The paper deals with the problem of traffic light control of road intersection. The authors use a model of a real road junction created in the AnyLogic modelling tool. For two scenarios, there are three simulation experiments performed ? fixed time control, fixed time control after AnyLogic-based optimizations, and dynamic control obtained through the cooperation of the AnyLogic tool and the Bonsai platform, utilizing benefits of deep reinforcement learning. At present, there are trends to simplify machine learning processes as much as possible to make them accessible to practitioners with no artificial intelligence background and without the need to become data scientists. Project Bonsai represents an easy-to-use connector, that allows to use AnyLogic models connected to the Bonsai platform - a novel approach to machine learning without the need to set any hyper-parameters. Due to unavailability of real operational data, the model uses simulation data only, with presence and movement of vehicles only (no pedestrians). The optimization problem consists in minimizing the average time that agents (vehicles) must spend in the model, passing the modelled intersection. Another observed parameter is the maximum time of individual vehicles spent in the model. The authors share their practical, mainly methodological, experiences with the simulation process and indicate economic cost needed for training as well.

В данной работе представлены результаты разработки имитационной модели уборочных работ сельскохозяйственных культур в среде AnyLogic. Работа выполнена на данных конкретного землепользования по внутрихозяйственной логистике одного из предприятий Новосибирской области (ОС Элитная, р.п. Краснообск: 54°54'57"с.ш., 82°57'6"в.д.). В основу модели заложены математические зависимости сроков созревания основных сельскохозяйственных культур в зависимости от их требований к условиям теплообеспеченности территории (сумм температур воздуха ∑t>10ºC), а также выполнена кластеризация культур по их назначению (кормовые и зерновые). В основе расчётного модуля также использовали параметры машинно-технологического обеспечения предприятия: ширина жатки комбайнов, объем бункера комбайнов и кузовов обслуживающих транспортных средств (ОТС), площади участков, назначение и урожайность сельскохозяйственных культур. Описано построение структуры работы взаимодействия комбайнов с ОТС, учитывая их технические характеристики, фактические и прогнозные данные суточных метеопараметров. Продемонстрирована возможность использования имитационной среды AnyLogic для решения частных задач в области сельскохозяйственного производства. Имитационная модель может быть использована в качестве инструмента поддержки принятия решений при планировании тактики и стратегии проведения уборочных работ, а также оптимизации уборочно-транспортных процессов в растениеводстве. This paper presents the results of the development of a simulation model of harvesting crops in the AnyLogic environment. The work was carried out on the data of a specific land use for on-farm logistics of one of the enterprises of the Novosibirsk region (Elite OS, Krasnoobsk: 54°54'57" s.w., 82°57'6" v.d.). The model is based on mathematical dependences of the maturation dates of the main crops depending on their requirements for the conditions of heat supply of the territory (sums of air temperatures ∑t>10ºC), and clustering of crops according to their purpose (fodder and grain) is also performed. The calculation module was also based on the parameters of the machine and technological support of the enterprise: the width of the harvester harvester, the volume of the hopper of the harvesters and the bodies of the servicing vehicles (OTS), the area of the plots, the purpose and yield of agricultural crops. The construction of the structure of the interaction of combines with OTS is described, taking into account their technical characteristics, actual and forecast data of daily meteorological parameters. The possibility of using the AnyLogic simulation environment for solving particular problems in the field of agricultural production is demonstrated. The simulation model can be used as a decision support tool when planning tactics and strategies for harvesting operations, as well as optimizing harvesting and transport processes in crop production.

Based on video grid structure, A Video Grid model was established using AnyLogic simulation software. First, the components required for modeling functions are introduced, and then create a model entity, video service processes, animation and analysis chart. Simulation results show that the AnyLogic-based video grid model, the model parameters can be adjusted, not only from the macroscopic dynamic observation of the entire system dynamics, but also from the microscopic measurement of the specified components. Abstract (sommario):
The author of the article demonstrates the capabilities of simulation using the example of the AnyLogic PLE system. For this purpose, a model of the passenger service process in the airport building was built. A series of experiments aimed at studying the properties of the created model and collecting statistical information has been set. Further, the analysis of the obtained results was carried out and recommendations were made regarding the modernization of the modeled process. AnyLogic PLE proved to be an effective tool for the development, analysis and optimization of process models.

