Abstract (sommario):

Targeting the issue of high losses of individual switching tubes in Neutral-Point Clamped (NPC) three-level inverters, an Active Neutral-Point Clamped (ANPC) three-level inverter is used, and a model predictive control strategy using the loss equalization of the inverter is proposed. This method organizes and analyzes multiple zero-state current pathway commutation modes and adds mode three under the original two commonly used zero-state commutation modes. On this basis, the three modes are flexibly switched by model predictive control, and the output is optimized according to the value function for the space vector in each operation, while the midpoint voltage control is added to the value function. The simulation results suggest that the recommended strategy in this study may effectively realize the loss equalization control and midpoint voltage control of the ANPC inverter, which improves the operation efficiency of the electromechanical actuator.

The permanent magnet brushless DC motor (BLDCM) is typically controlled using the six-step commutation method, and the flux-weakening method is employed to enable the motor to operate at speeds higher than the base speed. Currently, it is considered that the weak magnetic angle range is 0-pi/3, while the range for deep weakening is pi/3-pi/2. In field-weakening control, a forward shift of the commutation point results in a circulating current flowing in the three-phase bridge of the inverter and the stator winding of the motor. This paper analyses the principle of the circulating current formed by the inverter. Through magnetic potential analysis and Simulink simulation, it is concluded that flux-weakening control generates a circulating current in the inverter and motor stator windings. The inverter’s circulating current affects the motor’s magnetic potential, causing it to shift towards the rotating direction of the motor rotor. When the forward shift angle of the inverter commutation point is within the range of 0-pi/6 electrical angle, the phase shift of the inverter circulating current remains below pi/6. This configuration weakens the magnetic field and provides the driving effect. However, when the forward shift angle falls within the range of pi/6-pi/3, the phase shift of the inverter circulating current exceeds pi/6, resulting in magnetic weakening and braking. During the braking effect, a reverse torque is generated, leading to a decrease in motor torque and efficiency. Therefore, the range of the weak magnetic angle should be between 0-pi/6.

The Reduced Asymmetric Neutral Point Clamped converter topology for unipolar driven, multiphase switched reluctance machines is proposed in this paper. This topology shares similarities with the conventional NPC and Asymmetric-NPC topologies, however it is unique in that the components for the capacitor string and outer semiconductor switches are shared among all the phases for a reduced component count. Some switching state combinations are not possible during commutation overlap between motor phases, resulting in minor torque transients during regenerative braking. A custom modulation scheme is implemented with fixed frequency, phase-shifted carrier waveforms that allow for automatic balancing of the neutral point voltage and interleaved switching of the semiconductor switches. A simple torque observer control architecture is used with minor adjustments for arbitrating torque contribution priorities between phases during handover.

The focus of this paper will be on the development of a photovoltaic (PV) pumping system that employs a DC-DC boost converter as an intermediate power conditioning unit in a centrifugal water pump powered by a brushless DC (BLDC) motor supplied by a solar photovoltaic panel (SPV). This work describes a particle swarm optimization (PSO) maximum power point tracking (MPPT) method compared with the gray wolf optimizer (GWO) method that are closed-loop with a sliding mode controller (SMC) in order to control the operational point of a solar PV in partial shading conditions (PSC), the DC-DC boost converter provides a low starting current for the BLDC motor, and the voltage source inverter (VSI) is used to perform electronic commutation of the BLDC motor. Furthermore, the BLDC motor's speed is regulated by the changeable DC link voltage. The system under consideration, as well as the control approaches employed, were created in the MATLAB/Simulink environment.

