Abstract (sommario):
The article presents the methodology of organizing educational activities to study a writer’s biography with the help of facilitation approach. A key aspect of the paper is the group work model, i.e., “The World Café” which allowed the authors to process and comprehend a large amount of information about F.M. Dostoevsky, share it with students, and plan further work on the study of his creative writing. In addition, the article identifies important concepts in the comprehension of the first part of the posthumous biography “The materials for the biography of F.M. Dostoevsky”. The compiler of the biography was O.F. Miller, a professor of literature in St. Petersburg University (Russia), critic, publicist, and a famous educator of the 19th century. Interestingly, “Materials for the biography of F.M. Dostoevsky”, published in 1883, were not fully republished and did not receive sufficient scientific understanding until 2010, even though the work of O.F. Miller remained the main source the experts studying F.M. Dostoevsky. Of much importance is the fact that some parts of “Materials for the biography of F.M. Dostoevsky” appeared on the Internet only after 2012. This paradox highlights the importance of the research describing the biography. In 2010, the personal history “Materials for the biography of F.M. Dostoevsky” became an integral part of the academic thesis by K.A. Okisheva “F.M. Dostoevsky and O.F. Miller: the history of relationships”. Our present study highlights the importance of biographies for the education of young generations. Our major concern is the methodology, according to which personal history’s information serves as an essential part of roundtable discussions which simultaneously target the acquisition of F.M. Dostoevsky’s biography and innovative classroom activities.

Saraskina, Liudmila I. "“One Must Tell the Truth:” Fyodor Dostoevsky and His Contemporaries in the Debate about the Results of the Crimean Campaign". Dostoevsky and World Culture. Philological journal, n. 1 (2023): 96–140. http://dx.doi.org/10.22455/2619-0311-2023-1-96-140.

Abstract (sommario):
The paper discusses F.M. Dostoevsky’s attitude towards the Crimean military campaign (1853–1856) and his understanding of the deep meaning of the armed conflict between Russia and the alliance which included the British, French, and Ottoman Empires, as well as the Kingdom of Sardinia. It is argued that F.M. Dostoevsky may be called a “child of the Crimean campaign,” even though he did not participate in it personally, as he remained, all through those months, first a convict and then an exile. However, it was the Crimean campaign that stimulated him to ponder about Russia’s position in the world and about Russia’s geopolitical interests. The Crimean campaign was also well “remembered” by many characters in F.M. Dostoevsky’s novels. The central theme of the paper is the destiny of the three poems that Dostoevsky wrote during his exile in the town of Semipalatinsk. In those poems, the author pointedly presented his evaluation of the events which formed and defined the basis of his worldview. It is sometimes claimed that the main purpose of writing those poems was just pragmatic, allegedly caused by the plight of the author and his desperate desire to come back to literature at any cost. In this paper, this claim is refuted. Especially emphasized is F.M. Dostoevsky’s later avowal that at the very time of the military confrontation he, even though a convict, wished Russia’s victory and not Russia’s defeat. Next, the paper analyses the utterances about the Crimean war by some like-minded contemporaries of F.M. Dostoevsky (the poets F.M. Tyutchev and A.N. Maykov, the historian N.Ya. Danilevsky) as compared with positions of intellectuals and politicians in Europe. F.M. Dostoevsky rejects the assertion that Russia suffered a humiliating defeat in the Crimean war, an assertion that was firmly rooted in the public consciousness and, for many years, taken almost as a universally recognized truth.

