Résumé :
The article analyzes the changes that characterize Spanish approach to political aspects of European integration, and more specifically, the approach of different political parties to the process. Spanish political circles and even think tanks pay relatively little attention to theoretical aspects of European integration, whereas practical relations with the EU are of paramount importance. This is due to the fact that the question of belonging to the EU was settled in Spain long ago and definitively. Majoritarian character of Spanish democracy facilitates the transfer of powers from Brussels t

Relations between southern European member states have often been marked by a loose cooperation or, worse, by logics of competition. Precisely when regional groupings within the EU are increasingly shaping the agenda, these dynamics have hindered the capacity of France, Greece, Italy, Portugal and Spain to pursue shared interests and objectives, while acting as a force for good for the European integration project. Recent events such as the post-pandemic recovery or the war in Ukraine show that, when cooperation occurs, positive results can be achieved. Southern member states can capitalise on

Résumé :
AbstractThis examination deals with the mental maps and basic assumptions underlying Russia’s foreign policy and how these relate to China. I will take issue with the narrative, advanced in particular by Kremlin officials and pro-Putin apologists in the West, that Russia’s “pivot to Asia,” with China as its centerpiece, can be understood as the consequence of the West having rejected Putin’s outstretched hand for close cooperation, Russia’s exclusion from an all-European security structure by pushing NATO’s eastward expansion, and finally the imposition of economic sanctions. This, to complete the account, had left Russia with no other option but to turn to Asia. Such interpretations will be shown to be fundamentally flawed. Putin’s China policies fit squarely into both the Russian power elite’s global strategic outlook and its narrow perception of what is needed to hold on to power domestically. The benefits accruing to Russia from its liaison with China can be found in military, economic, and systemic dimensions, and they are for the most part asymmetric in favor of the Kremlin. The asymmetries may cause problems in the future, but for the time being, they are carefully managed so that they will not spin out of control.

Résumé :
Abstract The past 20 years have been of crucial importance for the regulatory framework of Spain’s financial serv- ices industry. The Spanish financial system has become integrated into the international financial mar- kets through a series of regulatory reforms, allowing it to become more liberalized, efficient and flexible. One of the key factors contributing to this internationalization was undoubtedly Spain’s admission to the European Economic Community (EEC) in 1986 and subsequently the implementation of the Economic and Monetary Union (EMU). The construction of the single market ensured that some crucial reforms in Spain became compulsory. Spain has become increasingly attractive for foreign capital, which has triggered an economic boom in the country. In addition, being a part of the euro area has been another step towards economic growth. Membership of the EMU has led to fewer transaction costs and related expenses for companies with international operations, facilitated cross-border trade in Europe and also increased the opportunities for foreign investors in the member states ‘ national markets.

Résumé :
The purpose of the study is to study the guidelines of land business in the EU and substantiate its prospects for Ukrainian realities. The article examines the experience of land business in the European Union such as Switzerland, Sweden, Hungary, Belgium, Austria, Denmark, Estonia, Spain, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Poland, Cyprus, Romania, Slovenia and France. Prospects for its conduct in Ukraine are highlighted. It is established that the advantages of conducting land business in the European Union are characterized by ensuring the right to free movement of capital and conducting private business. Guidelines for conducting land business that are attractive for Ukrainian realities are analyzed. The influence of components of the macroenvironment, such as external resources, level of integration, international competition in the world economy, taking into account the peculiarities of doing business abroad, competitiveness of products in foreign markets, world market conditions. The influence of community components on doing business on the ground, such as internal resources, development of local infrastructure, organization of round tables on business issues, project preparation, dominance of local initiatives is analyzed. The influence of power components on conducting land business, such as the state of legislation, economic policy in relation to business entities, the consequences of the impact of political actions on markets has been studied. The components of the business are directly revealed, such as social entrepreneurship and partnership, building a business strategy on the ground, joint solution of local problems, promotion of innovative business orientation, creation of cluster groups or business incubators. It was established that the current economic situation dictates new conditions regarding the possibilities of usingnatural resource potential in a specific situation with a specific set of resources, such as budget-tax, monetary-credit,institutional and scientific-technical levers. It is indicated that the main possibilities of using the natural resource potentialare stimulating the interest of economic entities on the land in the restoration of the destroyed natural resource potential;interaction of executive authorities and business structures; inflow of investment. The opinion is highlighted that the main key goals aimed at the post-war reconstruction of the economic space ofbusiness entities on earth are the integration of national science into the global economic space, the restoration of economicactivity of economic entities on earth, the reconstruction of destroyed objects and disturbed territories, active inclusionof the population of Ukraine in the reconstruction of the economic space, comprehensive support of European countriesaimed at gradual sustainable growth, modernization of the economy taking into account the experience of Europe, development and observance of strategies and plans for the reconstruction of territories. In addition, it is argued that the experience of European countries is a valuable scientific and practical material fordetermining the target parameters of the Ukrainian economic recovery policy, as well as the land use system as a whole.

In a globalised world, the effects of climate change are likely to cascade across borders. Climate impacts in one location may have far reaching consequences in other places by affecting trade, migration, investments, and foreign policy objectives. Whether such cascading effects are likely to materialise depends in turn on a number of social, economic, and political factors that reinforce or attenuate the effects of climate change on economic development, migration, political stability, etc. These moderating conditions are crucial when considering possible challenges in connection with climate

Russian policymakers regard the UK as hostile, but also as weaker than Russia: a junior partner of the US and less important than Germany within Europe. The consensus among Russian observers is that Brexit has reduced the UK’s international influence, to Russia’s benefit. The hist
