The paper explores various levels of development across Slovak tourism regions. The main objective is to identify the six most developed tourism regions in Slovakia. Hierarchical cluster analysis was used as the primary tool for assessing the level of tourism development. Several indicators reflecting the level of tourism development in Slovak regions were applied in the analysis. Brevoort and updated by KTA-Tator, Inc. in 1996 (1) provided a table of projected service life based largely on a survey of coating manufacturers.