"Effect of arbuscular mycorrhizal symbiosis on growth and biochemical characteristics of Chinese fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata) seedlings under low phosphorus environment". Abstract (sommario):
Background The continuous establishment of Chinese fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata) plantations across multiple generations has led to the limited impact of soil phosphorus (P) on tree growth. This challenge poses a significant obstacle in maintaining the sustainable management of Chinese fir. Methods To investigate the effects of Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) on the growth and physiological characteristics of Chinese fir under different P supply treatments. We conducted an indoor pot simulation experiment in the greenhouse of the Forestry College of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University with one-and-half-year-old seedlings of Chinese fir from March 2019 to June 2019, with the two P level treatment groups included a normal P supply treatment (1.0 mmol L−1 KH2PO4, P1) and a no P supply treatment (0 mmol L−1 KH2PO4, P0). P0 and P1 were inoculated with Funneliformis mosseae (F.m) or Rhizophagus intraradices (R.i) or not inoculated with AMF treatment. The AMF colonization rate in the root system, seedling height (SH), root collar diameter (RCD) growth, chlorophyll (Chl) photosynthetic characteristics, enzyme activities, and endogenous hormone contents of Chinese fir were estimated. Results The results showed that the colonization rate of F.m in the roots of Chinese fir seedlings was the highest at P0, up to 85.14%, which was 1.66 times that of P1. Under P0 and P1 treatment, root inoculation with either F.m or R.i promoted SH growth, the SH of R.i treatment was 1.38 times and 1.05 times that of F.m treatment, respectively. In the P1 treatment, root inoculation with either F.m or R.i inhibited RCD growth. R.i inhibited RCD growth more aggressively than F.m. In the P0 treatment, root inoculation with F.m and R.i reduced the inhibitory effect of phosphorus deficiency on RCD. At this time, there was no significant difference in RCD between F.m, R.i and CK treatments (p < 0.05). AMF inoculation increased Fm, Fv, Fv/Fm, and Fv/Fo during the chlorophyll fluorescence response in the tested Chinese fir seedlings. Under the two phosphorus supply levels, the trend of Fv and Fm of Chinese fir seedlings in different treatment groups was F.m > R.i > CK. Under P0 treatment, The values of Fv were 235.86, 221.86 and 147.71, respectively. The values of Fm were 287.57, 275.71 and 201.57, respectively. It increased the antioxidant enzyme activity and reduced the leaf’s malondialdehyde (MDA) content to a certain extent. Conclusion It is concluded that AMF can enhance the photosynthetic capacity of the host, regulate the distribution of endogenous hormones in plants, and promote plant growth by increasing the activity of antioxidant enzymes. When the P supply is insufficient, AMF is more helpful to plants, and R.i is more effective than F.m in alleviating P starvation stress in Chinese fir.

Abstract (sommario):
The review of literature on the problem of “Dialogue of cultures in A. Gide’s works” establish extensive contact and typological convergence, a rollcall of images and ideas, reveal new interpretation of the story. All this became the basis of intertextual analysis, which allows us to understand more deeply the intention of the artists of the word, especially F.M. Dostoevsky, with whom A. Gide enters into a virtual dialogue. The work purpose is to address the ethical and philo-sophical ideas of F. Nietzsche and F.M. Dostoevsky in the context of A. Gide’s works, which turns out to be the most important moment and the basis for understanding the essence of the work of prominent French writer. The system of analysis includes a peculiar dialogue between F. Nietzsche, A. Gide and F.M. Dostoevsky – artists belonging to different nationalities and cul-tures, who did not coincide in time, did not know each other personally, which turned out to be evidence of their inextricable cultural connection. We determine the study degree and A. Gide’s artistic world originality on the basis of the rich factual material contained in the studies of the creative heritage of the French writer, which allows us to trace the evolution of A. Gide’s work from the beginning of the 20th to the beginning of the 21st century, to determine the literary signi-ficance of the problems posed in his work. The methodology of the work includes an overview of what has already been done in French and Russian literary studies on this issue in the context of the embodiment of national ideas in their work, which is the novelty and relevance of this study. Conclusions: for A. Gide, an appeal to F.M. Dostoevsky was immersed in his literary texts in order to understand the Russian mentality in comparison with the Western European system of values. The French writer emphasized that in the Russian environment, depicted by F.M. Dostoevsky, love prevails, which is “inclusive”, so the writer called it “world responsiveness”. People go to such love through compassion, sacrifice, meekness and deep faith in the Savior and the Mother of God. Realizing their messianic role in the world, the Russian people, represented by F.M. Dostoevsky, according to A. Gide, in the future will renew the Catholic Church, which dis-torted Christianity and brought strife in the world community. The dialogical perspective requires a deeper study, because French, German and Russian writers-thinkers turn their gaze not only to the interpretative part, not only to the interpretation, interpretation of the works of F.M. Dos-toevsky, but also scattered in the works of A. Gide rolls with his thoughts, disputes with his heroes, allusions to his plots, to playing out individual episodes, which did not find a detailed study and justification in this interesting virtual dialogue.

Abstract (sommario):
The relevance of the article is due to the authors attempt to apply some of the philosophical concepts of F.M. Dostoevsky to the comprehension of contemporary sociocultural reality. The purpose of this study is to clarify the reasons for the historically unfriendly attitude of Europe towards Russia by analyzing the works of F.M. Dostoevsky dedicated to this problem. In the process of writing the article, the published Diaries of the writer were used; diary entries unpublished during the writer's life; philosophical reflections contained in works of art, as well as applied modern scientific and popular science literature dedicated to the work of F.M. Dostoevsky. In the course of the analysis, it was found that the writer considered historical, confessional and moral reasons to be the main factors in the rejection of Russia by Europe, while he especially singled out disinterestedness incomprehensible to Europe as a characteristic of the Russian people. The authors draws attention to the fact that all the reasons for Europe's "remarkable dislike" for Russia, about which F.M. Dostoevsky, directly or indirectly associated with the Orthodox faith. Therefore, an attempt to actualize the worldview heritage of the great writer will certainly lead us to a dilemma: either to move from thoughts and words to actions, to religiously enlighten both ourselves and Europe; or to enclose our Orthodox heritage in a historical and cultural framework, eliminating the source of the reasons for our rejection by the European public, with all the ensuing consequences.

