The paper deals with industry analysis of winegrowing and wine-production in Bulgaria and in the Czech Republic. The analysis is more focused on winegrowing and wine-production in Bulgaria with the aim to present the less known information. The annual production of wine in Bulgaria amounts for about 2 million hectoliters, being mostly proce- ssed by industrial producers, even though the area of productive vineyards is decreasing by almost 33% to the level of 100 000 hectares. Czech Republic has a lower area of vineyards than Bulgaria, and thanks to the higher yields per hectare it produces abou

Organizations must plan and start executing that plan today if they expect to achieve their objectives sometime in the future. Yet surveys indicate that this just is not happening.

Résumé :
In recent years there has been a growing concern over the performance of Israel and U.S. agricultural marketing organizations. In Israel, poor performance of some marketing institutions has led to radical reforms. Examples are the two leading export industries - citrus and flowers. In the U.S., growth of local market power is eliminating competitive row product prices which served as the basis for farmer cooperative payment plans. This research studies, theoretically, several aspects of the above problem and develops empirical methods to assess their relative importance. The theoretical part d

Résumé :
As the transition to a net zero global economy takes hold, there will be new opportunities for growth across a wide range of urban industries and services. City governments in sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia need to proactively plan how they will leverage this to deliver on local productivity and job creation objectives.

Résumé :
This paper surveys four Argentinean industrieslight ships, television programs, wines, and wooden furniturethat have experienced substantial export growth in recent years, particularly to developed countries. The case studies first describe the structure of the industries, then characterize the emergence of export pioneers and the subsequent process of diffusion. Finally, they analyze the role played by public institutions. Across sectors, the appearance of a pioneer is largely explained by a knowledge advantage relative to other industry participants regarding foreign markets, which the pione

Résumé :
This deliverable report focuses on the final stochastic optimization results obtained within the EXAscale Quantification of Uncertainties for Technology and Science Simulation (ExaQUte) project. Details on a novel wind inlet generator that is able to incorporate local wind-field data through a deep-learned rapid distortion model and generates the turbulent wind data during run-time is presented in section 2. Section 3 presents the results of the overall stochastic optimization procedure applied to a twisted tapered tower with multiple design parameters within an uncertain synthetic wind field.
