Résumé :

Continuous Changing of human lifestyles has consistently added different notorious anthropogenic pollutants into aquatic matrices. Exterminating these toxic pollutants is feasible using adsorption studies instead of the traditional water purification methods. The purpose of this study was to investigate the adsorption of Cr (VI) ion from aqueous using Unmodified Desert Date (UDD) Peels as a low-cost adsorbent and composite with multi-walled carbon nanotubes (UDDC). A batch adsorption experiment was conducted to evaluate the maximum quantity adsorbed of Cr (VI) ions from an aqueous medium under various conditions. The Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) revealed 3448.84 cm-1 and 3441.12 cm-1 which corresponds to O-H stretching vibration modes for UDD and UDDC and 1620.26 cm-1 relates to C=O stretching vibrations for both UDD and UDDC respectively. The maximum adsorption capacity (qe) is found to be 114.11 and 741.14 (mg/g) for UDD and UDDC respectively. The results showed that UDDC has a large adsorption capacity due to its higher surface area. The adsorption data were fitted well into Langmuir with correlation coefficient (R2) values close to unity 0.9076 and 0.9069 for UDD and UDDC respectively. Kinetic studies showed a good correlation coefficient pseudo-second-order kinetic model fitted very well into UDD and UDDC with (R2) values 0.9173 and 0.9943 respectively. The results indicated that UDDC could be used as a potential adsorbent for the adsorption of Cr (VI) ions from an aqueous solution

Six 'Chinese Spring' – Aegilops umbellulata Zhuk. addition lines (UAD, UBD, UCD, UDD, UED, and UFM) were assayed for their effects on the fertility of timopheevi cytoplasm male sterile lines (T-type). Chromosome 6U of disomic addition line UAD was found to be able to restore the fertility of T-type male sterility and 'Chinese Spring' was verified to lack restoring genes, indicating that 6U carries at least one fertility restoration gene. From about 200 plants with 42 somatic chromosomes derived from the progeny of crosses Qu Xian Early A × UAD and Sumai No. 3 A × UAD, eight self-fertile plants were selected. Their self-fertility in timopheevi cytoplasm implies that they carry the restoring gene(s) from 6U. Cytological analysis was conducted on the hybrid F1 of the selected fertile plants (040-5, 060-1, and 061-4) as female parents crossed with 'Chinese Spring'. The self-fertility segregation and the chromosome pairing of pollen mother cells of F1 fertile plants from 040-5, 060-1, and 061-4 × 'Chinese Spring' during meiosis suggested that they were heterozygous translocation lines with restoring gene(s) from 6U.Key words: Aegilops umbellulata Zhuk., restoring genes, alien gene transfer, timopheevi cytoplasmic male sterile fertility, Triticum aestivum L.

Résumé :

Abstract Background Epidemiological studies demonstrate an association between diabetes and low neuromuscular strength (NMS). However, none have grouped participants into nondiabetics (ND), undiagnosed diabetics (UDD), controlled diabetics (CD), and uncontrolled diabetics (UCD) or investigated what glycated hemoglobin levels (HbA1c) are associated with low NMS (dynapenia) by sex. Methods We analyzed the association between UDD, CD, and UCD and dynapenia, the extent to which the different groupings of these individuals modifies this association and the association between HbA1c levels and NMS, by sex, in a cross-sectional study involving 5,290 participants ≥50 years from the ELSA study. In the first two analyses, logistic regression models were used with dynapenia (grip strength <26 kg in men and <16 kg in women) as outcome and diabetes (ND, UDD, CD, and UCD) as exposure. Next, linear regression was performed with grip strength as the outcome, and the participants were classified based on HbA1c level as exposure. The models were adjusted by sociodemographic, behavioral, and clinical characteristics. Results Compared to ND, only UCD was associated with dynapenia (men OR = 2.37 95% CI 1.36–4.14; women OR = 1.67 95% CI 1.01–2.79). This association was less clear, particularly in women, when CD and UCD groups were merged. HbA1c ≥6.5% in men and ≥8.0% in women were associated with lower NMS. Conclusions UCD increases the chance of dynapenia in both sexes. The different groupings based on diabetes status modify the association between UCD and dynapenia. The threshold of HbA1c associated with reduced NMS is lower in men compared to women.

