Abstract (sommario):
In this article we focus on the relationship between processes of becoming of “self-specialist” image with the periods of professional adaptation that meet certain levels of assimilation. These levels include preadaptive (training), initial period of adaptation (reproduction), period of the second “real” adaptation (usefulness), potential mobility period (satisfaction). The meaning of professionalization and psychology of working environment was revealed. Professionalization of personality causes the development of its “self-specialist” image formation. The “self-specialist” image considered a

Activity recall, in-depth interviews, and reenactment of the fall were used to elucidate the behavior patterns, actions, and habits that contribute to older adults falling in public places. The aim was to improve older adults' capacity to understand behavioral risks associated with falls and develop safe adaptive strategies so they can play an active role in minimizing falls and maintaining meaningful activity. Ten major themes were identified: not attending to the route ahead, lack of familiarity, pace, mobility behaviors, environmental influences, eyesight behaviors, health factors affecting

Abstract (sommario):
AbstractDel Giudice's model belongs among those that highlight the role of adaptive developmental plasticity in human reproductive strategies; but at least three other forms of evolutionary adaptation also influence reproductive behavior. Similar to earlier models, the existing evidence suggests that Del Giudice's hypothesized effects are rather weak. In particular, adult attachment styles are hardly predictive of outcomes visible to natural selection.

Abstract (sommario):
Development of a neurotic disorder is a result of the formation of the non-adaptive cognitive structures. Each structure conceptualizes the particular nature of perception, gained experience, specific features of the experience understanding, as well as human behavior. As a result of such cognitive structures, automatic thoughts, cognitive biases, and inadequate emotional sufferings occur that determine the choice of maladaptive behavioral strategies. Unconscious nonrational attitudes exacerbate the emotional state resulting in crystallization of non-adaptive behavioral patterns and developmen

Abstract (sommario):
The article elucidates the mechanisms by which interior environments influence an individual’s emotional and behavioral states through the lenses of neuroarchitecture and cognitive-emotional design. To offer a comprehensive examination of how interior design affects human behavior, an analysis was conducted of findings from prior studies exploring the psychology of spatial perception. This analysis demonstrated how forms, color schemes, biophilic elements, and smart technologies can “program” desired behaviors and enhance four dimensions of well-being: physical, intellectual, emotional, and so

This paper investigates the ultimate socioeconomic causes underlying the termination of parental investment in humans by analyzing the relationship between socioeconomic status and various forms of child mortality, including live births, stillbirths, infant deaths, and infanticide. Utilizing theoretical foundations from human behavioral ecology, the study illustrates how different forms of termination of parental investment can be viewed as points along a continuum of adaptive strategies aimed at optimizing reproductive fitness. The research emphasizes that technical and cognitive limitations

Destructive behavior is defined as a stable behavior of the personality, deviating from the most important social norms, accompanied by its social disadaptation. It is noted that modern theories of deviance interpret destructive behavior in the context of a hierarchical system of factors manifested at the individual and group levels. Modern types of destruction prevention are characterized (“direc

For short-term interactions in restricted environments, scripting and state machine techniques can create agents with emotion and personality, but these methods are labor intensive, hard to extend, and brittle in new environments. Fortunately, research in memory, emotion and personality in humans and animals points to a solution to this problem. Emotions focus an animal’s attention on things it needs to care about,

Abstract Self-regulation plays a key role in children’s and adolescents’ academic, social-emotional, and physical health, as it helps them manage, control, and adapt their behaviors and thoughts to produce a desired end state. However, many academically at-risk learners have underlying exceptionalities that may affect the development and use of self-regulation processes. This chapter explores the link between student characteristics, self-regulated learning (SRL) skills, and academic outcomes, and details how innovative interventions support the development of SRL skills. The quality of instruction Warfighters receive can substantially influence mission readiness. As such, it is important that military instructors develop and maintain instructional competencies to adequately promote relevant knowledge and skills among trainees. However, unlike K-12 educators, active-duty military instructors are not often provided opportunities for formal instructional training; that is, training on how to teach (Malone, Vogel-Walcutt, Ross, & Phillips, 2014). While their content, domain knowledge, and leadership skills are strong, military instructors lack “expert instruct