Abstract (sommario):
We analyzed the anti-Catholic discourse of the novel by F.M. Dostoevsky “Demons” (1872). The object of the study is the religious and confessional views of F.M. Dostoevsky in the aspect of the writer’s polemics with Catholicism and the papacy. The research methodology is based on the principles of comparative and contextual analysis. The interdisciplinary nature of the study is due to the appeal to theological, philosophical, religious-confessional and socio-political issues. The materials of the study were the text of the novel “Demons”, handwritten editions and draft notes to the novel, as well as external to F.M. Dostoevsky’s sources are historiosophical, polemical, historical literature, etc. In the course of an ideological content of “Demons” consistent review, the author identified three areas of anti-Catholic polemics implemented by the writer on the novel pages: anthropotheistic, Christological and socio-political. All three aspects are concentrated in the complex image of Nikolai Vsevolodovich Stavrogin – a demon, a man-god, an antichrist and novel world impostor. The motive of the worldwide Catholic conspiracy threatening Russia is displayed in the political constructions of Pyotr Stepanovich Verkhovensky. The practical significance of the results of the study lies in the possibility of their further use in a comprehensive study of F.M. Dostoevsky’s religious and historiosophical system of views, as well as by introducing the results obtained into the educational process for conducting seminars on the history of Russian literature.

The article is an overview of documents stored in the fund 796 - the Office of the Synod. This is one of the most significant funds of the Russian State Historical Archive (RGIA), which makes it possible to more fully study the activities of the Russian Orthodox Church outside Russia. This article presents an analysis of only one inventory - 143 for 1862. This is the year of the first trip of F.M. Dostoevsky abroad. The trip lasted from June 7 to August 24, and during these months, along with many European cities, the writer will visit Turin, Florence, Milan, Venice. Italy occupies a special place in F.M. Dostoevsky. The writer visited this country three times, and each of the travels was significant in its own way for Fyodor Mikhailovich. But it should not be denied that the impressions received by the writer in other countries undoubtedly shaped his opinions, which were subsequently reflected in the series of essays "Winter Notes on Summer Impressions." Events and possible meetings of F.M. Dostoevsky with compatriots living abroad or traveling will become more understandable when studying archival documents.

Once again, it is time to talk about moral principles. This concept is clearly established in the law. But its content-content remains in the circle of discrepancies. The countdown of its history is usually considered when referring to the essay by A.F. Kony ‘Moral principles in criminal proceedings (General features of judicial ethics)’. This article is based on the author’s previous research, which showed that the idea of moral principles as a corresponding category was suggested by A.F. Kony and F.M. Dostoevsky. The article is devoted to the further goal-to extract the missing (according to the essay by A.F. Kony) information about moral principles from the artistic and publicistic works of F.M. Dostoevsky. The works of F.M. Dostoevsky are considered from the point of view of searching for the mechanism of the criminal justice system taking into account the moral principles. A.F. Kony’s essay on moral principles is filled with the history of the criminal process, and only a small part of it has become considered as a mission statement and widely.

Abstract (sommario):
In the 1880s. F.M. Dostoevsky was perceived in Sweden as a revolutionary writer, therefore there was great attention to his political views, which influenced among others S. Lagerlf, who read Dostoevsky in Swedish, Danish and, possibly, in French. In the novel Antichrists Miracles (1897) S. Lagerlf talks about Italy, a Catholic country where the church has much more power than in Protestant lands. In this regard, Lagerlf actualizes F.M. Dostoevskys reflections on the connection between the state and the church, presented in Brothers Karamazov and other novels. The key question that interests both F.M. Dostoevsky and S. Lagerlf is whether people can build the kingdom of Christ on earth when Christ said: My kingdom is not of this world. F.M. Dostoevsky examines this problem in most detail in the unfinished article Socialism and Christianity , which S. Lagerlf could not read, but she was undoubtedly familiar with Dostoevskys thoughts on this matter put into the mouths of Zosima and Prince Myshkin. In S. Lagerlf's novel Antichrists Miracles , the main character becomes a socialist, though he dreamed of becoming a priest in childhood, like Alyosha Karamazov. A fake image of Christ with the words My kingdom is only on earth becomes a banner of socialism in Lagerlf's novel. This image works wonders but only related to earthly goods. At the end of the novel, Lagerlf comes to the conclusion (put into the mouth of the Pope) that this image should not be destroyed, but the earth should be reconciled with heaven. This conclusion is consistent with Dostoevskys ideas about the universal church realized on earth.

