Résumé :
The diversity of mosses around the Syamsudin Noor international airport was never reported. This study aimed to reveal the variety of moss around the Syamsudin Noor International Airport area. This research uses the purposive sampling method. Measurement of environmental parameters includes air temperature, light intensity, humidity, and soil pH. Moss identification refers to the book A Handbook of Malesian Mosses volume 1 Sphagnales to Dicranales and A Handbook of Malesian Mosses volume 2 Leucobryaceae to Buxbaumiaceae. The moss morphological characters observed included the leaves, stems, an

Résumé :
A diverse assemblage of mosses from the Early Cretaceous Catefica mesofossil flora, Portugal, is described based on fragments of charcoalified and lignitized gametophytes and a single spore capsule. Nine different gametophyte morphologies are recognized and assigned to Sphagnopsida, Polytrichopsida and Bryopsida. None of the fossils can be included in any extant species. Four species have character combinations not known in any extant genera and are accommodated in three new genera as Chlorosphagnum cateficense gen. et sp. nov. (Sphagnales, family incertae sedis), Physcidium tortuosum gen. et

Résumé :
Until now, a complete checklist of Sphagnum-dwelling testate amoebae in Bulgaria has never been published. Records for species diversity and distribution in the country were scattered in many faunistic and ecological publications. The aim of the present study is to summarise all data for the species distribution at the level of country by reviewing the existing literature and by additional data obtained in our research over the past two years. The checklist comprises 171 species, classified into 43 genera, 20 families, three orders, three classes and three phyla. We present data for 16

Résumé :
Testate amoebae are a polyphyletic group of unicellular eukaryotic organisms that are characterised by a rigid shell and inhabit mostly freshwater and terrestrial ecosystems. They are particularly abundant in peatlands, especially in Sphagnum-dominated biotopes. Peatland hydrology is the most important influence on testate amoebae communities. The good preservation of the shells in peat deposits and their response to hydrological regime changes are the principles for palaeohydrological reconstructions. Any changes in the water balance of mires should be expected to have far-reaching eff

Résumé :
Research on biodiversity of bryophyta around Syamsudin Noor International airport has never been reported. The study purposed the types of mosses around the Syamsudin Noor International Airport. A purposive sampling method was used to collect bryophyta and then environmental parameters were directly measured in the field. Moss identification referred to the book A Handbook of Malesian Mosses volume 1 Sphagnales to Dicranales and volume 2 Leucobryaceae to Buxbaumiaceae. Morphological characteristics of mosses were observed at leaf parts, stem, and rhizoids. The results showed 7 species of mosse