In this study, the feedback effects of a three-phase half-controlled rectifier (also known as a semiconverter) to three-phase AC power grid was analyzed. Special attention was paid to the identification of harmonic order of the phase current. As a reference point for analysis, the mathematical model of an uncontrolled rectifier was used. The harmonic order of the phase current was identified by displaying the measurement results as well as using a mathematical model that is easily applicable, although this is unusual for harmonic analysis because it is based on time domain data. For this purpose, laboratory models of uncontrolled and half-controlled rectifiers were assembled. For both converters, the results obtained by practical laboratory measurements were compared to the mathematically obtained results, with the commutation in the mathematical model being ignored. The effects of commutation were analyzed in more detail for the laboratory model. For the semiconverter, the characteristic waveforms were studied for few different firing angles of the thyristor. Additionally, total power factor and total harmonic distortion of phase current were determined for all chosen firing angles. Finally, a comprehensive conclusion was drawn based on theoretically and practically obtained results on the appearance of even-order current harmonics, which should be taken into consideration when designing input filters and which contributes to power quality of the AC power grid.

Dans cet article, nous présentons une commande de type contrôle direct du couple (DTC) basée sur les réseaux de neurones de la machine asynchrone de forte puissance (1 MW) alimentée par onduleur NPC de tension à cinq niveaux (DTC-5N). La commande DTC classique présente plusieurs inconvénients, tels que l’obtention d’une fréquence de commutation variable, les ondulations du couple et du flux, les fluctuations des puissances et les harmoniques des courants dans le régime transitoire et permanent, à cause de l’utilisation des comparateurs à hystérésis et les tableaux de commutation. Pour cela, nous avons proposé d’étudier dans cet article la commande directe du couple à cinq niveaux (DTC-5N) basée sur les réseaux de neurones artificiels (DTC-RNA-5N), pour améliorer les performances de la commandes DTC cinq niveaux, où la table de commutation sont remplacés par un contrôleur neuronal, afin de bien conduire les grandeurs de sortie de la MAS vers leurs valeurs de référence durant une période de temps fixe. Des simulations numériques sont présentées pour comparer les performances des méthodes proposées (DTC-RNA-5N).

Abstract (sommario):

This paper presents a new position sensorless control strategy for a brushless DC motor (BLDCM) driven by a four-switch three-phase inverter (FSTPI). This strategy introduces a flux-linkage function, which changes obviously at the time of the extremum jump. In the proposed strategy, the extremum jump edge determines the six commutation points needed for motor commutation. Then the high-precision and reliable commutation of the BLDCM is realized. This strategy can be used on BLDCM driven by FSTPI. Compared with other position sensorless control methods for BLDCM driven by FSTPI, the proposed method does not need to set a threshold value to detect the commutation point. It can obtain six commutation points required for motor commutation without interpolation. This avoids commutation errors caused by threshold value setting and interpolation. In addition, this strategy adopts a three-phase current control method for BLDCM driven by FSTPI. It can effectively restrain the current distortion of the capacitor middle point connection phase. And the terminal voltage is calculated. It can avoid the error caused by hardware sampling and improve the accuracy of the position sensorless control strategy. The experimental results verify the correctness of the theory and the effectiveness of the method.

This paper presents a single-phase Full-Bridge (FB) inverter with a hybrid commutation technique designed to reduce the harmonic distortion caused by the loss of the controller capability around the zero-crossing point in the unipolar commutation region. The hybrid modulation changes from unipolar to bipolar commutation under the loss of the reference control, improving the robustness and efficiency of the method. The commutation technique improves the switching performance and reduces the switching losses. Simulation models are developed in MATLAB/Simulink R2023b to evaluate their performance under different operating conditions. The results show that the proposed commutation technique can achieve high efficiency, low total harmonic distortion (THD), and fast dynamic response. The experimental implementation of sliding mode control (SMC) implemented in an STM32 microcontroller confirms that the hybrid commutation technique can reduce the THD by 0.96 percentage points for local (off-grid) loads and up to 2.45 in an industrial grid-tie network, compared with unipolar commutation. These findings highlight the potential of the proposed modulation technique for applications like solar panels and offer crucial insights for ongoing research and development in this field.

Résumé Le point de départ de la structuration du champ terminologique est le problème posé par le terme angloaméricain ground control point dans le domaine de la télédétection aérospatiale. Le calque courant point de contrôle est en fait l'équivalent français avec point de vérification, de checkpoint. Ce mauvais usage du terme point de contrôle incite à définir rigoureusement les concepts français auxquels correspond ground control point: point d'appui et point de canevas, termes correspondant à deux notions distinctes par lesquelles ground control point se traduit en français; point de repère et amer qui entrent dans la sphère de ces notions; et enfin point de vérification et son synonyme correct point de contrôle. Ces cinq notions sont analysées ici comme constituant un champ terminologique.

