/10.26782/jmcms.spl.10/2020.06.00047 Abstract : The present study of comparison methods based on the triadic model introduces the following concepts : the relation of comparability and the relation of comparison, and object comparison and attributive comparison. The difference between active and passive qualitative comparison is shown, two triadic models of passive and active comparison and models for comparing two and three objects are described. Triadic comparison models are proposed as an alternative to dyadic comparison models. Comparison allows finding the common and the different ; this approach is proposed for the analysis of the nomothetic and ideographic method of obtaining knowledge. The nomothetic method identifies and evaluates the general, while the ideographic method searches for unique in parameters and in combinations of parameters. Triadic comparison is used in systems and methods of argumentation, as well as in the analysis of consistency/inconsistency.
