The article presents simplified queuing system model of freight marine port. The article discusses the basic elements of queuing system, its mathematical solution and structure. Simulation model was created using AnyLogic to analyze an effect of system capacity on queue length. The results were analyzed and the solution for queue optimization was proposed. The paper deals with the problem of traffic light control of road intersection. The authors use a model of a real road junction created in the AnyLogic modelling tool. For two scenarios, there are three simulation experiments performed ? fixed time control, fixed time control after AnyLogic-based optimizations, and dynamic control obtained through the cooperation of the AnyLogic tool and the Bonsai platform, utilizing benefits of deep reinforcement learning. At present, there are trends to simplify machine learning processes as much as possible to make them accessible to practitioners with no artificial intelligence background and without the need to become data scientists. Project Bonsai represents an easy-to-use connector, that allows to use AnyLogic models connected to the Bonsai platform - a novel approach to machine learning without the need to set any hyper-parameters. Due to unavailability of real operational data, the model uses simulation data only, with presence and movement of vehicles only (no pedestrians). The optimization problem consists in minimizing the average time that agents (vehicles) must spend in the model, passing the modelled intersection. Another observed parameter is the maximum time of individual vehicles spent in the model. The authors share their practical, mainly methodological, experiences with the simulation process and indicate economic cost needed for training as well.

В данной работе представлены результаты разработки имитационной модели уборочных работ сельскохозяйственных культур в среде AnyLogic. Работа выполнена на данных конкретного землепользования по внутрихозяйственной логистике одного из предприятий Новосибирской области (ОС Элитная, р.п. Краснообск: 54°54'57"с.ш., 82°57'6"в.д.). В основу модели заложены математические зависимости сроков созревания основных сельскохозяйственных культур в зависимости от их требований к условиям теплообеспеченности территории (сумм температур воздуха ∑t>10ºC), а также выполнена кластеризация культур по их назначению (кормовые и зерновые). В основе расчётного модуля также использовали параметры машинно-технологического обеспечения предприятия: ширина жатки комбайнов, объем бункера комбайнов и кузовов обслуживающих транспортных средств (ОТС), площади участков, назначение и урожайность сельскохозяйственных культур. Описано построение структуры работы взаимодействия комбайнов с ОТС, учитывая их технические характеристики, фактические и прогнозные данные суточных метеопараметров. Продемонстрирована возможность использования имитационной среды AnyLogic для решения частных задач в области сельскохозяйственного производства. Имитационная модель может быть использована в качестве инструмента поддержки принятия решений при планировании тактики и стратегии проведения уборочных работ, а также оптимизации уборочно-транспортных процессов в растениеводстве. This paper presents the results of the development of a simulation model of harvesting crops in the AnyLogic environment. The work was carried out on the data of a specific land use for on-farm logistics of one of the enterprises of the Novosibirsk region (Elite OS, Krasnoobsk: 54°54'57" s.w., 82°57'6" v.d.). The model is based on mathematical dependences of the maturation dates of the main crops depending on their requirements for the conditions of heat supply of the territory (sums of air temperatures ∑t>10ºC), and clustering of crops according to their purpose (fodder and grain) is also performed. The calculation module was also based on the parameters of the machine and technological support of the enterprise: the width of the harvester harvester, the volume of the hopper of the harvesters and the bodies of the servicing vehicles (OTS), the area of the plots, the purpose and yield of agricultural crops. The construction of the structure of the interaction of combines with OTS is described, taking into account their technical characteristics, actual and forecast data of daily meteorological parameters. The possibility of using the AnyLogic simulation environment for solving particular problems in the field of agricultural production is demonstrated. The simulation model can be used as a decision support tool when planning tactics and strategies for harvesting operations, as well as optimizing harvesting and transport processes in crop production.

Based on video grid structure, A Video Grid model was established using AnyLogic simulation software. First, the components required for modeling functions are introduced, and then create a model entity, video service processes, animation and analysis chart. Simulation results show that the AnyLogic-based video grid model, the model parameters can be adjusted, not only from the macroscopic dynamic observation of the entire system dynamics, but also from the microscopic measurement of the specified components. The construction of the actual video grid can provide a decision support.