With the needs of environmental protection and the adjustment of energy structure, new energy vehicles are playing an increasingly important role in the field of transportation today. The permanent-magnet brushless direct-current motor has the characteristics of high efficiency, and can be used in the drive system of new energy vehicles or other auxiliary equipment. In the control process of the permanent-magnet brushless direct-current motor, based on a three-Hall position sensor, due to various factors, there are some errors in the Hall position signal, which must be corrected by appropriate measures. In this paper, the relationship between the position deviation in the commutation interval and the non-commutation-phase current is analyzed, and the current expressions in three different states are given. A new closed-loop compensation strategy for correcting the inaccurate commutation caused by the Hall signal error is proposed. Taking the position of a 30° electrical angle before and after the phase-change point as the H point, realizing the current symmetry within the 30° interval around the H point as the target and the sum of the slopes of the tangent lines at the two points symmetrical within the β (0 < β < 30) electrical angle around the H point as the deviation, a proportional-integral regulator is designed to correct the phase error of the phase-change signal. Finally, it is verified by experiments that the closed-loop compensation strategy proposed in this paper can effectively compensate the phase deviation of the commutation signal at a speed of about 2000 r/min, which improves the working efficiency of the motor to a certain extent.

En cancérologie, l’inhibition de points de contrôle inhibiteurs vise à amplifier les réponses immunitaires existantes dirigées contre les tumeurs. Parmi ces points de contrôle inhibiteurs, dont des antagonistes sont en utilisation clinique, se trouvent CTLA-4 (cytolytic T-lymphocyte-associated antigen 4 ou CD152), PD-1 (programmed cell death 1, ou CD279), PD-L1 (programmed cell death-ligand 1, ou CD274), LAG-3 (Lymphocyte-activation gene 3, ou CD223), TIM3 (T-cell immunoglobulin and mucin-domain containing-3), TIGIT (T cell immunoreceptor with Ig and ITIM domains), VISTA (V-domain Ig suppressor of T cell activation), ou B7/H3 (ou CD276). Cet article propose donc une approche féministe, mettant en valeur la "structure double de la représentation inégale". Cette approche reconnaît la structure de la représentation des questions concernant la femme au sein de groupes en particulier, mais souligne qu'une telle représentation s'emboîte dans une deuxième structure qui résulte des positions de "contrôle auxiliaire" de la femme dans le contexte de la production/reproduction. Cette dernière structure garantit que les. femmes se retrouvent surtout dans des positions relativement dépourvues de pouvoir dans les ministères et les postes où le besoin de "contrôle auxiliaire" prédomine.

Cet article traite du lien qui existe entre les habitudes alimentaires et les discours normatifs sur l’alimentation. La notion d’équilibre est le point central autour duquel s’organise l’opposition entre plaisir et contrôle. Les conclusions tirées de cet article proviennent d’une série d’entretiens menés auprès d’individus qui font de l’entraînement physique sur une base régulière. Pour eux, l’équilibre s’obtient par les pratiques alimentaires, mais surtout par la mise en oeuvre du dosage entre plaisir et contrôle. Selon l’auteur, le lien social est la pierre angulaire de cet équilibre et son analyse l’amène à postuler qu’une propension forte au contrôle semble déranger le fonctionnement relationnel, exposant ainsi le mangeur à l’isolement et à la stigmatisation. C’est dans cet horizon que se dessine la frontière entre le normal et le pathologique.