Many works are known where he discusses the place of Russia in the world, the need to take a higher and more stable position, the need for the education and development of Russian territories, and many words of F.M. Dostoevsky is surprised by the accuracy of foresight and designation of a wide range of tasks facing his homeland.

Kapustina, Svetlana V. "Orthodox cardiognosis of the russian people as the basis of heroism (bogatirstvo) (based on the “Diary of a writer” by F.M. Dostoevsky)". Abstract (sommario):
The term “cardiognosis” is a neologism at the turn of the XX-XXI centuries. F.M. Dostoevsky used in the “Diary of a Writer” and in the Great Pentateuch its Russian counterpart - “heart knowledge”. The chronologically explainable absence in the heritage of the classic of the lexeme under study, based on the addition of Latin roots, does not at all contradict the fact that F.M. Dostoevsky made an invaluable contribution to the intellectual tradition of studying cardiognosis that has developed in Russia. The creator of the “Diary of a Writer” invariably correlated this category with folk Orthodoxy. He saw the “heart knowledge of Christ” as the most effective and infallible way of attaining God. Dostoevsky developed such a perception as a result of his deep immersion in the context of the Bible and patristic literature. The writer was convinced that the cardiognostically conditioned faith of the Russian people is a guarantee of their special - world-unifying - destiny in the future. Nevertheless, he did not idealize popular types, noting their susceptibility to temporary obsession. However, this feature, according to F.M. Dostoevsky, does not exclude the openness of the heroic path to every Russian Vlas. In the “Diary of a Writer”, the occasional semantic content of the category “heroism” (“bo-gatirstvo”) is especially expressively explicated. It is understood not as an indication of a military ethos, but as a service to God in a broad sense. The basis and inspiration of heroism (bogatirstvo), according to F.M. Dostoevsky, is precisely cardiognosis. The writer is sure: a heart that “contains God” can transform into a “better person” even one who has sinned, but who repented in time. On the pages of the “Diary of a Writer” F.M. Dostoevsky not only defines the “best people” of the past of Russia (“Tikhon, Monomakh, Ilya...”), but also admires their followers from the 19th century. He considers those contemporaries who are ready to sacrifice themselves for the protection of brothers in Christ (General Chernyaev, Sophia Lurie, Foma Danilovich Lotaryov) as the incarnators of spiritual heroism (bogatirstvo). Dostoevsky's causal comprehension of the categories “cardiognosis” and “heroism” (“bo-gatirstvo”) showed a significant trait of the Russian national character, demonstrated the writer's faith in the saving mission of the God-bearing people.

Abstract (sommario):
The article is devoted to the analysis of the Semipalatinsk and Kuznetsk periods in the life and work of F.M. Dostoevsky. The purpose of the study is to reveal the Kazakh-Siberian periods in the fate of the Russian writer, their reflection in the letters and works of art by F.M. Dostoevsky. In the year of the 200th anniversary of the birth of the Russian writer, we cannot talk about the complete study of the indicated periods of the life of the prose writer, which, of course, to one degree or another, were reflected in his prose. This determines the degree of novelty of this article. Dostoevsky is dear to Kazakhstan. He not only served his exile, but also found a friend here, sincere and quivering - the historian, orientalist, ethnographer Ch. Valikhanov. The stories Uncle's Dream and The Village of Stepanchikovo and Its Inhabitant, the first chapters of Notes from the Dead House were written in Semipalatinsk. The story The village of Stepanchikovo and its inhabitants (1857-1859) has the author's clarification: From the notes of the unknown. Many works of fiction in world literature are the result of travel notes, diaries. Undoubtedly, the restoration of the history of the Kazakh-Siberian period of the life and work of F.M. Dostoevsky is of great value, because the greatest Russian writer experienced spiritual revival there, in Kazahstan. The works of F.M. Dostoevsky were included in the literature program of secondary schools in Kazakhstan, translated into Kazakh ( The Idiot, The Brothers Karamazov translated by N. Syzdykov). Dostoevsky scholars of Kazakhstan in the XXI century continue to study the writers works.

