ABSTRACT: This article describes the entrepreneurial profile of women entrepreneurs in the municipality of Toluca. The data used was generated through the application of a questionary to 141 businesswomen, taken from the database of the Mexican Business Information System (SIEM). This research identifies the characteristics of women entrepreneurs with the purpose of specific users. It was found that the women had an average age of 38 years, had high levels of schooling and the main problems that faced them.