The paper deals with the issues of the transport network imitation modeling. Preliminary the authors analyzed the main modeling systems, which include Aimsun, MATSim, Anylogic, PTV VISUM and others. All these instrumental tools have the ability to form an arbitrary structure of the transport network. The research showed, however, for the small sections of the street road network (SRN), such as the crossroad, the Anylogic system is more efficient and makes it possible to parameterize the model, which can be used to model various structures of the crossroad. In this regard, the paper proposes a generalized model of the crossroad and, based on its modeling, gives recommendations for choosing the type of crossroads at different intensities of traffic flows.

Subject. The research investigates key processes of urban life and its maintenance, including food supply, infrastructure, fire security, quality and accessibility of medical services, etc. The article also discusses the creation of a system supporting the Smart City decision-making process. Objectives. The research develops methods and tools to manage the Smart City system through system dynamics and agent-based modeling. Methods. Using simulation modeling, namely system dynamics and agent-based modeling (supported via Powersim and AnyLogic), we evaluate how multiple guiding parameters influence crucial characteristics of the Smart City system. Results. We devised an approach to designing the Smart City system through methods of system dynamics and agent-based modeling (supported via Powersim and AnyLogic) intended to streamline the decision making process for reasonable urban planning. Conclusions and Relevance. We propose the consolidated architecture of the Smart City decision-making system integrating the simulation models, data storage and city monitoring subsystem. The article describes the cases of simulation models implemented via Powersim and AnyLogic to support rational urban planning. The simulation models will significantly improve the quality of urban environment, satisfy the demand for food products, provide access to healthcare services and ensure effective rescue actions in case of emergency.

On the basis of schemes of cargo magnetic levitation stations, developed by the specialists of the Department of "Railway stations and junctions" of Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University, and the technology to transport goods over discrete-continuous principles created a model that allows to perform dynamic experiments to identify significant design parameters and performance of magnetic levitation terminals. Goal: To identify dependencies of key operating parameters of freight terminals required for their design and choice of rational performance of basic elements and devices. Method: In order to solve this problem, it is proposed to use a simulation method by means of a programme AnyLogic. Results: The technological algorithm of a freight station was developed, on the basis of which in the software environment of AnyLogic of the Russian company “the AnyLogic Company” the simulation model was built, and necessary report data were obtained - the required number and capacity of loading and unloading equipment, annual turnover of terminal, the average time spent on the platforms at the station and unproductive downtime of magnetic levitation platforms. Practical importance: The model verification has shown that the proposed simulation method allows to determine and justify the required parameters of the freight terminal of magnetic levitation lines, which will ensure rational spending of the funds for their construction and required processing ability.

At the same time, the duration of all semi-trips - arrival of the locomotive behind the part of the train, its extension to the turnout track, sorting and reverse pulling of the remaining cars - were calculated according to the formula ts/t = a + bm, which is now replaced by a new method for adjusting the shunting operations. The article presents the results of a study that made it possible to derive a formula for calculating the duration of the sorting of a train on the turnout track based on a different calculation of the duration of semi-trips. Развитие глобальной экономики приводит к возникновению различных логистических задач по оптимизации как маршрутов доставки, так и необходимости уложиться в заданные временные интервалы для каждого из клиентов. Полный перебор при большом количестве заказчиков, как известно, вызывается определённые проблемы даже на современной вычислительной базе. Поэтому методы решения классической задачи коммивояжёра остаются актуальными, тем более, что возникают специализированные программные среды, которые позволяют не только отобразить найденный маршрут, но и привязать его к реальной карте местности. Дополнительное преимущество, связанное с имитационным моделированием оптимизации процессов доставки, является возможность найти не один маршрут, а целый набора с различными, но близкими по значению критериями оптимальности, что может помочь глубже проанализировать текущую задачу в случае возникновения каких-либо непредвиденных ситуаций. В статье анализируются возможности программной среды имитационного моделирования AnyLogic и предлагается новый алгоритм перебора, основанный на выделении отдельных групп клиентов. Совмещение предлагаемого алгоритма с возможностями AnyLogic позволит создать законченное информационное приложение, которое можно использовать при практической работе в логистических компаниях. Тhe development of the global economy leads to the emergence of various logistics tasks to optimize both delivery routes and the need to meet the specified time intervals for each of the customers. Completely full search with a large number of customers, as is known, might to cause certain problems even on a modern computing base. Therefore, methods for solving the classic traveling salesman problem remain relevant, especially since specialized software environments are emerging that allow not only displaying the found route, but also linking it to a real map of the area. An additional advantage associated with simulation modeling of the optimization of delivery processes is the ability to find not one route, but a whole set with different but similar optimality criteria, which can help to analyze the current task in depth in the event of any unforeseen situations . The article analyzes the capabilities of the software environment for simulation AnyLogic and proposes a new search algorithm based on the selection of individual groups of clients. Combining the proposed algorithm with the capabilities of AnyLogic will create a complete information application that can be used in practical work in logistics companies.