This article reports a strategy for suppressing commutation torque ripple has been proposed by modifying a SEPIC converter using switched capacitor. The torque ripple generated during the commutation period is one of the main disadvantages of a brushless DC (BLDC) motor. The cause for the torque ripple in brushless DC motor has been mathematically analyzed in this work. Henceforth, a modified switched-capacitor based DC-DC converter has been proposed for integration with BLDC drive. Moreover, a theoretical analysis of the relationship has been established between the duty ratio of the DC-DC converter with commutation time and torque ripple. A low cost and simple method to control the dc link voltage of BLDC drive has been proposed and a comparative analysis of the proposed converter with previously existing similar converters has been shown. This work aims at reducing ripple in electromagnetic torque of BLDC motor from the view point of duty ratio of the DC-DC converter and commutation time of the drive. The feasibility of the drive has been evaluated experimentally and through simulation. It has been observed that the integration of the proposed converter with BLDC drive help in torque ripple suppression to 16.5% as compared to BLDC drive without any DC-DC converter.

This paper concerns the description of some properties of p-dimensional invertible real maps Tb, turning into a (p-1)-dimensional noninvertible ones T0, p=2,3, when a parameter b of the first map is equal to a critical value, say b=0. Then it is said that the noninvertible map is embedded into the invertible one. More particularly, properties of the stable, and the unstable manifolds of a saddle fixed point are considered in relation with this embedding. This is made by introducing the notion of folding as resulting from the crossing through a commutation curve when p=2, or a commutation surface when p=3.

The dynamical system of a point particle constrained on a torus is quantized à la Dirac with two kinds of coordinate systems respectively; the Cartesian and toric coordinate systems. In the Cartesian coordinate system, it is difficult to express momentum operators in coordinate representation owing to the complication in structure of the commutation relations between canonical variables. In the toric coordinate system, the commutation relations have a simple form and their solutions in coordinate representation are easily obtained with, furthermore, two quantum Hamiltonians turning up. A problem comes out when the coordinate system is transformed, after quantization, from the Cartesian to the toric coordinate system.

Non-commutative L 2-spaces are shown to constitute examples of a class of CQ*-algebras and any abstract CQ*-algebra (X, 𝖀0) possessing a sufficient family of bounded positive tracial sesquilinear forms can be represented as a direct sum of non-commutative L 2-spaces.

The point-to-point swing arm test is very important for large arms which have swing arm movement. Traditional point-to-point swing arm controller is relay control mode. The mode has many shortcomings, such as big volume, high power consumption, low stability, and so on. An intelligent point-to-point swing arm controller, using MCU as the control core, was designed for this reason. It was mainly composed of switch signal detecting module, solenoid valve drive module, USB storage interface module and MCU control module. According to the requirements of test, the controller was able to detect the valid signal of limit switch and control commutation operation of solenoid valve, meanwhile it could record the movement time between one point and another point, the time the arm swayed and the moment information, and these above information would be stored in USB memory. It has some advantages of small size, low power consumption, high stability and flexible functions.

The method of point-splitting regularization is applied on the two-dimensional (super)conformal field theory. This method is first used to regularize the fermionic conformal field theory and then the N=1 superconformal field theory. We obtain the correct central extensions for the conformal algebra and the N=1 superconformal algebra. We arrived at these results only after some nontrivial, but exact, cancelations among all the singular terms, as required by the consistency of the point-splitting method. In the course of our analysis, we rederive Wick's Theorem directly from the commutation equations of the fundamental fields.

This paper presents an innovative approach to achieve efficient solar water pumping through the integration of a Photovoltaic (PV) array and a Brushless Direct Current (BLDC) motor water pumping system. The system incorporates a Voltage Source Converter (VSC) with six switches, utilized to facilitate commutation. The inherent solar radiation is harnessed by the PV array, capitalizing on its renewable nature to generate electricity. By dynamically adjusting the switching states of the six VSC switches, the speed of the BLDC motor is modulated in response to the varying levels of available solar radiation. The BLDC motor's hall sensor signals play a crucial for determining the rotor's position and they are employed to generate precise commutation signals. The control strategy integrates the Incremental Conductance (INC) Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithm, which initially governs the commutation signals. To enhance adaptability to rapidly changing solar irradiation conditions, the control strategy dynamically updates the commutation signals using the innovative Beta MPPT algorithm. To assess the efficiency of the proposed control strategy, a comprehensive comparison between the INC and Beta MPPT algorithms is conducted using MATLAB Simulink. The performance of the BLDC motor under these algorithms was evaluated in terms of its ability to optimize energy extraction. The graphical analysis of these algorithms, considering the temporal aspect, substantiates the identification of the superior MPPT algorithm for BLDC motor control in solar water pumping applications. This study contributes to the advancement of solar water pumping systems by introducing a novel control approach that combines PV array utilization, VSC-based commutation, and a dual-step MPPT algorithm. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the Beta MPPT algorithm by enabling the system to respond promptly to fluctuating solar irradiation conditions, thereby enhancing the overall efficiency of the solar water pumping process.

