This paper is the findings of the research conducted on foraging behavior of Native honeybee (Apis cerana F.) and European honeybee (Apis mellifera L.) on flowering buckwheat (Fagopyrum esculentum Moench) inside the cage during November 2012 to 2013 at Meghauli, Chitwan, Nepal. Apis cerana F. started their foraging activities early in the morning (8.24 ± 0.50 AM) and ceased late in the evening (5.18 ± 0.20 PM) in comparison to Apis mellifera L., which started foraging at 8.29 ± 0.50 AM and ceased at 4.56 ± 0.50 PM. An experiment was conducted to determine the foraging behavior of Apis mellifera L. and Apis cerana F. in rapeseed under cage condition in Chitwan, Nepal during 2012-2013. This experiment showed that Apis cerana F. foraged extra 42 minute per day as compared to Apis mellifera L. Apis cerana F. were more attracted to nectar, whereas Apis mellifera L. were more attracted to pollen collection throughout the day. Beenest is rich in secondary metabolites because honeycombs, among others, are formed from plant resins (propolis). This study aimed to analyze differences in flavonoid content and in vitro antioxidant activity of Apis dorsata Binghami and Apis mellifera nest extracts. Podjelu uloga između članova pčelinje zajednice, kao i funkcioniranje pčelinje zajednice omogućuje savršena komunikacija, a ona se kod pčela odvija pomoću pčelinjeg plesa i najvećim dijelom putem feromona. Feromoni u pčelinjoj zajednici imaju ulogu spajanja pčela kao jedinki u jednu kohezivnu zajednicu, tzv. superorganizam. Također, feromoni imaju ključnu ulogu u svim aspektima života pčelinje zajednice, od razmnožavanja, do sakupljanja hrane i obrane zajednice. U ovom su radu obrađene žlijezde koje izlučuju feromone, kao i uloga pojedinih feromona na ponašanje pčelinje zajednice.

Screening studies of the honey bee in Siberia made it possible to identify the dark forest bee Apis mellifera mellifera populations in the Tomsk region, Krasnoyarsk and Altai territories, and the Altai Republic. The article presents the diversity of Hymenoptera species (Hymenoptera L.) identified on the Phacelia tanacetifolia Benth. cv. 'Melifera' plants, grown in the collection of “Alexandru Ciubotaru” National Botanical Garden (Institute). Abstract (sommario):
The effect of the neonicotinoid, which is the most toxic for bees, on the components of the individual immunity of Apis mellifera L. workers, was studied. It was shown that a non-lethal dose of imidacloprid caused pathological changes in the intestine and fat body cells, the insect's reaction to its own decaying cells and tissues, aggregation, adhesion and lysis of granulocytes that removes a significant proportion of protective cells from the bloodstream, the generation of reactive oxygen species under the inhibition of phenol oxidase activity in hemocytes.

However, traditionally determining her presence within a hive requires invasive methods, causing stress among the bees and potential nest damage.