The simulation is the most effective way to investigate information processing in computer systems. Computer system simulation is advantageous due to the fact, that such class of systems are well formalized in the form of queuing systems. Any computer system can be considered in terms of queuing system theory as an interconnected set of requests for service, system re-sources, queues to resources, and rules of service. The problem with the study of computer systems is that the existing simulation software tools have been developed as universal tools for the study of general-purpose systems. There are no specialized libraries or separate modeling tools for the study of computer systems. Therefore, modeling computer systems based on the use of standard libraries of such a modern modeling tool as AnyLogic, and the possible creation of elements of a specialized library is of great importance. The objective of the paper is to model multithreaded computing in a multiprocessor computer system using AnyLogic software. The designed computer system diagram enables us to have a deep insight into all details of information processing, and the obtained characteris-tics of the computer system, such as CPU usage coefficients, queue dynamics, distribution of thread execution time in the system, etc., allow us to determine the most effective configuration of the system, the parameters of its elements and operation modes.

The increasing complexity of modelled systems opens up questions of combining several modelling approaches in order to achieve higher efficiency and the required clarity of the simulations performed. For this reason, in addition to standard application-oriented modelling tools, we can see the growing popularity of the so-called hybrid or multimethod modelling approaches. A typical representative of such a modelling environment is the AnyLogic general-purpose modelling tool. This article describes the authors' experience with this tool in solving a selected problem in the field of modelling transport processes in urban areas. Using the example of the uncontrolled selected intersection, the procedure of creating a model with a more detailed analysis of its selected parts is discussed. The model based on real conditions is elaborated and compared with the model containing the fictitious traffic light control. Comparison is based on measuring the time that vehicles moving in the critical direction spend in the model. Both discussed models are stored in the cloud and may be run and study free.

The current situation at the market for food and agricultural raw materials is difficult, and critical for some industries. The processes of import substitution, that is, shaking-out imported products from the markets and the growth of domestic production, have significant differences for segments of the food market. There was a significant differentiation of food markets in the following main indicators: the growth rate of domestic production, the share of imports in resources, the share of exports in production, and the amount of state support. However, 2020 showed that the course taken by the Government and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation for import substitution was not fully implemented, and a large share of products is imported from third countries that were not included in the sanctions list. Economic and mathematical modeling can partially solve this problem. Analysis of scientific literature on modeling the equilibrium at agri-food markets showed the absence of any actual domestic development. The most famous foreign conceptual models dated back to 1990-2000. The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and the World Bank have developed such general and private equilibrium models as RUNS (Rural-Urban North South), MRT (Regional Trade MRT, Harrison), AGLINK COSIMO, etc. These recursive-dynamic models make it possible to determine the equilibrium parameters for the main types of products for almost all countries of the world, including the Russian Federation and all agricultural markets. However, the introduction of sanctions has stopped work in this direction.

The application of the tools of the Anylogic simulation model development environment is described, which makes it possible to clearly understand the basic principles of identifying mobile objects that are sources of radio emission. The article presents the main research results of various approaches to solving the problem of positioning radio signal sources based on measuring the level of its power by base stations of wireless data transmission networks. The positioning problem was solved under conditions of high mobility of the radio signal source. To solve the problem, a set of methods was used: trilateration, fuzzy logic, statistical test method (Monte Carlo), splitting method, as well as heuristic. The results obtained were tested in the developed prototypes in the form of simulation models in the Anylogic environment. Field measurements made in real operating conditions of positioning systems were used as initial data. Within the framework of this work, the following main results were obtained: implementation of a complex of modeling algorithms that carry out a number of random processes: motion of radio signal sources and propagation of radio waves; algorithms that implement the analytical calculation of the estimated location area based on various methods. A complex of simulation models of positioning systems has been developed, which makes it possible to visualize the determination of the location of a radio signal source in an urban environment, taking into account its mobility. Conclusions are formulated regarding the results of the conducted research. The scientific significance of the work lies in the development of a heuristic positioning algorithm based on sector partitioning and fuzzy logic. The practical value of the work lies in the development of a set of algorithms and their practical implementation in the form of applications in the Java language for the Anylogic modeling environment, which allow investigating the effectiveness of various predictive algorithms for positioning accuracy.