Abstract (sommario):
Self-compacted concrete (SCC) considered as a revolution progress in concrete technology due to its ability for flowing through forms, fusion with reinforcement, compact itself by its weight without using vibrators and economic advantages. This research aims to assess the fresh properties of SCC and study their effect on its compressive strength using different grading zones and different fineness modulus (F.M) of fine aggregate. The fineness modulus used in this study was (2.73, 2.82,2.9& 3.12) for different zones of grading (zone I, zone II& marginal zone(between zone I&II)) according to Iraqi standards (I.Q.S No.45/1984).Twelve mixes were prepared, each mix were tested in fresh state with slump, V-Funnel and L-Box tests, then 72 concrete cubes of (100*100*100) mm for different mixes were tested for compressive strength after 7 and 28 days of water curing. Results indicated that the combined effect of finenessmodulus and grading zone were clear on the passing ability and little effect of grading zone on flow ability and viscosity of fresh SCC properties. Compressive strength decreases with increasing F.M and no effect of grading zone for F.M higher than 2.90

Abstract (sommario):
The purpose of the article is the comparative analysis of female images in F.M. Dostoevsky’s and J. Fowles’s novels. The basic method applied in given research is the method of the comparative analysis F.M. Dostoevsky’s and J. Fowles’s novels. Dostoevsky and Fowles are in searches of root of all evil. Both of them are assured that in human spirit are indissolubly merged kindly and angrily, God and Satan. In a shower of hero Dostoevsky indissolubly merge “an ideal of the Madonna” with “an ideal Sodom”. The woman is present at a life of the man as elements. The woman is only temptation and passion of men. In female images of the writer, unlike man’s characters, there is no change at soul level. Unlike Dostoevsky, products of Fowles testify to constant interest of the writer to a problematic “eternal feminist”. In novels of Fowles of the woman have the personal space. Dostoevsky’s heroes submit to life laws; they through great suffering come to humility. But heroes of Fowles to themselves create laws and submit only to the rules. The article contains important conceptual conclusions on the problems of the realistic novel of the 19th century and the postmodern novel of the 20th centuries, defines the peculiarities of the traditions of F.M. Dostoevsky and J. Fowles. The presented work provides an opportunity to take a fresh look at the cult works written in the 19th–20th centuries. F.M. Dostoevsky as the “founder” of neo-mythological consciousness — the cultural paradigm of the 20th century — gave J. Fowles valuable “tips” against the background of modern literary thought and his comparison with the mythopoetic thought of the English writer was especially embodied in mythological premises associated with the sphere of deepest questions of ethics and religious metaphysics.

Abstract (sommario):
The work is devoted to the study of F.M. Dostoevsky’s aesthetics, in particular, the writer’s aesthetic ideal. Following Kant, Hegel, and Schiller, the Russian writer considered the ideal in an anthropological aspect. The writer’s aesthetic ideal is a person who synthesizes the moral and spiritual in himself. The idea of moral beauty is expressed in the theoretical thought of the Russian writer. Harmony, comeliness serve only as an outer shell, when moral height appears as the aesthetic ideal of F.M. Dostoevsky. His works strive for this beauty and truth. Following the examples of “positive beauty” of world and domestic literature and art, F.M. Dostoevsky recreated in his works positively beautiful characters. The Russian writer speaks of the duality of beauty, the “two abysses” of the human soul: “Sodom” – low, sinful, connected with the beauty of the body, sensual, and “Madonna” – high, connected with spiritual beauty, a person can combine both. The writer’s aesthetic ideal is turned to spiritual beauty. Of particular interest is the “A Writer’s Diary” by F.M. Dostoevsky. It is in this work that the writer’s idea of the aesthetic ideal clearly expressed. The question of the ideal person is considered in the context of underground (afterlife) life in the story “Bobok” and above-ground space in “The Dream of a Ridiculous Man”. In these stories and journalistic texts framing them, the internal dynamics of the writer’s worldview position are revealed: from stating the corruption of the spirit and immortality of the soul (“Bobok”) to the tragic insight of the truth (“A Gentle Creature”) and the affirmation of the “living” image of truth (“The Dream of a Ridiculous Man”). The story explicitly expresses the overcoming of such a painful contradiction between the individual and the general, between a positively beautiful person and society.

Abstract (sommario):
The main subject of this article is the relationship of a human as a personality or as an individual and society in the artistic and philosophical creativity of F.M. Dostoevsky and L.N. Tolstoy. The main goal of this work is, in comparison with the structuralist approach, to analyze the main provisions of the approaches of F.M. Dostoevsky and L.N. Tolstoy, which touched upon the problem of the relationship of a human as a personality or as an individual and society. The main objectives of this article: to analyze how the concepts of the personality and the individual differ, and what is the correlation of the personality and the individual with society as a whole. Then it is determined what is the understanding of the individual and his purely functional role in the society of the structuralist approach. Finally, the understanding of a person as a unique personality, created in the image and likeness of God in the works of F.M. Dostoevsky and L.N. Tolstoy. It is determined what is the advantage of such an existential-personalist approach of two Russian thinkers over the structuralist direction and its approach to the individual as just a "cog" of a systemically-functionally regulated society. So, as shown in the article, structuralism presupposes the domination of the general, the whole over the individual, the particular and grades a human as a personality, turning him into only an atomic social individual. In contradiction to structuralism, F.M. Dostoevsky and L.N. Tolstoy develop an approach to man as a person and offer an original model of society as an interconnected community of personalities. As the study proves, thinkers also influenced the personalist philosophy of the 20th century, and their approach as a whole allows a human to realize himself as a genuine, independent personality, and not as an individual governed by a social system, enslaved by the society.

