Testo completoThis thesis discusses the identification issues of the robot dynamic parameters. Starting with the well-known inverse dynamic identification model, power and energy identification models for robots, it extends the identification model from an energy point of view, by integrating modulating functions with robot power model. This new identification model avoids the computation of acceleration data. As well, the integration procedures are analyzed in frequency domain so that certain groups of modulating functions are selected in order to offer a good low-pass filtering property. Then, a recently developed high order algebraic differentiator is proposed and studied, named Jacobi differentiators. The analyses are done in both the time domain and in the frequency domain, which gives a clear clue about the differentiator filtering property and about how to select the differentiator parameters. Comparisons among different identification models, differentiators, least square techniques are presented and conclusions are drawn in the robot identification issues

Testo completoThe work presented in this Thesis is part of the CRONE (robust control with fractional integration order) multivariable methodology development. It deals with the simplification of the robust multivariable control system implementation with application to the control of high dynamic engine test-benches, including those developed by the D2T company. The first chapter introduces different kind of test-benches and gives a general idea about how those systems work while explaining their problems. While the first part of chapter II presents a simple method for test-benches modeling which then allows their simulation, the second part is dedicated to their frequency-domain system identification. The defined identification procedure is applied to a test-bench equipped with a Diesel engine. The third chapter presents the CRONE multivariable methodology and different developments to simplify its use. Reflecting these developments, the developed CRONE multivariable toolbox is used to design a control system for a test-bench consists of two asynchronous motors. The fourth chapter is dedicated to validate the presented work by applying these developments to a high dynamic test-bench with a spark ignition engine. This chapter presents the various software tools developed to simplify the implementation to D2T products of the CRONE full MIMO methodology

Testo completoThis thesis addresses energy management strategies (EMS) for a hybrid source composed of a fuel cell (FC), a supercapacitor (SC), and a battery, intended for a long-endurance drone. The main objective is to limit the current variations requested from the FC. After analyzing the energy challenges in the aviation sector and hybridization technologies, the study explores different architectures and energy models to optimize the lifetime of the sources, particularly the FC.Three EMS strategies were examined. The first is the fixed-frequency strategy, which uses a constant cutoff frequency to separate low and high frequencies. The second, known as the adaptive strategy, varies the cutoff frequency based on the SC’s state of charge, allowing better management of current variations from the load. Finally, the H-infinity control strategy adjusts the energy distribution between the sources according to specific performance constraints. The results show that the adaptive frequency strategy significantly reduces the current variations demanded from the FC, with a reduction of up to 45 % on certain cycles, potentially extending its lifespan. On the other hand, the H-infinity control strategy proved to be less efficient and requires further optimization. Tests in both simulation and on a test bench confirm these findings, but a more detailed study on FC aging would be necessary to accurately estimate the gains in lifetime

Testo completoThis thesis constitutes a contribution by a systemic approach to find ways of fuel cell systems integration to form simple, effective and reliable electro generators. Indeed, the study proposes a development methodology of control and on-line energy management of hybrid systems having a fuel cell as main source and as element of storage of supercondensers. The first phase of the study tried to represent and to characterize the electric behaviour, at once static and dynamic of the fuel cell generator under variable and varied requests. This allowed to justify the use of an assistance to palliate the fuel cell generator limits. The introduction of an intermediate storage organ can be so realized by a significant number of different architectures, the analysis of their electric behaviour led to the choice of the study structures. By leaning on this choice, the second stage brought to build command algorithms and energy management. Two methods were used. The first one founded on the macroscopic energy representation REM. She allowed to highlight the explicit and implicit freedom degrees of both structures. The regulation chains identification acting on the objectives and the constraints of 2 systems facilitated the development of command structures based on the inversion rules REM. Also passivity based control was envisaged for the stability guarantees which it brings intrinsically. Through a different algorithm, the same flexibility of regulation was able to be assured. Besides, a management strategy of saturations and limits of the system was set up, to pilot the extreme functionings. An important part of the work has consisted in setting up a test bench - representative of considered hybrid fuel cell system. Thanks to this experimental means, allowed to test the various architectures of the system, but also fuel cell model and control laws developed during the thesis have been validated

Testo completoLn control design problems, both frequency- and time-domain requirements are usually considered such that the resulting control law satisfies the specifications. Novel non-smooth optimization techniques can be used to achieve multiple frequency-domain specifications over a family of linear models. However, enforcing time-domain constraints on a given output or state is more challenging Since translating them into frequency-domain requirements may be inaccurate. This motivates the study of an additional approach to the Hinf control design techniques. When time-domain constraints are satisfied, the nominal control law reduces to a controller satisfying the frequency-domain constraints. Upon violation of the ime-domain constraint, an additional tool named OIST is used to saturate the controller output so as to restrict the reachable set of the constrained system output. Stability guarantees are obtained for minimum phase systems. Further developments proposed therein allow the consideration of uncertain systems With incomplete state measurements. This is he OISTeR approach. The method uses certified bounds on the considered system state as provided by an interval observer. he theory of interval observers is well-established. ln the case of linear systems, the most common approach is to consider an intermediate cooperative system on which the interval observer can be built. The novel SCorplO design method proposed in this work is used to compute such cooperative representation. ln this thesis, the considered application is the atmospheric control of a flexible launch vehicle under a time-domain constraint on the angle of attack and in the presence of wind gusts