The article presents an approach to the development of an extended multi-sector bounded-neighbourhood with differentiated types of resources and intersectoral commodity-money interactions with implementation in the AnyLogic simulation tools. A feature of this approach is, firstly, a high degree of sectoral disaggregation (e.g., 42 types of economic activity are considered), and secondly, the three-level architecture of the proposed multi-agent system, which includes high-tech and low-tech resources as workplaces differentiated by types of economic activity (branches of the economy), and also multiple agents-individuals: natives and migrants with their own rules of behaviour and characteristics, and agents-sectors that provide the necessary structure of employment. We study the issues of software implementation of such a multi-level system in the AnyLogic, as well as the influence of the most important parameters of the model, in particular, such as the inflow rate of new migrants, dimensionality of forming industry clusters (i.e., a number of workplaces), level of wages by branches of the economy, etc. on the employment structure and the dynamics of gross domestic product, respectively.

The main goal of the paper is to develop and study an integrated energy supply system model in the AnyLogic software environment using a multiagent approach. Creating a single integrated system will allow: to implement new functionalities; increase reliability by improving redundancy and faster decision making in normal and emergency situations; determine the most profitable supply route individually for each consumer, based on cost and design features; participate consumers with their own energy sources in the process of energy supply of the system. The multiagent model of the integrated energy supply system was created in the AnyLogic software environment, which uses advanced technologies for modeling complex systems that will allow the most visual and detailed display of the interaction mechanisms of objects in the system and analyze the results. This study describes in detail the resulting multiagent model, its main agents, and their state diagrams. A description and analysis of an experiment conducted using this model is also provided. The results show that the multiagent model of the integrated energy supply system works correctly and performs all the specified functions.

Assignment simulation can make a great contribution to understanding the pedestrian dynamics. Relying on the statistical data at Beijing South Railway Station, we simulate the passenger flow assigned at service establishments, provided by density parameters changing. Then, simulation result can illustrate that the passenger flow presents regular aggregation state and the density of station platform has periodic change. Furthermore, the interaction between boarding and alighting tracks and various bottlenecks are demonstrated at the platform, in which the congestion performance is applied at improving the LOS (level of service) as well as supporting passenger flow organization strategies. Finally, the proposed performances are analyzed qualitatively.

The issues of simulation modeling of complex transport nodes and systems are considered in the paper. It has been determined that warehouses in seaports act as buffers and smooth out the resulting difference in incoming and outgoing cargo traffic between land and sea transport. When designing offshore coal terminals, choosing the size, layout and equipment of a warehouse is one of the cornerstones. The basic principles for the placement of coal piles, depending on the size and capacity of an open warehouse, the size of ship lots and the average shelf life are provided in the paper. One of the main indicators that determine the correctness of choosing the size and layout of an open warehouse is the coefficient of utilization of the warehouse capacity. Formulas for its calculation are given. The principles of stacking coal in piles are further defined in the paper. There are four main laying methods - conical, chevron, layering and windowed. Next, the dependence of the coal storage density on the mass of the stack and the utilization rate of the warehouse on the average storage time of the cargo is determined. It is concluded that it is possible to fully assess the impact of stochastic events occurring in the terminal warehouse only with the use of simulation modeling. Further, it is determined that mixing and homogenization operations can be carried out in open warehouses. The differences and principles of these processes are given. Approaches to the selection of warehouse equipment and cyclical machines are identified, the advantages and disadvantages of the various types of warehouse machines are indicated. Definitions of technical and operational performance of machines are given. The Anylogic environment is chosen for modeling. Using environment elements, a digital copy of the coal terminal warehouse, serving the material flow - bulk cargoes, is created. Further, a detailed explanation of the principles and approach to creating a digital model is given, the internal and external links of the elements are clarified. In conclusion, information about the options for setting up and managing the model, and brief information about the results obtained are given.