The features of perception of the image of the earth by the heroes of the works of F.M. Dostoevsky, A. Platonov, I.S. Shmelev are considered. It is determined that the world of images created by F.M. Dostoevsky, A.P. Platonov and I.S. Shmelev in artistic texts is built on the basis of semantic oppositions: life – death, day – night, person – nature, one’s own – another’s. One of the obvious oppositions functioning in the texts of the authors under study is the earth–sky opposition. The perception of the image of the earth among the writers under study occurs within the framework of the mythopoetic paradigm, but at the same time each of them creates his own myth.

Abstract (sommario):
The article aims at a multidimensional discussion of the little-explored topic of the dramatic content of the philosophical problems in the works of F.M. Dostoevsky (1821—1881). There is proved that it was this feature of creativity that made the writer, with his philosophy of life and sharp, dramatically effective plot and psychological collisions, the most desirable and very productive author for the Russian theater art.Polyphony, dialogism, combined with the features of the tragic genre, are the basis for numerous theatrical embodiments of novels and novellas by F.M. Dostoevsky. The intensity of the action in his works gave rise to the expressions “novel-drama” or “drama in a novel”, “novel-tragedy”, and in theatrical practice it created the ground for the transformation of moral and philosophical problems into active stage action. The article reveals the context of F.M. Dostoevsky’s works — the time and conditions for the emergence of novels and novellas, the problem field that united and separated him from the works of his predecessors and contemporaries, which is done on the basis of a brief description of several aspects of the philosophical-aesthetic and socio-moral systems. In this context, according to our concept, a special place is occupied by the idea that life in Russia is absurd and ridiculous, and the reflection of the absurd is the most important artistic paradigm. The article proves that the analyzed philosophy of F.M. Dostoevsky’s life received polar genre embodiments in the theater. Thus, the dramatic and melodramatic beginning was characteristic of the performances that had in their center the so-called little man. The article presents an understanding of the most remarkable performances of the second half of the 20th and the beginning of the 21st century: “The Idiot” by G. Tovstonogov, with a new trend of searching for a “positively beautiful” person, which had a significant impact on many theatrical experiences in Russia; “The Petersburg Dreams” by Yu. Zavadsky, as a unique experience for Soviet art of creating a tragic work in full accordance with the aesthetic characteristics of this genre; “And I Will Go, and I Will Go” by V. Fokin, as the last emotional outburst of the young generation of Soviet creators who thought in the moral and psychological parameters of F.M. Dostoevsky’s characters; “The Karamazovs” by K. Bogomolov — a postmodern experience of an absurdist reading of the multifaceted text of the classic. In the works of the writer and their theatrical embodiment, the article notes the signs of a carnival worldview, a combination of grotesque and subtle psychologism in the stage versions of F.M. Dostoevsky (in particular, when working with ironic and satirical texts, “Uncle’s Dream” and especially “The Village of Stepanchikovo”, where sympathy and negative connotations are integrated into a single artistic space). The article correlates the writer’s works existential interpretations by theatrical creators of the 20th and early 21st centuries with socially significant problems, life choices, and dramatic conflicts that characterize Dostoevsky’s philosophy.

Abstract (sommario):
The ideas of Slavic unity periodically played a significant role in politics. Today, the ideas of pan-Slavism, both political and cultural, are relevant again. The objective of this study is to identify two stable trends of pan-Slavism of the 19th century, “political” and “cultural”, which are reflected in the works of classics of Russian literature: F.I. Tyutchev and F.M. Dostoevsky. The history of socio-political doctrines as an interdisciplinary field of knowledge involves the study of various sources, including fiction. The theoretical basis of this research is a political and textual approach to the study of texts developed at the Department of the History of Socio-Political Doctrines of the Faculty of Political Science of Lomonosov Moscow State University, as well as methods used in the research of political science fiction. According to the results of the study, it can be concluded that ideologically Tyutchev was close to representatives of “political” pan-Slavism. He believed that the “Germanization” and “Turkification” of the Slavic peoples jeopardized the state interests of Russia and called for actions to liberate, unite and Russify the Slavic countries (the idea of the Slavic Empire). Dostoevsky gravitated towards “cultural” pan-Slavism. He did not deny the very possibility of such a union, but believed that first it was necessary to raise the level of civic culture, for Dostoevsky the future of the “Slavic cause” was determined by the Orthodox-Messianic idea. If Russia aims to build allied relations with Slavic countries, it will have to formulate an attractive idea that could also contribute to the spiritual unification of Slavs and other peoples.