Nouveau Brunswick et Canada (Ministère de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration) c. Khosa. L’auteur se penche sur l’impact de ces deux décisions à la lumière des raisons qui ont poussé la Cour à modifier certains aspects fondamentaux du contrôle judiciaire. L’auteur évalue d’abord l’impact de l’arrêt Dunsmuir par rapport à l’équité procédurale, un aspect souvent négligé de cette décision de la Cour. L’auteur présente ensuite un commentaire sur la réforme des normes de contrôle judiciaire introduite par ce même arrêt, et ce, à travers le concept de déférence et son rôle dans ce domaine du droit administratif. Finalement, l’auteur aborde l’arrêt Khosa pour analyser la relation entre l’approche des normes de contrôle développée dans Dunsmuir et celle découlant des régimes législatifs de contrôle judiciaire. D’où, des exigences pour le contrôle avancé de l'onduleur connecté au réseau permettent le contrôle complet de l'énergie photovoltaïque fournie, toute en assurant une bonne qualité d’énergie, un faible Taux de Distorsion Harmonique (THD) des courants injectés dans le réseau et le contrôle de la puissance active et réactive. Ce papier présente, les configurations, la classification et les topologies des différents types d’onduleurs PV connectés au réseau. Un résumé concis des méthodes de contrôle pour les onduleurs monophasés et triphasés est également présenté. Un banc d’essai a été réalisé pour la validation expérimentale des techniques de contrôle proposées et développées.

Abstract This paper presents a modulation strategy for self-balancing of capacitor voltages of three-phase neutral-point clamped bi-directional rectifier (without feedback controller and sensors). It is identified that regions within a sector are divided into two categories: (a) One small vector among three selected vectors and (b) Two small vectors among three selected vectors. For category (a) positive and negative commutation state of small vector is implemented for equal duty cycle but for category (b) positive and negative commutation state of small vectors is implemented for unequal duty cycle. Based on this observation, an innovative idea is executed to remove these discrepancies. The innovative optimized space vector switching sequences negative and positive commutation state of both the small vectors are implemented for equal duty cycle during each sampling period resulting in self-balancing of DC-bus capacitors with much reduced ripples under steady-state and dynamic load conditions for both rectification and inversion mode of operation. The converter exhibits excellent performance in terms of other critical parameters like unity input power factor, low input current THD, minimum possible switching losses, reduced-rippled and well-regulated DC voltage. The proposed control algorithm is tested through exhaustive simulation of converter using MATLAB Simulink software.

The spin of a glueball is usually taken as coming from the spin (and possibly the orbital angular momentum) of its constituent gluons. In light of the difficulties in accounting for the spin of the proton from its constituent quarks, the spin of glueballs is re-examined. The starting point is the fundamental QCD field angular momentum operator written in terms of the chromoelectric and chromomagnetic fields. First, we look at the possible restrictions placed on the structure of glueballs from the requirement that the QCD field angular momentum operator should satisfy the standard commutation relationships. This analysis can be compared to the electromagnetic charge/monopole system, where the requirement that the total field angular momentum obey the angular momentum commutation relationships places restrictions (i.e. the Dirac condition) on the system. Second, we look at the expectation value of the field angular momentum operator under some simplifying assumptions.

