Résumé :

This article describes the early medieval ethnopolitical history of Chach, which deals with the participation of nomadic peoples and their influence on the political life of Central Asia. As a result of the collapse of the Kangju state, the first independent state arose in the Chach region, which played an important role in the political, economic and cultural life of the region until the formation of the Kükturk Khaganate. In the administration of the khaganate, it became an important point of the “TurkSogdian symbiosis”.

Several phytogeographic regions (Cerrado, Pantanal, Atlantic Forest, Gran Chaco, and Chiquitano Dry Forests) converge in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil, and influence regional biodiversity. Pseudoryzomys simplex (Winge, 1887) is a widely distributed rodent in South America, yet it is difficult to capture. In Brazil, it occurs in open areas such as the Chaco, Cerrado, and Caatinga. In the present study, using analyses of owl pellets, we extend the distribution of this species by more than 400 km to southeastern Minas Gerais state, Brazil. This is the first record in the state from the Atlantic Forest and the first record from the municipality of Carangola, which has a Semidecidual Seasonal Forest phytophysiognomy.

We present herein the first record of Euryzygomatomys spinosus (G. Fischer, 1814) in the Brazilian Cerrado, based on two adult male specimens collected in a “campo limpo” (dry grassland) area at Sempre Vivas National Park, state of Minas Gerais, southeastern Brazil, in June and August 2014. This taxon was previously known only from the Brazilian Pampas, Paraguayan Chaco Humedo and Atlantic Forest of southeastern and southern Brazil, northeastern Argentina and southern Paraguay. Our records increased the species geographic range 250 km northward, into the Cerrado ecoregion.

Austrolebias Costa is a genus of annual fish inhabiting temporary wetlands in the Chaco-Pampasic region of southern Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia and Argentina (Costa, 2006, Nielsen & Pillet, 2015, Alonso et al., 2016). Currently, about 45 species of Austrolebias are known (Costa, 2006, Volcan et al., 2014, Nielsen & Pillet, 2015), and of these, 24 occur in Rio Grande do Sul, the southernmost state of Brazil, distributed across the Rio Uruguay basin and the Patos-Mirim lagoon system and adjacent coastal areas (Volcan et al., 2015).