Abstract (sommario):
L.F. Dostoevskaya’s oeuvre consists of short stories and two novels, together with a biography of F.M. Dostoevsky. Her fiction is perceived by researchers as largely autobiographical; her book about F.M. Dostoevsky as a father is considered the least reliable source of biography. Therefore a mixture of genres can be considered: her prose displays features of the poetics of autobiography; her documentary contains fiction, while the author’s discourse dominates the character of the book. This article discusses some features of the poetics of fiction and the documentary prose of L.F. Dostoevskyaya. Dostoevskaya’s works suggest that the narrator is close to the author, since in some works the narrator is an autobiographical narrator named Lyubov Feodorovna. This article presents elements of a narratological analysis of her oeuvre of novels and short stories; this can help the reader trace the connections between the perspectives of the protagonists and narrators. In some narrative structures, the positions of the protagonists and narrators become equivalent due to the extra-narrative roles of the latter. The article also provides a partial analysis of the main themes and motifs of her prose, indicating their connection to the work of F.M. Dostoevsky. In particular, we discuss the connection between Dostoevskaya’s prose and her father’s unfinished novel ‘Netochka Nezvanova’. Taken as a single text, the prose of the great writer’s daughter demonstrates features of the Bildungsroman.

Dostoevsky to answer the question whether a person of this profession is only a healer of the body or can act as a healer of the soul and even spirit. Reflections on the purpose of the doctor dictated by the F.M. Dostoevsky biography: in the field of medicine worked not only the writer's father – M.A. Dostoevsky, but also his great-uncle V.M. Kotelnitsky. The purpose of this study is to identify the features of anthroponymic vocabulary used for doctors nominations. Doctors’ list of names in Dostoevsky's literary texts is socially and nationally determined, as well as chronotopical: the abundance of foreign anthroponyms is a vivid characteristic of the era depicted by the writer, when medical practice was conducted by specialists who came from other countries. F.M. Dostoevsky creates anthroponyms according to traditional models typical for a particular language. At the same time, he uses an easily disclosed etymology, in connection with which many foreign surnames can be attributed to “eloquent” and comic, contributing to the creation of an incompetent and strange doctor’s image. Another common technique of onomastic Dostoevsky’s laboratory is the assimilation of foreign name with Russian – with the aim of reducing or disclosure of the doctor’s image.

Abstract (sommario):
The features of G. Böll’s comprehension of the problem of “humiliated and insulted” heroes in the story “The Burning Ones” are analyzed in the context of the literary influence on this work of the novel by F.M. Dostoevsky “Crime and Punishment”. The method of comparative historical analysis is used. The relevance of the study is due to the need for a comprehensive and diverse study of the literary dialogue between H. Böll and F.M. Dostoevsky. The novelty of the study lies in the fact that the story of G. Böll “Burning” considered in the article, became the object of study in Russian literary criticism for the first time. It has been established that the German writer develops the idea of the Russian classic about the spiritual transformation of morally fallen characters through redemptive suffering, the healing power of love, and turning to religion. Between the artistic worlds of the works under consideration, parallels are also revealed at the level of individual images (Sonya and Susanna) and motives (resurrecting love). Comparison of the poetological features of the story “Burning” and the novel “Crime and Punishment” not only reveals the similarity of the aesthetic attitudes of the two authors in these works, but also helps to determine a number of main directions in the reception of the artistic experience of F.M. Dostoevsky, developed in the further work of G. Böll.

Darenskiy, V. Yu. "SYMBOLISM OF THE DOUBLE AS A SOURCE OF PERSONALITY METAPHYSICS IN F.M. DOSTOEVSKY’s CREATIVITY". Bulletin of Udmurt University. Series History and Philology 30, n. 6 (11 dicembre 2020): 1061–71. http://dx.doi.org/10.35634/2412-9534-2020-30-6-1061-1071.