Background: Position sensorless control technique for Permanent Magnets-Brush Less Direct Current (PM-BLDC) motor drive is considered in this paper. Materials and Methods: A new estimation based on sensorless technique is proposed for PMBLDC motor. Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is aided for the purpose. Results: The inputs to the ANN are the voltages of PM-BLDC motor and it estimates the sample signals to feed Zero Crossing Point (ZCP) detection circuit. The ZCP detection circuit provides ZCP signals for commutation logic which gives the commutation sequence to power switches. In order to provide the correct sample signal to ZCP detection circuit, the ANN is well trained by Genetic Algorithm (GA). The proposed sensor less control model is implemented in MATLAB/SIMULINK working platform. Conclusion: Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) is used to implement the proposed method. Experimental results verify the analysis and demonstrate the advantages of the proposed method.

The manuscript discusses the importance of sentence commutation and parole cases as an essential stage in the execution of criminal judgments, related to both judicial justice and trial authority. To clarify this issue, this article mainly adopts a literature research method to systematically review the research on China's establishment of parole and commutation since its inception, and uses case studies to provide examples to illustrate the existing situations.The author argues that substantive hearings for these cases can remove the issue of "paper-pushing" and strengthen procedural justice, transparency, and judicial justice. The manuscript suggests that the current "tripartite" linear model for parole hearings should be transitioned to a deliberative mode with statements from both prosecution and defense to achieve a substantive hearing. The author proposes that the "tripartite trial structure" reform should be the starting point for reconsidering the legal identity and rights of the participating subjects and their responsibilities.

Les régulations dont l’apprenant n’a pas conscience semblent jouer un rôle important dans la compréhension et les mises en liens avec la matière précédemment appropriée. Elles ont aussi un rôle fondamental dans la résolution de problèmes. Toutefois, la plupart des démarches didactiques exigent de la part des élèves une concentration lors de la pratique en classe et une explicitation de leurs démarches, ainsi qu’une pratique immédiatement après la transmission du savoir. Sur la base de nos recherches, nous proposons une conceptualisation des liens entre régulation et sources de contrôle des régulations tenant compte de certains éléments connus du fonctionnement du cerveau. Nous abordons aussi la complexité des interactions entre les différentes sources de contrôle dans le cadre du travail en classe.

En France, le contrôle antidopage et le contrôle des médications chez les chevaux de course et de sport obéissent à des principes qui sont similaires. Cet article explique la démarche scientifique dite Pharmacocinétique / Pharmaco-dynamique (PK/PD) qui a été adoptée pour déterminer les concentrations plasmatiques et urinaires des substances médicamenteuses qui sont considérées comme sans effet résiduel au moment des compétitions. Ces concentrations sont à la base de la sélection des valeurs de criblage analytique, c’est-à-dire des concentrations plasmatiques ou urinaires conduisant à la positivité d’un prélèvement. Elles sont implémentées pour le contrôle des médications par opposition au contrôle des substance dopantes (interdites en permanence) qui repose sur le contrôle des expositions. Les principes de la démarche sont mis en œuvre dans le cadre général d’une analyse des risques. Elle sépare clairement l’appréciation scientifique des risques des décisions finales prises par le gestionnaire du risque et qui font intervenir d’autres considérations dont celles liées à l’harmonisation internationale des valeurs analytiques de criblage. Pour aider le prescripteur, les Autorités de contrôle publient et mettent à jour régulièrement les temps de détection des principales substances médicamenteuse lorsqu’elles sont recherchées avec les limites de criblage qui ont été adoptées. Ces temps de détection sont le point de départ permettant au prescripteur de fixer un délai d’attente qui soit propre au cheval dont il supervise le traitement. Une règle par défaut consiste à doubler les temps de détection pour ne pas risquer une positivité liée à un traitement médicamenteux.