Abstrak Latar belakang: Unit Dose Dispensing (UDD) adalah metode pelayanan farmasi dimana sediaan obat oral dan injeksi pada pasien diberikan dalam bentuk dosis tunggal. Kelebihan dari metode UDD adalah terdapat profil pengecekan obat untuk pasien sehingga insiden medication error tahap dispensing dapat dihindarkan atau dikoreksi terlebih dahulu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan dispensing error di ruangan dengan sistem UDD dan non UDD di RSM Ahmad Dahlan Kediri.Metode: Penelitian ini bersifat observasi analitik studi komparasi dengan desain cross-sectional pada unit rawat inap dengan sistem UDD dan Non UDD di RSM Ahmad Dahlan Kediri selama periode 15-17 November 2018.Hasil: Didapatkan jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 336 sampel dengan distribusi 147 (43,2%) sampel dari ruang Non UDD dan 189 (56,8%) sampel dari ruangan UDD. Terjadi dispensing error pada 58 sampel yaitu sebanyak 39 (67%) sampel di ruang Non UDD dan 19 (33%) sampel di ruang UDD. Dispensing error meliputi pemberian etiket yang tidak lengkap sebanyak 40 (69%) kejadian, adanya pemberian obat di luar instruksi sebanyak 15 (24%) kejadian, dan omission atau obat yang kurang sebanyak 4 (7%) kejadian. Pada uji chi-square didapatkan p-value 0,009 (<0,05) yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna pada kejadian dispensing error di ruangan dengan sistem UDD dan Non UDD.Kesimpulan: Medication error pada fase dispensing di unit rawat inap dengan sistem UDD lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan unit rawat inap dengan sistem Non UDD.Kata kunci: Dispensing error, Unit Dose Dispensing (UDD), FarmasiAbstractBackground: Unit Dose Dispensing (UDD) is a pharmaceutical service method wherein oral and injection preparations in patients are given in the form of a single dose. The advantage of the UDD method is that there is a profile of drug checking for patients so that the incidence of medication errors in the dispensing phase can be avoided or corrected first. This study was aimed to determine the comparison of dispensing errors in the ward with the UDD and non UDD systems at Ahmad Dahlan Kediri Hospital.Method: This research is analytical observation comparative study with cross-sectional design in the ward with a system of UDD and Non UDD in Ahmad Dahlan Muhammadiyah Hospital Kediri for the period November 15-17th 2018.Result: There were 336 total samples with 147 (43.2%) distribution from Non-UDD ward and 189 (56.8%) from UDD ward. There were 58 dispensing errors namely 39 (67%) samples in the Non-UDD ward and 19 (33%) samples in the UDD ward. Dispensing errors include the administration of incomplete etiquette of 40 (69%) samples, the presence of drugs outside the instructions of 15 (24%) samples, and omission or less of drugs of 4 (7%) samples. In the chi-square test the p-value is 0.009 (<0.05) which means that there were significant differences in dispensing error in the UDD and Non-UDD ward.Conclusion: Dispensing error in the ward with UDD system is lower compared to the ward with Non-UDD system.Key words: Dispensing error, Unit Dose Dispensing (UDD), Pharmacy

Résumé :

Radiation protection ability of the ultra-disperse nanodiamonds (UDD) is studied based on the measurements of dielectric permittivity of red blood cells (RBC) affected by cancer. Wistar rats with Guerin's carcinoma were treated by X-ray 5.8 Gy. Some rats received UDD with food during 5 days prior to the X-ray. The groups with UDD, X-ray, and both UDD and X-ray treatments were compared to the control group. The complex dielectric permittivity of the RBC was measured by microwave dielectrometry. It was shown, tumor development leads to the increase in the dielectric permittivity and relaxation frequency. The irradiation promotes further growth of the parameters, while UDD uptake leads to insignificant changes in comparison to the control group. Therefore, UDD occur the radioprotective effect promoting repair, compensation and restoration of body tissues that is demonstrated by normalization of the dielectric parameters of RBC.