The author of the article demonstrates the capabilities of simulation using the example of the AnyLogic PLE system. For this purpose, a model of the passenger service process in the airport building was built. A series of experiments aimed at studying the properties of the created model and collecting statistical information has been set. Further, the analysis of the obtained results was carried out and recommendations were made regarding the modernization of the modeled process. AnyLogic PLE proved to be an effective tool for the development, analysis and optimization of process models.

Man må analysere prosessen og se hvilken kommunikasjon som foregår mellom de som deltar i prosessen. I denne oppgaven skal jeg studere og finne ut hvilke feil som kan oppstå i legemiddelhåndteringsprosessen og beskrive hvilke kommunikative handlinger som forekommer iløpet av en prosess. Nel 2015, l’Azienda USL di Bologna ha intrapreso un percorso di riorganizzazione ed ottimizzazione del Servizio Sanitario: in ambito gastroenterologico, è nato il progetto Gastropack. Esso propone un nuovo paradigma per la presa in carico dell’intero percorso di cura del paziente, con accesso diretto alle prestazioni sanitarie erogabili all’interno di pacchetti giornalieri. Il lavoro di tesi ha riguardato lo sviluppo di modelli di simulazione, con l’ausilio del software AnyLogic, rappresentativi delle sperimentazioni in atto presso cinque Nuclei di Cure Primarie, afferenti a due Distretti del territorio Bolognese. Sono state analizzate tre diverse politiche di assegnamento dei pazienti alle strutture e alle date in cui effettuare le prestazioni, e valutate configurazioni alternative del sistema. Complessivamente, gli esperimenti hanno fornito una panoramica su alcuni scenari di interesse strategico per il progetto Gastropack, supportando le decisioni intraprese e proponendo possibili soluzioni alternative da implementare presso le realtà sperimentali.

This report provides a comparison of discrete-event simulation tools for supply chain models. We use different simulation tools (Arena and AnyLogic) to analyze and inspect the C14 supply chain management benchmark, as well as, a real-world business supply chain model that is provided by Vantai company in China. In this study, we consider different aspects of these simulation tools (such as, the capability of discrete-event simulation, visualization, simulation efficiency and accuracy, and debugging) to explore their advantages and disadvantages. We hope that our simulation results will have a positive impact on the supply chain management of the companies that provided us with data for this study; furthermore, the comparison results may be useful to developers and researchers in future simulation studies.

L’oggetto di studio di questa tesi è valutare l’impatto di situazioni sfavorevoli o impreviste, definite disruption, sul programma delle attività giornaliere in particolare rallentamenti, ritardi e possibili conseguenze sulla normale programmazione. Nella fattispecie, si è costruito un modello di microsimulazione ad eventi discreti a due livelli tramite l’ausilio del software Anylogic per riprodurre le operazioni aeroportuali: il livello “superiore” modella il ciclo di atterraggio e decollo degli aeromobili (in gergo aeronautico noto come ciclo LTO – Landing & TakeOff), mentre il livello inferiore simula le operazioni sottobordo, note come Aircraft Turnaround Operations. Il modello è stato poi applicato su una giornata media operativa dell’Aeroporto Guglielmo Marconi di Bologna, il cui layout di airside (piazzali, pista di volo, vie di rullaggio) è stato implementato nel modello. La tesi valuta l’impatto di alcune tipologie di disruptions sull’operativo, noto il comportamento del sistema in condizioni non perturbate.

En vue d’éviter ou de diminuer l’importance des dégâts causés par les accidents majeurs, il convient de modéliser les fonctions et les relations entre les composants d’un système industriel. Pour cela, dans cette thèse, on utilise la démarche de modélisation par la méthode STAMP (Systems-Theoretic Accident Model and Processes) pour représenter la structure hiéarchique du système, ainsi que les mécanismes de contrôle nécessaire pour préserver la sécurité d’un processus industriel. Afin de traiter les problématiques liées aux contrôles de la sécurité industrielle, on propose l’utilisation de l’outil de simulation Anylogic. Cet outil, permet modéliser et de simuler le comportement du système en fonction du temps en mode normal et en mode dégradé.L’objectif de ces travaux est donc de proposer une démarche basée à la fois sur la modélisation et la simulation pour analyser les risques et prévenir les accidents d’un site de stockage et distribution de GPL (Gaz Pétrole liquéfié)
System thinking concepts and simulation tools are used to model the risk prevention plan and operational modes designed to enforce safety constraints at a French liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) storage and distribution facility. In France, such facilities are classified and the subject of special legislation and safety regulations. Their supervision is the responsibility of a control and regulatory body. A technological risk and prevention plan is provided, where all the dangerous phenomena likely to occur in addition to the safety control measures are listed in the safety report. Safety is therefore addressed through rules, and control mechanisms ensure that the system complies with safety constraints. Taking this facility as a case study, we use the STAMP theoretical framework together with AnyLogic simulation software to model technical elements and human and organizational behavior. We simulate how the system evolves over time and the strategies that are deployed in a loss of control scenario. The aim is to assess whether the prescribed safety program covers all of the system's phases; namely operations and audits. The results enrich other research that focuses on the contribution of system dynamics to risk analysis and accident prevention

