This case study examines the negotiation process in a labor dispute between a union of public transportation companies and the Labor Public Prosecutor's Office (MPT) in southern Brazil. After being sentenced to pay collective moral damages, the union employed integrative negotiation techniques to reach a mutually beneficial agreement, allocating the payment to victims of floods in Rio Grande do Sul.