Background/Aim. Uncomplicated diverticular disease (UDD) is a frequent condition in adults. The pathogenesis of symptoms remains unknown. Bacteria are able to interact with Toll-like receptors (TLRs) and to induce inflammation through both innate immunity and T-cell recruitment. We investigated the pattern of TLRs 2 and 4 and the intestinal homing in patients with UDD before and after a course of Rifaximin.Methods. Forty consecutive patients with UDD and 20 healthy asymptomatic subjects were enrolled. Among UDD patients, 20 were assigned to a 2-month course of treatment with Rifaximin 1.2 g/day for 15 days/month and 20 received placebo. Blood sample and colonic biopsies were obtained from patients and controls. The samples were collected and analyzed at baseline and at the end of treatment. Flow cytometry was performed using monoclonal antibodies (CD3, CD4, CD8, CD103, TCR-gamma/delta, CD14, TLR2, and TLR4).Results. In UDD, TLR2 and TLR4 expression on immune cell subpopulations from blood and mucosa of the affected colon are altered as compared with controls. Rifaximin treatment induced significant modifications of altered conditions.Conclusions. Our data show the role of TLRs in the development of inflammation in UDD. TLRs distribution is altered in UDD and these alterations are reversed after antibiotic treatment. This trial is registered with ClinicalTrials.gov:NCT02068482.

BackgroundDepression in the context of bipolar disorder (BDd) is often misdiagnosed as unipolar disorder depression (UDd) leading to poor clinical outcomes for many bipolar sufferers. We examined neural circuitry supporting emotion regulation in females with either BDd or UDd as a first stage toward identifying biomarkers that may differentiate BDd from UDd.MethodFifty-seven females aged 18–45 years participated in this study: 23 with UDd, 18 with bipolar disorder type I depression (BDId) and 16 healthy females. During 3-T functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), the participants performed an emotional face n-back (EFNBACK) task, that is an n-back task with high (2-back) and low (0-back) memory load conditions flanked by two positive, negative or neutral face distracters. This paradigm examines executive control with emotional distracters–emotion regulation.ResultsHigh memory load with neutral face distracters elicited greater bilateral and left dorsal anterior midcingulate cortex (dAMCC) activity in UDd than in healthy and BDId females respectively, and greater bilateral putamen activity in both depressed groups versus healthy females. High memory load with happy face distracters elicited greater left putamen activity in UDd than in healthy females. Psychotropic medication was associated with greater putamen activity to these contrasts in UDd females.ConclusionsDuring high memory load with neutral face distracters, elevated dAMCC activity in UDd suggests abnormal recruitment of attentional control circuitry to maintain task performance, whereas elevated putamen activity unrelated to psychotropic medication in BDId females may suggest an attentional bias toward ambiguous neutral face distracters. Differential patterns of functional abnormalities in neural circuitry supporting attentional control during emotion regulation, especially in the dAMCC, is a promising neuroimaging measure to distinguish UDd from BDId in females.

UDD PMI Kota Semarang berkewajiban memberikan pelayanan berkualitas sesuai dengan harapan pendonor. Di masa pandemi Covid-19, semua aspek layanan masyarakat terdampak tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis dampak pandemi Covid-19 terhadap pasokan darah dan kualitas layanan pendonor darah. Metode yang digunakan ialah penelitian deskriptif observasional melalui pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel diambil dengan teknik accidental sampling terhadap terhadap 85 responden yang bersedia mengisi angket secara online yang dilakukan selama periode penelitian. Pandemi Covid-19 menyebabkan penurunan pasokan darah di UDD PMI kota Semarang sebesar 25% pada periode 4 bulan pertama pasca pandemi terjadi di Indonesia. Responden yang merupakan pendonor darah di UDD PMI kota Semarang berjumlah didominasi laki-laki sebanyak 67% dengan usia terbanyak di rentang 31-40 tahun (sebanyak 32%) dan berstatus sebagai donor darah sukarela (74%). Pendonor cenderung menilai baik pelayanan yang berorientasi pada variable kualitas pelayanan di UDD PMI Kota Semarang. Pandemi menyebabkan penurunan pasokan darah di UDD PMI Kota Semarang. Meskipun begitu pendonor darah secara umum menilai kualitas layanan pendonor yang diberikan oleh UDD PMI Kota Semarang di masa pandemic Covid -19 dinilai baik pada kelima variabel yaitu kehandalan, daya tanggap, jaminan, empati dan bukti fisik. Perlu adanya upaya untuk meningkatkan minat masyarakat untuk berdonor di masa pandemic Covid-19.

