Mexicano Flores is a musical about the real-life trial and execution of Miguel Ángel Flores, an undocumented Mexican in Texas, who murders Angela, a US citizen. <strong>RESUMEN</strong> Se realiza un análisis literario y formal estructural de cuatro canciones populares de Cuenca-Ecuador, representativas de los años sesenta del siglo XX, que tuvieron gran difusión en las radios cuencanas de la época. Para el efecto, se aplica una propuesta metodológica que aborda el objeto de estudio desde los niveles poético, semiótico, temático e ideológico.