Abstract (sommario):
The article analyzes the symbolism of the Double as a source of personality theology by F.M. Dostoevsky. The novel “The Double” is considered as a paradigmatic text in which the principles of construction of key images in the late novels of F.M. Dostoevsky were formed. The paper uses the ideas of A.A. Ukhtomsky and E.Ya. Golosovker, who proposed a philosophical interpretation of the phenomenon of “duality”. The novel “The Double” is considered as a source of personality theology of F.M. Dostoevsky, since it was the first time that the figurative model of the struggle between man’s personality and mask-face, which most directly reveals the duality of his nature as the created image of God, was developed. The hero’s search for his inner “place” (topos of authenticity) and inner support in the confrontation between the “mask” and then the Double as its ultimate expression is the main theme of the story. The duality of the “nature” of man, who is both the image and likeness of God, and carries the Original sin, is a traditional theological theme and the theme of Christian anthropology. However, by means of fiction it was not developed by anyone in such depth and completeness as F.M. Dostoevsky. “Duality” acts as a special mode of negative self-disclosure of the personality by means of its elimination of its external false identities. The struggle against the Double is the struggle of the true nature of man with his damage by Original sin. Corrupt nature is in the form of masks of Doubles, and genuine - he is fighting them, searching in his soul for the highest type. The masks are overcome only by their positive survival in the inner experience of man. The text of the novel “The Double” is at first interpreted as a “genre of dreams” and as a special “initiation” text aimed at the internal transformation of the reader’s personality.

Abstract (sommario):
RELEVANCE. Pictorial discourse is an essential element of F.M. Dostoevsky’s artistic creativity, which performs a special symbolic function and provides additional semantic load. The purpose of the study is to analyze the symbolic content of the canvas by the Spanish artist D. Velasquez “Portrait of Pope Innocent the X” (1650) in the context of the author’s idea for the story by F.M. Dostoevsky “The Meek One” (1876).MATERIALS AND METHODS. The object of the study is the novel by F.M. Dostoevsky “The Meek One”, published in the November issue of the Writer’s Diary for 1876, as well as handwritten editions and rough sketches for the story. The methodological basis of the research includes the method of comparative historical and hermeneutical-interpretative analysis. The interdisciplinary nature of the research is due to the appeal to theological, philosophical, historical and art criticism issues.RESULT AND DISCUSSION. During the research, the presence of a symbolic correlation between the portrait of the pontiff and the image of the Pawnbroker was revealed. The motives of deception, despotic domination, fear and secret voluptuousness mutually intersect and complement each other, forming a double portrait of the pope and the hero of the story. For Dostoevsky himself, the image of Pontiff Innocent X could be a kind of personification of the Catholic institution of the Papacy and the tendencies hidden in it towards spiritual despotism and absolute domination over man. A vivid artistic device, which was never realized in the final version of the story, acquires special significance and sound in the context of Dostoevsky’s anti-Catholic polemic. CONCLUSION. The symbolic function of the papal portrait has an important conceptual significance, both within the author’s idea of the story “The Meek One” and beyond it in the context of Dostoevsky’s anti-Catholic discourse. The obtained conclusions make important adjustments to the further study of the story by F.M. Dostoevsky, deepening its semantic meaning.

Abstract (sommario):
The purpose of the study is to consider the concept of "philosopheme", which allows analyzing such basic categories of philosophical and legal reflections of the writer and thinker F.M. Dostoevsky as crime and punishment and correlating their interpretation with his personal life experience. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the fact that through the disclosure of the content of the philosophems "crime" and "punishment", the existential aspects of F.M. Dostoevsky's anthropological and philosophical-legal reflections are revealed. As a result of the analysis of Dostoevsky's novel "Crime and Punishment", his other works, the writer's letters, autobiographical testimonies, it becomes clear that the core of these philosophies for Dostoevsky is a moral code that allows a person to overcome the" disconnection "and" disconnection " of modern man's being both with himself and with society.

Abstract (sommario):
The purpose of this work is related to the statement of F.M. Dostoevsky that the salvation of the world is possible only through love for the human soul and, as a consequence of this love, through inner beauty. Based on this, the purpose of the article is to analyze the various meanings of the word beauty in lexicographic sources and in the novel “Idiot” by F.M. Dostoevsky. Vocabulary and textual representations of the lexeme красота ( beauty) are correlated. The author concludes that the polysemantic word beauty is not used in the text of the novel at the nomination of objects, at the description of nature, as well as at the expression of admiration. The analysis of the lexeme красота (beauty) outlined the moral nature of the word, thereby confirming the issues outlined above.

Abstract (sommario):
The article examines the Orthodox criticism of socialism in the legacy of F.M. Dostoevsky, S.N. Bulgakov and St. Seraphim Sobolev. The important but little-known texts of F.M. Dostoevsky are analyzed, as well as the historiosophical symbolism of the story “The Dream of a Funny Man”. The evolution of S.N. Bulgakov’s views from the early utopia of “Christian socialism” to his mature works, which see an anti-Christian basis in socialism, is considered. Special attention is paid to the little-known work of St. Seraphim Sobolev (1881–1950) on socialism, in which he emphasized the spiritual incompatibility of socialism and Christianity. The great relevance of these works for our time is shown, when the mythologeme of “Christian socialism”, which has long been overcome in Russian philosophy, is being revived again.