Résumé :

This study analyzes the tribological performance of the test results of the journal bearing wear tester designed for the simulation of the toggle pin motion in the plastics injection molding machine. Grease with or without the addition of ultra-dispersed nanodiamond (UDD) particles were all tested in the durability tests. It showed that the grease with UDD additive could effectively extend the life of grease more than twice as long as the grease life without UDD additive in the reciprocating heavy-load and low-speed journal bearing tests.

Résumé :

Pengambilan darah merupakan salah satu proses krusial dalam pelayanan darah di UDD PMI karena dapat berpengaruh terhadap mutu produk darah. Rendahnya kualitas udara di ruang Aftap dapat menyebabkan kontaminasi produk darah serta timbulnya infeksi nosokomial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kontaminasi bakteri pada ruang Aftap UDD PMI Kota Yogyakarta berdasarkan jumlah koloni bakteri yang tumbuh pada media agar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Pre Eksperiment dengan rancangan penelitian The Posttest Only Design yaitu hasil observasi memberikan informasi yang bersifat deskriptif. Sampel diambil menggunakan metode quota sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah media agar PCA yang diletakkan dalam ruang Aftap UDD PMI Kota Yogyakarta dengan penentuan titik sampling menggunakan metode settling plate pada 5 titik dalam ruangan. Hasil dari penelitian didapatkan pertumbuhan koloni bakteri pada semua cawan petri dengan hasil perhitungan tingkat kontaminasi bakteri sebesar 191,27 CFU/m³. Konsentrasi bakteri aerob di ruang Aftap UDD PMI kota Yogyakarta sebesar 191, 27 CFU/m³ yang artinya tidak melebihi standar Kepmenkes No. 1204/Menkes/SK/X/2004. Disimpulkan bahwa kualitas udara di ruang Aftap UDD PMI Kota Yogyakarta cukup baik dan terjaga. Hasil perhitungan jumlah koloni bakteri tidak melebihi standar Kepmenkes No. 1204/Menkes/SK/X/2004, yaitu untuk indeks maksimum angka kuman udara ruang Laboratorium adalah 200-500 CFU/m³.

Det är lagstadgat att arbetsgivaren är skyldig att bedriva ett systematiskt arbetsmiljöarbete (SAM) för att sänka riskerna för ohälsa och olycksfall i verksamheten. Mycket tyder på att detta inte fungerar tillfredställande i många skolor. Denna fallstudie syftar till att kartlägga och synliggöra hur det systematiska arbetsmiljöarbetet organiserats i två utvalda kommunala grundskolor. Det övergripande syftet i studien var att belysa faktorer och mekanismer som kan motverka ett lyckat införande av ett fungerande arbetsmiljöarbete. De frågeställningar vi haft var om kommunernas organisering av arbetsmiljöarbetet uppfyller lagstiftningens krav och hur uppföljningen och kontrollen sker. Studien har genomförts genom analys av kommunernas styrdokument samt genom en enkät kombinerad med uppföljande intervjuer av nyckelpersoner i verksamheterna. Resultat visar att de båda grundskolornas arbetsmiljöarbete organiserats och bedrivs på ett likartat sätt och att arbetsmiljöproblemen till stor del är likartade. Bilden är samstämmig från de båda verksamheterna att organiseringen inte förmår att fånga upp och hantera alla betydande risker. Slutsatserna från studien är att det finns bristande arbetsmiljökunskap hos alla aktörer som har uppgifter i arbetsmiljöarbetet.
Swedish employers are obliged by law to systematically plan, direct and control activities so that the working environment meets the prescribed requirements. However, evidence indicates that this work is not performed satisfactorily in many schools. This case study aims at mapping out and clarifying how measures towards planning, directing and controlling activities are organized in two public compulsory schools. The overall purpose of the study is to shed light on elements and conditions that hinder a successful implementation of work environment measures. Our main research questions are: Does the way the municipalities have organized the working environment measures reach the requirements in the law and how controls and follow-ups are performed. Data was collected through the municipalities’ steering documents together with a survey in combination with follow-up interviews with key figures. Results show that the working environment measures in both schools are organized and performed in similar ways and that the problems reported to a large extent are the same. The unanimous picture shows an organization that is not capable of identifying and handling all important risks. Conclusions from the study indicate that there is a lack of knowledge concerning working environments measures on all levels in the organizations.