ENGLISH ABSTRACT: It is very seldom that a decision-making problem concerns only a single value or objective. The process of simultaneously optimising two or more con icting objectives is known as multi-objective optimisation (MOO). A number of metaheuristics have been successfully adapted for MOO. The aim of this study was to investigate the feasibility of applying an agent-based modelling approach to MOO. The (s; S) inventory problem was chosen as the application eld for this approach and Anylogic used as model platform. Agents in the model were responsible for inventory and sales management, and had to negotiate with each other in order to nd optimal reorder strategies. The introduction of concepts such as agent satisfaction indexes, aggression factors, and recollection ability guided the negotiation process between the agents. The results revealed that the agents had the ability to nd good strategies. The Pareto front generated from their proposed strategies was a good approximation to the known front. The approach was also successfully applied to a recognised MOO test problem proving that it has the potential to solve a variety of MOO problems. Future research could focus on further developing this approach for more practical applications such as complex supply chain systems, nancial models, risk analysis and economics.
AFRIKAANSE OPSOMMING: Daar is weinig besluitnemingsprobleme waar slegs 'n enkele waarde of doelwit ter sprake is. Die proses waar twee of meer doelwitte, wat in konflik staan met mekaar, gelyktydig optimiseer word, staan bekend as multi-doelwit optimisering (MOO). 'n Aantal metaheuristieke is al suksesvol aangepas vir MOO. Die doelwit van hierdie studie was om ondersoek in te stel na die lewensvatbaarheid van die toepassing van 'n agent gebasseerde modelerings benadering tot MOO. As toepassingsveld vir hierdie benadering was die (s; S) voorraad probleem gekies en Anylogic was gebruik as model platform. In die model was agente verantwoordelik vir voorraad- en verkope bestuur. Hulle moes onderling met mekaar onderhandel om die optimale bestelling strategiee te verkry. Konsepte soos agentbevrediging, aggressie faktore en herinneringsvermoens is ingestel om die onderhandeling tussen die agente te bewerkstellig. Die resultate het gewys dat die agente oor die vermoe beskik om met goeie strategiee vorendag te kom. Die Pareto fronte wat gegenereer is deur hul voorgestelde strategiee was 'n goeie benadering tot die bekende front. Die benadering was ook suksesvol toegepas op 'n erkende MOO toets-probleem wat bewys het dat dit oor die potensiaal beskik om 'n verskeidenheid van MOO probleme op te los. Toekomstige navorsing kan daarop fokus om hierdie benadering verder te ontwikkel vir meer praktiese toepassings soos komplekse voorsieningskettingstelsels, finnansiele modelle, risiko-analises en ekonomie.

Abstract (sommario):
In order for the learning process to always retain personal value for the learner, it is necessary that his or her motivation be maintained through an awareness of his or her purpose and goals. This article presents a local model (at the individual object level) of enhancing external motivation, which give to determine students’ efforts to get rewards. The concept of this model based on describing the behavior of agents (in our case students). The characteristics of the phenomenon in the motivation of learning at different stages of adolescent development are analyzed. The problem of computer modeling of educational processes with the help of agent modeling on the example of studying student motivation is considered. Internal and external factors that may strengthen or weaken the adolescent’s motivation to study have been studied. The expediency of using information technologies of agent modeling to study the dynamics of strengthening or weakening student motivation is substantiated. Using the AnyLogic Cloud computing environment the change of dynamics of strengthening of motivation of teenagers on an example of model of strengthening of external motivation is defined.