Cet article étudie l’évolution de l’organisation du contrôle public de la filière nucléaire, de la création des premières structures supervisant l’exploitation des installations nucléaires jusqu’à l’adoption de la loi sur la transparence nucléaire créant une agence formelle (1973-2006). Fondé sur un travail d’archives du ministère de l’Environnement, ainsi que sur une enquête sur entretiens, il retrace, tout particulièrement, les différents projets – réalisés ou abandonnés – de réforme organisationnelle du contrôle entrepris à la suite de l’accident de Tchernobyl en 1986. L’article montre à quel point ces projets reposent sur des modèles divergents de gouvernement du secteur et décrit les sens disparates de « l’indépendance » du régulateur qui s’affrontent, lesquels constituent une entrée heuristique dans les conceptions du rôle du politique dans les décisions nucléaires portées par divers acteurs. En partant d’un modèle « techno-politique » doté d’un fort contrôle de l’exécutif sur les décisions nucléaires, un nouveau modèle de gouvernement se construit progressivement au cours de la période, dans lequel les acteurs politiques sont mis davantage à distance des espaces de régulation du secteur, au profit d’une autonomie renforcée des organisations nucléaires (exploitantes et de contrôle). When a disaster occurs, the normal commutation routes are disrupted. People get stuck at these disaster points and would be in trouble, hence people in those areas find it difficult to communicate and evacuation route to safe area is unknown. The aim of the paper is to predict safe routes to reach the refuge point from the disaster point. The prototype was developed using Arc geographic information system runtime SDK for Java Application and APIs in Eclipse. The system was developed with digital elevation model layer, and route layer for India basemap focused to Tamil Nadu. The safe route is found based on the elevation values of the area from the disaster point to a safe point. The developed system could be used by the relief providers to reach the disaster point and rescue victims.

The evolution of manufacturing techniques and the required quality show the importance of noninvasive diagnostics in industrial processes. Ultrasounds are widely used for this purpose, thanks to their innocuous character and their intrinsic qualities. In later years, the amelioration of ultrasonic techniques has required a number of improvements, including image processing. The present works focuses on the improvement of lateral resolution to optimize the localization and the size of the defects. To this end, we have developped a 3-D model that describes the propagation of ultrasonic waves and their interaction with a point defect. Reconstructing the image requires a 2-D deconvolution through an inverse filter. Tests made on Bscam images show clearly the efficiency of this technique to improve the image resolution.[Journal translation]

AbstractThe observables of modular quantisation are studied from the point of view of locality. Such a study allows identification of possible Hamiltonians and also enables us to generalize the fundamental trilinear commutation relations of parafield theory. A comparison of modular field theory with a normal U(m) gauge theory, begun in an earlier publication, is completed with the conclusion that the two are equivalent except that the former has certain restrictions on its observables.

L’émergence des ERP s’est faite de manière significative au milieu des années 1990 et la plupart des grandes entités ont adopté ces systèmes globaux, présentés comme « la solution miracle » aux multiple problèmes de gestion. La présente communication fait d’abord le point sur la nature de ces systèmes et celle du contrôle de gestion. Elle tente ensuite de mettre la lumière sur la relation et l’impact prévu de ces technologies de l’information sur la performance des organisations. Il est aussi suggère que l’influence des ERP fait évoluer le contrôle de gestion plutôt dans ses aspects pratico-fonctionnels que dans sa dimension conceptuelle, mais cela a ses exigences et ses conditions.

Nowadays, control systems for lighting installations are used, among other functionality, to improve energy efficiency and to set different lighting outputs of the luminaires according to punctual requirements. This allows increasing energy efficiency by adapting the installation to environmental needs. Current control systems are mainly oriented to point-2-point architectures, which in most cases, are complex and expensive. As an alternative, we present the viability analysis of a sustainable control architecture for lighting installations to improve those drawbacks. This control system uses a communication technique based on controlled power-on/off sequences in the power line of the luminaires to configure different dimming profile schedules. An implementation for LED equipment with the design of an electronic CPU based on a microcontroller is described along with a study of its configuration capability. In addition, we present the set of results obtained using this system in a real outdoor public lighting installation. Furthermore, an economic amortization study of power line communication (PLC) or radio frequency (RF) control architectures versus the results of this proposal are detailed. The analysis presents the proposal as a simple but more robust and sustainable solution compared to current point-2-point systems used with streetlights: The return on investment (ROI) period is reduced allowing all the basic functionality expected—in—field output light dimming profiles selection.