Résumé :

Dieser Beitrag gibt einen Überblick über wissenschaftlich untersuchte Zusammenhänge zwischen funktionaler und persönlicher (Lohn)Einkommensverteilung, der aggregierten Nachfrage und dem Wirtschaftswachstum. Zudem werden die Ergebnisse einer ökonometrischen Schätzung dieses Zusammenhanges für die USA für die Jahre 1967 - 2010 präsentiert. Aus den theoretischen Überlegungen und empirischen Untersuchungen zeigt sich, dass eine ungleichere Verteilung von Lohneinkommen zu geringerem Wirtschaftswachstum führt und dass bei einer gleicheren Verteilung von Lohneinkommen die Umverteilung hin zu Löhnen generell wachstumsfördernd ist.

This paper presents the main features of the UDD (Unità Didattica Digitale), a new operational model developed specifically for language teaching in e-learning. In particular, we will focus on how this model can be used to develop lexical competence, the features of which will be briefly defined, mainly by referring to the different phases envisaged in the teaching plan. The paper will then illustrate the possibilities that the UDD model offers for activating and supporting the development of lexical competence, the types of activities that can be carried out and in which ways the model can be used, highlighting the positive aspects and the critical issues still to be resolved.

ZusammenfassungGlobale Nachrichten über Klimawandel, Finanzkrisen und Umwälzungen in verschiedenen Ländern und die zunehmende Ausprägung städtischer Phänomene wie Verdrängung und Segregation verunsichern die zivilgesellschaftliche Bevölkerung und führen zu Reaktionen entlang von Rückzug und Protest. In städtischen Räumen lässt sich eine zunehmende Selbstorganisation der Zivilgesellschaft in Form von Nachbarschaftsinitiativen und -vereinen konstatieren, die sich als Akteur*innen der Stadtentwicklung positionieren. Dabei entwickeln und treiben sie ihre eigenen Konzepte und Lösungsansätze für gesellschaftliche und stadtentwicklungspolitische Fragestellungen voran und fordern ihr Recht auf Mit- und Selbstbestimmung ein, unter gleichzeitiger Wahrung ihrer Autonomie und Unabhängigkeit. Die raumbezogene Soziale Arbeit ist über unterschiedliche Handlungsfelder in die Planung und Entwicklung von Quartieren eingewoben und muss sich in dieser Rekonstituierung einer local governance neu positionieren. Der Beitrag zeigt anhand einer qualitativen Studie in Berlin Kreuzberg auf, welche Potenziale sich durch einen kooperativen Handlungsansatz ergeben, wie dieser gestaltet werden kann, und welche Herausforderungen und Chancen sich daraus für die beteiligten Akteur*innen ergeben. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass der kooperative Ansatz eine hohe Reaktionsfähigkeit, Flexibilität und Pragmatismus, aber auch das Aufgeben eines Steuerungsanspruchs benötigt, sowie die Kompetenz, mit unterschiedlichen Rationalitäten und Logiken der vielfältigen Akteur*innen umzugehen. Dadurch können neue Perspektiven, innovative Praktiken und Veränderungen ermöglicht und gefördert werden.

ZusammenfassungIn den letzten Jahrzehnten hat sich ein Verständnis von Schulentwicklung herausgebildet, dem zufolge verschiedene Akteurinnen und Akteure des Bildungssystems vermehrt kooperativ Entwicklungsprojekte zu initiieren haben und die Unterrichtsentwicklung sowie insbesondere das Lernen der Schülerinnen und Schüler als Ausgangs- und Zielpunkt von Entwicklungstätigkeiten aufgefasst werden (siehe Kapitel 2). Diese Merkmale eignen sich auch für die Beschreibung von Unterrichts- und Schulentwicklung in Richtung personalisierten Lernens: Schulteams passen Lernumgebungen an die personalen Voraussetzungen der Schülerinnen und Schüler an und erarbeiten Lernangebote für den Aufbau fachlicher und überfachlicher Kompetenzen, in deren Rahmen selbstgesteuertes und eigenverantwortliches Lernen möglich ist und Lehrpersonen wie auch die Lerngemeinschaft bildend wirken (siehe Kapitel 1). ZusammenfassungIm Dialog mit Akteuren der Landnutzung wurden die Leitmotive Klimaschutz, Bioenergieerzeugung, Umwelt- und Naturschutz und Klimaanpassung herausgearbeitet und anschließend in Landnutzungsstrategien untersucht sowie die möglichen Beiträge dieser Landnutzungsstrategien zu gesellschaftlichen Zielen geprüft. Die Szenarienstudie CC-LandStraD fokussiert auf Vermeidungsstrategien des Klimawandels. Betrachtete Klimaszenarien illustrieren die Unsicherheit zukünftiger Entwicklungen. Die Wirkungen ausgewählter Maßnahmen und Landnutzungsstrategien wurden mit Hilfe eines interdisziplinären Modellverbundes im Rahmen eines komparativ-statischen Vergleichs untersucht, und zwar für die Landnutzungssektoren Siedlung und Verkehr sowie Land- und Forstwirtschaft. Anschließend wurden Maßnahmen gebündelt und zu Strategien zusammengefasst und die Wirkungen regional differenziert im Hinblick auf Änderungen der Flächennutzung, land- und forstwirtschaftlicher Produktion und Einkommen sowie Simulation von Waldbeständen sowie Stoffflüssen ausgewertet.

Résumé :

The results of investigations of the anodic processes of electrodeposition of nickel, nickel-boron alloy, composite coatings nickel-ultrafine diamond and nickel-cobalt-aluminum oxide are presented. It was shown that the oxidation of the boron-containing additive occurs at potentials much more positive than the oxidation potential of nickel, which means that oxidation of the boron compound is impossible under real conditions of electrodeposition. During the electrodeposition of CEC, the anode process proceeds without any complications and the dissolution of the anodes occurs in the same way as in nickel-plating electrolytes, and the composite additives of UDD and Al2O3 do not affect the anodic processes.

Conventional heat transfer fluids such as water, ethylene glycol, and mineral oil, that are used widely in industry suffer from low thermal conductivity. On the other hand, diamond has shown exceptional thermal properties with a thermal conductivity higher than five times of copper and about zero electrical conductivity. To investigate the effectiveness of nanodiamond particles in traditional heat transfer fluids, we study deaggregated ultra-dispersed diamonds (UDD) using X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Furthermore, nanodiamond nanofluids were prepared at different concentrations in deionized (DI) water as the base fluid. Particle size distribution was investigated using TEM and the average particle size have been reported around 6 nm. The thermal conductivity of nanofluids was measured at different concentrations and temperatures. The results indicate up to 15% enhancement in thermal conductivity compared with the base fluid and thermal conductivity increases with temperature and particle loading. The viscosity raise in the samples have been negligible.

OBJETIVOS: Explorar la salud mental de los hombres y mujeres que hacen uso sexualizado de drogas (Chemsex) MATERIAL Y METODOS : Participantes: 1.181 personas entre 18 y 78 años (edad media = 24,47, DE = 7,47). (n = 795, 67%) mujeres, (n = 382, 32%) hombres, y (n = 4, <1%) no binarias. Medidas: Subescalas de depresión y ansiedad del Inventario Breve de Síntomas (BSI; Derogatis &Fitzpatrick, 2004). Procedimiento Encuesta transversal anónima autoadministrada en línea de febrero a mayo de 2021, con 2.293 visitas. La tasa de respuesta fue del 51,50% (N = 1181). Se invitó a participar a mujeres y hombres heterosexuales con edad igual o superior a 18 años. Criterios de inclusión : tener mínimo 18 años; ser hombre, mujer o persona no binaria heterosexual sexualmente activa; y haber residido la mayor parte de los últimos 24 meses en el territorio español. RESULTADOS Analizamos si el UDS se asocia a los resultados de salud mental (síntomas de depresión y ansiedad). Aquellos participantes que consumían drogas con fines sexuales presentaron puntuaciones significativamente más altas en depresión que aquellos que no consumían. La ansiedad de los participantes no difirió significativamente con respecto a involucrarse o no en el USD. No hubo diferencias significativas entre mujeres y varones que practican USD en depresión o ansiedad CONCLUSIONES: Este es uno de los primeros estudios en analizar el USD entre mujeres y varones heterosexuales. ‣ El USD en personas heterosexuales está significativamente relacionado con síntomas de depresión. ‣ Resulta necesario diseñar programas de identificación, educación y prevención específicos que reduzcan la incidencia de las consecuencias más indeseables del USD tanto en hombres como en mujeres, independientemente de su orientación sexual. Asimismo, promover un abordaje centrado en las necesidades de salud mental de los que hacen USD.

Strong impedance contrasts between lithological boundaries, such as the top of the layered evaporite sequence (LES) and various intervals within the heterogeneous LES, generate strong multiple reflections that mask the subsalt target at the reservoir level. Additionally, the halokinesis creates illumination effects in the pre-salt section. Existing legacy seismic data in the area, primarily from towed-streamer acquisitions, suffers from poor imaging, heavy multiple contamination, and a lack of illumination as the complex subsurface scatters much of the wavefront energy before it penetrates deeper pre-salt targets. We performed extensive survey design and modelling (SDM) studies accounting for the challenges in the Gulf of Suez and completed simulations of different acquisition programs to evaluate the best parameters to solve these challenges. SDM studies confirmed that the long-offset, wide-azimuth, and high-fold attributes of an ocean-bottom node (OBN) acquisition coupled with a short, towed-streamer acquisition for near offsets would overcome these challenges to deliver improved images of the pre-salt target. Hence, in 2020, we executed the first ever combined OBN and towed-streamer acquisition in the Gulf of Suez, acquiring suitable data in the presence of the various obstructions including shipping lanes, platforms and pipelines that are common in this area. We present the challenges faced and our innovative use of existing seismic data processing technologies to maximize the potential of the inherent benefits of the full-azimuth, longer offset, higher fold and multi-component data recorded by the OBN acquisition. The up-down deconvolution (UDD) technique was used to attenuate surface multiples. As almost all the layers from the water bottom to the salt body are considered as strong multiple generators, internal multiples were also a significant challenge, and hence both short towed-streamer and OBN data were used to predict the internal multiples using all major multiple generators in the prediction process. The earth model building was performed using a cascaded top-down approach. Full-waveform inversion updates were interleaved with common-image point tomography updates, to define the shallow sediments, evaporite section and pre-salt target. Integration of the data available; OBN, streamer, gravity, magnetics, near field and well data was key to the success of the earth model building process. Comparing the final results with the legacy seismic image available, we observed that the OBN data substantially improved the imaging of pre-salt structure, stratigraphy, rotated fault blocks and dipping strata of the pre-rift and syn-rift reservoirs. Dip-meter data in the surrounding wells validated the steeper dips. The OBN image, combined with the short towed-streamer data, provides new insights into the pre-salt target and opens avenues to re-explore mature and prolific areas of the Gulf of Suez.

Naturgefahrenereignisse betreffen die mit dem Vollzug der Gefahrenprävention beauftragten Organisationen unmittelbar. Sie sind einerseits in die Bewältigung der Ereignisse involviert und andererseits zeigen die Ereignisse auf, ob die bisherigen Vorstellungen, Beurteilungen und Massnahmen adäquat und hinreichend sind. Die Vollzugsorganisationen von Bund und Kanton haben unterschiedliche Rollen und Aufgaben. Im Beitrag werden wichtige Ereignisse der letzten Jahrzehnte und daraus erfolgte Lehren sowie Anpassungen und Entwicklungen aus der Sicht des Kanton Nidwalden und des Bundes aufgezeigt. Im Weiteren werden die gegenseitigen Beeinflussungen zwischen Kanton und Bund, sowie die Verbreitung der Erfahrungen betrachtet. Schliesslich werden Erfolgsfaktoren und Grenzen sowie Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten und Herausforderungen erörtert.

Es besteht aus ökonomischer Sicht Konsens darüber, dass ein hinreichender Verbraucherschutz nicht allein durch eine wirksame Wettbewerbspolitik unter dem Ziel der Begrenzung des Missbrauchs von Marktmacht zulasten von Verbrauchern erreicht werden kann. Weit weniger einheitlich fallen jedoch die ökonomischen Begründungen zur Rechtfertigung einer eigenständigen staatlichen Verbraucherschutzpolitik aus. Für eine Erklärung des Verbraucherverhaltens und einer daraus abgeleiteten Rechtfertigung staatlichen Verbraucherschutzes wurde in der Vergangenheit standardmäßig auf den Ansatz der Informationsökonomik zurückgegriffen. Der Sachverhalt, dass ein allein informationsökonomisch fundierter Verbraucherschutz in den zurückliegenden Jahren jedoch wiederholt kritisiert wurde, verweist auf die Notwendigkeit zu einer breiter angelegten theoretischen Fundierung staatlicher Verbraucherpolitik. Vor diesem Hintergrund zielt der Beitrag auf eine Erweiterung der Betrachtungsperspektive einer ökonomisch fundierten Verbraucherpolitik unter Rückgriff auf institutionenökonomische ebenso wie verhaltensökonomische Überlegungen, die in ihrem jeweiligen Erkenntnisgewinn zugleich einander gegenübergestellt werden sollen. Dabei werden sowohl die Gemeinsamkeiten beider Ansätze als auch deren Unterschiede in der Begründung staatlichen Verbraucherschutzes und dessen maßnahmenbezogener Ausgestaltung herausgearbeitet.

Résumé :

Die vorliegende Studie „Bestandsaufnahme der Kooperation und Vernetzung österreichischer und nordamerikanischer Forschender, FTI-Stakeholder und -Institutionen“ wurde gemeinsam vom ZSI und der WWTF GmbH im Zeitraum zwischen Mitte Dezember 2021 und Anfang April 2022 durchgeführt. Der Studienzweck, der sich eng an den in der Ausschreibung zugrunde gelegten Terms of Reference durch das Ministerium für Bildung, Wissenschaft und Forschung orientierte, bestand im Wesentlichen aus einer Bestandsaufnahme der Kooperation und Vernetzung österreichischer und nordamerikanischer Forschender, FTI-Stakeholder und –Institutionen und der Analyse der Wirkungen des ASciNA1-Awards mit Fokus auf die Karriereentwicklung der ASciNA-Preisträger:innen und deren Einschätzungen des Awards. Die Studie bietet eine umfassende Beschreibung der für die Internationalisierung von Wissenschaft und Forschung genutzten Instrumente zwischen Österreich und Nordamerika, sowie davon abgeleitete ergänzende Netzwerkdarstellungen in einem extra online-Dashboard zur besseren graphischen Nachvollziehbarkeit der bestehenden wesentlichen individuellen und institutionellen transatlantischen Beziehungen und Verflechtungen. Die Studie erfasst den aktuellen Stand von 110 Aktivitäten. Der Erfassungszeitraum der Daten auf aggregierter sowie Individualebene umfasst, sofern nicht anders ausgewiesen, die Jahre 2013-2020.
